Stitched Kitsune: Chapter 31
Nara/Yamanaka/Akimichi compounds: With Naruto, Fu, Zabuza and Sasori
Naruto, Fu, Zabuza and Sasori all rushed towards the combined compounds of 3 of the strongest clans in Konoha; Naruto while running hardened his body as he approached the large door of the compound.
Naruto punched the doors full force knocking them off their hinges and sending them to the ground; when this happened a large group of Nara, Akimichi and Yamanaka's all looked at Naruto and his team in surprise.
"Good afternoon" Naruto said.
All of the Nara's, Yamanaka's and Akimichi's were scrambling to get on their armor and weapons in order to defend the village; all that came to a halt when Naruto and the others came. One Nara seeing this spoke up.
"Shit; kill those bastards" a Nara shouted as the entire clan rushed towards Naruto and the others.
Naruto not wasting anytime sent his fist towards a Yamanaka who was nearing him punching him in the face "let go everybody" Naruto shouted as his group rushed forward.
Zabuza brought back his sword and swung it towards a Akimichi holding a Kanabo club; the Akimichi put his club in front of him in order to protect himself. Zabuza's sword cut through the club with no effort and bisected the Akimichi; Zabuza chuckled as he say the top half of the mans body fly away from his lower half.
"Fat fucker" Zabuza said as he ran off to find another opponent.
Fu blocked a punch from a Yamanaka and kicked him away to give herself some room; as she began to move she was suddenly halted by an unknown force. A Nara had captured Fu in his shadow possession jutsu.
'Got you now' the Nara thought "someone, get-"; the Nara's knee exploded in a shower of blood as he fell to the ground clutching his knee. The arrow that hit his knee stuck in the ground behind him; Fu smiled at this and she prepared for her next attack.
Fu made went through hand signs before stopping "Hidden Rippungakure no jutsu" she shouted; a bright light flashed and blinded everyone who was looking at her. Fu seeing that she blinded the enemy brought out her wings and flew up into the air; Fu flew down at a fast speed with her right leg in front of her.
Fu sent a flying kick into a stunned Yamanaka making his head turn sharply to the side, breaking his neck and killing him instantly.
Hinata using her Byakugan was scanning around after saving Fu with another arrow in her bow ready to fire; Karin was beside her with her eyes closed using her sensory abilities to find more targets.
"Hinata; new target" Karin said gaining Hinata's attention "two hundred yards at your two O'clock; on the roof".
Hinata looked at the spot where Karin told her to look and saw a Nara on the roof with several kunai with explosive tags attached "got him" Hinata said. Hinata let her arrow fly and it found it's mark a second later; the arrow hit the Nara in the pelvis.
The Nara dropped his kunai with a live explosive note attached to his side; the result was an explosion that blew up the Nara and ignited the roof of the building he was standing on.
Hinata felt a pang of guilt but swallowed it as she covered Naruto and the others "spot the next target" Hinata said softly.
Karin feeling the turmoil in Hinata's chakra looked at her for a moment and felt a little pity for the former Konoha ninja; Karin then refocused and began to spot more targets.
Sasori saw the explosion off to his right as bits of shrapnel and wood fell from the air 'nice shot' Sasori thought; Sasori seeing a group of 10 ninja exit the building aimed both of his flamethrowers at them and unleashed a fire storm.
The flames hit the group of ninja setting them ablaze as they began to scream and flail around in an attempt to put out the fire; Sasori was about to move on when he felt disturbance in his chakra.
Sasori turned around and saw a Yamanaka looking at him making a specific hand sign in an attempt to use his mind transfer jutsu.
"You fool"Sasori said as he aimed his hand at him and fired a volley of poisoned senbon at him; the Yamanaka was hit and fell to the ground as the poison began to take effect "you can't posses a wooden body".
Naruto was a few feet away fighting an Akimichi; the Akimichi seeing him made a hand sign and expanded his body into a large round mass. "Human boulder" He shouted as he began to roll to Naruto at high speeds.
"Oh crap" Naruto said as he manipulated his gold into a golden knuckle duster on his right hand; Naruto got into a stance and brought back his arm. Naruto threw a punch with full force at the Akimichi hitting him with all his strength; Naruto punched elbow deep into the Akimichi before he bounced back into the building.
