Fire and Ice Ch. 11
"Morning, girls!" Vanessa greets Bloom and Icy as they walk into the kitchen.
Both women give a "Moring, Mom!" in return.
Mike looks up from his paper. "So, you two decided to join us for breakfast this time?"
"Actually, we wanted to sleep in," the redhead informs her dad while getting some coffee for herself and her wife. "But we have to get back to Magix."
Vanessa looks at the girls. "You sure you two can't stay for a couple more days."
The witch sighs. "I would love to stay. And I would, were it not for the trial," Icy huffs as she accepts the coffee.
"What trial?" Mike sets his paper down.
"Are you in trouble, Icy?" the mom worriedly looks at her daughter-in-law.
"No more than usual," Icy tries to joke before letting out a sigh. "At the beginning of all this, I wasn't allowed to leave Alfea. They eventually let me go into the city on the terms that I give up my magic while doing so. When we got to the mall, everyone had fun. Then, I got separated from the others," she is already trembling at the thought of the experience. "Let's just say that there were some wannabe heroes who really didn't like me being out and about and things weren't pretty."
The Ice Witch tightens her eyes in an attempt to keep from crying. Icy then feels arms wrapped around her as a warmth feeling surges through her. Opening her eyes, the white-haired woman finds her mother-in-law hugging her. Icy then wraps her arms around the older woman and she starts to sob.
Vanessa whispers, "No one should have to go through what you did."
Bloom is working hard on holding back her own sobs as she knows they're not of her own emotions.
"Bloom?" Mike approaches his daughter. "Are you alright?"
The fairy wipes away the tears. "I'm alright. It's just this link," and points at the ring. "Kinda makes it hard for me not to cry when Icy cries."
"Shut up," Icy tells Bloom but reaches out her hand. "Still looks like you could use a hug though."
The redhead lets out giggle as she accepts the hand and is pulled into the hug and Mike joins them.

Later
Bloom and Icy are finishing up packing when they come across the box with their wedding videos.
"What should we do with these?" Bloom looks over at Icy who takes a moment to think.
"We could just send them where they're supposed to go? It is fair for the others to see it since your parents already did." she glances at her wife, hopefully. "I-if that's alright with you?"
Instead of answering, the fire fairy waves her hand over the box with the ice witch following her lead. The contents of the box vanish, leaving it empty.
"Hey!" Icy turns back to the redhead. "How about we send the rest of our stuff ahead and instead of going straight to Alfea we spend some time in Magix?"
"That sounds like a great idea," Bloom kisses her partner on the cheek. "It'll give everyone time to watch our wedding video."
At that, Icy covers her blushing face. She can already hear the remarks and comments from Darcy and Stormy.
Bloom then hooks an arm through the white-haired woman and in a flash, the two disappear from the room.
.oOo.
A few hours later
Bloom and Icy are currently sitting on a park bench, enjoying the peace while leaning in each other's embrace.
The two spent their time strolling through the city doing some window shopping, went into a few shops trying on clothes, and had something to eat at a small diner.
Along the way, they passed by a small empty building of what used to be the Enchanted Dominion. Icy insisted on getting a selfie to show off one of her wife's greatest accomplishment.
They eventually made their way to the park to relax for a little while before heading back to the school.
Bloom plops herself onto her bed. "I know that home is technically Earth and Domino but there's just something about Alfea that makes it just as much a home."
"Big deal!" Icy hops right next to her wife. "You have three homes. That's three times more than I have," she jokes.
"Icy…" the Fairy of the Dragon flame takes her hand. "We're married now. My home is your home. We're even."
The Ice Witch blushes a bit at that. "You know…" and soon finds herself rubbing her hand up and down her wife's arm. "Our friends appear to be out, and we have the whole place to ourselves. How about another go before we lose this privacy?"
At the suggestion, Bloom smiles.

Just as the Winx made it back to their apartment, the Trix ran up to them.
With an amusing smirk, Darcy asks. "Please tell my you've seen it?"
Stella has a grin of her own. "If you're talking about that wedding video, how could we not?"
Flora sighs. "It was so sweet."
Everyone enters the apartment.
Musa adds. "It was weird. That's what it was."
"It was funny," Stormy chuckles. "Who knew Icy could be that cheesy?"
Before anything else was said, there was a thump.
Aisha asks. "What was that?"
Everyone turns to the direction of one of the rooms.
Tecna points. "That's Bloom's room."
The Illusion Witch says. "You don't think…"
Stella suddenly surges forward and slams the door open, there were screams, followed by the Light Fairy shouting. "I knew it!"
.oOo.
Bloom and Icy are now sitting on the couch in shame with their clothes haphazardly put on.
Stella is chanting. "I knew it, I knew it, I…"
Musa and Stormy snaps. "We get it!"
The Music Fairy continues. "We get it, Stella. You figured that this would happen eventually. Is that any reason to ruin their first time?"
The married couple stiffened as they went wide-eyed.
Darcy notices and with a raised brow and with an amused grin asks, "Second time?"
The two glance at one another before each raise three fingers.
The Winx let out a squeal as the two Trix covered their ears in annoyance.

With in her office, Faragonda is going over the wedding video along with Griselda, Griffin, and Saladin. Once the mismatched woman showed up, the recording is paused.
The wizard squints his eyes. "Could that be who I think it is?"
Faragonda nods. "That may be the case."
"I don't understand," the deputy headmistress turns to the three. "I once read through the reports, and I thought they were a man."
That's when Griffin spoke up. "They take many different forms during each awakening. The earliest known form was said to have been a snake and I do believe this is not the first time they took the form of a woman. What we see here is merely the recent form. I thought for sure after the last time, they were drained completely."
"They are the embodiment of chaos," Saladin tells his colleague. "It was only a matter of time before the awakening." He looks over at the image of the woman.
Faragonda also stares at it. "But what could have triggered it this time and so soon?"
"Darkar, Valtor, perhaps any of the events on Earth," the Witch lists off. "No telling what that twisted mind has in store."
Griselda then adds. "And what could this possibly have to do with Bloom and Icy?"
That is what disturbs Faragonda the most.
Guest (Honeyfever): I have not forgotten about this story. I was actually in the middle of writing this chapter before becoming obsessed with Hazbin Hotel fics. Sorry it took so long. I'll try to keep up with updates and not focus on others for too long, but I have a focusing problem. Little Hazbin was actually the longest I stayed on the same story that led to a trilogy and a couple of tie-ins.
