/I made this as a version of the first part from Aonung's point of view/
XXX
If you looked superficially, Aonung's eyes were a beautiful color. Not unlike his mother's.
Before, those eyes were mischievous... shining with a youthful glow and full of determination.
But now, everything has turned upside down.
Aonung had sad eyes, sadder than a 15-year-old could have.
The marui, in which there used to be family talks, was now empty. He was the only one who kept thinking about the days before anything bad had happened. Thinking about the food his mother, Ronal, prepared. And how her stories lulled him to sleep every night.
Tsireya was a good sister... cute and obedient.
He thought that if he couldn't protect his mother, at least he could keep his younger sister safe...
But he couldn't do it...
That day, both of his arms embraced her lifeless body.
Tsireya was gone. The reason? Protecting the youngest daughter of the Sully family.
Why did she not listen to me?
Why did she insist on risking her life for something impossible?
Didn't she know that father was stronger than anyone? After all, what could the strength of a girl who had never held a weapon do against an Olo'eyktan who had fought countless times?
"She is your daughter..."
The young man's voice trembled. Aonung's youthful face was crumbling.
His sister... had died.
"If you try and stop me again... your destiny will not be to die miserably like her."
To get revenge, you must be patient.
Stay alive... and wait.
If he couldn't fight today because he was too weak, it didn't mean that in the future he would be trapped in shame forever.
Tonowari... Beasts still have hearts that love their children. He was an evil fiend who had no conscience.
When he focused on that big back... vengeance shone in the eyes that had always shown admiration for his father in the past.
Aonung knew that if he obeyed and did not tell anyone, he would be saved. That's why he decided to take advantage of the space to walk in the shadow of his father. To find a way to get revenge one way or another.
The 15-year-old reef Na'vi hugged himself tightly in a corner of the marui that was too big for him to be alone.
The coldness of the dark sky... it was the first time he had experienced it in his life.
A tear fell silently. No sobs or wails came out of his mouth.
Aonung didn't even know how to stop him.
After a family from another tribe had moved there, his father had changed. At night, he didn't even show up to meet them for dinner like before.
"He has a lot of things to take care of these days. Especially when it comes to the foreign Na'vis," the Tsahìk's sweet voice said softly. There was no worry or irritation at all.
She trusted and loved him very much.
That's what Aonung had always known. He thought his father loved her too. Because all this time, the Olo'eyktan had cared about the Tsahìk as much more than his superior. Aonung had not seen them fight before, not even once.
"Ao, you have to eat... the fish will get cold soon."
His sister... Tsireya.
She was a girl who looked as beautiful as a small sea fish with lovely colors. He had appreciated her since those bright eyes first opened.
His Tsireya was perfect and beautiful.
Both his mother and sister were his whole life.
I hadn't realized after finishing dinner. That would be the last time he would see his mother's smile.
It was late at night. He was so anxious that he had to go outside to get some air. His family separates at bedtime. Especially him and Tsireya, who didn't want to disturb the couple's sleep, so they asked to sleep in a nearby marui.
That had been a dark night... the only thing shining seemed to be the aquatic plants near the huts.
His tall and rather figure stopped on the water balcony.
He looked at the fish swimming around him, hoping that picture would calm his mind and help him relax.
Suddenly, those images changed color. From a clear blue sky, they turned a crimson red. For a moment, he subconsciously thought that he was blurry because he was sleepy, but the sound of something tearing made him reconsider.
The young man slowly followed the direction of the blood staining the surface of the sea.
However, the more he walked, the harder his heart would beat.
The sight before him was one that would stay with him for the rest of his life.
His father had his mother's body cut open with a knife in the middle of her chest.
Her eyes, which he had often heard his father praise as more beautiful than the ocean, had turned devoid of any spark of life.
"Fa... Father?"
By the time he had found his own voice, it was over. He lifted him by the neck with one hand.
Those emotionless eyes were oppressing him.