The Akimichi crashed into the building and it collapsed on top of him ;Naruto looked around at everyone fighting and began to think.
'This is getting intense' Naruto thought '10 more minutes and then we bail; we're only to take out a couple of them'. 'Kakuzu and Orochimaru better hurry up' Naruto thought as he turned his knuckle duster into his dagger before rushing back into battle.
Chunin Exam Stadium: With Kakuzu and Orochimaru
Orochimaru slashed at Hiruzen with his Kusanagi sword attempting to land a poisoned blow on the old man; Hiruzen used his staff to block the sword strike and was walking backwards as Orochimaru continued to strike at Hiruzen.
Hiruzen knowing about the Kusanagi's poison continued to dodge and block the attacks from his former student; Hiruzen blocked once more before spinning his staff knocking the sword out of the way.
Hiruzen proceeded to send a powerful blow to Orochimaru's ribs making him cough up blood before he was knocked away; Hiruzen was about to continue his attack when he was attacked from behind.
Hiruzen turned around to see Kakuzu closing in; Hiruzen spun around swinging his staff at Kakuzu. Kakuzu with his hardened body put up his arm and blocked the staff with his forearm stunning Hiruzen as he didn't expect this; Kakuzu brought back his fist and delivered a powerful punch to Hiruzen's stomach.
Hiruzen had his breath knocked out of him and was sent stumbling back a few steps until he regained his composure; Hiruzen jumped back and while in mid air went through hand signs.
'Fire Style: Dragon Flame Bomb' Hiruzen fired a powerful fire jutsu at Kakuzu and Kakuzu went through hand signs.
'Earth Style: Mud wall' Kakuzu slammed both of his hands onto the ground and created a earth wall to protect him from the oncoming fire jutsu; the fire jutsu collided with he wall and Kakuzu got ready to go out and fight once more but was stopped when the wall exploded into a pile of burning rubble.
Hiruzen used his staff to destroy the weakened wall and attack Kakuzu head on; Hiruzen spun his staff and used it to uppercut Kakuzu making his head snap up. Even though Kakuzu had hardened his body he still felt some pain comparable to a hard punch to a normal person; Hiruzen followed up by using his staff to sweep Kakuzu off his feet.
Hiruzen proceeded to drop kick Kakuzu into the roof of the stadium making it crack and spider web; Kakuzu coughed up his breath as Hiruzen brought up his staff to attack once more. Kakuzu put his arms up to protect him but before Hiruzen could attack he was stopped.
Orochimaru elongated his body and was coming towards Hiruzen at full speed and Hiruzen decided to break off his attack to block the Kusanagi before it could hit him; Hiruzen jumped back to gain some distance from his 2 opponents.
"You ok Kakuzu; not to hurt are you" Orochimaru said in a tone that pissed off Kakuzu.
"Shut up" Kakuzu said as he got back up and Orochimaru chuckled.
"Touchy aren't we" Orochimaru said and Kakuzu scoffed.
Hiruzen was looking at Orochimaru and Kakuzu and breathing heavily; he's been behind a desk for too long and was feeling his age affecting his movements.
'I won't let you win' Hiruzen said 'I sacrificed to much for my village to fall; I will not let the legacy of my sensei's end here'. Hiruzen made a hand sign and shouted "Shadow clone jutsu"; Hiruzen created 30 shadow clones and Orochimaru chuckled.
"Calling for reinforcements Sarutobi sensei" Orochimaru said with a smile "I guess I will as well"; Orochimaru began to go through hand signs before stopping on the last one. "Edo Tensei" Orochimaru shouted much to Hiruzen shock.
"Orochimaru don't-" Hiruzen said but it was too late as a coffin popped out of the ground; the coffin opened up revealing Hashirama Senju.
"Hiruzen… is that you" Hashirama said bewildered "you've gotten old"; Hashirama looked to his side and saw Kakuzu.
"Hey! You're that guy who tried to kill me all those years ago; how you been, I hope life's been good to you" Hashirama said with a smile; Kakuzu looked at him with a look that was between angry and confused.
