Ding!* Mei was using a hammer to bend the iron.
Ding!* Each hit was a reminder of why she's taking the support course in her school.
Ding!* To create and to move forward.
Ding!* But this was different for her.
Ding!* She wanted to protect and serve like a hero. To do more than just a support hero in the backline.
Ding!* She grabs the hot iron with a V-bit tong and places it inside the great beyond. She dropped her tools went straight to the computer and started to create the helmet. She walks away and looks at the reactor on the window of her office. Dayman already put the reactor outside and he began to do the finishing touches for it. She was eyeing him. Her intentions are set in her mind. She went back to the computer.
Mei: "Thirty minutes... Tch..." Mei walked away and started to create a small antenna.
Meanwhile in Japan.
Ezekiel was on the sofa with his legs crossed.
Ezekiel: "Mom. I have a question."
Midnight was reading a book and she looked up and spoke to him.
Midnight: "Yes, dear?"
Ezekiel looked at his phone and said:
Ezekiel: "Your nickname. You told me how you got it... But... I want to change that. For myself of course."
She raises an eyebrow and puts her book away.
Midnight: "Elaborate dear."
Mei grabs a small box and puts it on her desk. She was focus on making this small antenna to see if she could get infinite signals.
Ezekiel: "I want to earn that nickname. But not because you made villains go to sleep or how you changed the policy of how heroes would wear nah not like that."
Midnight:" Ezekiel we talked about this. You can't be that brutal."
Mei was already finishing the antenna. She was smiling, but not a normal one. A psychopath one.
Ezekiel: "But how many villains are they going to be? If you don't show fear? If you don't show who's at the top of the food chain? There's a time in being a hero and-"
Midnight: "Ezekiel. They are still human. Not some animals you see on the streets. They need to be locked up for their criminal actions and face the consequences. You're not possibly thinking about hurting them to the point of sending them to the hospital right?"
Ezekiel: "I'm changing that nickname of yours. They'll start praying to face any other hero other than me."
Midnight slightly smirks and said
Midnight: "Oh? So you think they won't get revenge once they come out of the hospital or prison right? Because it sounds like-"
Ezekiel cut her and said.
Ezekiel: "They won't have a second chance. Do they want to fight again? Fine by me. But believe me, mom. I'm not sending them to prison the second encounter."
Midnight was taken aback by what her son said and she looked at him closely moved her eyes to the table and saw some unopened pills on the counter. She looked at her son and spoke
Midnight: "You didn't take your pills today huh? I got them yesterday when you were sleeping, sweetheart. *Ezekiel looks at the pills on the counter* With this attitude of yours... You're making mommy scared."
She wasn't scared of her son. She agreed with him. But because she doesn't want her son to hurt anyone anymore, she's trying to manipulate him to take his pills.
Ezekiel: "...Sorry..." Ezekiel got up and grabbed the pills.
Midnight gently smiles.
Midnight: "That's a good boy~" she then got up from her chair.
Midnight: "Dear I'll be back. I have a meeting with the heroes today. Behave alright?" She blew a kiss and left her place.
Mei needed more wires for the antenna she put the unfinished antenna on her desk and walked outside of her office. She was looking for more wires and she looked at a desk in the distance and grabbed the wires from underneath it. She quickly walked towards her office again and placed the last wires on the antenna. She quickly pulled her phone out and she wrapped the antenna around it with a rubber band.
Mei: "Please work... Please work..."
Ezekiel was taking the pills in the kitchen and walked away towards the couch he looked around to see if there was a remote for the TV.
Ezekiel: "Mom has a TV, but she barely uses it... Where's the remote?"
Mei was waiting patiently for a signal.
Mei: "Please... Please..."
Meanwhile, outside of the mansion, Dayman was already finishing the reactor outside next to the beach. He told the robot to make the reactor look up in the sky.
Dayman: "Perfect. Now... For our little hostage situation time... *He looks at Mei in her office* Now all the heroes would arrive to save your ass." He walks away.
