Transformers 3: Godzilla vs. Biollante

Chapter 6: King and Queen of the Monsters

Earth Wars Trilogy

It was now nighttime on Infant Island, sometime after Optimus Prime and Elita One had finally reunited. With it being dark out, near the center of the island which acted as Mothra's resting place, Optimus and Elita sat next to each other in front of a fire they had lit in order to maintain some light during the darkness, and to add to the sense of camaraderie and gratitude they felt in each other's presence. During their time of finally being reunited, the two Autobots took this time to catch up on what had happened during their time apart, with Optimus explaining everything that happened with Godzilla and the Decepticons on Earth, and Elita telling him how the war on Cybertron was going against Shockwave.

"So, even though Godzilla has been our ally in the past, it does not change the fact that he still holds onto a great vengeance towards mankind, a vengeance that must be thwarted, for the sake of all the natives of this planet", Optimus Prime told Elita One after explaining to her everything that had happened.

"Poor guy…the thing is I'm not sure I can even be too mad at him…", Elita One frowned in sympathy. "I mean…I have to ask, you're not intending to…kill him, are you…?"

"No, for that is why we sought out the aid of Mothra on this island, for we hope that, given her strong connection with Godzilla, she will be able to convince him to let go of his vengeance and learn to forgive the humans for their misdeeds", Optimus replied.

"You've always had a way with words, haven't you?", Elita One smiled, to which Optimus smiled back. However, with the two of them talking about Godzilla, it couldn't help but cause her to think about something that had been the cause for why her and the Dinobots were on the losing end of the War on Cybertron. "You know, now that we're on the topic, it did make me think of something that Shockwave had created shortly after you all left Cybertron…"

"What is it?", Optimus Prime asked.

"Well, you remember how, during the War for Cybertron, when Shockwave apparently used his Space Bridge to travel to Earth so he could gain the specimens he needed to experiment on Grimlock and his team…?", Elita One began, to which Optimus nodded. "Well, it turns out that that wasn't the only thing he came to Earth for… You see, he was actually able to excavate the bones of another member of the Gojira species, whom he called 'Dagon', and he used those bones as a frame to create what he now calls 'MechaGodzilla', which Shockwave and his sadistic friend, Bludgeon are able to pilot from the inside…".

"Hmm…so, it would seem that not even the dead are free from Shockwave's twisted experiments…", Optimus Prime said after taking a brief moment to digest everything Elita One told him. "I am…sorry that you had to deal with that, Elita, and I only hope that the Dinobots will be able to stand against the power of this creation of Shockwave's".

"So do I, and I know Grimlock and his team are tough, but not only is MechaGodzilla gigantic enough to crush them with just one stomp of his foot, but there is one attack that it has that would easily be able to wipe us out, if Shockwave knew where our outpost was on Cybertron. He calls it the Absolute Zero Cannon, a cannon which is able to fire from MechaGodzilla's chest, a beam of energy that's so cold, that its able to turn the molecular structure of anything from the inside out into pure ice, being able to be shattered into pieces with just one stomp of the Titan's foot…", Elita explained to Optimus as she recollected the horrors that beam was able to do to entire buildings that previously stood among Cybertron.

"Elita…it deeply grieves me that neither I, nor my Autobots could be present on Cybertron to aid you in this plight of yours, but know this, as soon as we find a way to peacefully resolve Godzilla's conflict with the humans here on Earth, we will find a way to return to Cybertron, take the fight to Shockwave, and dispose of his MechaGodzilla together…", Optimus Prime reassured her as he placed his arm around her shoulders.

"Thanks, Optimus. You know, for the longest time now, that was something of yours that I always missed…", Elita One said with a genuine smile. "You know, your optimism and…just that reminder that no matter what happens, we'll find a way to figure it out together. It's always just been…a drive for me…you know…? A reason to keep going…"

"For the longest time, Elita, I had believed that you were terminated by Megatron, and during all of those centuries when I believed you were gone, I never once ceased hanging onto your memory. I remember, during my time as an archivist, and when I made the choice to challenge Megatron's ideals, you were the main influence who stood behind me, against all the odds, and even with all that I have accomplished today, I do not know if I would be the well-renowned leader others have known me as today. It is because of you, that you have always been a driving force in my life as well, Elita…", Optimus Prime said with as much sincerity as he could.

"Optimus…", Elita chuckled nervously, and while Cybertronians were incapable of blushing like humans are, if Elita One were human, her cheeks would be bright red right now.

