Chapter 5: Trying to figure out Christmas
Back in the safety of his home and dawn in his Robe (As he prefers to go bare at times) Asmodus started to read Christmas storybook, by Christmas storybook as the niggging wondering of what Christmas was all about. Late into the night he studied the books as he looked around his bedroom and his home as he had decorated the place with tinsel and Christmas lights and other festive things he brought back from Christmas town as even Alu was sleeping in her bed with a candy cane in her mouth as he smiled wishing to understand this feeling far diffrent then what he felt in lust "There has to be a logical explanation to explain this Christmas thing" he pondered as he got an idea and grabbed a book titled "The hitchhiker's guide to the scientific method" as the sin of lust read it over having an idea.
The next day both Loopy and Lyle had a large icepack on there heads moaning in pain as Blitzo was near them his arms crossed in exasperation on what the two were doing as Frizzaroli, Oliver and Krim were in a large room with a large iron door "You poisoned us for the last time brat" snarled Loopy as he slammed the door close locking the three inside. "Was that really necessary?" Akesd Blitzo "Yes they need to learn how to be have *winces* uggg, we'll let them out tonight if they promise to behave we dont need your parents on us oooh" said Lyle in pain "Do you need me and barbie to make you some hang over medicine?" Asked Blitzo as the two robots looked at him…"Yes please/Please do" they said in Unison as Blitzo walked off to make the medicine as the doorbell ring "Ooooh my head" said Lyle "Me to, it better not be Wally asking some who knows what to sell" said Loopy "The door is open!" They yelled as the front door opened to Show Asmodus with a doctors bag as Barbie walked up to the prince.
"Good morning Asmodus is this a visit?" She is "It is and to ask for help for a mission *Looks up the stiars* good morning Loopy Good morning lyle" he said "Ahh Asmodus" said Loopy as Frizzaroli in the room held a glass to the door as Oliver leaned close thankfully his hearing aids can pierce the door as Krim held a satalite listening device to the door hearing its Asmodus. "Doctors I need to borrow some equipment" as he and Barbie walked up the stairs "is that so? But science is difficult after all curiosity killed the cat" said Loopy as the two approached as Blitzo came with a tray with two glasses "I know" said Ozzie a bit excited.
"Here are your hang over drinks" said Blitzo as the two sicentsist took it and drank it down "What happened?" Asked Ozzie "Just drank something they shouldn't by accident" said Barbie "Ah gotcha" said Ozzie "Ignoring that, come with us and we'll get you all fixed up with what you need" said Lyle as Ozzie followed the two robots and the imps. However that Made Frizzaroli, Oliver and Krim curious "Experiments? What is Ozzie planning?" He wondered.
Later Ozzie came home after announcing to Alue he is back the wolf dog perked up curious at what her master is doing as the rooster like demon set his bag of equipment on a table and pulled them out to get started. First Ozzie took a pair of tweezers and plucked a single berry from a holly plant and placed it on a glass slide as he set it under a microscope as he looked through it and began to turn the knob to examine the berry closer…but the only result was a smashed berry and a broken slide much to his surprise. The second experiment he took a candy cane from Alus bowl and with a pair of tongs placed it in a pot of boiled electrified water (The pot was connected to a battery) however as he pulled it out it was now white with the stripes removed and had the consistency of a cooked noodle (Still tasted minty when he ate it).
Next attempt he tried to make a paper snowflake as he used a picture from a book on Christmas crafts as a reference as he snipped a few ends of a folded sheet of paper as he unfolded it, but possibly being the ruler of a spooky town it looked like a spider much to his surprise! Later he used a scalpel to tear open a teddy bear to study the fluff of the bear. Then he took a glass ornament from his Christmas tree as he took it to a cylinder of boiling water over a Bunsen burner as he crushed the ornament as he allowed the dust to fall into it as it glowed green "Interesting reaction…but what does it mean" he said humming.