Mt. Lady arrives at Midnight's place and sees Ezekiel and she smiles.
Mt. Lady: "If isn't my favorite nephew ~"
Ezekiel was already fed up with her, but he smiled at her.
Ezekiel: "Hello... miss Yu..."
Mt. Lady raised an eyebrow.
Mt. Lady: "Aren't you forgetting something, young man?"
Ezekiel frustrated sighs and looks at her.
Ezekiel: "Hello auntie...(Whispering) You're not even related to mom..."
Mei was still looking at the antenna and she finally got a signal.
Mei: "YES!! AHAHA!" She checks on the Internet to see if it's working.
Mei: "YES!! OH MY- I'M A GENIUS!!! *Clears throat* Of course I am." She smirked and saw Ana walking towards her.
Ana: "Mrs. Hatsume. I brought you the logs you told me to get. Australian Buloke." *She dropped the ironwood on the floor and she sat down on a chair. She looks at the machine working on a helmet.
Ana: "Is it time Mrs. Hatsume? *She opens the back of her head and wires begin to fall*
Mei looks at the device that it was finished and she walks towards it and grabs the helmet. The helmet had a smile on its face. Like a hyena. She looks at Ana and smiles gently.
Mei: "Yeah... All I need is to grab this wood and mix it with the armor." She picked up the ironwood and threw it inside the machine. She began to throw away the metals that Ana gave her. From the liquid metal. From the hardest metal. She went straight to the computer and before she could do anything, Ana spoke.
Ana: "Mrs. Hatsume please remember to put the ironwood first so Dayman can't crush your body because of the metal."
Mei nodded and did the rest. She grabbed the helmet again and threw it inside the machine she switched the lever and the great beyond began to create the armor. She sat down looking at Ana.
Mei: "I'm so nervous..." She was shaking, but Ana gently grabbed her hands and said.
Ana: "Then you are ready. If you're scared to do this. Then you are ready to do it." Mei gently smiles at Ana
Meanwhile in Japan.
Midnight sat down at a meeting of pro heroes and pro heroes who were teachers at UA High School.
Endeavor spoke first.
Endeavor: "We still can't find her... This... She's probably not even in Japan anymore..."
Mirko scoffs and looks at Endeavor.
Mirko: "Then let's go global. We can't just cancel this search because we can't find one of the students. That's unfair she's probably alive."
Hawks looks at Mirko and says:
Hawks: "It is unfair, but we really can't enter the other countries without their pro heroes getting our way. Do you know how much of a pain in the ass they would be? Sorry I say we should-"
Power loader slams his fist into the ground.
Power loader: "What?! Hell no! She's my student and I'll be damned if I'm going to let you guys cancel this search!"
Most of the pro heroes were looking at him and Aizawa spoke:
Aizawa: "I know it's hard, Power loader... But we have no choice, but to cancel this. It was her recklessness that caused-"
Power loader got up with tears in his eyes.
Power loader: "YOU'RE SAYING THAT BECAUSE SHE'S NOT YOUR STUDENT!! *He takes a deep breath and looks at the other pro heroes* I... I... If I have to do this alone fine! I'll do it! Maybe she's not in the heroes course like the others... *His voice was trembling* But she's in this school! And she's my student!"
Endeavor: "...We understand, but-"
Power loader: "BUT!? BUT WHAT?! I'LL PROTECT MY STUDENTS LIKE IF THEY WERE MY CHILDREN! I WON'T STOP UNTIL I FIND HER!!!"
Meanwhile in Midnight's apartment.
Mt. Lady: "Urgh... Today was such a boring day... No seriously! The press wanted to take pictures all day! And-"
Ezekiel wasn't even hearing her, he was just watching the TV and nodding every time she called her name.
Meanwhile in the Bahamas.
Dayman set everything up. He had his throne ready and the shape-shifting robot as well. He was reading his lines on a piece of paper.
Dayman: " Alright... Good evening my... What time is it in Japan? *He looks at one of the robots. The robot told him it was in the morning* Mhm... Thirteen hours ahead... Great... *Clears throat* Good morning Japan..."