"I mean every word that I say, and to see you alive now…", Optimus said as he pulled her into a hug, "…fills my spark with so much relief and gratitude. I have missed you so…"

"I missed you too, Orion…", Elita One replied as she hugged him back, calling him by the name she knew him as before he became a Prime.

The two then shared in their hug for a good few minutes, finally happy to feel each other in their arms once again, and after having thought they would never see each other again, they felt as if they did not want to even think about letting each other go. Eventually, both of them parted from the hug, but they still sat close together next to the fire with Optimus Prime still having his arm wrapped around Elita One.

"Would you two mind if we joined you?", Optimus Primal asked as he, Cheetor, Rhinox, Dinobot, and Bumblebee all approached them.

"Of course, not", Optimus smiled before realizing something. "If that is alright with you, Elita".

"Why wouldn't it be? Prime and I may be close, but we're all friends here", Elita added.

With this, Bumblebee and the four Maximals all sat next to the two Autobots and gathered around the fire.

"So…how's the couple doing…?", the immature Cheetor asked.

"Really, Cheetor?", Rhinox asked.

"We're good, now that we finally get to be together again", Elita One replied.

Upon her saying this, Bumblebee asked her a question in the form of his bleeping, where he was hoping that, once Mothra did what she needed to do in calming Godzilla down, she would come back with them to the Autobot base.

"Well, I would hope to be getting back to Cybertron sometime soon, but if we can't figure out how I could get back there anytime soon, I'd definitely like to see how things have been going, here on Earth", Elita One said.

"Actually, we may have a solution to that situation of yours, Elita", Optimus Primal said, piquing her curiosity. "The Transwarp Key, while it can act as a bridge between time periods, as we Maximals had used it, it can also act as a bridge between both different universes, as well as different locations across the galaxy, meaning that you would be able to utilize it to return to Cybertron at any point of your choosing".

"Wait, really?", Elita One reacted, shocked. "I knew that relic was powerful, but I never knew it could act as basically another Space Bridge. Don't get me wrong, I'll still stay here for now to make sure the situation with Godzilla works out, but once that's done, I better be getting back to Cybertron, both because I don't want Grimlock getting into any trouble, and I still need to get to the bottom of whatever Shockwave's planning…"

"You had spoken of a Project Biohazard that Shockwave had apparently been working on. I must ask, were you ever able to find anything in his data banks that relayed any intel on it?", Optimus Prime asked.

"Well, remember how I mentioned that Shockwave was able to take possession of the skeleton of a Gojira when he was on Earth while creating the Dinobots?", Elita asked, rhetorically. "Well, apparently, while he was doing that, he created what would end up being other monsters, or Titans, as they're called. I remember one of them was called Hedorah, and the other, was Biollante, but that was all I could find. I don't even know when or if these monsters are going to be a thing or not, but it did get me thinking, when Dinobot and I accessed the Space Bridge to get here, it just so happened to already be set for this island of all places, and I just can't help but feel like there might be more to this…twist of fate we found ourselves in than meets the eye…"

"Elita, while whatever Shockwave might be planning is concerning, especially with these two potentially new Titans you mentioned, remember what we talked about, no matter what the threat may be, we will find a way to stop it together, just like we have, many other times in the past", Optimus Prime said to her. "And even with this information, it does not change the fact that, right now, Godzilla is the number one threat to the rest of this planet's native life forms, and as such, we must focus our efforts towards stopping him".

"You're right…", Elita One sighed. "I mean, we have dealt with Shockwave before. I'm sure when the time comes, we'll be able to deal with him again…", she now held an uneasy smile.

"You should be thankful to have such good company on your side, Elita One", Optimus Primal said.

"Oh, trust me, you have no idea…", Elita One smiled as she and Optimus Prime looked at each other.

Before the conversation within the group could continue, Airazor came flying onto the scene in her falcon form, and once she was close enough, she cawed as she used her large wings to quickly douse the flame around the rest of her allies.

"Well, that was unnecessary…", Cheetor reacted just as the fire went out.

"Forgive me for my unorthodox intrusion, but I have come to relay to you all something very important…", Airazor said. "Mothra…she's hatching…", she revealed, prompting a series of gasps from the group.

"Then we must return to the sanctum and quickly", Optimus Prime said.

"Agreed. Maximals! On me!", Optimus Primal ordered before he and the other Maximals transformed into their animal forms and ran back towards the sanctum.

