One evening at the Charles Xavier Institute, Logan was working on his motorcycle. It was one of his main occupations outside his role as teacher at the institute and X-Men.

As he serviced the bike, enjoying the tranquility of the surroundings, something disturbed the moment. A man arrived exhausted, falling in front of the motorcycle.

He was wearing a militaristic uniform. It consisted of black armor, with the orange symbol of the acronym "TVA" visible on the top of the chest armor. He wore a helmet with a black mask and orange visor. His black and orange suit was burnt.

This alerted Logan, who drew out his claws, ready to face any threat.

"Wait!" shouted the man in a rather youthful voice as he raised his hands, which intrigued Logan because of what he could see: claws identical to his own. "I... need... help..."

After saying this, the teenager collapsed to the ground, unconscious.

Logan approached him and removed his mask to see a teenager with the hairstyle of Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars 3.

The next day, Logan and Professor Charles Xavier observed the young man's condition as he lay on a medical bed.

"What the hell happened to him?" Logan asked, rather concerned that someone had the same powers and experienced the same things as he had.

"I don't know, Logan. So far I've never seen a mutant with the same powers as another. There are always small variations." Charles said, looking at the young man's claws. "I don't know how he got here.

"Can't you get inside his head to get the answers we're looking for?"

"Logan, you know I don't like to use my powers like that." Said Charles.

"He arrived here in combat gear, with adamantium claws protruding from his hands. There's nothing to say that Stryker didn't manage to recreate this experiment and send him undercover to kill us." Said Logan, explaining his reasoning. "And the name on that armor might suggest he's part of some kind of armed organization. If we don't determine his intentions as soon as possible, it could backfire on the whole institute."

This made Charles think: he had to admit Logan was right. It was too unlikely not to consider the possibility. So, despite his opposition, he decided to probe the young man's mind.

A few days later, the sound of a packed football stadium could be heard. Fans cheered and cheerleaders led the cheers.

"BBBAYVVILLE. Go Bayville! Yeah!"

"Blue 22! Blue 22! Come on! Come on!" Said the quarterback behind the line formed by his team.

The ball was thrown back to the quarterback. He took a few steps back, got out of the way of a tackle and started running towards the end zone. He continued to run and was tackled, but it didn't matter because he managed to reach the end zone and scored a touchdown for his team.

The crowd went wild as his team had just scored and was winning the game. A red-haired teenager approached and started taking pictures of the quarterback.

"Hi, Jean. Are these for the guest book?" He asked.

"No, Duncan. This one's for my personal collection." Jean replied.

There was then a good glimpse of the stands where Scott, a teenager wearing sunglasses with red lenses, could be seen fiddling with a coin while watching Jean and Duncan chat together as they returned to the sidelines. As they returned to the sidelines, two football players approached Duncan.

"Hey, look at that. Tolansky's at it again."

"Oh, man, that's amazing."

They looked toward the stands to see the one they were talking about, Tolansky, stealing someone's wallet, taking the money it contained and tossing the now-empty wallet behind him.

"Hey, Coach! Can we excuse ourselves for a minute?" Duncan asked.

The coach looks at them and then at the scoreboard and the score is 49-17. The coach looks at the players again.

"Yeah, yeah, hurry back." He replies, waving them off.

The football players put on their helmets and started walking toward where Tolansky was standing.

"It's gonna be great, man. Let's give him a party." Said the football trio, laughing.

Back at Scott, he was still playing with his coin. As he played with it, he dropped it and it went through a hole in the bleachers.

"Oh shit, my coin." Said Scott before seeing a hand come out of the stands and grab someone's wallet. "Hey, check this out. Looks like someone's taking up a collection." He said to his friend, the same young man Logan had discovered.

He was now wearing a gray T-shirt with a black jacket wrapped around his waist, and dark blue pants.

"This time, I'll take care of it." Said his friend, rising to his feet. "Did you attend the show?"

"Of course." Scott replied, rising to his feet.

Scott started walking up the bleachers, where Tolansky could be seen grabbing another wallet.

"I still have one. Hahaha. Wah!" Said he before suddenly being pulled and falling to the ground with money also falling on him.

"Well, if it isn't Tolansky coming to get some change." Duncan taunted.

"Uh... Hi Duncan. Uh, I can explain." Said Tolansky.

"Shut up, toadhead." Said Duncan, grabbing Tolansky and lifting him up by his shirt.

"Let's crush him, Dunc." Said one of the other two football players.

