Marvel: From the Void and Back Again, Part 2
Chapter 5: The Creed Family of Universe-15, Part 2
…
That morning, Nick Fury arrived on the scene, his presence commanding immediate attention. Peter-Knull, alongside their allies, had already been briefed on the situation by Cap and the others. Peter-Knull had deployed his symbiotes on patrols around several areas, particularly focusing on Grey-Sim's and any other symbiotes in the vicinity. With their hive collective, any information they gathered would eventually reach him, but they needed to explore other avenues in the meantime.
Reed Richards, always thinking ahead, stepped forward with a suggestion. "I can use a device to scan for the children using the unique frequency that the Peter variant and Victoria Creed resonate. Since they come from different universes, their children will have a distinct frequency."
He began typing commands into his console, bringing up an image of Earth and the Moon on the screen. "From there, I can make a few adjustments to my device to pick up their unique frequency," Reed explained. He continued to work, connecting his scanner to a secondary project.
As he scanned the immediate area, the results were empty. "There's no signal here," Reed noted. "Which makes sense, given that the environment would kill Sinister without protection since we released the Sinister cure shortly after Peter-Knull's arrival."
Reed expanded the search to other worlds within a few solar systems. The scanner's readings pinged with a match, and Reed's face lit up with realization. "I've found them," he announced, pointing to the screen where six distinct signals pulsed.
The source of the signals was a city-world under the control of the Kree Empire: Hala. The densely populated, technologically advanced world provided Sinister with the perfect cover to hide and conduct his experiments.
As the urgency of the situation became clear, the team quickly assembled to accompany Victoria Creed, the Peter variant, and their children to the Kree homeworld, specifically the city of Kree-Lar. Nick Fury, recognizing the complexities of the mission, decided to send Agent Hill and Captain Marvel along due to their familiarity with the Kree Empire and its intricacies.
"Captain Marvel, Agent Hill, you're with us," Fury commanded. "We're heading to Kree-Lar, and we'll need all the diplomacy we can muster. The Kree aren't very trustful of humans, and our presence will already raise some eyebrows."
As the team prepared to depart, Fury turned to Peter-Knull. "You'll be on standby," he instructed. "They still remember the incident with this universe's Knull, and your presence could either be a deterrent or provoke unwanted attention."
The team boarded the ship, with the Peter variant and Victoria Creed seated together, their children close by. Lycan, Nyx, and Ferra Parker-Creed were alert, their senses heightened by the gravity of the mission. Theron Parker-Creed, Selene Parker-Creed, and Draven Parker-Creed, who had just arrived, were being checked on by their parents and siblings, making sure they were ready for what lay ahead.
As the ship approached Kree-Lar, a communication link was established with the rulers of the Kree Empire. On the screen, Logan, Nick Fury, and Agent Hill faced the stern expressions of the Kree leaders.
"We understand this is a personal matter for the Peter variant and his family," the Kree leader began. "However, Kree-Lar is a densely populated city-world, and not everyone here will be welcoming of your presence. We must proceed with caution."
"We're fully aware of the risks," Fury responded, "But these are their children we're talking about. We need your cooperation to find Sinister and bring them home."
The Kree leader nodded solemnly. "We are committed to assisting you, but remember that tensions are high. Any misstep could lead to a diplomatic incident. Not everyone is happy with your visit, and some may see this as an invasion."
"Understood," Captain Marvel interjected. "We'll be careful and respectful of your laws and customs. Our priority is finding the children and dealing with Sinister."
"Very well," the Kree leader concluded. "We will continue our search in the capital for Sinister and the children. Be vigilant and proceed with caution. The last thing we need is a diplomatic incident."
"Very well," the Kree leader concluded. "We will continue our search in the capital for Sinister and the children. Be vigilant and proceed with caution. The last thing we need is a diplomatic incident."
The ship landed smoothly on the launchpad, and the team disembarked, greeted by the vast, bustling cityscape of Kree-Lar. They were escorted to a high-tech building that served as their makeshift communication hub and temporary home. Logan, Laura, and Jean joined them, all settling into the guest diplomat quarters while they conducted their search.
