Happy 3rd Anniversary to The Loud House movie!

This takes place during the days restoring Loch Loud from Morag's destruction. A little moment between the goths of the family.

Enjoy!

Rebuilding the town took a while to get accomplished. In addition to the town needing a lot of fixing up to begin with, Morag using Lela to wreck it twice made it worse. Thankfully, the town was able to make progress with rebuilding and fixing up the buildings, roads, and more across the town, led by Angus and both generations of Louds from the present day and afterlife. It helped that Morag had been banished to the island

"Bring that beam over here!" called Lana as Lanelle and Lolette levitated a metal beam over to a construction structure for the hospital.

"Roof tiles, coming up now!" said Lynn as she climbed up a ladder to the top of Mrs. Turnberry's house with a bag of shingles on her back.

"These new curtains for the salon look totes fabulous!" said Leni, hanging said curtains up.

"I couldn't agree more!" said Scott, hanging similar curtains on the window next to Leni.

Lela flew in, hauling more supplies. Angus was on board the large dragon.

"Steady as she goes, Lela!" Angus said as they flew down to the ground. "Got more building supplies! Wood, bricks, and solar panels straight from Glascow!"

"Solar… panels?" questioned Lenielle.

"Some of the residents wish to use solar energy," said Lisa. "Street term 'Going Green.'"

"I do wish to learn more about that." said Lisabeth, flying past her lookalike with a hammer.

At the top of the conjoined Fish and Chip Shoppes, Lucy and Lucille sat on the roofs having a water break.

"Sigh. I haven't done this much construction work since we opened up Dad's restaurant back in Royal Woods." Lucy said.

"Ah yes. I've heard your father tell my father about it." said Lucille. "Lynn's Table. Simple name for a semi-simple man."

"All the same, it is worth it for a town I've come to enjoy as much as I enjoy Royal Woods." Lucy went on. "It feels more normal to me. It's like a home for the supernatural among the living."

"Aye I can see that." said Lucille. "There's another similar town like this one down in Mexico. If I recall, it was called Japunda. But instead of ghosts and dragons, it had gods and demigods."

"Sounds amazing. We must go there someday. I'll have to ask our friends in the Casagrande family if they know anything about it next time we meet." said Lucy. "But here, this place was no doubt our best vacation so far in our lives. Meeting you and the rest of our ancestors, discovering our royal heritage, and defeating an insane woman blinded by her need for tranquility."

"And I and my family are ever so grateful that you have, Cousin." said Lucille. "Our legacy has been restored."

"I suppose life won't always be doom and gloom." Lucy murmured. "Sure, it has it's futile moments, but I will admit, there will always be the better moments within it before ascending to the afterlife."

Lucille looked at her descendant. "I get why you yearn for such a thing Lucy. But don't wish to be so similar to me just yet, especially as a spirit." she said. "You and your whole family nearly met an early end in one of the worst ways possible."

Lucy shuddered. "One of many times I was ever truly scared." she muttered. "I honestly thought we were all gonna die."

"That's why I rushed back to the afterlife to retrieve my siblings and parents." Lucille said. "I knew we needed extra help since Morag had a powerful and strong Lela under her control. But Lincoln managed to stop your early demise."

Lucy managed to smile as she looked down at Lincoln, who, along with Lochland, was helping the townsfolk rebuild the stone bridge. "And that, I will always be thankful for." she said. "Lincoln truly is the best brother a girl like me could ever ask for."

Lucille smiled. "I can see why." she said. "He is very brave when fighting for his family. I know we all had to be like that during the times when my father and then my brother were in charge."

The two sipped their waters.

"I am glad that a lot of what I experienced this week proved to be real after all." said Lucy. "Most back home don't believe in stuff I enjoy; ghosts, magic, vampires, zombies. Lincoln and Clyde believe in ghosts, as do some members of Ronnie Anne and Bobby's family."

"Aye the magic is all too real." said Lucille. "Even dating back to my time alive. I hear from your family that you've tried to dabble in magic spells before."

Lucy nodded with a creak in her neck. "Yes I have. Before I got my own, I had a spellbook that I found in an old chest in the attic. It belonged to another late relative in our family." she said, pulling out said book. "It belonged to my Great-Grandma Harriet."

She pulled out a photo of Harriet. Lucille was taken aback.

"Whoa. She looked exactly like you and me." she said. "But older, and some slight wrinkles, and some clothing from what looked like… the early 19th century?"

"You are correct." Lucy said. "She was the only relative outside my generation I was close to. We both shared a love of the macabre, supernatural, and dark arts. And I tried to use her book to get back at my family for stepping over me for days."