Mei was waiting for the armor to finish creating.
Mei: "Oh dear... Okay... Calm down... Calm down... You were at the sports festival... You did some decent fights... Okay..." Mei's heart was beating fast and she was scared. She rarely gets trained like a hero and now she's facing a villain to stop this madness.
Ana: "Mrs. Hatsume. Remember your breathing."
Mei: "Y-yeah... Thanks..."
She looked at her phone and was in a text chat ready to make the right call.
Mei: "You better not be sleeping..."
Ana: "Who?"
Mei looks at Ana.
Mei: "Oh... Hehehe... A friend... I also need him here... To help of course..."
Ana: "Ah. Friend. So tell me. Is this friend mostly talking to you?"
Mei: "N-now... Just friends..."
Ana: "Right. Friends."
Ding!* The device was ready. Mei opened the device and saw the armor.
Mei: " Oh boy... Alright... It's time..." She ran towards her phone and was looking outside of the window of her office and saw Dayman getting ready. He had a blue cape with a metal armor. He sat down on his throne and was ready to make his speech.
Mei: "Alright... You better answer me, you cartoonish hero..."
Meanwhile in Midnight's apartment.
Mt. Lady was watching TV with Ezekiel. Looks like she finally got bored and was watching the TV.
Ezekiel was minding his own business until he got a message on his phone. He quickly looks at the message to see who it is.
In text.
'Ezekiel! I need your help! Some crazy villain kidnapped me!!'
'Ezekiel???'
Ezekiel looked at Mt. Lady and quickly began to text her.
'The hell you mean you were kidnapped ???'
Mei texted:
'Long story short. Just watch the TV. I got kidnapped by some villain who's OBSESSED with me! He made a reactor and-'
Ezekiel looks up from the TV and the TV changes.
Mt. Lady: "mhm? The hell is that?"
Ezekiel looked at his phone and texted:
'IS THAT YOU?! HE'S HOLDING A GUN AT YOU?! MEI. MEI."
Mei texted:
'No. It's a shape-shifting robot. I'm fine. I need your help. Please. He's making a reactor like I said earlier. This reactor will enchant him with the full peak of his quirk. He's going to enter the reactor and once he does that! He wants to face EVERY PRO HERO!!! That's his plan! Once he beats them! He will release this reactor to the entire world! Do you know the chaos and destruction he will cause?! The war of heroes and villains will be eternal!!'
Ezekiel texted:
'Ight. Give me a few.'
Ezekiel looks up to see what this villain is saying. Mt. Lady was also looking at this and was slowly reaching her phone and texted midnight.
Meanwhile in the meeting. The power loader was still arguing with the heroes Midnight was just observing this situation, she heard her phone ring and quickly looked at the phone.
'Turn on the TV. The girl is on the news
Midnight got up from her chair and turned on the TV on the meeting and everyone stopped arguing and was looking at this closely.
Power loader: "Mei..."
Hawks: "Oh no..."
Dayman was holding the fake Mei at gunpoint and he was sitting on his metal throne and said:
Dayman: "Morning. Morning. My fellow heroes from Japan.. I think you know who's this lovely girl that it's on the floor beaten. But if you don't. I'll remind you. Her name is called Mei Hatsume. She's a student in the number one school to teach kids how to be... Pro heroes... *He chuckles* It's laughable... Every student is separated to an extent. But also more pathetic that she was kidnapped right in front of your gates..."
He shows them footage of how she was kidnapped. Most of the viewers at home were shocked at how easy it was.
Dayman: "But I'm guessing you can't be asked to help her knowing that she's not in the heroes course..."
The real Mei was watching this at her office, she grabbed the armor from the device and placed it on the desk.
Dayman: "If you look closely behind me. There are more than ten phones behind me. You have two minutes to call. Each number will be shown on the screen and one of these phones will ring. But one will be right. *He looked to his right and saw the reactor turning on. He chuckles and looks at the camera*
Mei grabs the wires that Ana had and places them on the helmet.
