I want that one

Fives and Echo sat on a bed facing each other. A pile of data pads shared among their laps. Fives bounced excitedly, "I can't believe we're ARC troopers! I can't believe we're ARC troopers!"

Echo plants a hand on Fives' face, "Stop. We need to focus." he takes his hand off and picks up a data pad, "Due to our rank, we get to pick which General to help." holds it to his face and turns it on, "Okay, you read all the ones on your lap, I read all the ones on mine. We'll separate the good from the bad. Got it?"

Fives nods and they get to work reading. Fives skims it, then tosses it on the floor, "Nope."

Echo looks up at him, "Did you skim it?"

"Yep. Just read the kill counts for clones verses droids. I'm thinking we should look for those with low success rates. They could use our help."

Echo thinks about it, "Sounds good. But we should also read their tactics too."

"Sounds good to me." Fives lifts up another and skims it too.

Echo tosses the one he's holding onto the next bed over and grabs another.

Ahsoka enters the barracks and stops next to the growing pile on the floor, "What's all this?" she picks one up, "Jedi war profiles?"

Echo looks up at her, "We're determining who would benefit most from our help as ARC troopers."

she looks at them, "How?"

"By reading the important parts." he turns back to reading.

Fives looks up at her, "It's foolproof."

"Uh huh." Ahsoka rolls her eyes and drops the data pad back into the pile, "You know, I know a lot of Jedi."

they both look at her for a moment, then Fives comments, "We could just bounce around between Obi-wan and Anakin."

"Sounds like a waste. Mind if I help?" she asks.

Fives smiles, "Sure." he turns back to it and hands her one.

She reads it, then stops, "Are you guys skimming them?"

Echo answers, "Keywords; death count and tactics."

"Gotcha." she continues reading.

Twenty minutes later. Ahsoka tosses the last one in the floor pile and breathes for a minute, "Why were the tactics so wordy?"

Fives smiles down at her, "That's how we were taught to write." he slides off the bed and starts grabbing the ones on the bed, "Okay, I suggest we sort through these and figure out who to help first. I'm thinking... juggling. Last one still in the air we help first."

Echo gets up and they both start juggling them badly.

Rex greets Cody and they head to the barracks. Rex smiles, "So, what brings you here?"

"Obi-wan wanted to scold Anakin in person. Hows the new ARC troopers doing?"

"Fives is still excited about their new job and Echo's suffering for it. I think they'll be happy to see you."

"I just hope Anakin didn't ruin them too much."

Rex smiles wider and they enter the barracks. The twins stop "juggling" and shout his name excitedly while pouncing on him.

Cody tensed up when he saw them flying at him. Once on the floor, he comments to Rex breathlessly, "Happy is an understatement."

Fives whispers to Echo, "I think we'll start with Obi-wan."

Echo whispers back, "It's a good start."

Ahsoka comes over and flops down to join the hugging, whispering to the both of them, "You guys are the worst."

Rex just stands there and laughs.
