Sisters Divided – Part 25:

"Have you ever heard of a prophecy about a wizard and a witch who, together, had the power to change the world?" Grindelwald asked his Acolyte as he watched her.

Carrow had to think hard for a minute before she finally nodded.

"I am going to assume that you have found the witch… I have heard you and Rosier whispering a lot since Goldstein was brought here," she said and Grindelwald's eyes turned into a sea of coldness as he watched her.

"You should have told one of us. That information in the wrong hands is dangerous," Grindelwald said. "When did you finally complete the jigsaw puzzle?"

"At the election. Rosier was not the only one to notice the sudden actions of Goldstein… Flora… that appeared linked to what appeared between you and Dumbledore. It was not my place to say so I did not say anything."

Grindelwald sighed. In some ways Carrow knowing could help himself and Vinda but she wasn't Vinda at the same time and that was something he wanted to have to think about but he was at that point.

"Who have you told?"

"Nobody. I'm not stupid and know there must be some risk involved as you're taking every measure you can to keep her safe."

"She is neither on our side or theirs. She's in the middle of both sides, fighting for a better world herself, her beliefs. She just doesn't know any of this," Grindelwald said. "She doesn't know about the prophecy and that is the way I wish it to remain. She's… experiencing a few emotions and firsts right now and that is enough for her to be feeling."

Carrow nodded and said that she wouldn't tell anyone before she bowed her head and left. Grindelwald then felt for Flora's presence in the Castle and couldn't feel it so he tapped into his mind to find her. He then was surprised to find it in France and then realised that maybe Vinda had taken her there for some reason. He wanted to go after her but knew that he could possibly put Flora in danger and he didn't want that so all he could do was wait.

Vinda had taken Flora to Paris to get her some clothes for the rallies. Flora had already stated that she was not going to wear green so Vinda had seen some pretty coloured dresses in France so she was there with Flora.

Flora herself was stood in front of the mirror as Vinda and the dressmaker spoke in French. She looked at herself in the mirror and could tell something had changed within her. She was almost glowing and that wasn't going unnoticed by Vinda. She'd been discussing colours for dresses, skirts and shirts for Flora

"Why do this Vinda?" Flora asked. "I already have clothes like this…"

"Because you need to be you and, yet, Gellert's lover at the same time and that will be known in time. But you are also you… your own witch. I can give you clothes that show all that in many colours," she smirked and Flora looked at her in the mirror before being told that she could dress again and she nodded.

Whilst the clothes were being tailored, by hand, Vinda had taken Flora to a café and the two were sat having a coffee.

"I feel like I'm sat with my mother and about to get told off somehow…"

"You are not. I felt what was happening in the Castle between the both of you," Vinda said. "I fear I am tied to this through my oath to protect you. You two belong to each other but I swore to protect you and I suspect that is why I can feel everything. You and I and Gellert have a part to play in what is to come but that will only be revealed when the time comes."

"Why would you even do that? I am nothing to you and you didn't know me when I arrived," Flora said as she looked at the witch.

"Because you were there because Gellert was after you. He wouldn't say why but I was to protect you. He loves to test my loyalty and this was another way for me to prove it." The French witch watched Flora to see what her reaction would be as she processed her words.

Flora didn't have any words. There were a lot of emotions swirling around her mind and she could somehow feel Grindelwald in her head making sure that she was OK and safe. She wanted to get back to him but knew she had to wait.

Some cake was placed in front of her and she began to eat it. She had had a long morning and she was glad to eat it as she felt a little dizzy but was hiding it.

"Thank you, Vinda," Flora said as she ate the cake. "It has been a whirlwind of a day… night… how did you know?"

"Research. No man has ever been mentioned with your name so I knew that last night must have been your first…"

"I don't want Gellert knowing. He will find out from me when he figures it out or I decide to tell him," Flora said and Vinda nodded, wanting to respect Flora's wishes as she needed to keep the witch onside and trusting her.

The two headed back to get Flora's clothes and it wasn't too much longer and Grindelwald had Flora back in his arms and he kissed her, not caring who knew and he held her close to him. She kissed him back as they stood in the middle of the courtyard and she breathed in his scent. Now the previous night had happened the connection was different but she still wanted to be in his arms and she allowed him to scoop her into his arms and carry her inside.

"I'm fine, Gellert," Flora said as she rested a hand on his cheek as they were sat by the fireplace in sitting room. It had been the first place that Grindelwald could reach.

"I had no idea that Vinda was going to take you out of the Castle…"

"She wanted to get me some outfits for the rallies in case I come," Flora said. "I know about her oath to protect me. I can understand as well…"

"Do stop speaking…" Grindelwald said before he kissed her softly. "Now what are you going to do?" he smirked before Flora moved to kiss him, needing to feel his lips on hers once more and it was heaven now.