"Autobots! Let's move!", Optimus Prime declared as Elita One and Bumblebee followed him.

Eventually, the Autobots and Maximals were able to return to the center of the sanctum, and once they reached it, they saw as the holy Titan of Mothra was beginning to break free of her chrysalis, all while her mere presence alone made an enticing, yet also, holy whirring sound. When breaking out of the chrysalis, Mothra pushed her head out of the crack she made in it, revealing what appeared to be rather fluffy head and having a pair of bright, blue eyes.

"Reeaaawr…reeaaawr…", Mothra let out her chirping as her head was now completely free of the chrysalis' shell while she continued to emerge.

As she kept breaking free, the Autobots and Maximals could not help but watch in amazement as they took in the beauty of her head alone, which along with having her large, blue eyes and being very fluffy, her head was brown and white in color, with white around her eyes and brown going down the center of her face and circled around her mouth, which was small and black with two brown mandibles each next to it. While breaking the rest of her body free, revealing her six brown legs and slowly revealing her wings, Mothra took notice to the group of Transformers standing in front of her, most notably, Optimus Prime, of whom she could feel the taint of Primus flowing within him. With that, she began directing herself to him as her wings finally emerged, revealing both them and the rest of her body. While Mothra was already beautiful as she was, her wings had beautiful color patterns of black, yellow, and orange with some more of her fur coated on them.

"Reeaaawr…Reeaaaaaaawwwrrr!", Mothra roared happily as she expanded her wings as her way of stretching, finally having hatched out of her chrysalis and into her beautiful imago form.

"She's…she's beautiful…", the mesmerized Elita One reacted.

"Incredible…so this is who has been protecting all of you this whole time…?", Dinobot asked his Maximal friends.

"Yep, and watching her hatch never gets old…", Cheetor replied.

Still focusing her attention on Optimus Prime, Mothra carefully walked over the shell of her chrysalis and off of it, to where she descended down to him, feeling her connection to him with Optimus Prime holding the Matrix of Leadership within his chest.

"Reeaaawr…", Mothra let out another chirp, this one, more timid as she was now directly in front of Optimus Prime.

Feeling the same connection that Mothra was feeling, Optimus Prime gently placed his hand on her head, feeling the sensation of her fur making contact with his metallic palm and fingers. While doing this, however, Optimus Prime, given their connection, was able to feel Mothra's emotions, and with his ability of doing this, he could tell that, while she was happy to be reborn into her imago form again, even with that, there was something else that was making her very downhearted.

"She is hurting…", Optimus Prime said in a somber tone.

"Wait…you can…understand what she's thinking…?", Elita One asked.

"Yes, given that we both share a connection to the other Primes", Optimus Prime replied. "I can feel…that she can feel both Godzilla's presence and emotions, and how sorrowful she is that he takes his anger out on mankind for what happened to him so long ago…"

Then, in that moment, Optimus Prime was transported into a brief vision, where he saw as Godzilla was still laying waste to Shanghai, China, where it was nearly sunset due to it being in a different time zone than Infant Island. Hoping to maximize his destruction, Godzilla fired a stream of his atomic breath at an array of buildings in front of him, destroying an entire group of city blocks with just one, singular blast!

"Skreeeeeooooooonk!", Godzilla roared in anger as he took his vengeance upon the humans.

Optimus Prime was then transported out of the vision, where he was back in front of Mothra and around his team of Autobots and Maximals once again.

"Optimus Prime, what did you see…?", Optimus Primal asked him.

"Something that only Mothra may have a chance at reprimanding…", Optimus Prime replied as a reaction to the vision.

Not wanting to waste any time, and after expanding her large wings again, Mothra took flight from the sanctum, in which she flapped her wings in order to ascend out of the top opening of the cave before soaring through the skies, away from Infant Island and into the storm surrounding it in order to confront Godzilla.

Once Mothra left, the group of Cybertronians, especially the ones who had not seen her before, could not help but feel shocked by everything that had just happened, especially with Optimus Prime having a connection to Mothra that was not unlike the one he had with Godzilla.

"Optimus…is…she going to face Godzilla…?", Elita One couldn't help but ask.

