====During Pain's Invasion====
Kushina didn't say anything or her injury but made some hand seals and her hand turned into wood which chased the Tendō (Deva Path). Pain jumped backwards to dodge the incoming woods chased him to a corner. He stopped when the woods stopped but suddenly blocked an incoming katana before it could cut his head. Kushina used more strength on the path to cut it.
"Shinra Tensei..." Pain used the jutsu to push Kushina back, but his eyes were widening when he saw somehow withstanding gravity. Kushina used an Doton (Earth Release) jutsu to make her super waited then Fūton (Wind Release) jutsu to make her stay at a single place. In the end the path jumped back causing her to complete the slice with a compressed air wave crashed on the path's chest shredding its Akatsuki cloak.
"Enough... Banshō Ten'in (Universal Pull)..." said Pain.
Kushina was again pulled towards the path, but she smirked. The moment she was about to crash on the path, its hand was clearly cut by something. Pain was taken back by surprise when another Kushina came from his side to cut his hand. Then Pain slammed on to the ground when a Rasengan hit his head. Kushina didn't wait for any moment to cut his head off, but she was stopped by a shield. She was now clearly irritated, and she retreated to form some hands seals.
"Mokuton: Mokuryū no Jutsu (Wood Release: Wood Dragon Technique)..." Kushina thought to herself, and a giant dragon formed from under her and rose with taking her on its forehead.
Pain saw the giant dragon coming towards him and used jutsu again, "Shinra Tensei..." The wood dragon withstood the pressure of the jutsu and continued his way towards him. Seeing the jutsu as a real threat he flew high and started to run away from it.
"I should have done it long ago... he is now running away..." Kushina chased the path while she saw Tsunade took down Konan for a glimpse and chased.
"This jutsu is strong... it didn't budge against the Shinra Tensei, and I don't have enough chakra for Chibaku Tensei...," Pain said, 'Gakidō (Preta Path) is defeated... Ningendō (Human Path) and Shuradō (Ashura Path) defeated the Sandaime and Senju Tsunade... Chikushōdō (Animal Path) is here...' Pain thought to himself.
Kushina was chasing the Tendō (Deva Path) until with a plume of smoke, a three headed dog appeared in front of her, and she snorted in irritation. Kushina's wooden dragon wrapped itself around the dog and bit it to siphon its chakra off. Then the Godaime Hokage saw a bunch of missiles were coming towards her, but she didn't budge from her place as the dragon swung its tail to deflect them.
Kushina found both Chikushōdō (Animal Path) and Shuradō (Ashura Path) at both of her sides and formed a single hand seal, "Ninpō: Konohagakure no Jutsu..." The whole area covered with thick mist for some moments and Pain's Rinnegan's view stopped.
"Shinra Tensei..." Tendō (Deva Path) cleared the mist to see that the Chikushōdō (Animal Path) and Shuradō (Ashura Path) was destroyed by numerous wood spikes, but he couldn't see Kushina with her wood dragon there. He waited for moments until he heard something coming down from sky and looking upwards, he found Kushina's wood dragon was coming down at high speed.
'This will be my last attack... I can't see the other paths means this is the last of them...' Kushina thought and jumped from her dragon for an attack.
'There will be two attacks and if I use one jutsu then the other will hit me for sure...' Pain thought and faced his remaining palm towards Kushina, "Banshō Ten'in (Universal Pull)..."
Kushina was surprised when she was pulled towards Pain when she thought the path would push her back. Before Kushina could reach the Tendō (Deva Path) her wood dragon but the path causing it to lose his balance. Kushina sighed in relief that her jutsu reached first but that became her reason to get hit by something. She looked to see a black rod straight into her heart and she collapsed but before she commanded the wood dragon to crush the Tendō (Deva Path). As Kushina fell down on the ground some teardrops fall to the ground from her eyes even though she won.
