Jimmy Neutron, under the influence of his evil clone, began to scream and contort, leaving his friends shocked and confused.
"What's going on with him. Carl!" Cindy screamed as she looked worriedly at Jimmy.
"I swear I didn't do anything" Carl responded, bewildered.
Jimmy continued to scream and writhe in pain, and the gang had no idea what was happening. Betty tried to calm him down, and eventually, he stopped screaming.
Miros broke the uneasy silence "Well, I just think he's having nightmares in his dreams and it might be because of his evil clone, mostly"
Nick attempted to lighten the mood with a joke "Or maybe he's nightmare about lost his intelligence and is now second or third place," he quipped, laughing until Betty's stern look silenced him.
Cindy's gaze remained downward, worried and lost in thought. Surprisingly, Nick's joke wasn't funny to her at all.
Libby approached Cindy, concerned "Cindy, are you okay? If you don't know the treatment yet, that's okay. We appreciate your efforts"
Cindy, frustrated, yelled "If any of you useless people are bored, you can go home and drink milk" The gang froze in place. Cindy slammed both hands on the table as she looked down and said angrily "As for me, There's no way I'm leaving this place without getting it back"
Everyone fell silent, uneasy, until Carl's stomach growled.
"Ohw ,I think I'll go and drink milk" Carl said before leaving the lab.
Libby muttered sarcastically, "that's better. You weren't much help anyway"
Outside, Carl saw a boy in a hat and pink clothes knocking on Cindy's door. Cindy's mom was at work, her dad was traveling, and the servants were off for the day. Timmy, tired of knocking, turned to see Carl staring at him.
Timmy approached him directly and asked him "Hey, Carl, how are you? Do you know where..?" Carl cut in with a frown, even he know.
"Cindy?, She is busy now, tell me what you want from her"
Timmy ignored the question. "Busy? With what? Just tell me where she is"
"Not before answering this question, what do you want from Cindy?" Carl
"Oh please, why do you even care...I just want to talk to her it's been almost two months since I last saw her"
Carl narrowed his eyes at Timmy for a moment then replied frustratedly "She's in Jimmy's lab. You're lucky I left the club door open. I hope she doesn't get distracted because she's trying really hard to find a cure for Jimmy's condition"
"Why? What's up with Jimmy?" Timmy asked
Carl said as he walked away "I don't know, you can hear the story from them"
Without waiting, Timmy ran and entered Jimmy's lab without any hesitation. Libby was the first to notice him.
Libby sighed and declared in frustration "Oh, guys, look who's here"
Everyone, busy with their own tasks, turned around and noticed Timmy.
Betty whispered in Nick's ear "Isn't this the same boy who made Jimmy explode with anger that day?"
Nick answered "Yes, I think it is, then why should I even care?"
Miros immediately recognized him when he looked at Timmy's facial features and thought ...Gh...it is him,...Turner Despicable ...
"guys, nice to meet you again, hey libby how are things going with your music and how are you and Sheen?"
Libby spat and walked away muttering "I'm fine, but as for Sheen, no one knows"
Timmy asked, staring at Miros strangely "Why? Where is Sheen?" Libby ignored his question and looked away angrily, unable to bear the thought of losing her boyfriend any longer.
Nick was sitting to Betty's left on the couch and Jimmy was lying unconscious next to her on her right. And Timmy thought as he was staring at Jimmy and Betty...eh, That pretty girl who was flirting with him, I wonder if Jimmy and Cindy are together now...
Timmy's gaze shifted to Cindy and he smiled at her "It's been a long time...Cindy, If you're not busy now, So..."
"don't have time, I'm focusing on something now" Then she looked away, remained silent.
Timmy blinked and then said nervously "I just...eh..can I help you? What's wrong with Neutron?"
Out of her anxiety, Cindy ignored his question and remained silent, looked down angrily and Her hand turned into a fist was trembling, this made Timmy worried, and he thought...What's wrong with her?... It can't be that she's-...No... This is just a silly idea... But... But why the hell is she worried about Jimmy, this much?...
"Miros, can you explain to him, I just..." Cindy sighed and walked away to start examining Jimmy's inventions. There might be some antidote or device that will restore him to normal.