"Indeed, for hopefully, given their symbiotic relationship, she will be able to convince Godzilla to forgive the humans for their sins, rather than needlessly punishing their populace to no end", Optimus Prime replied to her. "Do you all recall the story of the Godzilla Civil War, the war that took place between Godzilla and Zo-Zla-Halawa?", he asked his friends before explaining everything. "As all of you know, eventually, the war reached a point to where the only Gojira species that remained were Godzilla and Zo-Zla-Halawa, in which even Prima knew that Godzilla was not strong enough to defeat his enemy. Because of this, while Prima used Infant Island as his holy sanctum to keep watch over this planet, he used what remaining power he had in order to create Mothra, an ally and friend to Godzilla. It is because of the fact that both Godzilla and Mothra share the power of the Primes, that they share a strong symbiotic connection to one another. Together, they were able to defeat Zo-Zla-Halawa, in which Mothra was able to imprison him, followed by Prima taking him off-world and leaving the protection of this planet to Godzilla and Mothra. However, with Godzilla now enraged with a vengeance against mankind, only Mothra will have a chance at setting things right once again…"

"Prime, given the connection that you share with Godzilla as well, do you believe that we should aid Mothra in attempting to quell his vengeful desires?", Optimus Primal asked.

"No", Optimus Prime replied. "Godzilla and I may have a connection, thanks to the power of the Primes, but even with that, Mothra is currently the only living being of which Godzilla truly has any admiration for, even with our respect for one another. With this being the case, I feel that we must allow nature to run its course and hope that Mothra will be able to accomplish her goal…"

"Well, that makes me wanna ask you…what if she isn't able to…?", Elita One asked.

"Then…we will need to consider other options…", Optimus Prime replied in a more morbid tone.

In the annihilated city of Shanghai, Godzilla continued his reign of destruction, swiping down buildings left and right, stomping on humans, and easily disposing of the military with their futile attempts of attacking him. Eventually, Godzilla walked up to a large hospital at the edge of the city, and with it being a building that was still standing and had a large number of humans in it, it was needless to say that Godzilla intended to destroy it. After making eye contact with the petrified doctors and patients in the facility, Godzilla began charging up his atomic breath yet again, in which his dorsal plates and the inside of his mouth began glowing their iconic, bright blue.

But then, before Godzilla could fire his attack, out of nowhere, came a large flash of light that occurred right next to him! Even though the light did not last for even a second, the flash was so great, to where it caused the King of the Monsters to be briefly blinded and disoriented, causing him to fall to the ground, on his side. Once Godzilla landed and he began regaining his eyesight, it was revealed that the one who caused the flash was none other than Mothra, who used her solar flare attack on Godzilla before cautiously gliding in the sky above him and the hospital.

"Reeeeeaaaawwrr! Reeeeeaaawwwr!", Mothra roared as she flew through the sky and gently landed on top of a tall building, next to Godzilla.

As soon as he regained his sense of vision, Godzilla stood back up on his feet with his eyes fixated on Mothra, in which, even though he knew she was here to stop what he was doing, that thought was overcome by just how happy he was to see her again, evident by him slowly nearing his head closer to her and letting out some timid growls, as well.

"Reeawwrr…reeawwrr…", Mothra gently chirped back at him, making it obvious that she was happy to be reunited with him as well.

After basking in their welcomed reunion by staring into each other's eyes for a while, Godzilla let out a small, "Skreeeeooonk!", out into the distance as his way of communicating to Mothra that he was doing what he needed to do in order for the humans to atone for what they did to him in 1954. Even though Godzilla and Mothra were animals at heart, the symbiotic relationship between these two Titans was so strong to the point where both of them were able to tell what the other one was thinking and feeling at any point in time, even if they were a great distance away from each other.

"Reeeeeeeaaaaaawwrr!", Mothra let out a loud and longer roar, arguing and begging Godzilla to forgive the humans and cease his senseless destruction, despite how she felt horrible for how he was robbed of his son those many years ago.

"Skreeeeeeeeoooooonk!", Godzilla roared back in retaliation, standing firm on his claim that he would not forgive the humans that easily, not after what they so callously did to his only son.

"Reeeeeeaaaaaawwrrr! Reeeeeeaaaaaawwwrr!", Mothra roared back at him again, this time, attempting to intimidate him by raising herself off the building, followed by her expanding and flapping her enormous wings in front of him.

Even though he was happy to be reunited with Mothra again, Godzilla was not going to allow her to stop him from doing what he believed he rightfully needed to do. Because of this, after letting out an irritated growl, Godzilla quickly turned around and slapped Mothra back with his tail, pummeling her and sending her flying back into a building behind her!