"Don't, Dunc." Said the teenager, drawing the attention of Tolansky and the three football players. "Calm down. The wallets are still there. What if we asked him to give the money back? No harm done?"

"Yeah, yeah. See? Uhhh. Here's the money." Said Tolansky, holding out the money in his hand.

"What do you care about this bastard, Lazarus?" Duncan asked.

"I don't give a damn about him." Laughed the teenager. "I do, however, have a problem with people like you."

"And what do you mean by that?" asked one of the other two footballers.

"Sportsmen who, because they're good at sports competitions, take the liberty of bullying people. You rely on your ephemeral popularity to be trash without suffering any consequences." Explained the teenager, gradually irritating the footballers. "Although Tolansky did deserve a little pressure, to stop his wallet-snatching spree. I think you're more deserving of a beating for picking on someone weaker than you. So get back out there and chase the ball, or take the risk of not being able to play against me anymore."

"He may be nicer than his father, but he's far from an angel." Scott added, trying to ease the tension.

"I think my buddies and I are going to teach that loser a lesson. So you can get lost." Duncan ordered.

Duncan threw Tolansky to the ground and was about to stomp on his face, but the teenager reached out, grabbed Duncan and threw him at his two friends, knocking them over.

"I warned you." He said.

Tolansky saw this as a chance to escape and jumped like a frog to safety behind the fence. The football players saw this and let go of Duncan in pursuit of Tolansky. Duncan falls face-first into the mud. Duncan looks up at the teenager.

"Big mistake, Lazarus." Said Duncan.

"Funny, I was about to say the same thing to you."

Duncan stood up and ran straight at the teenager and the two began to fight, the teenager clearly holding back his blows. Jean approached and saw what was going on.

"Deker! No !"

Distracted by someone calling his name, Deker looked at her and Duncan took the opportunity to deliver a blow to the jaw, which barely moved the teenager.

This only enraged Deker, who drew his claws out of his right hand for a few seconds before retracting them. This had the desired effect, frightening Duncan who was about to run away before Deker finally caught him and punched him, sending him flying into the stands, his helmet colliding violently with one of the boards.

The sound of the impact alerted people who came to see what was going on, taking just long enough for Scott, Deker and Jean to pretend to have just arrived to see what had made the noise.

Shortly afterwards, an ambulance arrived to attend to Duncan, while a handsome car pulled up close to the scene, its window rolled down, allowing Professor Charles Xavier to observe what was going on...

Jean can be seen approaching Deker.

"Do you realize what you've done? You could have killed him! Jean reproached him.

"He's alive, so everything's fine. And be happy for him, because if I'd listened to me, his career as a footballer would have ended sooner and permanently." Deker retorted as he walked away.

"I have to admit he's right. At least he made the effort to hold back for the first few hits." Scott conceded.

Jean and Scott watched Duncan as a policeman and an ambulance driver chatted with him. The paramedic removed Duncan's helmet.

"Calm down, boy. Try not to move." Said the paramedic.

"What happened to you, boy?" Asked the policeman.

"Ah, my head... I can't remember..." Duncan said, trying to remember what had put him in such a state.

"A concussion. He's been hit hard." Said the paramedic.

"Hmm... Looks like..." Began the policeman, but Professor Xavier used his powers to change his deduction. "You must have slipped and had a very bad fall, my boy."

Jean went to Duncan.

"Duncan... Are you all right?"

"Hi, Jean. Yeah, you know me, I've got a cast-iron skull." He said, tapping his head. "Ouch."

The paramedics take Duncan away on a stretcher. Tolansky then approaches Deker.

"Uh... Thanks. If it wasn't for you, I'd probably have been slaughtered." he says.

"Oh, it's nothing. A word of advice: don't steal in plain sight. From inside the stands is a good idea. But also reduce the pace. Less flying means less chance of getting caught." Said Deker, moving away.

"Uh... yeah." Tolansky replied, before using his tongue to swallow a fly.

"For the moment, the situation is under control. But we've got to hurry, we've got a train to catch." Charles said, still in the car.

The car started up and headed for the station.

A little later, the Professor and Storm were waiting for someone to get off the train. Then they saw someone getting off the train.

"Kurt?"

"It's not Kurt." The Professor replied, seeing a hooded person holding two bags. "That's him."

We then get a good look at a hooded person holding two bags.

The next day, two motorcycles could be seen pulling into a service station parking lot, each coming in an opposite direction. Logan and Deker took off their helmets and entered the gas station, Logan on the newspaper and looking at him.