"I was banished from my village, on the lam for nearly seventy years, been working as a bounty hunter and have been cleaning up your student's fuck ups" Kakuzu said; Hashirama looked at him in surprise.
"What do you mean" Hashirama said and Orochimaru laughed.
"Sarutobi sensei here has sullied the legacy of Konoha" Orochimaru said "he betrayed Uzu by letting it be destroyed, he allowed the Uchiha clan to be exterminated and betrayed not one but two containers of the nine tails". Hashirama hearing this had a look of horror and betrayal on his face.
"Hiruzen" Hashirama said looking at Hiruzen; Hiruzen didn't say anything nor did he have to as the look on his face said it all "but… but… the will of fire; we were supposed to be a shining beacon, a change in the ninja world, an example for everyone to follow".
"He didn't listen" Kakuzu said to Hashirama "the container of the nine tails, Naruto, was left alone in the village as an orphan; he was abused, beaten, starved and ostracized by the whole village". "When I found him he was skinned alive because he was companions with the heiress of the Hyuga clan" Kakuzu said; Hashirama felt his spirit get crushed at this.
"I only did what I had to for the village" Hiruzen said "if not we-".
"Enough Hiruzen" Hashirama said stopping him "Mr… Kakuzu was it"; Kakuzu nodded and Hashirama continued.
"Can I… talk to this Naruto… I wish to say my piece" Hashirama said and Kakuzu nodded.
"Sure; after we are done here" Kakuzu said and Hashirama nodded.
"Hiruzen" Hashirama said as he made a hand sign "you're a disgrace to Konoha"; Hiruzen felt his heart shatter at this and Hashirama focused his chakra. "Wood clone Jutsu" Hashirama shouted; out of his back 10 wood clones emerged and got into taijutsu stances "I will do what I must".
Training grounds: With Gaara.
"Is that all you have Uchiha" Gaara shouted like a mad man as he sent another wave of sand at Sasuke "come and fight me".
Sasuke dodged the wave of sand and jumped away before going through hand signs 'Fire Style: Phoenix Flower Jutsu'; Sasuke fired a volley of 10 small fire balls towards Gaara who formed his sand into a dome.
The small fireballs hit the dome and Gaara was completely protected from any damage; the spots where the fire balls hit were turned to glass due to the heat and Gaara began to chuckle.
"Pathetic" Gaara said as his dome fell "you got to try harder"; Gaara launched a volley of sand shuriken at Sasuke and Sasuke attempted to jump away.
Sasuke avoided all but one of the sand shuriken as he was hit in the side causing a wound to appear; Sasuke landed and held his wound.
"Fucking Psycho" Sasuke said 'I don't have time for this shit; I got to go and kill that Naruto bastard and Sakura". Sasuke with his sharingan glowing charged at Gaara and took out some shuriken; Sasuke threw the shuriken at Gaara who put up a wall to protect him.
The shuriken hit the sand wall and Sasuke continued to close the distance; Gaara sent a wave of sand towards Sasuke and Sasuke jumped over it and reached Gaara's position. Sasuke threw a kick while still in mid air towards Gaara and Gaara's sand immediately reacted by coming up and protecting him.
Sasuke landed and threw several more punches which were all stopped by Gaara's sand.
"You're boring me" Gaara shouted as he sent his sand towards Sasuke hitting him in the chest and sending him flying; Sasuke landed and coughed up blood.
Sasuke began to feel his hate and malice increase and he felt a burning sensation on the back of his neck; Sasuke's curse mark began to spread over his body "that's it" Sasuke said as he ran through hand signs. Sasuke stopped and held out his hand creating a chidori which began to crackle "die freak" Sasuke shouted as he bolted towards Gaara.
Gaara seeing this created a wave of sand and sent it towards Sasuke who merely cut though it with his chidori as he continued to run towards Gaara; Sasuke pumped more chakra into his jutsu in order to keep it going as he neared Gaara. Gaara put up a sand wall to protect him from Sasuke but it was too late.
"Chidori" Sasuke shouted as he plunged the jutsu into the wall; the chidori cut through the wall and hit Gaara in the shoulder. Gaara used his sand to knock Sasuke away and Sasuke landed a few yards away.