Ezekiel was watching this closely, but his shock collar was beeping. Mt. Lady was looking at him with concern in her eyes.
Mt. Lady: "Hey... Are you alright?"
Dayman: "It's funny really. So many kids. But each class is treated not even equally. The highest from their school are the class A students. Royalty after royalty they are treated better than the rest. Because they see the potential... Pathetic... That's not what a hero is. Heroes are supposed to be treated equally not because of a rank..."
The pro heroes from around the world were looking at this. Most of them were agreeing with him, but others did not. Heroes should be treated equally. Especially in a school full of generations of young heroes.
Dayman: "But you forgot one thing... You don't. A couple of days ago. The former number one hero in Japan, All Might saved a class A student. It only took 24 hours. But for her...? *He points the gun at the fake Mei* Days? Weeks? Why? Because she's not in the hero course? Sounds like favoritism... *He grabs a sand watch and places it on his throne* You better hurry heroes... Your student is going to die..."
Ezekiel got up.
Mei finally transferred Ana's consciousness to the helmet.
Mei: "Alright, Ana... Just... Please talk to me now..." She puts on the helmet.
Mei: "Ana?"
Ana: "Mrs. Hatsume."
Mei smiles and looks at the other pieces of armor that are on the desk. She grabs some wrists that she made and raises both of her hands in the air.
The armor flew towards her.
Most of the pro heroes started to call from the numbers that were on the screen, but none of them were the real ones. Power loader was losing hope, but he tried and tried. He looks at the others to see if they are making calls, but nothing.
Power loader: "Please..." He still tries again.
Dayman looks at the reactor in the distance and one of the robots looks at Dayman and nods. The reactor shoot a massive white beam in the sky causing the sky where he was to turn pure light. He smiles.
Dayman looks at the camera.
Dayman: "I guess your time is u-"
A phone began to ring. The civilians, the pro heroes, and everyone around the world stopped what they were doing and heard the phone ringing.
Dayman was impressed, but he smirks.
Dayman: "I guess... They cared about you... Huh?"
Power loader finally found the right number. He was the only one who didn't give up. He was shaking, but he had hope.
Power loader: "That was it... Right? He's going to release he-"
BANG!* Dayman got up and spoke again.
Dayman: "Five seconds late. If any of you pro heroes want me. I'm in the Bahamas. In the Acklins and please... Don't keep me waiting..." The broadcast then shut down.
Mt. Lady was holding her mouth with her hands and she saw that Ezekiel was walking away.
Mt. Lady: "Hey! Where are you-"
She sees that he opened the door.
In text:
'Mei?'
'I'm fine... For now... Please... I need your help to stop this guy...'
'On my way'
Ezekiel broke his shock collar, but he put on his helmet and handcuffs and walked away. Mt. Lady was behind him and she said:
Mt. Lady: "The hell are you going?! You're no- *the realization hits Mt. Lady* Oh no... EZEKIEL! WAIT!!"
Dayman was walking towards the reactor.
Mei was getting ready as well.
Ezekiel created a door and opened it. He was right in front of the meeting. He heard the pro heroes arguing and yelling at each other.
Midnight was also arguing but stopped when she saw that her phone was getting bombarded by Mt. Lady texts. She looks at them.
In texts:
'Ezekiel is gone!!!'
Midnight gasped in shock and Mirko that was right next to her spoke:
Mirko: "Something's wrong?"
Midnight looked at her and didn't say anything.
Mt. Lady was running towards, Ezekiel before he could enter the door.
Mt. Lady: "NO YOU AINT!" She grew to her gigantic form and grabbed him with her hands.
Mt. Lady: "Sorry nephew... That's not going-"
Ezekiel opened her hand like a door closed It and entered the other door that he created.
Mt. Lady: "W-what-"
Ezekiel left.
Midnight was tapping her fingers on the desk she was in. She was thinking to herself what's going to happen now...