Tonowari did not apply pressure immediately. He waited silently to see the eldest son's reaction in front of him.
If he made a sound... killing him would be the best option.
"Why did you...-"
"There are many things you still don't know. Ronal is no longer my partner."
"But... but..."
"Do you want to die too?"
The tears that fell down his big arms were the answer. A tremor arose in the Olo'eyktan's heart. Maybe it was the bond. The child in front of him was his son after all.
"It doesn't matter. Stop talking nonsense. Remember, I do not even care about the child in her womb."
That night made him realize that his father, Tonowari, didn't even love his mother. At all...
What was the cause of everything?
Jake Sully?
The man his father had been staring at since he set foot in the sand?
That morning was chaotic. Tsireya's screams made him feel even more heartbroken. Her beautiful face was filled with tears. Her body was stained with blood from holding their mother's soulless corpse.
"No... no, no... Mother..."
Aonung silently looked at the fake, crying face of that sea Na'vi.
Tonowari had put on a devastated expression. He was acting; being disrespectful in front of all the children in the tribe without shame. More so when the Sully family came in to see. The performance became even more realistic.
Furiously distressed.
Incredible. Is there anyone who could do that? He had blood on his hands but showed a sad face, pretending to be a victim of what had been done.
How could he do that?
It was hard... after that incident, both him and Tsireya seemed really dull. But the Sullys always comforted them. Tsireya even smiled softly sometimes, which made him feel a little relieved.
They were not that bad.
"You don't smile at all, Aonung."
"What's the point of making me smile?"
Neteyam turned to look at Kiri, who came in and sat nearby. Those worried faces didn't make him feel any better.
"At least Tsireya smiled-"
"Good... her smile is precious."
"Yours too."
The young man shook his head slightly. He didn't feel like smiling at all. Everything around him seemed insipid.
He did not blame the former Toruk Makto for causing his father to become a demon, but he couldn't deny that he felt bad every time they faced each other.
"I'll be right back..."
"Well, see you later."
Shortly after the tragic incident, it happened again. His father, Tonowari, returned one night.
He had a blood-stained spear and something in his other hand.
It was a good thing Tsireya hadn't returned yet. Only he had a shocked expression on his face.
In the pair of finned hands was the head of Neytiri, the wife of the former Toruk Makto.
"If his children ask, tell them that Neytiri will be helping Jake investigate your mother's murderer," his cold voice spoke softly before heading into a corner of the marui. His stern face as he looked at the head rolling on the ground had a perverted smile, so creepy that the young man didn't dare turn to look.
"Don't let Tsireya come here. She is an honest person, unlike you. If she finds out, I will have to get rid of your little sister."
Aonung knew that his father had detected his weakest point. Without Ronal, the one who gave birth to them, Tsireya would become the person he wanted to protect.
And that was not a threat.
Aonung knew that Tonowari would actually do it.
"Alright."
He shut his mouth and gave his word with an aggravated expression before walking over to clean up the blood dripping on the floor to hide the evidence.
Aonung opened his eyes to the sound of loud grunts. Fortunately, there was only the Olo'eyktan's marui in that area, so no Na'vis came out to see the chaos.
The young man stretched out and sat against the outer wall.
The sounds of screams and curses gradually transformed into moans.
It was the first time he had heard Jake's voice like that.
At dawn, Tonowari ordered him to prepare food and some medicine. He, who was not well versed in that field, had to pay a visit to his younger sister marui, which was next to his.
"Ao, last night..." she said silently. Her face looked like she was about to cry, which made him gently raise his hand to comfort her.
"Don't mention it, little sister."
"But..."
"I'll help you move to the center of the tribe. I've got to take care of the Sullys instead of their parents."
Her pretty face shook gently. A small hand that smelled of herbs held his palm.
He thought she probably had some idea of what had happened after hearing their conversation last night.
"Don't tell anyone, Tsireya. We must keep it to ourselves."
