Epilogue

Never have I ever thought I would be lucky enough to get the most wonderful woman to marry me. All my life, I thought I would be alone. Whoever would have fallen for a guy like me? I wasn't the smartest, funniest or good with words like the rest of men. I've had a lot of time to work on those qualities during my never-ending existence. Even then, I was now a blood sucking monster, stuck in time, destined to remain forever in a teenage body.

My beautiful bride was the fairest of them all. She was paler now than when I met her, her skin sparkled on the sun just a tiny bit, making her appear as a princess from a fairy tale. Her silky thick hair was flowing in the wind as she made her way toward me. The white Victorian style dress that she chose had T-Shirt sleeves, allowing me to see my bite marks from that horrible night a year prior to this day. Even with them, she looked breathtaking. The most gorgeous woman I've ever met.

Funniest of all things, Bella loved her scars, she liked how Emmett called them "badass," liked how they were a reminder of what I've done to save her life, and liked how it connected us in more ways than we were already. I loved how they gave her an impenetrable skin and an even higher reflexes to protect her from any enemies that we might face in the future.

We never figured out exactly how it happened. Carlisle believed I had accidentally sucked out some of Bella's blood with the poison, therefore healing parts of my vampirism that stood out most. While doing it, he theorised, I have also left some small amount of venom in Bella, which made her heart stop, her skin hardened and her reflexes get to the level of the "cold ones" vampires.

It didn't matter to us, whatever the difference in appearance we got was simply an added bonus. Bella was alive, we were immortal, and no one and nothing was standing in the way of our future anymore.

The wedding ceremony was a small event, with only my family and her brothers with their girlfriends. We asked Carlisle to officiate, which he was more than happy to do. Emmett and Jasper stood on my side as best men, Alice walked in front of Bella as her maid of honour. A title she "deserved for being a part of your save team" if I would quote the little devil herself. Even without it, Bella would have still chosen Alice as a maid of honour, she still disliked Elena and Rose has just started warming up to her. Caroline was the closest one to Bella, not counting Rebekah Mikaelsson, who still couldn't be in the United States for reasons unknown to us. Alice was Bella's best friend and sister, even if she pissed her off more times than not.

Damon walked Bella down the aisle and placed her hand in mine. He shook my hand and went to grab his seat. Our relationship has gotten much better after I helped save his girlfriend and found a way to save his sister in one night. I wouldn't call us friends exactly, but he was a very complicated person and I was glad he at least accepted me as Bella's forever partner. I was looking forward to working on that relationship in the near future, the family was moving to Mystic Falls in just a few months. Alice was right and Bella did have an idea about the old Salvatore mansion. She would build a school there for Supernatural children, with my family and her family assisting as teachers and mentors. Rosalie, for one, couldn't wait to start helping young kids.

Stefan and Caroline had found each other a few months back and were inseparable now. Alice had a few visions about the two weddings we'll be attending in the future. It seemed like all the Salvatore siblings will be married off in the next 3 years. Much to Bella's dismay, Damon's forever partner was still present in her life and didn't seem to be going anywhere any time soon.

I was in a different world that day, my wedding day, what a strange thing. Yet, it was the most natural and normal thing that I've done since I became a vampire. Marrying Bella Salvatore was the one best thing that ever happened to me. And when my father pronounced us as 'man and wife', I took full responsibility and vowed to forever be what she wants me to be. I'll be her best friend, her support system, her confidant, her lover. Whatever she wished, I would do for her.

Bella giggled and jumped on me with kisses when it was time. I cupped her cheeks in my hands and twirled her around. I heard clapping, Emmett was whistling behind me, someone was laughing and yelling, and soon Bella and I were forced to break our kiss to accept heartwarming congratulations and hugs from our families.

Rosalie had given up then and sighed in her thoughts. The whole matrimony was the last straw for her and she has officially accepted my beloved as her sister from what I could tell. Rosie even gave me a stern look when I interrupted their hug. "We'll talk about my gift for you later, then."

"What's your gift?" I asked bewildered.

"She is doing something really awesome to my Fairlady." Bella smiled brightly. "It's a surprise."

"Are you doing something awesome to my Vanquish too?"

"Like what? I've already done all the awesome things with that car. Get a new one if you want a gift from me." She chuckled and gave me a big hug too. "Congratulations, little brother."

After many congratulations, hugs and kisses, all I wanted to do was be alone with my new wife, so when the time came for us to leave for a honeymoon, I couldn't wait a second longer.

Bella and I have always been tuned into one another, we went through a horrible thing together and so many good and exciting ones. All I hoped now was that all my future adventures had my beautiful Bella Cullen in them. Together forever.

Oh I cannot believe this story is finished...I had so much fun writing this piece! Off to the next one then, I'm obsessing over crossovers now. For those of you who think it means I'm coming back to my Twilight x The Umbrella Academy work...I'm so sorry, there's still a writer's block on it, I'll probably be rewriting it completely if anything. But I'll start posting my new crossover which will be (drum roll please) Twilight x Once Upon A Time piece. So keep an eye out if you're interested!