Lucille frowned. "Ah yes, you told me about how you often felt invisible among your siblings." she said. "However Lucy… using such magic is a big responsibility." she added. "How praytell… did you use it?"

Lucy winced. "I tried to use spells to give them a hard time; dead phone, itchy butt, sticky skin, and losing their voices."

Lucille frowned. "I can understand the first three… but the fourth one was too far." she said.

"Sigh." Lucy said in guilt. "It's true. And when I realized that, I wanted to make things right. I was willing to give up my own voice."

Lucille was taken aback. "Whoa. I didn't expect you to do that." she said.

"But I didn't need to after all." Lucy revealed. "Turns out, the spells didn't work. The first three were actually caused by a dead battery, poison ivy, and one of Lisa's experiments. As for their voices, they lost them cheering so loudly at Pop-Pop's game."

"Oh I see now." Lucille said. "So Harriet's book didn't work after all?"

"Perhaps. Or perhaps I wasn't as good at magic as I thought." Lucy said. "But even then, I do regret trying to use it on them like that. I should've just spoken to them about it. Guess it's hard living the spooky life amongst the normal people."

Lucille patted her descendant's back. "Not many understand us." she said. "We are different among our peers in both generations. But trying to force them to our desires won't bring us any kind of joy in life, even if we aren't ones for the 'normal' joy."

"I get what you're saying." said Lucy.

"I lived a long life Lucy." Lucille went on. "Life isn't always easy, whether you're a dark lover like us, or a relatively normal person like the others in our family. However, that doesn't mean we can't enjoy what it brings to us. Family, friends, food, education, a roof over our heads, and entertainment."

Lucy smiled. "That is true. I do enjoy regular stuff. Certain television shows, the beach, carnivals, and many other activities with my family." she said.

"The darkness and the various things that come with it will always be a part of us." said Lucille. "As long as we don't stray away from the right path in life and focus on what matters. We don't need magic and the futility of life in general to make us, well, our own version of happy."

"I couldn't agree more, Lucille. Thank you." Lucy smiled.

"Anytime, Lucy." Lucille replied, her mouth creaking into a smile. "Just remember in the future, if you ever do master magic spells from a spell book, whether it's yours, Harriet's, or anyone else's like a member of your club, be careful with how you use them. Or anything from the dark arts in general. We let it control our life - or afterlife - it won't turn out well in the end."

"I will do my best." promised Lucy. "I may struggle to remember that though."

"You're only 8, almost 9." said Lucille. "Just remember to listen to those that guide you, your family, your friends, and even reasonable authority figures. Just because we're dark and spooky, doesn't mean we're heartless and evil."

"I always make sure of that. Even I need a break from the darkness sometimes." said Lucy.

"Ah yes, you mentioned Princess Pony to me." nodded Lucille. "While I may never understand it myself, I respect why you read it. Everyone needs their limits. Even me, both in life and death."

"Ha ha. Ha ha. Ha ha." they both laughed together.

"Hey Lucy! Lucille!"

The goths looked down to see Lincoln and Angus down below them. It had been their relative who spoke.

"You done with your water break?" asked Lincoln. "We need some extra hands to repair the Loud Music Shop!" he added, gesturing to where Luna, Lunake, Mrs. Scroggins, and Mrs. Turnberry working on said repairs to the shop.

"And some more ghostly energy to lift up that bell into the tower." added Angus, gesturing to where Lynn Sr. and the Bell Ringer were polishing the repaired bell.

"Back to work I guess." said Lucy.

"Look on the bright side, Cousin." said Lucille. "The worst seems to be behind you and your family now that Morag is no longer a threat."

"I suppose you are correct." said Lucy, managing another smile.

And Lucille carried Lucy across the town so they would reach the spots that needed their assistance.

But unbeknownst to the two goths, their family, and their friends and associates of Loch Loud, someone had been watching them in the shadows. A tall, lanky figure was writing down stuff in a notebook before looking at the town with a sinister grin.

"That may be true Lucille… but the Louds aren't out of the woods yet…" Fifi Dufus smirked. "I will succeed where Morag failed. And I will get my revenge against Agent 28 in the process… both Royal Woods, Loch Loud, and even Great Lakes City will be rid of this pathetic family once and for all…"

And Fifi ran out towards a black van.

"Pedal to the metal Tony, we gotta catch that ferry!" Fifi yelled as she got on board.

And the van drove away down the road. No one in Loch Loud, living or ghost, suspected a thing.