"Trouble at home." Logan asked the teenager.

"Yeah, but I think it's just the beginning. And we're going to need your help for what lies ahead." Said Deker.

"Do you want this newspaper?" Asked the gas station owner.

"That's why I'm holding it. Two bottles of water too. Cold." Logan asked.

The owner pulls out two water battles and hands them to Logan. Logan hands one to Deker.

"It's hot for this time of year... Huh?" Said the owner, to make conversation.

Logan used his claws and cut the top off his water bottle, then drank the water and put the bottle back on the counter. Deker took a sip of his water and put the cap back on to save it for later.

"Ahh! Recycle that, will you?" Logan asked.

They both exited the store and got back on their bikes.

"How did you get to me so fast?" Logan asked.

"Nitro. But I used it all to get here as fast as I could."

"You're going to blow up your bike if you keep using that stuff." Logan grinned as they put their helmets back on.

"I had to get there fast enough to warn you. Besides, I've never ridden a motorcycle so fast, and I wanted to see what it felt like."

"So?"

"I loved it." Deker smiled, making Logan smile before they started their bikes and started heading home. While Dent de Sabre could be seen on a hill, watching the two of them with a growl.

Meanwhile, back at Xavier Manor, Scott could be seen knocking on a door.

"Are you coming, Jean? It's no use." He said.

"I'll be ready in a second." Said Jean as she brushed her hair.

"Come on, we're going to be late." Said Scott.

"I'm almost done!" Shouted Jean.

"Listen, do you want me to blow up..." Said Scott interrupting himself as Jean opened the door. "...this door."

"Well? Shall we?" She asked.

Jean and Scott descended the stairs and told the professor they were leaving.

"We're leaving, Professor." Scott said.

"Just a moment, you two." Said Professor Xavier. "Come over here. There's someone I'd like you to meet."

Jean and Scott walked over to where the professor was standing.

"This is Kurt Wangner. He arrived late last night." Charles said, introducing the hooded man.

"Hi, Kurt. This is Jean. I'm Scott. How are you?" Scott said amiably as Jean waved.

Scott reached out to shake her hand, but Kurt stepped back and stood next to the teacher.

"Kurt, you're surrounded only by friends here. Charles said.

Kurt then took his hand out of his coat pocket and shook Scott's hand.

"Hello." Kurt said shyly.

But Scott was caught off guard by Kurt's hand. It was blue and had only three fingers. Kurt saw the expression on Scott's face and quickly withdrew his hand, putting it back in his coat pocket. This caused the Charles to clear his throat.

"I was explaining to Kurt how I founded this institute for the gifted. Young people for whom their gifts are not always an advantage. Right, Scott?"

"Professor, I literally have a bazooka behind every pupil! What do you want me to do?"

"Control you. That's what you're supposed to learn here. Just like the rest of you. It's lucky that of the two of you, it was Deker who stepped in last night. If you'd lost your glasses, it would have been catastrophic." Charles says before turning to Kurt." Scott's eyes emit destructive optical bursts."

Kurt removes his hood and shows them a good glimpse of his face.

"So cool!"

"What about you, Kurt? Do you have a gift that justifies your presence among us?" Jean asked.

In response, Kurt teleported across the room, surprising Scott and Jean.

"Maybe..." He said, now more at ease with them.

"I'll help Kurt settle in. We'll talk about all this tonight." Said Charles.

At Bayville High School, Tolansky was sitting on a chair in front of the principal's office. The door opened and the principal called out to him.

"Mr. Tolansky." Principal Darkholme said.

Tolansky got up and entered. As he passes the principal, she can't help but smell the unpleasant odor of her student.

"Yuck. Excuse me a moment, I'm opening a window." She says before opening the window closest to her. "There. Now, Toad, can we talk about your new friend. Deker Lazarus?"

"To say what? He's cool. Without him, those jocks would have crushed my skull." Said Toad.

"Yes, well, Lazarus, as you've noticed, has special powers. There are others like him. Like Scott Summers." The headmistress pointed out.

"Really?"

"You've never wondered why Summers always wears sunglasses. We need to know more. A lot more."

At this point, Principal Darkholme was behind Toad, with a hand on his shoulder.

"Okay, look, I don't want to-"

"Quiet!" Darkholme ordered. "You'll do as you're told! Understood?!"

Toad turned and saw that the main Darkholme had transformed into some kind of big purple monstrous thing.

