A/N Bad Girls and Consequences episodes. Well, Giles isn't here to ignore Faith's existence and Wesley showed up a month early in this fic. Faith doesn't need to steal to survive. But Mr. Trick, the Eluminati, the Mayor and the Deputy Mayor are still around.

We won't get to see Giles, Angel and Buffy do two incredibly stupid things. Giles isn't going to lie to Faith in regards to what he knows is an accident, while admitting to Buffy that it is an accident and Buffy and Angel aren't going to be chaining Faith to a wall and convincing her an accident made her evil.

I don't care what fans say that was not an intervention. Although, Buffy might actually have believed it was, but Angel's speech made us all dumber for having been forced to listen to it.

Some dialog taken from forever dreaming dot com transcripts. Just because I honestly think the conversation between Buffy and Faith regarding whether or not Buffy ever had sex with Xander is kinda funny and in the actual episode I thought Faith was checking to see if she had any competition when I first saw it. Not that Faith is having sex with Xander in this fic. Cordelia would set them both on fire. ;)

Besides, I happen to agree with Anya, Xander had a very nice butt. ;)

"Faith, this is not the time for this conversation!" Buffy insisted as the two struggled with several vampires dressed in something medieval inspired.

"So what, you telling me never? Back before Queen C planted Private Property stickers on his fine ass?"

"Faith, concentrate on the vampires, not on Xander's butt!"

"I'm curious, never ever? Come on, all this time and not even once?"

"How many times do I have to say it? I have never done it with Xander! He asked me out once, two years ago, I said no. I told him I just wanted to be friends and we are, friends I mean."

"So? What are friends for, all the sweaty nightly side by side fighting action and you never thought about a little sexy time?"

"No, I love Xander, I just don't love Xander. You know what I mean."

"Yeah love and sex go together for you. You gotta loosen up, B, you're wound pretty tight."

"Yeah, but I was magically roofied into falling in love with a vampire, that kinda soured my first time. What with all the blood and world ending that followed. And besides, I think it would have ruined our friendship and Xander's become one of my best friends."

Buffy looked closer at the muddy boots after they finished off the vampires they'd been struggling with.

"You think too much." Buffy grabbed Faith's arm. "What?"

"There's one more."

"How do you know?"

"I think too much. Look at the boot prints. We finished off three but there's four sets of prints in the mud."

The two followed the extra set of prints around a tomb and a found another vampire who ran towards them. Faith met it with one of her favorite moves, a roundhouse kick to the head, which set it stumbling toward Buffy who snapped a kick of her own to the side of its face and sent it sprawling face first into a headstone. Faith finished it off with a strike to the back with her stake.

"Any more?" She asked, straightening up. "Who were those guys anyway? Never heard of vamps in uniforms, especially ones straight out of King Arthur."

"Wesley would probably take exception to that comparison." Buffy looked around again, checking for evidence of more. "They had swords...where did the swords go? Damn, there must have been another one and they grabbed the swords."

"Maybe we can describe them to Wes. Let's call it a night and hit the Bronze for some dancing. Red and Wolfboy are supposed to be there."

"Do you give everybody nicknames, Faith?"

"Only if I like them, B."

"Thanks. I think."

A vampire known only as Mr. Trick laid two swords, a long and a short one, on Mayor Richard Wilkins desk. "Check these out."

The Mayor ignored him for a moment as he finished reading the comic he was currently enjoying in the paper, before looking at the two swords. "Well, I haven't seen anything like this in a good long while. Where's the owner of these fine implements?" He asked Mr. Trick.

"The common term is slain, but I've been seeing this breed around. Are we expecting any trouble?"

"I hope not, my dedication is in just a few days."

"Maybe, maybe you should consider postponing it?" Deputy Mayor Finch stutteringly suggested. Both the Mayor and Mr. Trick looked incredulous.

"I believe the Honorable Mayor hates that idea." Mr. Trick smirked at the nervous little man, who swallowed hard.

The Mayor walked over to a cabinet and opened it. It was filled with shrunken heads and knives and goblets. Mr. Trick could smell the lingering traces of blood on the ceremonial objects. Mayor pulled out a wetnap and fastidiously cleaned his hands. "No, postponing my dedication is an unacceptable idea. I've waited far too long for it. It's the final step before my Ascension and I don't want to be worrying about anything getting in the way of it. So I want you to keep an eye on things for me, Mr. Trick. Who knows maybe they'll run into the Slayers and they'll kill each other and everybody wins. Everybody meaning me." He grinned smugly as Allen Finch shivered.