Inside the building, the atmosphere was tense and restless. Reports and lists of contacts were exchanged between them and the Kree authorities, but the waiting was the hardest part. Savage-Lands Peter took a moment to comfort his wife, holding her close. Victoria relaxed in his embrace, her head resting on his shoulder as he wrapped his hands around her stomach, feeling the heartbeat of their unborn child.
"Everything will be alright," Peter whispered, his voice soothing. "We'll find them."
Victoria held onto him, taking strength from his presence. "I know," she replied, her voice determined but tinged with worry.
In the makeshift command center, Logan and Laura coordinated with the Kree authorities. Reports trickled in occasionally, each one adding a layer of frustration to the already tense situation. Jean, meanwhile, was trying to scan for Sinister, but it was almost as if he was blocking her somehow. The sheer number of people on the planet made it nearly impossible to pinpoint his exact location.
Over an hour later, a Kree official hurried in, his expression urgent. "We've uncovered something during one of our investigations," he announced. "A vial of blood was being auctioned off to the highest bidder offworld. We intercepted it just in time. The name on the label was... Orion Parker Creed?"
The reaction was immediate. Savage-Lands Peter and Victoria Creed growled in outrage, their children either growling or exchanging knowing looks, fully aware of the implications.
Logan, noting their reactions, asked, "Based on your reactions, I'm guessing Orion is special?"
Peter nodded, his expression grim. "He is... even among us. He's a lot like our world's Logan in terms of abilities. He doesn't have bone claws but claws on his fingers like his mother and his healing factor is off the charts. At one point, our Iron Man referenced that he's a medical miracle. In time, his healing factor could potentially rival Deadpool's."
Victoria added, her voice filled with a mix of pride and concern, "He's even shown signs of adapting to different types of damage over time. Though it's still too early to tell, he may one day reach the point where he cannot be killed the same exact way twice before his healing factor brings him back and he adapts he can even regrow his brain matter without any issue or memory loss."
Logan, Laura, and the others stopped what they were doing, staring at them in shock.
Logan was the first to speak, his voice low and serious. "That would mean...?"
Laura's eyes widened as she connected the dots. "Orion has the potential to be truly unkillable. He would just adapt to any death to the point where someone would just give up because nothing, they would do would work on him anymore."
Daken, who had been listening intently, added, "He'd outlast anything anyone tried throwing at him… and he'd eventually become unbeatable. Making him a prime target for anyone wanting to exploit that ability."
Peter-Knull, his expression dark, said, "That's why we need to find him and the others as quickly as possible. Sinister having access to Orion's abilities could spell disaster especially if he replicates his abilities and passes it onto others."
Over the course of another hour, the team focused intently on tracing the origin of the vial of blood. Papers and digital documents were spread across the tables, holographic manifests were projected in the air, and everyone was deep in concentration. The tension in the room was reaching its breaking point as they cross-referenced data, looking for any clue that could lead them to Sinister and the kidnapped children.
Suddenly, one of the Kree officials frowned at his screen. "This can't be right," he muttered, checking the data again. "The shipment was sent from one of the palaces in the royal court."
Heads turned, and a hush fell over the room. The official quickly confirmed his findings with his colleagues. "Yes, it was definitely sent from a palace. Specifically, from the residence of a particular member of the governance."
Nick Fury, his face a mask of disbelief, asked, "Are you sure about this?"
The Kree official nodded. "I'm certain. And there's more. This particular palace has foundations built on old research facilities."
Logan growled softly, resisting the urge to extend his claws at the audacity of sinister. "How deep does this go?"
Victoria Creed, her eyes flashing with anger and worry, added, "If those facilities are still operational, they could be using them to hold our children and conduct their experiments."
Peter-Knull's expression was dark and determined. "We need to get in there and find out what's really going on."
Tony Stark, who had been analyzing the data, looked it up. "This complicates things. If the palace is involved, it means we're dealing with a level of corruption and secrecy that could make this mission a lot more dangerous."
Captain Marvel, her fists clenched, said, "We need to move fast and be prepared for anything. If Sinister has allies within the Kree royal court, we could be walking into a trap."
Nick Fury made a quick decision. "We'll coordinate with the Kree authorities. We need their support to access those facilities. But we'll proceed with extreme caution."