"I don't any strength now... this black rod is killing me... I can't heal myself anymore..." Kushina thought to herself unto; she felt a touch on her head, barely Kushina could see the Ningendō (Human Path) standing behind her ready to pull out her soul, 'So I'm going to die now? I didn't see my son for the last 3 years and I'll die before seeing him one last time? Konoha still hates Naruto... how can I leave him to a place where people will never appreciate him and after today... they will hate him more... Why? Why my son? I don't want to die like this... I don't want to die like this... I DON'T WANT TO DIE LIKE THIS...' Kushina screamed in her mind before her world went black.
What Kushina didn't know that the Ningendō (Human Path) behind her was strangled by shadows then a giant hand crushed it completely.
Shikaku quickly ended his jutsu and ran to Kushina, "Kushina... Kushina... Wake up..." he said as he began to shake Kushina.
"Her breathing is almost non-existent... if she doesn't get sudden treatment or she will die..." Inoichi said as he began to check Kushina.
"Everything calmed down meaning there are no enemies... I'll take her to a doctor and you two see if anyone is near..." Choza said.
The older generation of the Ino-Shika-Cho nodded in agreement but before they could do anything something came after them and they dodged, but her hit in different places, and they had to Shunshin away. Then a swirl appeared and first an unconscious Mikoto fell from it then Tobi came out with half of his mask is broken and his left hand is missing with his Akatsuki cloak.
"I can't let you ruin my plans..." he went to Kushina and was about to put his hand on her forehead but was unable to, he looked to see a seal on her hand, and he clicked his tongue in frustration, "I was going to take your remaining life force Uzumaki Kushina... perhaps maybe a villager around here..."
====Few Moments Later====
Tobi is standing in the middle of Konoha to see it leveled with some survivors around, "KONOHA... TODAY YOU LOST EVERYTHING BECAUSE OF UZUMAKI NARUTO... I DIDN'T HAVE ANYTHING AGAINST KONOHA BUT I WANTED THE KYUUBI IN HIM SO MY TARGET WAS ONLY HIM... BUT NOW HE IS MEDDLING WITH IN MY EVERY BUSINESS SO ON BEHALF OF HIM YOU PAYED... IF HE DIDN'T MEDDLE IN MY BUSINES THEN YOUR FAMILY... HOKAGE... VILLAGE EVERYTHING WOULD BE FINE... WARN HIM NOT TO COME IN MY BUSINESS OR I WILL COME AGAIN AND TAKE THOSE WHO REMAINED BUT I WON'T HURT HIS LOVED ONES BUT YOUR LOVED ONES... HE WILL LIVE HAPPILY BUT YOU WILL LOSE EVERYTHING..." With that, Tobi disappeared.
Kushina defeated Shuradō (Ashura Path), Chikushōdō (Animal Path), Tendō (Deva Path), while the Tendō (Deva Path) put Kushina in a death state. The Ino-Shika-Cho defeated the Ningendō (Human Path) but Tobi nearly killed them, he had also defeated Mikoto. Pain's raid on Konoha was a success though all of the Pein Rikudō (Paths of Pain) were defeated Tobi was the last one to stand and speared hatred in Konoha.
====Current Time====
"If Tsunade-sama didn't summon Katsuyu-sama or Fukasaku-sama didn't return back we could have lost Hokage-sama... no one found any life energy from her... but something was keeping her alive and that's why she made it in the last with Orochimaru's support also..." said Shizune.
"I'm very glad that you didn't say this when Naruto was around that because of them her Kaa-san didn't have any life energy..." said Kakashi. Their conversation stopped when some people entered there hastily.
"Shizune-san please save her..." Shikamaru was carrying an unconscious Ino with Choji behind him.
"INO!" Haku jumped towards to see the girl he loved.
Shizune also quickly went towards them to check Ino and her face dropped more, "I'm sorry she didn't make it..." she said with a dejected look.
"No way..." Shikamaru felt his body go numb as he heard his childhood friend had died. Haku didn't say a word but drop on her knees with tears running down from his eyes uncontrollably.
"Haku..." Nier went to hug her former teammate and friend.
