Harry wasn't at all surprised when the same men showed up the following day as he once again walked Jason home from the rec center. Nor was he surprised when they continued to do so the rest of the week. It all became clear to him why they were doing so when a group of demons attacked him and Jason from an alleyway that Friday night. Turns out Jason's father was a demon and wanted his son back so he could begin training him. The men's aunt was a whitelighter who was cloaking Jason and his mother, but with a whole faction of demons out looking for them it was only a matter of time before they were found. He was just happy for the help when the fireballs started flying.

"Why didn't you tell us you were a witch?" The taller of the two asked once the last demon was vanquished.

"Why didn't you ask?" He responded sarcastically as he checked over Jason to make sure he wasn't hurt. "Sorry I didn't mention being a witch, but in my defense, I didn't know it was demons your mom was hiding you from." He focused on the boy, and received a nod in appreciation.

"Let's get you home to your mom, then we can come up with a plan on helping you disappear again. I think it is safe to say you can't stay here." Harry spoke as he pulled the boy to his feet. "You two may as well just walk with us, no sense in trying to follow, you are greatly lacking when it comes to stealth."

"So wait, you knew we were here?" The tall one asked in shock, while the shorter of the two didn't looks surprised at all.

"Since you showed up earlier this week, you kinda stand out." Jason said with a grin.

"How so?" The taller one looked genuinely curious, "I'm Wyatt by the way, Wyatt Halliwell, and this is my younger brother Chris." The shorter one gave a slight wave.

"Harry, and you know Jason." Harry introduce himself. "As for standing out, well, your clothing for one was a dead give away. Most of us here shop at Goodwill and thrift shops, it is all we can afford." As he said this he motioned to the well worn clothing he and Jason were wearing, and saw the brothers take note of the frayed hems and what not. He saw Jason was slightly embarrassed by this fact, but Harry had long ago accepted his lot in life.

"You were also too focused on Jason and I and not on your surroundings. It is a good way to get mugged or killed around here." He motioned to a group of guys down the street who were obviously carrying weapons. At this point they were walking up to Jason's door, and before long were being welcomed into the apartment by the boys mother.

"You know you didn't have to walk me home right?" He asked Wyatt as the two made their way through the darkness. He was thankful for the other man's help though when he had insisted on going to the bodega with him after hearing he had planned to skip said stop that night. It was nice having someone to help him carry his groceries back to his apartment.

"I know, but like you said, it's not exactly safe here. The least I can do is see to it you get home safe. Besides, I can always orb back to my place from your apartment." It had been surprising to him to find out the boys could orb as well as they themselves being witches. They in turn seemed pleasantly surprised to find out he knew little about the Charmed Ones.

Wyatt walked him to his door and would have left from there had Harry not invited him in saying he would be less likely to be seen using his magic from inside the apartment. The two had originally intended to part ways once they were out of sight of the mortals, but ended up in the midst of a conversation that lasted long into the night. Neither went too in-depth with their lives, it was more about their likes and dislikes. Wyatt was interested to hear all that Harry had done to with what little he had, and gave him his aunt Paige's number after hearing he was studying to go into social work. He told him that was her career field, and that she would be happy to mentor him. He could see Harry was skeptical, but the man agreed to give her a call when Wyatt pressed him.

It turns out Wyatt wouldn't have had to worry as Harry met Paige and the rest of the Halliwell family while working with them to protect Jason and his mom. Together they vanquished the demons who were after the boy, and then bound his powers at his request so that he and his mother would not be able to be tracked going forward.

Harry thought once the demons were vanquished and the innocents saved he would never see the Halliwells again, but in this too he was wrong. Wyatt had a tendency of orbing into his apartment whenever he felt like hanging out, sometime Chris would be join him. It annoyed Harry at first as it made his goal of being completely cut off from people that much harder, but the brothers ignored his annoyance and acted as if they had lived with him all along.

Gradually it started to feel as if they had always been there. Then, from the easy camaraderie sprouted friendship in the case of one brother, and an easy deeper relationship with the other. Harry was sure he couldn't pinpoint the moment Chris became like an older brother to him, just as protective of him as he was of his little sister, Melinda. Instead of trying he learned to relish in the care he received from the man.

