This is my interpretation of how season eight episode two of Voltron plays out in the Kwamis and Lions verse. I made this story to add more insight into what I kind of have planned/thought out for when the season eight part of Kwamis and Lions Outro Arc happens. And I was inspired when I watched the episode as well. I hope you guys enjoy:)
Chapter 1: Lost
Honvera appears at Cruisers base. Her own son doesn't want to give her a chance. To prove she's changed. Sadness grips her heart, she knew Lotor would be mad, but not to this extreme. Not to not want to give her a chance, to make up for what she has done. What she put him though.
She knows really that nothing could make up for what she did as Haggar to him. But still she wants to try, to love him as the mother she should have been if it wasn't for quintessence poisoning. Which was a result of her obsession with the Rift overtaking her to such an extreme that became ill while pregnant. She doomed Zarkon's home planet as well by keeping that forsaken rift open. She falls down on her knees and starts weeping.
After wallowing in sorrow for what seems like hours she notices Kuro's lifeforce disappear. Her heart races that can't be possible. Standing up she goes through the transmission logs the Cruiser has recorded and what she hears breaks her heart.
Voltron and Lotor disappeared when they had to sacrifice the Castle of Lions to stop reality from collapsing in on itself. Changing the color of her skin she contacts one of Lotor's commanders.
" Commander Mars. Lotor and Voltron have disappeared due to a fight near planet Daibazzal. Find the Emperor and Voltron and make sure they are alright and can continue their duties in maintaining peace."
"Vrepit Sa." replies the Commander. The transmission then cuts out and Honerva once again collapses on the ground. What is she going to do? Lotor and Voltron are both lost somewhere in the wide expansive universe. How will she ever be able to find them?