Back in Frizzarolis room he was preparing a potion for Ozzie as he finished it and put in a bottle and then in a wooden basket as he gave it to Oliver and picked him up and put him in a larger basket as Krim floated over "Stay close to Oli and keep him safe I'll be down shortly" he said as he lowered the larger basket that was connected to a sewing line strong enough to carry the basket to the ground to not break the bottle or have his son safe. Once down Frizzaroli walked to his bed and pulled out what looks like a plume of orange feathers as he looked at Ozzies home across from the lab as he smiled seeing the glow as he stood on the edge of the window back to it as he held the plume to his chest and closed his eyes…and then fell backwards to the ground bellow as he felled with a squichl that his leg and right arm popped off as blood seem to flow from the back of his head as he smiled. The only witness was Bella, Beth and there husbands as Oliver got out of the bigger basket as Krim carried the smaller basket.
"Must your father be so reckless to not stretch" said Kirim as the Plume glowed over Frizzaroli as the imp was healed as he opened his eyes and saw his parents and waved with his only arm "Hi guys, thanks again for the Phoenix down" he said as Skrawl and King candy came over as the mishmashes creature grabbed his arm "Yeah well if you are gonna do something stupid like that and not your stretchy limbs we will worry" he said as King candy checked Frizzis leg and saw a few tears "you healed well, just need to do a quick fix of your leg" said King candy as a go kart racer he had practice with repair as Skrawl also a inventor checked the arm as he put it back on Frizzis leg as he worked with his adopted dad to repair his leg as it popped on. "Thanks papas" he said as he walked (Limp a bit) to Oliver as he patted his head "Papa you need to be careful" he said as Frizzi smiled "I know kiddo *grabs the smaller basket from Krim as the bot grabbed the larger one* come on" he said as he walked pass his parents as they played a quiet tone with there instruments.
Meanwhile Loopy and Lyle opened the circus imps large iron door and held a lantern "Okay you can come out now if you promise to behave" said Lyle as the duo looked around "Frizzaroli? Oliver? Krim?" They asked looking around…but only saw it was empty as they lost there temper "GONE ANGAON!" They yelled smashing the lantern, thankfully the floor was metal so it wasnt caught on fire.
Back with Asmodus having ditched his top hat and put for a more lose outfit comprised of a pink-shirt and a open purple hoodie as he wore a intricate, but very logical equation for the meaning of Christmas as he hummed rubbing his chin as he sighed "There just has to be a explanation of this feeling I got when I was in Christmas town, its so complex and vastly diffrent then what I feel in Lust" he said as he sighed but perked up hearing a sound on his window as he walked to it as he saw it was Frizzaroli holding a rope as a pully to bring the basket to the tower as Oliver and Krim helped as the prince smiled and waved as he took the basket. He always seen Frizzaroli around town and admired the little jester for his strength and spirit, he may had lost his limbs but that just made him like him more for his courage, especially rising such a sweet little boy like Oliver. Ozzie opened the basket seeing a meal and the bottle as he smiled, he was working hard and he needed a bit of food as he took the bottle and opened it as from a smoky butterfly floated out as he smiled as he walked to the window to say thank you to Frizzaroli…but he was gone as he was confused "Huh where did he go?" He wondered as he sighed and closed the window to enjoy a meal.
Frizzaroli, Oliver and Krim had snuck behind a gate as the Jester blushed happily as he leaned on it grinning happily that Ozzie took the basket and waved at him "your happy papa?" Asked Oliver "Of course he is Oliver he is practically glowing with happyness" said Krim eye smiling as Frizzarolo chuckled "Well of course I feel like if I keep at it…maybe" he started as he plucked a flower as he plucked the petals in a love dreamy way however to his surprise it became a Christmas tree as Oliver, Frizz and Krim were in awe…until it caught on fire as it became nothing but a chared stick shocking the group as he got a bad feeling as he wrapped a arm around Oliver scared of what this Christmas thing can bring…
Authors note: Ozzie is nothing but persistent but that persistency may bring problems down the road as seen in Frizzis vision.
Next chapter Asmodus obsession to learn what Christmas is growing as many of the citizens grow worried for there king.
