Chapter 364 The Descent Of The Malevolent God

Immediately after the Dazzling Spell came the Curse of Conjunctivitis. Following a brief dizziness, the dragon felt a deep pain in its eyes. It closed its eyes and tried to roll its body to alleviate the pain.

But alas, it had no strength whatsoever.

The dragon roared reluctantly. Its enormous body, weighing several tons, fell to the ground, crushing the slabs and spewing flame in a mushroom shape from its mouth.

The dark green scales shimmered, and the entire Temple of the Moon trembled.

Though Evan's magical power was far beyond the imagination of ordinary people, the dragon's mighty magical resistance made his magic instantly ineffective. It swiftly flapped its broken wing, struggling to rise from the shattered ground, and its inner rage grew even fiercer.

It was absolutely unacceptable to be played by two tiny ants consecutively.

"Attack his eyes; that's where the dragon's defense is weakest," Evan shouted to Okegiga in front of him, rapidly descending from the air.

Okegiga shouted loudly, and his heels fell heavily on the dragon's back, relentlessly, ignoring the fact that his body was being scratched by the spikes on the dragon's body.

He ran forward over the sharp spiky armor of the dragon as if on a hill of knives.

The Centaur advanced, aiming his long lance at the dragon's right eye that had just raised its body; he fiercely stabbed it, and a large amount of dragon blood gushed out.

Okegiga continued with all his might, then ran, his entire body pressed onto the lance in his hand, numerous veins bulging in his sturdy arms, his blue veins pulsating violently.

His long lance pierced the dragon's right eye and cleaved through its body from the center.

The ferocious attack made the dragon roar again, louder than ever.

It wildly shook its enormous head and tried to throw the Centaur away from its body.

Against its immense power, Okegiga was like a solitary ship in a furious storm.

Yet, he did not loosen his grip, gritted his teeth, did his utmost to hold onto his lance, and kept it steady, while the dragon's head thrashed violently in the air.

The mighty Centaur managed to persist, but under such force, Evan, who was seated on Okegiga, failed to maintain balance at all.

Once more, in an upward motion, he finally lost his grip and released the Centaur's back.

His body was thrown from above, beneath which was the dragon's fierce mouth.

If he fell that way, he would either be swallowed alive by the dragon or turned into a meat pie.

Evan had no time to ponder such a fate, as the battle was at its peak.

He held his breath, waved his wand, tracing a complex pattern in the air, and a white light as dense as the Dazzling Spell he had just used emerged from the tip of his wand.

Like throwing a javelin, Evan hurled the curse at the dragon's other eye.

BOOM!

Under the impact of Evan's curse, the dragon fell.

It also emitted a wrenching roar, with a wail in its voice. Its wing and eyes had been severely damaged, and it was forced to retreat.

It was impossible for it to continue, and its movements gradually slowed.

Okegiga seized the opportunity, firmly gripped his long lance, and forcefully extracted the dragon's fiery yellow eye. Grasping the long lance with both hands, he aimed downward, bloodshot eyes fixed on the dragon's black scales, and slid straight down.

The dragon lamented, with both eye sockets oozing blood. Its gigantic mouth could no longer even spew flames, and its enormous body was collapsing, seeming like it could fall completely at any moment.

This was undeniably the bloodiest and most tragic dragon sacrifice in history. A mighty dragon at the top of the food chain was dying at the hands of its supposed prey.

Throughout history, it was known that only the strongest wizards could conquer and kill the fire dragon, but this rule was destined to be broken today. A 12-year-old wizard and a Centaur joined forces to achieve this miracle that would astonish the Magical World.

Evan fell from the sky, and Okegiga, who had accomplished the feat of killing the dragon, leaped to catch him.

The Centaur's body was marked and bloodied, in some places even singed by flames, not a single inch of his body could be seen intact.

Before Evan could breathe a sigh of relief, he saw a large number of Centaurs crawling to pray before the statue of the evil god on the deep platform ahead, seemingly indifferent to the nearby battle.

As they moved, the blue and black clouds grew denser and lower, swirling in a pattern to form a vortex, one that seemed like something was about to emerge from it.

Above the huge statue, the Philosopher's Stone left by Gryffindor glowed in red.

Visible magical waves emanated from the Philosopher's Stone, forming a path of red light that slowly descended and merged into the statue of the evil god.

The air pressure at the temple's peak decreased even further, a precursor to an imminent storm. The ancient powerful atmosphere was brimming with pressure. It was overwhelming, and everyone gasped for breath.

"NO, his magic is about to succeed, we have to..." Evan shouted.

Without hesitation, Okegiga lunged forward again, dragging his marked body. Evan cast several successive spells, hoping to prevent the summoning ceremony from continuing.

But the stargazing Centaurs in front of him seemed to have been petrified. They did not dodge the spells attacking them, allowing Evan and Okegiga to strike.

Their faces were expressionless, their eyes flashing with a crazed light.

Evan's heart sank immediately, his sense of unease growing more intense, and the scene before him was too bizarre. These Centaurs had lost themselves to this creature!

"You are late, Okegiga!" Slowly said an old Centaur who had been knocked down, "Prepare to surrender, the great presence has arrived..."

His voice barely finished, and suddenly the enormous statue of the evil god in front of him came to life!

Centered on the statue, an imposing figure began to materialize out of nothing.

A great amount of flesh and blood accumulated at the temple's peak began to rise and float towards it; even the body of the dragon that had just been slain by Evan and Okegiga was among them.

Evan gazed with astonishment at the evil taking shape. It was like a Gillyweed enlarged numerous times, or like a tree root with countless branches.

It floated slowly in the air, with much flesh and blood drifting towards it, gradually forming a massive cloud-like mass... of flesh.

The flesh was covered with green, irregular, and wrinkled skin that resembled bark and scales of some strange creature.

The huge mouth in the center, covered with green mucus, was filled with black fangs. Moreover, there were many other mouths around its body, all in different shapes.

Higher up, two disproportionate eyes were at the most extreme edges of the black flesh. The red eyeballs swirled inside and gazed forward languidly.

Below, countless tentacles stretched out, each adorned with a mouth of fangs, an eye, or a blade-like claw at its edge.