"What is this" Gaara said in horror as he looked at his wound.
Sasuke stared at Gaara before hearing a shout "Sasuke"; Sasuke turned and saw Kiba, Akamaru and Shino running up "are you ok, we were training and- what the hell is going on with you're face".
"Shut up Kiba" Sasuke growled out "I have this handles you can just-"; Sasuke, Kiba, Shino and Akamaru all were surprised when they heard screaming.
"Ahhhhh…. Blood! I'm Bleeding!" Gaara screamed; as soon as he did sand began to swirl around him at an incredible pace "I won't die! I won't die!".
"Holy fucking hell" Kiba shouted as all 4 looked on in horror; Gaara's right side was now morphing into a demonic form as his right arm, leg, and back were now covered in sand. Gaara's sand on his back formed a tail and he began to breath heavily.
Gaara looked over to Sasuke, Kiba, Shino and Akamaru and spoke "Uchiha" Gaara said in a feral growl "I want you to be the first of my victims".
Sasuke gulped at this as he didn't expect this to happen; Kiba cleared his throat and spoke.
"You want out help now" Kiba asked.
"It would be wise" Shino said adjusting his glasses "we will assist" Shino said.
Sasuke huffed in frustration "fine" Sasuke said as he got back up "just stay out of my way"; Sasuke took in a breath and got into his stance. 'I will not lose here' Sasuke thought.
With Naruto and the others
Naruto punched a Yamanaka away before spinning around and delivering a kick to a Nara who was coming up behind him with a sword; Naruto hearing a 'beep' on his watch jumped onto the roof of the compound and shouted.
"Fall back!Fall back" Naruto shouted to his friends down below; Fu hearing this flew away while Zabuza and Sasori stayed down below.
"I'll leave you all with a little present" Sasori said as he pulled out a scroll and opened it; Sasori revealed about 20 small puppets in the shape of fireflies "enjoy". Sasori sent the fireflies puppets flying into different directions and they hit all 3 compounds before exploding; the explosions created raging fires that quickly began to burn the wooden structures.
Both Zabuza and Sasori used the surprise attack to run away and Zabuza looked over to Sasori.
"Kamikaze puppets" Zabuza said and Sasori nodded.
"Fire Flies" Sasori said with a smile "my little Toka inspired me to make them; she has a little wooden firefly she plays with and she crashes it into stuff". Zabuza laughed at this.
"A weapon created from a child's toy; never through I'd see the day" Zabuza said as they made their way away from the compound. After reaching the rally point Naruto looked around.
"Ok we did our job; now for the secondary objectives" Naruto said "Me, Fu and Karin will go to the Hokage tower; Sasori, Zabuza and Hinata will go to the east district and help out Doto's men".
"Heh… you're sounding like you're in charge" Zabuza said and Sasori looked at him.
"He is… by Orochimaru's order" Sasori said and Zabuza scoffed "we'll be on out way" Sasori said and Naruto nodded. Naruto looked over to Hinata and gave her a hug.
"Be safe ok" Naruto said and Hinata nodded; Naruto let go and ran off with Fu and Karin.
Konoha streets: With Naruto, Fu and Karin
Naruto, Fu and Karin all ran across the roof tops as they tried to make their way to the Hokage tower; Naruto looked around and saw the entire village in chaos as smoke and the sounds of battle raged all around.
"This is intense" Naruto said "kind of reminds me of when we fought off that army in snow country".
"Yeah, except we don't have a crazy cat lady trying to kill us" Fu said as she ran along side Naruto.
"Well there is that Gaara boy; he's has that Tanuki inside him if what Lord Orochimaru said was accurate" Karin said and Naruto nodded.
"I'd rather not think about him; he wants to kill me" Naruto said; Naruto and the others ran along until they heard screaming "what the hell". Naruto looked to his side and saw 3 kids running from a group of sound ninja; Naruto recognized them as Konohamaru, Udon and Moegi "crap" Naruto shouted.
Konohamaru, Moegi and Udon were running away from a squad of sound ninja as they tried to find a way to a shelter "keep on running" Konohamaru shouted. As they turned a corner they ran into a dead end "oh no" he said.