"Nice to meet you, Miros" Timmy said
Miros didn't even smile at him and started explaining to him the state Jimmy had reached.
The gang gathered in Jimmy's backyard, trying to enjoy a moment of respite with glasses of lemonade in hand. Despite the sunny day, a cloud of worry hung over them. Cindy was particularly lost in her thoughts, her mind racing with ideas on how to get Jimmy back to his normal self. Ever since Jimmy's unfortunate experiment went awry, transforming him into a much more reckless version of himself, everyone had been on edge.
"That's it, so, I know Jimmy is your friend, guys, but why don't you leave it to his parents?" Timmy
Nick, growing impatient and bored, chimed in, "Yeah! Why do we stress ourselves like this? It's Neutron's problem, so let him fix it himself. Maybe it's all just a pretense, and he might actually be his true nature, just playing tricks on us"
Libby realized that Nick didn't really care and said annoyed, "Just pretending?, So that means that the destructive power he was releasing from his hands was just a trick too, huh?. Neutron, known as the hardworking student and science geek, has been sabotaging school. and With all your mental faculties, do you still believe this is Jimmy himself?"
On the other hand, Timmy Turner felt a strange sense of satisfaction with Jimmy's current predicament. He saw this as an opportunity to get closer to Cindy. True, he and Trixie were dating now, but not very much, and lately he had begun to notice that Trixie was no longer interested in him and was gradually pulling away.
Timmy nodded and said "Well I agree that he's just pretending, but about that weird power he's producing from his hands it might just be one of his inventions and about him destroying part of the school like you say it might be because his arrogance has risen to such an enormous level and he thinks he's such a genius that he doesn't need school to be successful"
Libby mocked "Really?, It seems like you know him better than us or have you become able to read his mind?" Then she screamed "But he wants to destroy my friend Cindy, does that seem like just a show from him?"
"Wait what? That means he's lost his mind, I would never let him hurt you, Cindy" Timmy said as he looked at Cindy who started to feel some interest from him and gave him a small smile but...
After a second, Cindy frowned and looked down and said sadly "Thanks, I think so"
"What I don't even understand is why Jimmy has an evil version of himself ?" Betty asked confused.
"And..., it might also be one of his failed inventions. He is the one who got himself into His problem, so he should solve it himself. As for us, we are not to blame at all" Timmy said in a funny way trying to convince Cindy of something.
"Come on guys don't be such idiots, maybe he just has a deep hatred for Cindy because she was so mean to him almost all the time, equation solved" Nick said, and he just wanted Betty to accept this and drop this case that was boring him.
Jimmy was still in the lab lying on the couch and was starting to regain consciousness.
Timmy broke the silence and just wanted Cindy to accept it. "Why don't we guys go hang out and play something to take our mind off this worry a little bit? And Cindy, you must be putting a lot of effort into problems that weren't even your fault. You deserve a break now"
Cindy smiled at him "That good but..." She frowned "No thanks"
Timmy leaned closer to Cindy, his eyes shining with a mix of concern and admiration. "You know, Cindy, you really are something special. I mean, who else could even come close to figuring out Jimmy's crazy inventions? You've always been the smartest and most determined person I know. It's really impressive"
Cindy blushed slightly, appreciating the compliment but still feeling the weight on her shoulders. "Timmy, That means a lot, but right now, we need to focus on Jimmy. He's in serious trouble"
Undeterred, Timmy continued, "You're amazing, Cindy. Anyone else would have given up by now, but not you. You have the brains and the guts to handle anything" He smiled gently, hoping to ease her stress.
For a moment, Cindy felt flattered by Timmy's concern. It was nice to be recognized and appreciated, especially in times of crisis.
Libby said annoyed "Timmy that's enough we know you like Cindy, but it's very important to save Jimmy so he doesn't cause more trouble"
Cindy's smile faded when Libby reminded her of the situation. She looked confused and said, "Right... I guess I'll go... Um... No one's following me. I need to think on my own." Cindy decided to go back to the lab. She stood up and walked away.