Aonung hugged the body of his younger sister. The soft sound of sobs and the strength of the hug in return made the older boy feel even sadder.
"It is not right..."
"I know. Be a little more patient, little sister... if father does something, you must act as if you don't know."
Tsireya will be fine... he hoped so.
Tsireya's transfer of marui was subject to his request. Tonowari recognized this but did not say anything to stop it because he no longer cared about the two siblings.
Therefore, he and Tsireya were busy all day moving her stuff to the nearby marui with the help of the remaining Sullys.
"Have you seen our father and mother?" the eldest son of the former Toruk Makto asked. Neteyam's face was filled with worry. The other man's warrior instincts were better than his. It was not strange for him to have doubts.
"They are hunting down the assassins. My father is the one leading them."
Aonung held Tsireya's hand tightly when she started to act suspicious.
"Oh, okay."
The young warrior let out a sigh of relief before walking away. He would probably be helping Lo'ak fish their dinner for the day.
"Aonung-"
"Tsireya, remember what I told you. Don't tell anyone, please."
She used the pads of her fingers to gently spread them under his bruised eye. Her other hand held his loosely. They only had each other left and they probably wouldn't be able to find anyone else to depend on.
She pursed her lips before nodding. The older boy let go of his younger sister's hand. He still had many duties, including taking care of the locked-up man on the marui.
Rumors began to spread after most of the tribe learned of the disappearance of the former Toruk Makto and his mate. However, it was strange that none of the children knew about this.
Aonung knew that this was the Olo'eyktan's doing, who had deliberately spread strange statements, allowing the ignorant reef Na'vis to find out about this.
And one of those rumors was probably 'Jake Sully is the villain who brutally murdered the Tsahìk.'
"Thank Eywa Olo'eyktan locked him up. If it weren't for him denying me, I would have cut off his head."
The hand that was arranging the food tray stopped. After listening to the chatter of people from his same tribe passing in front of his marui, cloudy blue eyes looked at the face of his younger sister. Tsireya also had a harsh expression on her face.
Their father had brainwashed their people.
"Take care of them, Tsireya. If anything happens, their kids will be in danger."
"Yes," the girl nodded. After putting a smile on her face, she walked towards Lo'ak, who was running after them to go have dinner together.
"Aren't you coming?" the naughty boy asked the reef boy behind him.
"I'll be there soon. I have something to take care of."
"Ah... let's go, Tsireya."
Lo'ak took the initiative to grab her wrist, the little scoundrel, and encouraged her to follow him.
From his point of view, he could only feel a faint sensation. On the inside, he said nothing to dissuade him.
It could be seen that the middle child had a secret affection for his younger sister. Nevertheless, if he knew the truth about what happened to his parents, the kids wouldn't be able to separate themselves from the tribe.
The boy turned around and walked away, without realizing that someone had been watching.
The tray of food was placed next to his weak body, and the former Toruk Makto's downcast face made the boy feel even more guilty.
Perhaps it was because the one who had done such horrible things was his own father. He couldn't help but feel bad.
Jake himself didn't seem to know that he had come in. It would be better to let him rest and recover.
However, when leaving the marui, the tall figure of the chief of the Metkayina tribe approached just in time.
Tonowari looked at his son from the corner of his eye before finally losing interest.
"Ma muntxatan, get up and take your medicine."
Aonung walked away with an angry face that his father couldn't see.
One day, he would finally kill that inferior to a beast being.
Lo'ak had seen everything from the beginning. The hand holding the wooden railing was clenched so tightly that it was pale, nearly drawing blood. Just when he was about to turn around and prepare to run to tell his sisters and brother about what he had discovered, he suddenly found himself covered by the palm of someone's hand.
"Mmphh!"
Aonung's ears moved softly when he heard something far away. It was now twilight.
When he stood on his feet, he first question that would come up would be: 'Did your duties have anything to do with the reason you were late?' But it turned out to be...