Wyatt on the other hand developed into something even deeper. From the earliest moments it seemed like the man was always around. He would frequently stop by with groceries, to which Harry would make them both dinner. If something broke in Harry's apartment Wyatt would orb right over to fix it, and if he couldn't fix it he would call his dad, Leo, to do so. When Harry came home to find someone had broken into his apartment, Wyatt pestered him into moving in with him. Harry had fought it at first, having been fighting a growing attraction to the man, but Wyatt was relentless and eventually Harry moved into the man's spare bedroom.

After moving in, the two would find themselves kissing without thinking about it. Before leaving the apartment, after coming home, before bed, it seemed to just be second nature, and many minutes would pass before the two realized what they had done.

After a few months of this happening periodically the two finally sat down and had a long discussion about their relationship and where they thought/would like it heading. Confirming they both desired the relationship to deepen, Harry opened up about his past with his family. Terrified of losing Wyatt he stumbled over his words as he told about the false accusations that had led to his family and friends washing their hands of him, all except his friends Ron and Hermione. He spoke of his struggles with his mental health, and the actions that led to Hermione begging him to get counseling.

He thought for sure Wyatt would leave him, believe him capable of what he was accuse of like everyone else had. Instead the man held him as he cried, reassuring him that he knew there was no way Harry could have done any of those things. That night the two fell asleep on each other's arm for the first of many nights to come.

"Where are we?" Harry asked his boyfriend of two years as he gently took hold of the hands covering his eyes. Wyatt had told him he had a surprise for him, but had told him he couldn't peek before covering his eyes.

"You'll see." He could hear the smile in the man's voice as he orbed them both away. He could feel himself reappear on what felt like a beech under his feet. He waited for his eyes to adjust as the hands were lowered, and in the sand the word "Will You Marry Me" were written nice and large. Reeling from the shock he tired to his boyfriend to see him down on one knee with a ring box held out in front of him. Inside was a white gold band when triquetras carved all the way around it. Between each triquetra was a small emerald.

He was sure there was no way he could love anyone as much as he loved the man before him, but could not get the words out through his tears. He remembered the years feeling alone, though they felt so distant after Wyatt and his family had come into his life. Unable to get the words out past his tears, all he could do was nod his head, but it was enough for Wyatt, who stood and pulled him into a warm embrace.

As the ring was slipped onto his finger people seemed to materialize out of nowhere. It appeared every Halliwell member had joined them to share in their joy. However, it was not them who Harry couldn't take his eyes off of, but rather the tall redhead and slight brunet with her curly hair pulled back in a messy bun. "No way was I going to let them miss this." Wyatt said when he saw where he was looking, before giving Harry a slight shove toward his friends, smiling when the three shared a tight embrace.

It hadn't been Wyatt's intention to get married that day, but Harry decided it would be perfect as everyone they loved were already there. He had said he didn't want to wait another moment to be Wyatt's husband, and Wyatt found he agreed. That decided they were quick to summon Wyatt's Grams, and the two were married by her much like his parents had been. Chris and Melinda stood up with Wyatt while Ron and Hermione stood up with Harry. Photos were taken on the different phones of the family members, and Harry promised to sends some of said photos to his friends when they requested copies.

In Harry's mind it could not have been more perfect, that is, until Hermione offered to add a wizarding soul bonding ritual to the wedding. She explained to the group it was not very common in their world as it usually failed. It only succeeded if the couple were in fact soulmates. Many same sex couples opted for them as it would allow them to carry children of their own if it succeeded. She told them that after hearing how their relationship came about she thought there was a good chance they were soulmates. The thought of even possibly being able to have children that were his and Wyatt's was enough for Harry to agree, Wyatt agreeing just to make Harry happy.

Once the ritual was complete the two felt a burning on their left wrists, and triquetra tattoos appeared. Hermione squealed in delight as she informed them that this was confirmation that the ritual worked and that they were indeed soulmates. She informed them that while it did mean one of them would be able to get pregnant and carry a child to term, it wouldn't happen quickly. That many couples wait decades to become parents.

Neither of them cared in that moment, both of them looking forward to just being married.