All 3 kids turned around and saw the squad of sound ninja approach "nice try kids; now hold still" one of them said.
Konohamaru swallowed hard and took out a kunai "I-I won't back down" Konohamaru said scared out of his mind.
"Heh… look here; he's trying to play hero" a ninja said before charging at Konohamru.
"Konohamaru! No!" Moegi shouted as the sound ninja took out a kunai and slashed at Konohamaru only to hear a clang; he saw a hand stopping his blade and he couldn't move. The sound ninja looked up and saw the enraged face of Naruto.
"What the fuck do you think you're doing" Naruto said in a even tone; Naruto with little effort snapped his arm breaking it and making him scream.
"Niku" Konohamaru said with hope in his voice; Naruto looked at him with a smile.
"Hey Konohamaru; one sec ok bud" Naruto said before looking at the squad of sound ninja "I may be an asshole, but kids are off limits". "Girls; would you kindly" Naruto said.
Fu flying above the squad came down with 2 kunai in her hands; she stabbed through the crowns of their skulls killing them instantly. The other 2 ninja were shocked until they heard clicking behind them and saw a puppet.
Karin using her puppet opened it's mouth and fired a volley of poisoned senbon out it's mouth towards the 2 ninja hitting and killing them. "All done Naruto" Karin said "what do we do with the kids".
Naruto looked at Konohamaru and the other who were all obviously scared "there's Ichiraku's about a block from here; we'll drop them off and head out" Naruto said.
"Wait… Naruto; I thought Niku was your name" Udon said "that's your real name"; Naruto slowly nodded.
"Yep, Naruto Uzumaki; former Jinchuriki of Konoha" Naruto said and all 3 went wide eyed.
'Wait, he's the one grandpa was always talking about; why is he helping us' Konohamaru thought; he was brought out of his thoughts when he got picked up by Naruto.
"Fu, Karin; grab them and lets go" Naruto ordered; Fu and Karin picked up Udon and Moegi and they all ran to Ichiraku's. Upon reaching the destination Naruto put the kids down and spoke "get inside and hide" he ordered as he began to walk away.
"Wait… Naruto" Konohamaru said stopping him "why did you help us; aren't you our enemy"; Naruto looked at him with a smile on his face.
"Because even professionals have standards" Naruto said to Konohamaru "get inside Konohamaru… and… don't be like you're grandpa". Konohamaru was confused but couldn't speak as Naruto, Fu and Karin all jumped away.
'What does he mean by that' Konohamaru thought; a second later the side door to the shop opened and Teuchi and Ayame poked their heads out.
"What the hell are you kids doing out there" Teuchi shouted.
"Get in here, hurry" Ayame said; all 3 children ran inside the small ramen shop to avoid the fighting in the streets.
Hyuga compound: With the Kyuubi
The Kyuubi ripped apart another Hyuga clansman and threw both half's to it's side "hehehe" the Kyuubi laughed as it looked around; so far it killed several Hyuga but they were not letting up on attacking him.
Hiashi was a few yards away with the 20 remaining Hyuga as they all looked on nervously at the rampaging Biju; Hiashi scowled at the Kyuubi as he knew why the Kyuubi was attacking them. He failed to kill it all those years ago and now it has come back to get revenge.
"Stand your ground" Hiashi ordered as he stepped forward "the Hyuga clan is the mightiest in Konoha; we will not let some monster sully our legacy".
Hiashi and the other Hyuga heard a dark chuckle coming from the Kyuubi who looked at them "I'll let you know what your legacy shall be" they Kyuubi said "a pile of corpses… although I guess the boy's other female could restart the clan; but I doubt that".
Hiashi hearing this became alarmed "wait 'other female'" Hiashi asked "who are you talking about".
"What does that matter to a dead man" The Kyuubi said; the Kyuubi in a burst of speed rushed towards Hiashi and the other Hyuga. One Hyuga rushed to the front in an attempt to stop the rampaging Kyuubi.
The Hyuga began to spin around quickly and form a dome of chakra around him "Rotation" he shouted as the Kyuubi was only a few feet away. They Kyuubi seeing this swung his claws at the spinning chakra dome.
