Peter with Sue next to him stood before the cell holding Norman Osborn the father of his best friend, who been like a second uncle to him. "Well you must be very proud of yourself Pete." Osborn said in a slick sarcastic voice. "Standing there with the Princess no less. Are you fuc-." But Peter didn't let him continue. "What's your name demon? The one who I'm speaking to through Norman Osborn's lips. Probably hitch a ride after your deal was made." Norman gazed him for a long moment then gave a wicked grin. "What gave me away?" He asked. "First your name?" Counter Sue and Peter appreciated that the Princess was taking this seriously.
"I'm not going be stupid enough to tell you my true name Princess. So just-." Norman's face began morphing. Becoming green, his ears becoming more pointed then the normal elves and eyes yellow. "Call me Green Goblin. Now your turn?" Peter gazed at the creature before him his stomach twisting at the goblin like face. "Well for one when Harry got sick with unusual disease many winters ago. Nothing seem to be able to help him and Norman was getting desperate to find a cure. Then one day Harry was cured as if he never been sick at all. Yet Norman started showing signs of not being himself. Subtle changes yet quite noticeable to those that love him…"
"Like your Uncle Ben." The Green Goblin snickered. "Yes Osborn got desperate enough to call on for help in shady circles. And I agreed cured Harry if I could hitch a ride with Normany." A disgruntled look appeared on the goblin's face. "At first I had to limit the time I used Osborn's body to ensure no one could exorcise me and until I can be strong enough to live in this body permanently. Of course your beloved Uncle was the first to figure out the truth, which was why he had to go." Peter fists clenched as his anger grew. "Yet of course doing so started making Norman more rebellious and did all he could to prevent me from eliminating you even though you're among the greatest threat to me."
"Because I become a Spider Totem?" Asked Peter. "Oh yes a path that you were destined to walk." The Goblin growled in anger. "To be my eternal enemy just as we Goblins are the Spider's eternal enemies." Sue folded his arms. "Well you lost and soon we will rid Norman of your influence." The Green Goblin began laughing hysterically. A evil laugh that sent shivers down Peter's back at hearing it since he had heard the same the night his uncle died. "What's so funny?!"
"Oh just you thinking that I'm helpless to prevent you from doing what you said. But not this time!" Then the goblin hit the ground covering his head at the same time Peter head suddenly flared with a strange sense he hadn't felt before yet it warned of danger… from the opposite wall to the bars.
"Look Out!" Almost too late Peter managed to tackled Sue away as the wall exploded inwards filling the dungeon with smoke and made Peter's ears ring. Yet he saw that Sue had used her powers of projecting protective shields to…. Well shield them from the derby and they saw sunlight coming from the new hole in the wall of Norman's cell yet the bars were still mostly intake.
Which blocked Peter's path to stop the possessed Osborn from running to the edge of the hole and leaping quite a distance. But instead of heading towards the ground the Green Goblin landed on some strange bat like contraption that billowed smoke and floated in the air. As if it was sideways surf board. He rode the… glider standing up.
Peter went to the bars and yanked on them and to his surprise the wall of bars came off as one whole piece for it seemed being a Spider Totem has given him very increased strength. Dropping the bars to the side Peter went to the edge and watch the form of the possessed Norman Osborn still with the goblin's face flying away. "We'll meet again, Spider!" Came the Goblin's voice before he vanished from sight.
Gritting his teeth Peter left the edge and went back into the wreck dungeon opened space. "Are you okay?" He asked the Princess. "Thanks to I am." Sue replied. Just as Steve and Tony came in ready for a fight. "What happened?!" Asked Captain America. "Osborn is definitely being possessed by a Goblin demon that calls it Green Goblin and is in possession of technology such as the flying glider that blasted a hole and he escaped one." Peter said and Iron Knight headed for the hole probably to follow. "He's long gone." Sue said annoyed. "Mostly likely going into hiding to plan to try to seize."
"Well he can't return to Brooklyn. Once he is exposed the people will turn on him." Tony said his voice amplified through his helmet, sounding metallic.
Suddenly Mary Jane and Saleya rushed in and hurry to embrace him relived he was unharmed. Peter returned their embrace yet kept his eyes on the Princess and the two knights. "We figure this out another day. Yet right now we must called the people of Queens." Peter raised an eyebrow. "For what?" He asked and Sue smiled at him. "Why to introduce you to them as their new Jarl."