At Xavier Manor, Kurt entered a room with the Professor and Storm behind him.

"Wow... This room... is mine?" Kurt asked.

"Of course it is, Kurt. That's why your parents sent you to us. Because they knew you'd be happy here." Charles explained.

"Happy? How can I be happy when I look like this? I scare people." Said Kurt.

"Mm. I've got a surprise for you Kurt. Put this on." Charles said, taking out a watch and handing it to Kurt.

He put it on his wrist and changed into a version of himself that looked like a normal person.

"I don't believe it! I'm normal." Kurt said happily.

"Of course you're normal, Kurt, but not because of this machine." Said Storm.

"Storm's right, Kurt. You really are normal. Don't ever think you're not. It's just a disguise. A disguise so you won't be persecuted by those who don't understand your gifts." Charles clarified.

"I understand, Professor. But still, you're the strongest!" Kurt smiled.

Charles and Storm left the room and Kurt opened the box on his bed to see an X-Men uniform.

Later, the sound of the bell rang throughout the school, signifying that the lesson was over. Scott then walked to his locker, opened it and Toad leaned on the locker next to Scott.

"Hey, Summers. What's up?"

Toad hopped onto the lockers. Scott looked around to see if anyone had seen what Toad had done. Fortunately, no one was in the hallways because they were all in the cafeteria where lunch came out.

"That's quite a jump." he commented.

"I'm surprised you can see it with your sunglasses on. I'll fix it for you." Toad said before grabbing Scott's glasses with his very long tongue.

"Hey!"

"What's wrong, Summer? Are you afraid to open your eyes?" Toad asked.

"You seem to know as well as I do what would happen. Give me back my glasses before I nuke you." Said Scott, hiding his gaze behind his arms as eyes emmettait a red light visible under his arms.

"Here they are." Toad said before handing his glasses back to Scott, but now they were covered in Slim, which disgusted him but he had to put them on anyway to avoid damage. "As you can see, you and I have something in common."

"Yeah." He said, removing the slime from his glasses. "We're just as slimy as each other."

"No." Said Toad as he jumps out of the lockers and lands on the floor. "I mean, we're not like the others."

"What's your point?" Scott asked.

"I just want us to talk. Get to know each other better." Said Toad before using his tongue to grab Scott's lunch and he swallowed it whole. "Could we have lunch together?"

"I'll think about it." Said Scott as he pulled away.

"Sure, you think about it. Summers. I've got things to do." Said Toad before then jumping through the open window.

Xavier Manor, Professor Charles Xavier was in his wheelchair in front of a fireplace, reading a book, when suddenly an alarm went off. He moved towards the wall. The wall opened, and on the other side was a large computer. The teacher then pressed a few buttons and a flashing red dot could be seen at Bayville High School.

"Hmm. So, this is it. We're unmasking."

The sound of a telephone ringing was heard, and he pressed a button on his wheelchair, which answered the call.

"Hello, Scott."

"Gee, Professor, when you do that, it always surprises me." Said Scott from the phone.

"Sorry. What did you want?"

"There's one of the students who's a bit like us." Scott explained.

"Yes, Todd Tolansky." Said Charles.

"Do you know him?" Scott asked.

"Cerebro has located him. He must be using his powers openly now." Replied Charles.

"Maybe, but he's not the ideal roommate. He has to take a bath every six months, and then some!"

"We can't turn our backs on anyone, Scott. You know that." Charles retorted.

"That's right. Shall I take him home with us?"

"No need, Scott. I'll talk to you later." Said the professor, ending the call as Kurt, now wearing his X-Men uniform, approached.

"What's that thing? Professor?" Kurt asked.

"This 'thing' is the Cerebro. It detects the manifestation of special powers. That's how I found you." Charles explained.

"Is it one of ours?" Kurt asked as the screen showed Toad.

"That remains to be seen. Replied the professor. "Storm?"

Storm could be seen in her room using her powers to water the plants in her room, as she heard Charles' telepathic call.

"Yes, Professor?"

"I'd like you to audition someone."

It was now night at Xavier Manor. Toad could be seen just outside the mansion gates observing the height of the fence.

"Heheh. Piece of cake."

He jumped over the gate effortlessly and headed for the mansion while Storm stepped out in her X-Men uniform. She then flew into the air, while Toad was now hoping to make his way into the mansion when a shadow appeared above him. He looked up to see Storm in the air. Then clouds began to appear, as it began to rain.