"Didn't Lo'ak come with you?"
"What do you mean?"
"He said he would come after you."
Aonung looked away from the older Sully and gazed at his younger sister. At that moment, he realized that he had made a mistake.
Because of Tsireya.
Who started to sob-
"What's wrong with you? You've been sitting here crying since Lo'ak left."
"No... uh, it's nothing."
Kiri caressed her small back. Her trembling, soft sounding voice made the listeners feel sorry.
The sea boy's big palms clenched tightly.
"That guy didn't go after me. He'll probably be back soon."
Yes, he too hoped Lo'ak would 'return'.
"...Then I'll share his portion. C'mon, time to eat."
A thin hand opened and invited the young man in before starting to share the hot food in clay pots distributed around the circle.
Eyes the color of the sea looked at the bound body lying on the sand. He opened his large hand and grabbed that thin arm until he bled, before using force to lift Lo'ak off the ground.
"Mmmph!"
A gasping sound came from the woven rope that was tied tightly to his mouth until there was a cut of blood at the corner of his mouth.
"Olo'eyktan, what should we do with him?" the tribe's army under his rule asked after handing over the young boy who had half of the demon's blood in his body and hands.
"I will take care of it myself. Go back," a cold voice spoke for the first time. It made the boy who was struggling to stand, his whole body trembling.
Soon, the sounds of footsteps disappeared. Only the two of them remained.
Lo'ak had no idea where they were going to take him. All he knew was that his entire body was completely wet. The roar of the water made his ears ring.
After a while, the trip ended. He only felt the impact of the waves hitting his legs.
His lips became free before finally being thrown into the water.
"Hey! What the fuck! Tonowari! Where did you bring me? Ugly fish face!"
Lo'ak whipped his legs to keep his body afloat. At that moment, he was blindfolded, and his arms were tied, unable to help himself as he wanted.
"Damn you! I'll tell them! I'll tell everyone the truth. Just you wait until Neteyam finds out!" his thin lips growled loudly.
The water waves continued to crash against him until he began to float away.
Tonowari pushed his Tsurak further away. Looking at the figure that was struggling and continually cursing him.
Come on... louder.
Flail like a wounded animal with no way to escape.
Let it know there is food here.
"Tonowari! You bastard! Get me out of here!"
The young man began to lose his temper. In fact, he hadn't expected the other man to be so violent. The worst thing for a child like him was to be chained down.
But why... why?
!
One of his legs had been bit so badly that he didn't feel anything.
No...
His leg was gone.
"Aaargh! It hurts! Ah! Wha-"
Lo'ak tried to swim to save his life although he did not know how, but the smell of blood and the fact that he only had one leg left made it difficult.
"No-!"
His entire body was forcibly knocked down. The sound howling underwater was too soft, to the point that Tonowari, who was waiting to hear it, raised his figurative eyebrows in disapproval.
He wanted more desperate screams.
The sounds that would normally make anyone's hair stand on end made the gentle Olo'eyktan lose interest in the end. He finally turned around and rode his Tsurak back to the village.
Down below, the sea turned scarlet.
His once perfect body was being torn apart so savagely that some of his flesh fell to the bottom of the sea.
The power of the great hunter between each tug was enough to tear flesh and bone until splitting the body in two. The entrails were scattered, creating a gruesome sight.
There were some that floated to the surface and others that disappeared into the darkness.
First, it ate and crushed the lower part of the legs, covering its mouth in blood.
The Pxazang shook and tore a tendon until the head and body were separated.
The last thing that entered its mouth... was the young Sully's head.
The sharp teeth bit as if playing with delicious foot. Until the sap-colored eyeballs, similar to his father's, popped out of his sockets.
By the time the lonely Tulkun arrived...
The water was already stained with blood.
Throughout the night, he could not close his eyes and fall asleep. He sat worried until the sky lit up.
Finally, he hurried back to check on the Sully's marui again. And Neteyam himself was sitting and staring at the bowl in which Lo'ak's portion had been divided.