Ino took interest in Haku from the Chunin Exams, and they started to meet each other after that. Though both of them declined they weren't dating each other everyone knew they were good at hiding it. Eight months ago, their dates changed into a romantic relationship which was known by very few people.
"Shikamaru... what are you going to say to Inoichi Oji-san..." said Choji.
"I... I don't have any answers..." said Shikamaru in a shocked state.
"I should not say this now but I'm sorry... Shikaku-san, Inoichi-san, and Choza-san were attacked... and Shikaku-san ended up dying from the strike..." said Shizune remorsefully. The last two members of Ino-Shika-Cho trio froze at their place.
"Old man..." tears fell down from Shikamaru's eyes as he sat down placing Ino's body there, he had just lost his Tou-san and friend.
"You could say that later..." said Kakashi.
"I'm sorry..." said Shizune.
"I'm feel sorry for Haku..." said Kakashi, "His Kaa-san is now in deep coma... and no one knows when she will wake up... his Shisutā (sister) was captured by someone... and we don't know what happened to her also... his love was also taken from him... his brother deserted the village fed up with everything..."
Haku suddenly stood up tackling Nier out from him and the floor slowly froze around him, "I'm going..." Haku took out Kubikiribōchō from a seal at his palm.
"Where are you going?" asked Kakashi.
"Amegakure... I'll kill the Akatsuki by myself..." said Haku.
"Haku calm down..." said Kakashi as he grabbed his wrist.
"I don't care... I know its Akatsuki's doing that Taiyō was kidnapped to make Naruto mad and lose his sanity..." said Haku as he pulled his wrist away from Kakashi, "If Naruto fails to find Taiyō then he will attack aimlessly around the 5 great nations to find her... and it will make him a criminal as he now took off the Konoha headband... he will steamroll all over the continent and I don't want that... I'll find them... kill them... and find Taiyō before Naruto does anything... if I die then so be it... I owed Naruto everything and this is time to pay him back..."
"Haku what will happen when Naruto comes back to find you went on your own and gave your life?" asked Nier.
"Shut up Nier... I don't want anything to hear from you... you were the one who made distance because after that incident you never make yourself believe in Naruto... Naruto tried everything... but you only made distance and when he went from here you didn't come to see him... and he was sad about it... we asked you to write letters to him... but you didn't... yet he asked about you at every letter he sent you..." Haku's rant continued but Nier knew what she did, so she stayed silent, and Haku also stopped and stepped forwards only to meet a pair of red eyes and he fell unconscious.
"I'm sorry but it will be better if you sleep for somedays..." said Itachi.
"I guess I have to do something now... I brought all this mess since the Third War..." said Kakashi, crossed his right arm and placed his left elbow on it before putting his fingertip on his face.
"Are you going to do something foolish now Kakashi?" asked Itachi, just in case he had to knock him out to.
Kakashi raises his head and looks at Itachi, "No... but the moment my path crosses with Obito... I'll do my job to finish him..."
====Amegakure====
"What are you feeling now Nagato?" asked Tobi. Infront of him, Nagato is standing, not looking fragile like in his old time, he was now a fully nourished man.
"I'm fine Madara... Senju Tsunade and the other person's life forces healed me completely..." said Nagato.
"Yes... now summon the Gedo Mezo and become it's jinchuuriki..." ordered Tobi. Nagato nodded and summoned the Gedo Mezo and absorbed it completely and his appearance changed to white. His outfit is like Ashura's outfit with six truth seeker orbs behind him floating.
"Now absorb the Nibi, Sanbi and Nanabi... and these pots are carrying the Hachibi's and Kyuubi's chakra... this will be enough for you before you capture the Yonbi, Gobi, and Rokubi..." said Tobi.
"Gakidō (Preta Path)..." three chains shot from Nagato palm capturing the Sanbi with the other two tugging out the others from their jinchuuriki, he put another hand into pots carrying Hachibi and Kyuubi's chakra absorb them also, "I can feel their power..." one of his truth seeker orbs changed its shape into a staff which he lunged at Tobi in a blink.