"Wow. That's really creepy."

Lightning crashed beside him and he jumped out of the way to avoid being hit. Storm continued to send lightning in his direction as Toad leapt towards the mansion.

Inside the mansion, Kurt was descending the stairs. As he reached the bottom of the stairs, the window next to him opened and Toad crashed into Kurt, and they rolled backwards for a few seconds before pushing each other up, standing up again and starting to circle each other.

"Wow. What are you? Some kind of failed stuffed animal?" Toad asked.

Kurt sniffed the air and closed his nose with his hand.

"You can call me Nightcrawler. And I don't smell like rotten cheese." he retorted.

"You blue-furred monster!" Toad said, leaping at Kurt.

But he teleported to the big light hanging above.

"As you Americas, neener, neener, neener." Kurt taunted.

"That won't help you."

Toad jumped and Kurt jumped back, pushing Toad backwards and landing on a wall while Toad caught the light.

"You're so slow!" Kurt said before winking at him.

This made Toad growl, and he began to crawl before jumping up again to give chase.

"You couldn't catch flies on a windshield!"

"Fight like a man!" Toad declared.

Storm flew into the room through the same window as Toad. When she landed, the professor began talking to her.

"Yes, Tolansky has powers. He could join our group." Said the professor.

"Sometimes, Professor, I think your good heart blinds you even to the truth." Said Storm as she approaches him.

Then Kurt and Toad climbed down the walls, breaking things along the way.

"This way! This way! This way!" Kurt taunted.

"I'll rip that tail off you, you hairy gecko! Come here!" Toad shouted, as he and Kurt began to climb the stairs. "You're going to behave yourself... Come up here. Don't make me... You're beginning to tire me."

Toad then shot his tongue at Kurt but he dodged it and the tongue shattered a window.

"The test is over. Tolansky has the X-factor superpower. He is admitted to the group, if he wishes." Said Charles.

"The only thing I want to do is flatten that blue cockroach." Said Toad.

Toad jumps up and sticks his tongue out at Kurt. This time, his tongue wrapped around Kurt's arm. Toad then reached out to grab Kurt. This forced Kurt to let go of the Light he was holding and they began to fall.

But before they could touch the ground, Kurt teleported them into a new room before they both hit the floor.

"Wo sind wir?" German Kurt asked, wondering where they were.

"What are you talking about, you fool? And where have you brought us?" Toad asked.

"Huh! And I think I'm going to regret it!" Kurt said, showing Toad that machines were beginning to emerge from the wall and head their way.

At the same time, Jean and Scott could be seen getting dressed when the professor began talking to them telepathically.

"Scott! Jean! Nightcrawler and Toad have teleported to the Danger Room!"

"Oh, man, the Danger Room has automated defenses!" Said Scott.

"She's going to attack them with everything she's got!" Added Jean.

"Go for it! Now!" Ordered the professor.

Jean and Scott rushed to the Danger Room. Inside, Kurt and Toad were doing their best not to get killed.

"That was close!" Kurt said as Toad dodged too, screaming like a girl.

Just then, Scott and Jean arrived inside the room.

"I'll take care of the cannons. Keep them away from the tentacles." Scott said.

Jean nodded and flew off as Scott began firing his eye beams at the cannons, destroying them.

Kurt could be seen climbing a wall, but he didn't notice the claw coming up behind him. The claw headed straight for Kurt, but before it could touch him, Jean used her powers to lift him out of danger by telekinesis.

"You're an angel!" Kurt said.

"Sometimes." Jean laughed. "What about you? Are you a demon?"

Toad was about to be crushed between two walls, but that didn't happen, Scott having blown up the wall.

"Tolansky! Over here!"

Scott stepped aside with a cannon shot, then blasted him with his beams, destroying him.

Professor Xavier and Storm stepped out of an elevator, heading for the danger room controls.

"Level 1 security code: Priority X. Voiceprint: Charles Xavier." Charles says

"Confirmed. Closing in 5 seconds." Said a robotic voice.

"Ah, now I understand! This is a training area. Take a look." Said Kurt before teleporting to one of the cannons. "I just pull the plug and..."

The cannon began to go crazy and fire more often, hitting the ground in front of Scott and Toad, sending them flying backwards against a wall. Storm used his powers to destroy it with a wave of lightning. The room began to return to normal and all the weapons began to go into the walls.

"I've seen enough. I've seen enough. I'm off." Toad said before hopping away.