The Kyuubi's claws cut through the chakra dome like it was a piece of paper and found the Hyuga inside; the spinning Hyuga was hit in the stomach and as he spun around he essentially peeled off his flesh and guts.
When the Hyuga stopped spinning he fell to the ground dead and everyone saw that from his pelvis to his lower ribcage there was nothing; the only thing still connecting him was his spinal cord.
"Ok, that was stupid" The Kyuubi said "Anyone else wants to play hero"; every other Hyuga began to slowly back away and the Kyuubi chuckled. "What's wrong; the party has only started" it said.
The Kyuubi jumped high into the air and landed behind Hiashi and the Hyuga's in a crouch; the Kyuubi opened it's mouth and a small ball of fire formed. Hiashi seeing this shouted.
"Scatter" Hiashi shouted; as soon as he said that the Kyuubi fired a stream of fire at the group of huddled Hyuga's. The half of the Hyuga avoided the fire but the other half were hit and engulfed in the fire.
Hiashi and the other Hyuga who got away all took out kunai and shuriken and began to throw them at the Kyuubi; the Kyuubi seeing the oncoming projectiles turned it's head to one side and opened it's mouth once more.
The Kyuubi unleashed a powerful wind from it's mouth and sent it towards the kunai and shuriken coming towards it; upon reaching the kunai and shuriken the wind jutsu sent all the projectiles flying backwards back towards the throwers.
The result was the Hyuga being shredded by their own weapons; the other volley of kunai and shuriken hit the Kyuubi but did not result in any pain. The Kyuubi looked over to Hiashi and his remaining Hyuga and chuckled.
"Tickling me won't do any good" They Kyuubi said as it shook off the weapons and rushed towards Hiashi and the others; as it approached they all got into their taijutsu stances and waited.
They Kyuubi jumped and pounced on a Hyuga before sinking it's claws into his chest and ripping open his rib cage; 2 Hyuga on either side of the Kyuubi charged in with their hands blazing with chakra.
Both Hyuga began to vigorously strike the Kyuubi all over it's body in an attempt to subdue it; the Kyuubi however didn't react as it swung it's tail to the Hyuga on the right. The Kyuubi's tail hit the Hyuga in the head and destroyed it in a shower off blood and gore; the Kyuubi grabbed the headless corpse and swung into towards the other Hyuga like a club.
The weight of the corpse and the speed of the swing resulted in the Hyuga's body being ripped in half; the Kyuubi dropped the corpse and turned to see Hiashi in a familiar stance.
"Eight trigrams; two palms" Hiashi shouted as he lunged towards the Kyuubi striking it twice making it howl in pain "four palms, eight palms, sixteen palms, thirty-two palms, eight trigrams sixty-four palms". With the final strike the Kyuubi was sent flying into the compounds wall creating a large crack.
Hiashi smirked at this, even though he was the only survivor he was able to defeat the Kyuubi; however when the Kyuubi began to get up and shake off the dust and debris from it's body he realized he wasn't even close.
"My turn" The Kyuubi said; the Kyuubi's body began to unravel as numerous threads began to appear. The Kyuubi went it's threads towards Hiashi who began using his gentle fist in order to protect him from the attacks.
Hiashi ducked and dodged the threads as they whipped at him cutting his cloths and skin but not leaving any serious damage; Hiashi continued to defend himself until a thread imbedded itself into his leg.
Hiashi grunted in pain as he used his gentle fist to sever the thread but was hit once more in his arm; this continued as more and more threads began to enter his body and slowed him down.
Hiashi fought until he could no longer move and he was brought to his knees by the Kyuubi's threads; the Kyuubi began to walk over before getting only a few inches away from Hiashi. Hiashi gritting his teeth looked at the Kyuubi.
"Go on ahead and kill me monster" Hiashi spat out "the Hyuga clan will avenge me"; the Kyuubi merely laughed.
The Kyuubi put another thread around his neck and began to slowly choke him "I'm not here to kill you Hyuga" the Kyuubi said as Hiashi's began to struggle for breath as his blood and oxygen was being restricted. "I have other plans for you… hehehehe" The Kyuubi chuckled.
Hiashi fought as much as he could until his world began to fade; the last thing Hiashi saw was the Kyuubi until his world went black.