Timmy called after her "We depend on you what would we do without you to fix Neutron's problems"
Cindy slowly turns to give him a fake smile, Then I went to the club
"Someone's trying to steal Cindy from Jimmy again," Libby scoffed. and the group turned their eyes to Timmy.
They gave him dirty looks and Timmy, sweating, denied it "I don't mean that, Libby. I'm just telling the truth and I trust and encourage Cindy"
Cindy froze in place and then started to slowly step back when she saw him "Oh, Great!, guys!..."
Jimmy was standing between her and the door. He had regained consciousness a few minutes ago, smiling. He was still under the control of his evil clone. They had done nothing but temporarily stop him.
The gang heard Cindy's alarm and approached her.
"You idiots could have kept Neutron bound" Nick said sarcastically, then Cindy stepped on his leg hard. He couldn't say anything else, except groan in pain and bite his lips.
"Alright, Neutron, think carefully before you take a step forward, I've been through worse" Timmy said, taking a fighting and defensive stance, trying to play the hero.
Jimmy was still smiling at Cindy fiercely and did not care about Timmy's words "A fool like you won't stop me from taking revenge, just shut your fucking mouth you little beaver, it's none of your business"
Cindy could only stare in concern because she had never seen Jimmy so harsh and so fierce in his speech.
"I don't know what you did to me and How did you get to this lab? but it doesn't matter because you're all just standing there, just idiots. Do you think you're going to save him like those happy endings in those silly cartoon movies?, Never!. That weak, naive Jimmy is gone forever" Jimmy said, raising his fist to ignite with a dark aura.
"Just answer this question, are you an evil clone of him that has merged with him to control him?" Libby asked, knowing she couldn't do anything but she wanted to at least know what really happened to Jimmy.
Jimmy answered simply "Well, that's right, what next, you want to be a hero now?, I warn you, that it's stupid to try because there's really no hope"
"Well it seems you've gone crazy and you really hate Cindy now, but when Timmy Turner is around I'll be sure to protect her at all costs" Timmy said, defending Cindy, and Jimmy kept smiling.
"Really?, I think your heroic performance would be better in front of your own beavers clan, that's more suitable for you than humans, because in reality you are nothing but a dirty human beaver" Jimmy mocked him with a smile and threatened him with the dark aura from his hands, if he really released it, This could kill Timmy instantly.
"At least this beaver you're talking about knows how to take care of girls better than some crazy, rude scientist out to destroy universe" Timmy replied, smiling at Cindy.
Timmy continued "Cindy, you deserve someone who appreciates your intelligence and beauty. Someone who wouldn't put universe at risk." He glanced at Jimmy, smirking "Unlike certain geniuses we know"
Jimmy's smile remained fixed "You think you can provoke me, Turner?"
Timmy persisted "Come on, Cindy, Just let's go this idiot doesn't want you to fix his mind. You need someone who respects you and values you, not someone who gets lost in their inventions, one of which is why he is so disgusting now"
Jimmy's smile turned to sarcasm. "Then? Where to, Turner?"
Timmy gave Jimmy a sarcastic look and grabbed Cindy's hand and pulled her away with him. To get away.
Cindy was hesitant and as she turned to look at how Jimmy really felt about this, but Jimmy was still smiling and this was due to the influence of his evil clone and in fact if Jimmy hadn't separated himself from all his clones since the first time with one of his inventions, Jimmy wouldn't have fallen in love with Cindy early after all the mockery and insults he received from her.
"Look, he's gone" Timmy said, walking away with a hesitant Cindy. "You have to move on" Then he said loud enough for Jimmy to hear from a distance, "Don't stress yourself out over this arrogant genius. So where are we going, Cindy?" But Timmy's attempts to make Jimmy jealous were completely unsuccessful because Jimmy's smile remained stuck and he was indifferent.
This made Cindy completely confused. thought...No...It can't really be him, he's just an evil clone controlling him, I know the real Jimmy likes me and he's confessed it to me, I...I...She closed her eyes and remembered the last time she tried to use Timmy to make Jimmy jealous... don't want to be an idiot again...
And before they disappeared from sight, Cindy suddenly squeezed his hand and stopped walking. Timmy almost stumbled "Woah!.."