As the team started preparing for the next phase of their mission, the gravity of the situation settled over them. They were not just dealing with a rescue mission anymore—they were up against a conspiracy that reached the highest levels of Kree society.
The team arrived at the Kree palace, ready to present their evidence against the lesser-known leader they believed was involved in the conspiracy. As they made their case, detailing the origin of the vial of Orion's blood and its auction, Logan, Victoria Creed, and Savage-Lands Peter sensed something was amiss.
The Kree emperor, who was present to oversee the proceedings, exuded a familiar and unsettling scent that triggered alarm bells in Logan and Victoria. Peter's spider-sense was tingling intensely. There was an unmistakable presence, one they had encountered before—Sinister.
Logan leaned in closer to Victoria, his voice barely a whisper. "Something's off about the emperor. He smells like Sinister."
Victoria's eyes narrowed, her instincts on high alert. "You're right. It's his scent, but masked. Sinister's here."
Peter-Knull, standing beside them, remained outwardly composed but internally on high alert. "If that's true, this could be a Sinister clone. We need to proceed with caution."
Logan, ever the strategist, quickly signaled the team to remain vigilant. "We need to expose this without causing a scene," he murmured.
Victoria nodded, her protective instincts flaring. "We'll need to draw him out without letting on that we know."
The Kree emperor cleared his throat, his expression carefully composed. "Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I will ensure a full investigation is conducted. For now..." He signaled his guards to arrest the accused leader, who appeared genuinely baffled by the evidence.
"Given the overwhelming evidence, I hereby order this official to be stripped of his title and his assets seized. The visitors will lead the Kree authorities into the old catacombs in the foundations to find these children."
As the proceedings concluded, Logan, Victoria, and Savage-Lands Peter stepped outside the hallway and turned to their team where they told them everything.
The team members processed the revelation with a mix of shock and determination.
Nick Fury clenched his jaw. "If the emperor's been cloned by Sinister, we're in deeper than we thought."
Carol Danvers, her fists glowing faintly with energy, said, "This complicates things. We can't just storm in without risking a diplomatic incident."
Agent Hill nodded. "We'll need to gather more intel and proceed with extreme caution."
Jean Grey frowned. "It makes sense why I couldn't detect him. Sinister's clones are adept at hiding their presence."
Laura and Logan exchanged grim looks. "We'll have to be ready for anything," Logan growled. "This won't be easy."
Victoria and Savage-Lands Peter steeled themselves. "We'll get our kids back," Peter said firmly. "No matter what it takes."
…
Nick Fury decided to stay behind with Agent Hill and Captain Marvel to investigate the Kree Emperor's replacement and promised to keep the team updated through encrypted channels.
As the rest of the team arrived at the palace built on old research facilities, Savage-Lands Peter and Victoria Creed sensed something was wrong. "If the Kree Emperor is a clone, why allow us to lead the investigation? This feels like a trap," Peter mused.
Victoria nodded, her eyes scanning their surroundings warily. "Sinister never does anything without a reason. We need to be extra cautious."
Logan growled, his senses on high alert. "Yeah, but we don't have a choice. The kids are down there."
Jean Grey, who had been silently following the conversation, added, "I'll try to use my telepathy to sense any immediate dangers, but with Sinister's technology, it might be difficult."
As they made their way deeper into the underground passage, the oppressive atmosphere of the catacombs began to weigh on them. The walls were lined with ancient Kree symbols and flickering lights that cast eerie shadows. The further they went, the more they could feel the tension rising.
Their Kree guide led them through winding corridors and past several heavy security doors. "This is where the old research facilities begin," the guide explained. "Be prepared for anything."
Savage-Lands Peter and Victoria Creed kept a close watch on their children, ensuring they stayed close and safe. Lycan, Nyx, Theron, Draven, Selene and Ferra mirrored their parents' wary expressions, their instincts sharpened by their feral upbringing.
"Stay alert," Peter whispered to his family. "This could get ugly fast."
As they reached a large, reinforced door, the guide input a series of codes, and the door slowly creaked open. The room beyond was filled with high-tech equipment and rows of cells, some still holding remnants of old experiments.
Suddenly, the lights flickered, and an alarm blared through the facility. "Intruders detected," a cold, mechanical voice announced.
"Of course," Logan muttered, his claws extending. "Sinister's playing us."