"What!" Tobi didn't expect the move and got stabbed in the heart, "What are you doing?" Tobi activated Kamui and phased out from the attack.
"I don't have any use for you now... so I'll kill you here..." said Nagato.
"Foolish Nagato... do you think you can kill the ringleader?" asked Tobi.
"You are right Obito... they think they can kill the ringleader..." said a voice.
====Meanwhile At the Fire Capital====
Rin is now currently sitting in Naruto's room; her ceremony finished some moments ago and she is now the daimyo of Hi no Kuni (Land of Fire).
'Why I am getting a bad vibe suddenly...' Rin thought though something appeared in the room causing her to jump in surprise, "Naruto-kun?"
"Rin-hime?" questioned Naruto.
"What happened to Konoha? I suddenly got a bad vibe..." said Rin.
"Konoha is destroyed by Akatsuki... Okaa-sama, Tsunade Baa-chan and Mikoto Oba-chan are in deep comas and they don't know when they will wake up..." said Naruto, "Rōjin Sandaime (Old Man Third) died... and Jiraiya =-sensei was also killed... Taiyō was captured... and I don't know where she is..."
Rin's eyes were widened in shock since everything she heard was messed up, but Naruto's face was saying more had happened, "This is not the end... something more happened... didn't it... Yōkō (Sunshine)..." she ran up to him and pulled him on to his bed at sat him next to her.
"Those who made out alive started cursing me saying because of me they lost their loved ones... Akatsuki knew I wasn't in Konoha... so they entered and destroyed everything and told the survivors that because I meddled in their business... they destroyed Konoha..." he said as he rests his head on her shoulder.
"And everyone believed in those criminals? How could they?" said Rin in a tone of disbelief, "You are not only protecting the village but the whole country... there are no criminals except Akatsuki in the last three years thanks to you... what's wrong with them?"
"I'm fed up with that... I left Konoha with my status as a Konoha shinobi like they wanted... I don't care about it anymore..." said Naruto.
Rin pushed him of her shoulder and looked at him, "WHAAAT! ARE YOU MAD NARUTO? THIS IS WHAT BOTH AKATSUKI AND THOSE IDIOTS WANTED AND YOU DID THAT?"
"I don't need a status to protect my family and you... My sole purpose is to protect you and them and to find Taiyō before something bad happens..." said Naruto with a determined look.
Rin sighed at her lover, "Very well Naruto-kun... you did what you wanted... and I'll do what I want..."
"I need to go... I came to talk to you since I might end up being a criminal because I will attack everywhere to find her..." said Naruto.
"I don't care... after everything's calmed down... come back here... whatever you do outside is not what matters to me but when you are in the fire capital you will not be a criminal and whoever comes here for you, they will have to deal with me..." said Rin. Then Naruto heard a voice in his mind.
"Naruto... we are captured in the Gedo Mezo..." said Matatabi.
"Isobu is with us... Gyūki and Kurama are also here..." said Chōmei.
'Can you make a link with Isobu?' asked Naruto.
"We can do that... but that man named Nagato absorbed the Gedo Mezo and became its jinchuuriki... you need to find Kokuō and Saiken before he finds them... or our father's world will be destroyed..." said Matatabi.
'I'll do this...' said Naruto to the tailed beasts.
"Naruto remember you are no Ashura's reincarnation anymore nor Sasuke is Indra's... Minato's appearance in you changed the course in which things should have normally happened..." said Kurama.
"I get it... but someone must have become their reincarnation by now..." said Naruto.
"What you said is also true and you have to make them clash and this time they will make up... or this will continue like this..." said Kurama.
"I may know who their reincarnation can be now..." said Naruto.
"I think the same Naruto..." said Minato.
"Naruto you there?" said Rin.
Naruto snapped out from his mind and looked at Rin, "I'm sorry... I was talking with the residents of my mind..."
"Come back with Taiyō... I'll be waiting for you..." Rin then kissed Naruto, who kissed back then pulled away.
"I won't worry..." said Naruto, then he left.