"Tolansky! Sorry, Professor. I couldn't stop him." Said Scott as he got to his feet, still a little stunned by the shot.

"It's all right. Cyclops. He wasn't ready to be one of us." Said Charles.

"I've messed up too, Professor, I'm sorry. You've been great, but I guess I don't belong here." Kurt said before teleporting away.

"Nightcrawler, wait!" Charles said in vain.

"Don't worry, Professor. I'll take care of it." Said Scott before heading off in search of Kurt.

Toad jumped out of the window and crossed a garden table in a panic. He rolled on the ground for a few seconds, then stopped and shook his head. Then he looked up to see Logan and Deker right in front of him.

Logan let out his claws.

"Are you going somewhere?" Logan asked, using his claws to lift his hat as he put on a menacing face.

"What are you doing here, Tolansky?" Deker asked, his tone a little gentler than Logan's, but using his claws to let Toad know that he'd better not lie to him.

"No, Logan! Deker! Let him go." Said the professor from a balcony of the mansion.

Logan and Deker retracted their claws and let Toad go.

"I came because Deker came looking for me and I sensed something bad was going on. But maybe it was the other one there..." Logan said.

"Let's hope so. Good to see you again, my friend. We missed you." Charles smiled before looking at Deker. "As for you, young man. You shouldn't leave without telling us, you're lucky the high school called us and not your parents."

"They wouldn't have many people to call if they tried." Deker retorted, earning a light pat on the back of the head from Logan.

"That's right. Why don't you both come and meet our new element." Charles suggested.

Kurt teleported into the hangar and, as he stepped back, got a good glimpse of a plane. Scott then stepped out of an elevator.

"What's that?" Kurt asked.

"It's the SR-77 Black Bird. Twice as fast as the SR-71. It has a... range and firepower 3 times greater. Nice, isn't it?" Scott explained.

"Very. Is this yours? Do you fly it?" Kurt asked.

"It's ours. And if you stay long enough, I'll teach you how to handle this monster. So, what do you say? Do you want to be part of our team?" Said Scott.

"Me? I almost killed you a few minutes ago." Said Kurt, feeling really guilty for that mistake.

"Yeah... Don't do it again. But, listen, we all make mistakes sometimes. I know I have. That's why we're all here, to learn not to make those kinds of mistakes. That's why we'd like you to stay." Scott declared.

"And you don't mind the way I look?" Kurt asked.

"Dude, don't bug me about my sunglasses and I'll be fine." Smiled Scott.

"We have a deal then." Kurt smiled back.

"Welcome to the team. I'll show you where we stash the sodas."

"Scott, Kurt, could you come into the living room? Someone who wasn't here when Kurt arrived just came back." The professor tells them telepathically.

Later, Toad was inside the headmistress's office, not at all happy with her report.

"I can't believe it! You got inside and ran away!" Principal Darkholme shouted.

"I freaked out. That's the way it is. I did what I could." Toad defended himself.

"And that dear professor erased your memory. You don't remember a thing!" Asked the headmistress, to which Toad replied by shaking his head. She then opened the door. "Get out of here!"

Toad jumped out and Headmistress Drakholme slammed the door, snarling in anger as she transformed into her true identity, the master of infiltration, Mystique.

In response to her anger, everything with metal in the office began to fly around the room. Then someone spoke up.

"Don't be too hard on him, Mystique. You wouldn't want to cause a defection in our ranks, would you?"

"No, sir. I'll be more careful." Said Mystique, as she began to take fright.

"I'm sure you will. And don't forget that this is just the beginning." Said the voice as Magneto could be seen through the glass a shadow concealing his face beneath his helmet.

At the same time at Xavier Manor, Deker entered the living room with the Professor and Logan. And everyone came into the room.

"Deker, I'd like you to meet Kurt. If you don't mind, please introduce yourself."

Kurt then approached Deker.

"Hi, my name is Kurt Wagner." He says shyly.

"Nice to meet you, Kurt." Says Deker, shaking his hand.

"You're not bothered by my appearance?" Kurt asked, which made the teenager smile.

"Compared to some of the things I saw before I came here, you're a perfectly normal person."

"Great. So Deker, what can you do?" Kurt asked.

Deker smiled as he raised his fist and a Skint was heard, as three claws came out.

"Wow! That's so cool!" Kurt said, looking at the claws.

"I've got a few other abilities too. But you'll see them later, if I show them." Deker smiled, retracting his claws.