Peter, who had been silent, finally spoke up. "Stay focused. We need to find the kids and get out. We can deal with Sinister's trap after they're safe."
…
Ten minutes later, chaos reigned. Laura and Daken dodged a few buzz-saws as Logan clawed through a vibranium net that tried tangling him up. Each member of the Parker-Creed family displayed their unique abilities, their secondary mutations shining through.
Theron Parker-Creed transformed into a humanoid raptor, tearing into the robots with savage ferocity. He bit off a robot's head, crushing it between his powerful jaws.
Lycan Parker unleashed a sonic howl, blasting several robots off their feet and frying their systems.
Nyx Parker-Creed's skin turned into hardened metal akin to vibranium. A buzz-saw came at her, but she caught it in her hand, crushing the spinning blade and ripping the mechanical arm off with ease.
Finally, the team got control of the situation. Iron Man's fingers flew over his control panel, hacking into the facility's systems and shutting down the alarms and defenses. The cacophony of blaring sirens and flashing lights ceased abruptly, leaving an eerie silence in their wake. Jean Grey focused her mind, stretching her telepathic abilities to the limit.
"I've got them," Jean said, her voice strained but triumphant. "The children are close, just beyond that door."
The team moved quickly, following Jean's lead. They reached a large, reinforced door, and Logan's claws scraped across the metal as he prepared to force it open. Before he could act, Iron Man interfaced with the door's control panel, causing it to creak open slowly. Beyond the door lay a cavernous lab, filled with high-tech equipment and rows of cells, some still containing the remnants of old experiments.
Inside the lab, they found a horrifying sight. Five children were strapped to examination tables, surrounded by machines that were starting to heavily sedate them. Even in their groggy state, the children fought against the restraints, their bodies thrashing wildly. Vials filled with their blood, about five each, were being collected by the machines.
Without hesitation, Victoria Creed and Savage-Lands Peter rushed over, followed closely by their siblings. Victoria's eyes blazed with maternal fury as she worked to free the children from their restraints. Peter's hands moved deftly, disconnecting the machines and halting the blood collection.
"Rhea!" Victoria cried, pulling her daughter into a protective embrace. She quickly inspected Rhea for injuries, her eyes scanning every inch of her child with a mix of relief and worry.
Rhea clung to her mother, her small body trembling. "Mom, it was horrible... they tried to put us to sleep, but we fought it."
Victoria's eyes softened for a moment, filled with pride at her daughter's resilience. But the moment was short-lived. They quickly noticed that Orion was not among the rescued children.
"Where's Orion?" Peter demanded, his voice edged with panic.
Jarek Parker Creed, still groggy from the sedation, managed to snap to attention. "Sinister took him deeper into the labs," he said, his voice weak but determined. "I overheard him... Orion's healing factor is complicating his experiments. He's struggling to splice Orion's cells and clone him. Sinister was preparing to leave with him."
A sudden, gurgling cry of pain echoed from deeper within the facility, sending chills down their spines. Victoria and Peter exchanged a look of horror and dread—they recognized the sound of someone being grievously injured.
"That sounded like Orion," Victoria said, her voice tight with fear.
Without wasting a moment, the team charged through the door, with Iron Man ripping it open with his enhanced strength. The sight that greeted them was both enraging and heartbreaking. Orion was chained to a medical table, his jaw rapidly reforming as he glared hatefully at Sinister. The villain stood nearby, examining a sample with detached, unfeeling curiosity.
"What's your secret?" Sinister murmured, oblivious to the intruders. "What is it about your genetic code that makes you so unkillable and adaptable?"
Around him were jars containing various body parts—a hand, a piece of a liver, even a vertebra—all of which Orion had already regenerated.
The sight sent Logan, Daken, and Laura into a primal rage, their claws extending instinctively. For Victoria, Peter, and the rest of Orion's family, the scene was unbearable. They were seething with fury, ready to tear Sinister apart for what he had done to their loved one.
Sinister let out a sigh, a twisted smile forming on his lips. "You can kill me if you wish. Another clone will simply take my place. I've already gathered what I came for, even if it's not as much as I desired." His gaze shifted to Victoria Creed's pregnant belly, making her shiver and hold her stomach protectively.