Mirko: "Oi, Nemuri. Something's wrong? If it's about the student... I'm sor-"
KNOCK KNOCK!* The loud knock on the door made every pro hero stop arguing.
Midnight: "Oh no..."
Ezekiel opened the door and walked in the middle of the meeting. He stopped and looked at every single one of them. Like a predator looking at his prey. Hawks spokes first.
Hawks: "...Who... Are you?"
Ezekiel broke his handcuffs. Midnight was already in a state of panic, but she was trying to keep it cool. Mirko was looking at midnight and then at the figure that just entered the meeting right now.
Endeavor looks at Midnight and looks at Ezekiel.
Endeavor: "Nemuri..."
Ezekiel puts his hands on the side of the helmet and squishes it with his hands and his head to break it. The helmet fell to the ground and everyone saw Ezekiel's face...
Mirko: "...Wait... *She looks at Midnight*
Hawks: "...Oh shoot..."
Snipe: "He looks so uncanny in daylight..."
Aizawa: "..."
Power loader: "Ezekiel..."
Midnight: "Son..."
Ezekiel was furious by his expression. His eyes look exactly like hers and her expression is like that of his father. The light was shining on his face. Making it more obvious who he was related to.
Ectoplasm: "Stay alert everyone..."
Thirteen: "Yeah..."
Ezekiel took a deep breath and spoke.
Ezekiel: "My name is Ezekiel Graham Kayama. Father Edward Graham a cartoon animator from America. Mother Nemuri Kayama a pro hero named Midnight from Japan."
All eyes were on Midnight.
Ezekiel: "I must say. Mei is still alive." Power loader ran towards him and said:
Power loader: "What?! How! She just-"
Ezekiel shows the text message.
Ezekiel: "Fifty seconds ago after she got 'killed' but she doesn't trust any hero... Except one."
Power loader: "Then who?!"
Ezekiel: "Me. I'm not asking you all for permission because I would careless about your rules. But I won't stand here and let my friend die. I'm only telling you that she's alive."
Aizawa got up and spoke:
Aizawa: "That's against your rehabilitation program rules. You can't just-"
Ezekiel: "Then stop me." Aizawa was looking at him with his quirk. But he realized that it was not working.
Aizawa: "...You do not know about being a hero."
Ezekiel: "A hero needs a heart of gold. Not a meeting to cancel a hostage situation."
Aizawa bit his tongue and sat down. Another pro hero named Steve got up and walked towards Ezekiel.
Steve: "You got some guts, kid... It's quite shocking that this piece of work had a son."
Midnight was not amused by what Steve said.
Steve: "But let me be clear kid... If you're in rehab that means you did some bad stuff... Mhm... Guess midnight wasn't a great mother to you huh?"
Ezekiel: "What did you just say about my mom?"
Steve was right in his face
Steve: "You heard me. Knowing your mother's history. It's a big surprise that she even let someone hit it raw. Although not surprised as well. Listen kid your story is cool and all... But we do not care... Let the professionals do their work alright? *He grabbed Ezekiel by the shoulder*
Steve: "Midnight get your so-"
Without a blink of an eye. Ezekiel grabbed him by the throat and slammed him into the ground. The ground broke around Steve on impact and Ezekiel only put his foot slightly on his head and he was slowly getting crushed by the force of his strength. The room was shocked at the speed and strength of Midnight's son. It was too fast and they could barely react to it.
Ezekiel: "LISTEN TO ME!!!" His voice was like thunder in the room.
Ezekiel: "I HAVE KILLED AND SLAUGHTER HEROES AND VILLAINS! BUT I AM A MAN THAT WANTS TO CHANGE!! FOR I ALSO WANT TO BE A HERO LIKE MY MOTHER... BUT LISTEN TO ME."
Midnight had her eyes wide open in shock.
Ezekiel: "MY NAME IS EZEKIEL GRAHAM KAYAMA! AND I ALWAYS MAKE MYSELF CLEAR!"
He stops yelling.