"You didn't sleep?" Aonung asked as he looked at the eldest Sully.
"I've been waiting for him to come back since last night."
Neteyam's worried eyes made the reef Na'vi move away.
"He probably wandered off until he lost track of time."
"Lo'ak isn't normally like that. He knows he must be back on time... he always comes home."
His lithe body stretched. One hand took his personal knife and hung it around his waist, before immediately walking past Aonung's body.
The Na'vi watched that determined back until he was out of sight. He understood how much he cared about his younger brother.
Because he is also like that with Tsireya...
"Neteyam...? Have you... Aonung, have you seen my brother?" Kiri asked. She was sleepy and had just woken up, to which Aonung responded truthfully.
"He went out to look for Lo'ak."
"Hasn't that goof returned yet? Did something happen...?"
Her eyes looked at the tall guest for a moment before turning away. That was a questioning look and a part of him was already blaming himself. Because both him and Lo'ak had fought at the beginning.
"Sorry. I'll bring some fish in the afternoon."
"Lo'ak will return with the fish."
She rejected him... It didn't sound like she was that pessimistic about Lo'ak yet.
Aonung walked away from the marui before heading towards Tsireya to prepare the next meal for Jake Sully.
"Aonung, last night I saw father come down from his Tsurak."
"Maybe it had to do with Lo'ak-"
"I cannot take it anymore. It's too much."
The older sibling bent down and picked up the tray of food. Dull, sparkless blue eyes looked at his younger sister.
"Sis, we talked about this."
"But-"
"I don't want to lose you too."
A hand pushed a stranded lock into the hair of the girl in front of him. Although he felt for the Sullys, if he had to trade them for Tsireya's life, he probably wouldn't accept it.
The same old marui, smelling of wet and dried blood. His long ears moved gently. He was aware of the Na'vi who entered.
"Aonung... are my kids safe?" a hoarse voice asked. It was the first time Jake had started a conversation after going through something like that.
But he chose not to respond. He just gave a quick look at the body.
Bruised with the marks of a disgusting action. His lips were dry and chapped, with a faint flash of blood. It made the great former Toruk Makto look very disgraced.
Jake's eyes were desperate. But his concern for his son made the man decide to reach out for his wounded body and try to reassure him.
...
The boy withdrew his hand and took a step back before he finally ran away.
He was afraid... too afraid to say that Lo'ak was gone.
Too afraid that that broken face would cry again.
Those images would make him feel guilty for the rest of his life.
Jake Sully deserved to smile. He couldn't deny that the first time they met he forgot to look at that brave face.
The Olo'eyktan's calm face was like the surface of still water before a rainstorm. Those cold eyes now looked at him, and he was completely able to recognize the sensation.
"Father, is there something wrong?" his young voice asked softly with a feeling of trepidation in his chest.
"Tsireya, your younger sister... came to cry at my feet."
Hearing this, the young man was stunned. His palms clenched tightly before slowly loosening.
"What did she say?"
"'Please, stop doing these bad things and let Jake go.''"
"Father, I..."
The boy was not trembling like a fish out of water. He quickly knelt down in front of the other man.
The fear of losing something important was making him lose control of his emotions.
"Didn't I tell you not to let her know?"
"Yes... you did."
"Then there is no need for me to spare your little sister's life," his low voice said indifferently. That made the young man's heart beating in panic.
"Father- Olo'eyktan... please, don't do anything to Tsireya."
"If I let her go, she would only be a nuisance. Aonung... please tell me. What would I gain if I spared that child's life?"
The Olo'eyktan of the Metkayina leaned down, extended his palm, and pulled the tail before him until his biological son screamed in pain.
"I'll do anything for you. Anything, really. Please don't do this to my little sister."
At that moment, he had no strength to fight. If he wanted to survive and see the final moments of that beast, he would have to leave everything behind.