Turning to the Peter variant, Sinister continued, "Yes, Peter, the reason my precious clone of the Kree Emperor allowed you down here was so I could gather data on your family's strengths and weaknesses. Merely for future observation, and you've all provided perfect insights for my future clones. Thank you for that—"
Before he could finish, three members of the Parker-Creed family along with Logan, Daken, and Laura swarmed him, their claws slashing through the air with lethal precision. They tore Sinister to pieces, leaving nothing but a bloodied, mangled mess. Meanwhile, the others worked to free Orion from the chains, his small body trembling as he clung to his mother and father.
Iron Man was already hacking into the facility's systems, shutting down any remaining defenses they might have missed. Logan didn't waste any time, contacting Fury.
"The Sinister clone is dead, and we've got the kids. We're heading out of this facility to the surface now," Logan said, his voice steady but urgent.
Fury's acknowledgment came swiftly. "Understood. We'll be ready for you on the surface. Proceed with caution."
…
Out on the surface, Nick Fury stood waiting, flanked by Agent Hill and a contingent of Kree guards. Logan immediately noticed the heightened security presence, the Kree soldiers keeping a vigilant watch.
Fury gestured to Iron Man, Logan, and Jean. "I need to talk to you in private," he said, nudging them toward a secluded area.
Once out of earshot, Fury's expression turned grim. "The Kree Emperor has been exposed as a clone. The fallout is still being felt, not just here but across the entire Kree Empire. After conducting our investigation, the Kree found the real Emperor in a casket in one of the drainage pipes. The discovery has thrown the governance into chaos. Parties are scrambling to regain control, and there's a lot of confusion and distrust."
Iron Man frowned. "So, the entire Kree leadership is destabilized?"
"Exactly," Fury confirmed. "We need to be cautious moving forward. This situation could get even more volatile."
Logan growled, his claws flexing instinctively. "What does this mean for our mission?"
"It means we need to move carefully," Jean said, her eyes narrowing in thought. "We have to ensure the children are safe and then figure out our next steps without causing more chaos."
Fury nodded. "We'll provide support and protection. But be prepared for anything. The Kree Empire is on edge, and we can't predict how they'll react to further disruptions."
The gravity of the situation wasn't lost on any of them. The Kree Empire was vast, and its destabilization would cause absolute chaos in the galaxy. The only good news was that the leadership agreed to put out a warrant for any Sinister clone, ensuring any clone within their boundaries would be arrested.
Fury suggested they take a breather after the ordeal in the catacombs. "This won't be fixed anytime soon. Take some time to rest. We need to be ready for whatever comes next."
…
Two days of intense efforts to stabilize the Kree Empire made it clear that the political and societal impacts of Sinister's meddling would take years to resolve. Despite their best efforts, the empire's sheer size meant immediate restoration was impossible. The Kree leadership agreed to keep communication channels open with Nick Fury, who had earned their trust by exposing the false emperor. The team knew their work wasn't done, but they were needed elsewhere.
After two exhausting days and nights, they boarded their ship and headed back to Earth. Sinister had caused a real mess, but the bright side was the successful rescue and reunion of the Parker-Creed family.
Upon arrival on Earth, the team disembarked, and the six new members of the Parker-Creed family began settling in. The atmosphere was a mix of relief and determination as they prepared for any future confrontations.
…
As the ship landed on the familiar grounds of the Avengers Compound, the Parker-Creed family stepped out, the weight of their ordeal still evident in their expressions. Peter and Victoria led their children down the ramp, their eyes scanning the surroundings as if expecting another threat to emerge.
already present, approached them with a nod. "Welcome back," he said, his tone serious but with a hint of warmth. "Let's get you all settled."
Rhea Parker-Creed, holding tightly onto her mother's hand, looked around with wide eyes. "Is this our new home?" she asked, her voice tinged with both curiosity and caution.
Victoria smiled down at her daughter, a mix of pride and sadness in her eyes. "For now, yes. We'll be safe here."
The group was led to their quarters, each room prepared meticulously by Stark's team. The rooms were designed to provide comfort and security, a stark contrast to the harsh environments they had endured.