Ezekiel: "If I find, Mei Hatsume dead. Cut into pieces, hurt, or even scratch. *He looks at power loader* I will not forgive myself. But... *He looks at the other heroes* I will also not forgive you all. For this system have failed your student! If I find my friend... Dead... I will enter this room once more and you will all know why in America they used to call me the butcher of heroes and Executioner of villains. *He pulls out a jack in the box and places it on the floor* Anyone moves. Midnight: "Ezekiel breath..."
He looks at his mother.
Ezekiel: "Mother. I must go. I will bring a souvenir to you and Auntie. Bless you, Mother."
Ezekiel was reaching the door and before he could leave. His mother spoke.
Midnight: "Son! Wait!"
Ezekiel stops and looks at midnight.
Ezekiel: "Mother you can move." She got up and walked towards him.
Midnight: "You... You... *She looks at the other heroes stuck in the same position* Uhm... You need a costume sweetie! Here let me help you!"
She left the room with him.
Mirko: (Oh she's smart)
Meanwhile in the Bahamas.
Dayman was right in front of the reactor.
Dayman: "Finally... My work finally paid off... Now the whole world will meet the master of magnetism -"
BOOM!* Something landed behind Dayman and he quickly turned around and saw it.
Dayman: "Mei-"
Mei extended her arm with the armor she created and was pointing towards, Dayman and she shot him with the repulsers. Causing him to fly away.
Dayman: "ACK!"
CRASH!* He hit a palm tree and was looking at Mei with anger in his eyes.
Dayman: "DAMNIT WOMAN!" He ran towards the reactor, But Mei flew towards him pinning him to the sand on the ground and she spoke.
Mei: "I won't let you get near that reactor!"
Dayman was starting to panic, but he smirked and said:
Dayman: "hehehe... There's always a plan b."
He pressed a button that he had on his left hand that he took from his pocket and the entire island broke in half. One started to float in the air rapidly with Mei and Dayman. Mei looked around and saw that the reactor was on the ground with the other half of the island, but she saw something remarkable. It was a city underneath the Island. A robotic city.
Dayman: "KILL HER!!!" Dayman barely could move her with her quirk, but she pushed her away causing her to free fall. Dayman got up and jumped as well towards the reactor.
Mei: "Damnit! Ana!"
Ana: "Repulsers are online."
Mei's armor started to create a jetpack to hold her free fall and she started to float with the repulsers of the jetpack and her feet.
Mei: "This baby can hold me! Hahaha!"
Dayman Finally entered the reactor head first like an eagle sky diving towards his food. The reactor caused a massive wave of light that hit the other half of the island that was in the air, pushing it far above the clouds.
Mei: "No! I was distracted! Argh! We gotta get him before -"
KABOOM!*
Dayman: "YES!!! I CAN FEEL MY POWER RISING!!! HAHAHAHA!!! I'M BURNING BRIGHTER THAN A SUPERNOVA!!!" The echo of his voice inside the reactor was chilling at Mei.
Ana: "Mrs. Hatsume. Are you ready to face a villain?"
Mei's armor was a silver color, but you can see the ironwood covering the iron inside of it. Mei took a deep breath and saw Dayman emerging from the reactor. He looks at her and she looks at him.
Mei: "Yeah... I'm ready..."
Dayman pointed at her and thousands of robots were flying towards her. Multiple battleships that were inside this underground city were flying towards her.
She looked around and saw metal flying around like a hurricane and Dayman was creating stairs of metal with the metal around him.
Dayman: "You see this, Mei?! How easy I can use my quirk now?! DO YOU SEE IT NOW!!! HAHAHAHA!!!" He raises his hands and he creates a train with little to no effort.
Dayman: "NOBODY CAN'T STAND AGAINST THIS RAW POWER!!!"
Mei was looking at the army that Dayman released toward her. She takes a deep breath and looks at him.
Mei: "Alright, Ana... Let's hope... Man o War can keep up..."
Ana: "Of course it will, Mrs. Hatsume."