If there was no Tsireya... He would most likely lose himself on the paradisiacal land of the Great Mother.
Aonung begged through tears-
"If I ask for something, will you comply with everything I say?"
"Yes, I will. Just ask. I'll do anything."
"Kiri; Jake Sully's daughter. Go and take her to the end of the village."
The future Olo'eyktan's was filled with hesitation, but when he looked into his father's once kind eyes for an instant...
He didn't have many options. He couldn't help it.
Tsireya was his younger sister.
'Aonung... are my kids safe?' a voice in his head asked. His face was full of pain and agony, making him feel so guilty that he couldn't hold back his tears.
Tsireya. Tsireya must stay safe.
Jake, please forgive someone as selfish as me.
"Alright."
Everything wa silent before she noticed him.
"Kiri... I'm sorry."
"What fo- ah!"
The body of the forest Na'vi was thrown down deep in the forest. Her amber eyes widened in surprise. She stepped forward and asked for help to the other Na'vi who was with her.
But the boy stayed still... eyes trembling, bloodshot.
Before he walked away-
Her body was thrown and hit against the hard ground so harshly that she could not speak. Her face fell into shock as she focused on the large Na'vi in front of her.
"Kiri... will your voice be more tormented than Lo'ak's? ...If I use a stone to break your arms and legs, they will be nothing more than pieces of meat."
"Lo'ak...? What does that mean, Olo'eyktan?"
Her small body backed up until her back was met with a large rock. However, the further she retreated, the closer Tonowari came with a disturbing expression on his face.
"Unfortunately, I couldn't torture Neytiri like I wanted. But it's not like her son died peacefully anyway."
Woosh!
The stone in his hand was launched into her eye socket until her vision was completely blinded. Kiri screamed in agony, holding her palms tightly.
"Graagh! Hurts...!"
The pain gradually increased until she was moaning in pain, writhing on the ground. But soon, one of her hands was violently crushed by a large knee.
"Are you ready? Raise your voice as much as you can."
"No- I, ah! Stop!"
A big, sharp stone crashed into the girl's shoulder. It was so brutal that the sound of bones breaking could be heard.
Tonowari struck repeatedly until the flesh and sinews were torn. Kiri squirmed from side to side but couldn't escape from the pain. One eye shed blood and the other shed tears. Her mouth let out hoarse yells, but the blood-stained stone continued to hit again and again.
Tonowari crushed the arms and legs first. Beating her until the flesh turned soft, like mud under water.
The forest Na'vi's body twitched forcibly as the nerves in her limbs were damaged. Her eyes widened as if she had lost consciousness after experiencing extreme suffering.
A perverted smile broke at the sight of the thin body covered in blood before violently throwing the stone into the center of her chest, making a stream of thick, dark blood come out of her mouth.
Stronger... non-stop.
Ribs, skull or even internal organs... it all had to be more crushed than this.
It was a pity-
After smashing the stone against her chest, the cries of pain ceased.
Unfortunately-
She fell too fast... he wanted her to suffer even more than that.
Could Kiri come back to life?
What was the point of dying quickly like that?
Even though he was upset because her body could no longer scream in pain, the sound of beaten flesh and splashing blood as he lifted the stone from her messy body was still loud.
There were bright red blood drops and many pieces of meat on his tall body. A bored expression appeared on his face after he delivered the final blow.
"Aonung."
"..."
The future Olo'eyktan emerged from a nearby light green tree trunk. His eyes were red, and sobbing could still be heard.
Tonowari didn't care about those things.
Instead, he issued an order so cold-bloodedly that the young man almost wanted to vomit.
"Take the remains of her flesh and mix it with theIlus' food."
"..."
"Then, tell someone to serve some meat in front of me. Before Jake Sully's eyes," the Olo'eyktan spoke with a happy smile, without any remorse from his grave sin.
The true demons were not the Skypeople.
But him; a beast in the form of his own father...
- Tonowari, you piece of shit...