Theron Parker-Creed, the oldest of the first set of triplets, looked around his new room with a mix of awe and caution. His secondary mutation still tingled under his skin, a reminder of the recent battles. "This feels... strange," he admitted, turning to his brother Kael, who was already inspecting a high-tech bow placed on his bed.
Meanwhile, Logan, Peter, and Victoria convened with Tony, Nick Fury, and Jean Grey. The weight of their recent mission weighing on them.
"We've done all we can for now," Fury said, his tone resigned but determined. "The Kree Empire will need time to heal. Our priority is making sure you all are safe and ready for whatever comes next."
Jean added, "We'll continue to monitor any Sinister activity. For now, focus on recovery."
Victoria nodded, her hand instinctively resting on her pregnant belly. "Thank you," she said, her voice filled with gratitude and resolve.
As the day turned into night, the Parker-Creed family slowly adjusted to their new surroundings. Until they could find a way back home, this would be their home for a while.
…
Later that day, Reed Richards was in his lab, carefully examining a blood sample from Orion Parker-Creed. His findings were unexpected but crucial. After extensive analysis, he discovered that Orion, along with his eleven siblings and potentially Victoria Creed's unborn child, had specific dietary needs that were unique to their origins in the Savage Lands.
Reed frowned as he reviewed the data. The composition of their blood revealed a dependence on certain proteins and nutrients found in dinosaur or large game meat, typical of the fauna from their home environment. Without these, their health could deteriorate, leading to potential complications given their unique physiology.
Reed promptly informed Tony Stark of his findings. "Tony, we need to address something critical regarding the dietary needs of Orion and his siblings. Their bodies require specific nutrients found in dinosaur meat or similar large game."
Tony raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued but also concerned. "Dinosaur meat, huh? That's not exactly available at the local supermarket."
Reed nodded, tapping his tablet. "Exactly. We need to synthesize this meat if we want to maintain their health and ensure they don't suffer any deficiencies. Given their enhanced healing factors and other mutations, this is not something we can overlook."
Tony sighed, already mentally calculating the resources and logistics required. "Alright, let's get to work on it. We can use the lab's advanced synthesizers to create a suitable substitute. I'll have our best people on it immediately."
Reed smiled, appreciating Tony's proactive approach. "Good. It's essential we do this right. Their well-being depends on it."
With that, Tony and Reed set their plan into motion, ensuring that the Parker-Creed family would have everything they needed to thrive in their new environment. The synthesis of dinosaur meat began, integrating the necessary nutrients and proteins tailored to the children's unique needs.
the lab buzzed with activity. Scientists worked around the clock, creating a synthetic meat that would mimic the dietary composition of the creatures from the Savage Lands. Samples were tested and adjusted until they reached the perfect balance.
When the first batch was ready, Tony personally delivered it to the Parker-Creed family. "Here it is, your custom-made dino steaks," he said with a grin.
Orion and his siblings eyed the food curiously but with an instinctive hunger. Victoria watched as her children eagerly took their first bites, relief washing over her as they ate with clear enjoyment. "Thank you, Tony," she said, her voice full of gratitude.
Tony nodded, his expression softening. "Just doing what needs to be done."
As the Parker-Creed children settled in, another situation arose concerning Tigra, whose pregnancy was progressing rapidly. Beast-Shade, her symbiotic partner, supported her as they headed to the infirmary where Victaranea and Jocasta were stationed. Tony excused himself, raising eyebrows among the Parker-Creed family. Reed Richards explained, "Peter-Knull's symbiotes can have children with other beings. So, don't be surprised if you see symbiotic hybrid kids running around."
Just then, Tigra's pained mewling was heard from the infirmary, followed by soothing words from Beast-Shade. This revelation was news to some of the Parker-Creed family. Orion, Rhea, and Lyra, the three youngest, had only heard stories from their parents about Peter-Knull before meeting him recently. Victoria Creed and Savage-Lands Peter had witnessed Peter-Knull's symbiotes in action, especially after the Knull incident. Hearing that his symbiotes could have children with other species made Peter whistle low. "Guess his symbiotes really are different from the ones we know of," he remarked.
The Parker-Creed family exchanged glances, digesting this new information. Victaranea and Jocasta's calm, efficient handling of Tigra's situation reassured them. Meanwhile, Reed continued handing out the meat to the family members taking it all in stride.
…
Jean, Logan, Laura, and Daken returned to the SHIELD apartment complex, where they gathered their mutant allies to share the news about the unique Peter variant from the Savage Lands. They explained that his wife, Victoria Creed, is a female variant of Victor Creed from another universe.
The mutants stared at them, dumbstruck. Finally, one of them broke the silence. "You're telling me there's a Spider-Man out there who...charmed a female variant of Sabretooth?!"
Logan nodded, his expression serious. "That's right. And their kids have inherited some unique abilities from both parents."
"What are they like?" another mutant asked, curiosity piqued.
Jean smiled and recounted the tale. "Victoria and Peter told us that Victoria was initially assigned to capture him and then take him out. After five attempts, where every time he flirted with her, he willingly let her take him hostage. Apparently, per her own words, things got heated between them after he had multiple chances to escape but didn't. Instead, he continued to charm her, and it worked in the end."
Laura chimed in, "He's got a thing for a woman like her. They have twelve kids...with one more on the way."
The room fell silent again as the mutants processed this information. The thought of a Spider-Man winning over a variant of Sabretooth and having a large family with her was almost too incredible to believe.
"How did he manage to charm someone like her?" one of them finally asked.
Daken shrugged. "According to Victoria, he just kept being himself. Persistent, charming, and completely fearless. I guess he saw something in her that others didn't."
Another mutant asked, "What are their kids like?"
Logan grinned. "A mix of their parents, that's for sure. They've got abilities from both sides—enhanced strength, healing factors, and some pretty unique secondary mutations. They're a tough bunch."
The mutants exchanged glances, clearly fascinated by the story. "I guess it just goes to show," one of them said thoughtfully, "that love can find a way in the most unexpected places."
A mutant hesitated before asking, "Is she... dangerous? Since she's a female equivalent of Victor Creed?"
Logan, anticipating the question, prepared his answer. "From what we can gather, she's a lot like Victor Creed. But when it comes to her family, and especially her love, she willingly puts her past rivalries aside. Based on her own words, this particular Peter variant manages to tame her inner animal."
The room fell silent as the mutants absorbed the information. Logan continued, "She's fiercely protective of her family. That makes her dangerous to anyone who threatens them, but she's not out to cause chaos."
Jean added, "It's clear that her love for Peter and their children has changed her. She's not just the female version of Victor Creed. She's Victoria Creed, and she's made her own path."
Laura nodded. "And that makes her one of the strongest allies we could have."
The mutants exchanged glances, understanding that the family dynamic was far more complex and powerful than they had initially thought.
With the initial questions addressed, Logan shifted to another critical piece of information. "We need to talk about their youngest, Orion Parker Creed. He has a healing factor similar to mine, but it's getting stronger and may one day surpass Deadpool's. He's also showing early signs of adapting to damage. Eventually, he might reach a point where he can't be killed the same way twice because his healing factor would bring him back stronger and based on our data, he can even regrow his brain matter without losing any memory since his memory is tied to his genetics in some way."
The room was silent as they processed the implications. Logan continued, "The part about him adapting is just a theory for now, but it's something to keep in mind as he gets older."
Logan then mentioned another unique ability within the Parker-Creed family. "Their fourth-born who's the oldest in a group of triplets, is named Theron Parker Creed, can transform into a humanoid raptor-like dinosaur. Don't be surprised if you see him in that form from time to time."
One of the mutants raised an eyebrow, "A humanoid raptor? That's... interesting."
Logan nodded. "Yeah, it's a lot to take in, but this family is full of surprises. Theron's transformation is powerful and adds a whole new dynamic to their abilities."
Jean added, "Theron's transformation and Orion's evolving healing factor mean they are uniquely equipped to handle threats. We should be prepared to support them as they adjust to our world."
The meeting concluded, giving the mutants time to process the information. Logan headed to his room, feeling the weight of recent events. He poured himself a drink and took a sip, reflecting on the drastic changes since Peter-Knull's arrival. The influx of multiverse variants, including the Parker-Creed family, added layers of complexity to their world. Logan's mind felt fried from the constant upheaval. He sighed, longing for some much-needed rest. As he settled into bed, the chaos of the past days lingered in his thoughts, but sleep eventually claimed him.