"Reeeeeeeeaaaaaaaawwrrr!", Mothra roared in distress as she crash landed into the building behind her, which ended up causing it to fall on top of her.

"Skreeeeeeeeoooooooonk!", Godzilla roared back at her, with this roar serving as a warning for her to stay out of his way.

With Mothra seemingly dealt with, Godzilla was about to resume his destruction of Shanghai, but before he could, he began to hear some rumbling coming from the rubble Mothra was buried in, and before he knew it, the Queen of the Monsters came bursting out of it, expanding her wings and flapping herself into the sky, relatively unscathed by the event.

"Reeeeeeaaaaaaawwrrr!", Mothra roared at Godzilla again as she was beginning to grow more irritated with him.

Knowing that Mothra would not back down, Godzilla knew that he was going to have to take her out of the fight, but not kill her, for even though he knew she would be reborn, just like always, he would never forgive himself if he harmed his Queen, just as Mothra would not ever even think about wanting to kill Godzilla. Despite this, Godzilla turned back around to face her, staring her down, intensely with his two yellow eyes.

Before Godzilla could initiate any attack or continue communicating with Mothra to leave him be, Mothra now made it her mission to stop Godzilla by force, given that her peaceful method was not working. With this, Mothra began flapping her wings back and forth from where she was in the sky, where the flapping of her wings became so intense to where it sent a large gust of wind rushing towards Godzilla, a wind that was powerful enough to where even Godzilla kept being forced backwards, for not even he was able to overcome the wind current Mothra created.

Knowing that any of his normal physical attacks would be useless, as he was not able to get close to her because of the wind, Godzilla knew he would need to use his atomic breath to shoot at her, something he did not want to do, given how fragile Mothra was and how he did not want to kill her or damage her too much. Despite this, it was his only choice, and after charging up the attack, Godzilla fired his atomic breath at one of her wings, making sure it would not make contact with her body.

Mothra was able to dodge the attack, however, which also caused her to cease with her creation of the strong wind current. With the attack causing Mothra to stop with her wind, Godzilla immediately ceased firing his atomic breath, still not wanting to do too much harm to her.

Using her skill of speed in the air, Mothra was able to quickly fly all around and across Godzilla in nearly every direction in hopes of disorienting him with him not being able to keep up with her. While a few years ago, Godzilla was in a similar situation with a Titan called Megalon, this was much more challenging, as Mothra was much faster than him in the sky, making her impossible for Godzilla to keep up with. Besides, even if he could keep up with her, Godzilla would need to find a way to take her down either with physical attacks or using his atomic breath to where it wouldn't hit her body.

Realizing that her disorientation tactic was working, Mothra used it to her advantage by shooting her silk out of her small mouth, a substance which acted as a webbing material and was said to be even stronger than steel. While using her silk, Mothra did her best to fire on Godzilla's arms, legs, and even his tail, as she was trying to restrict his movements as much as possible.

Godzilla, however, was not having it, and even with the power Mothra's silk had, it was not nearly enough to stop him. Growing fed up and more irritated, Godzilla used the strength of his tail to force it free of the webbing, followed by him slamming it right into Mothra for a second time, causing her to fall to the ground, on her back!

"Reeeeeeeeaaaaaaaawwrrr!", Mothra roared as she hit the ground hard.

"Skreeeeeeeoooooonk!", Godzilla roared back at her before he began approaching her.

Before Godzilla could reach her, Mothra was quickly able to regain her bearings and return to the sky again! This time, she made sure to fly up to a much higher altitude, an altitude so high, to where there would be no way for Godzilla to hit her with his tail or any other of his physical attacks. Using the same strategy she used before, Mothra fired her silk webbing on Godzilla again, hoping to cover him up in the heavy and sticky substance. Now, it was becoming clear what Mothra was trying to do: since Godzilla refused to listen to her reason, and despite their history and symbiotic relationship, Mothra knew that he needed to be stopped, and the only way she could think to do it would be to imprison him within her own webbing.

With Godzilla unable to retaliate with his physical attacks, he was now becoming more and more covered in the webbing, where some parts of his body were now completely covered in the substance. However, Godzilla soon realized what Mothra was attempting to do, and while, in a way, he did love her, he was not going to let her do this to him. He knew he had no choice but to use his atomic breath, in which, after charging it up, he fired it directly up at her, where the blast struck the bottom part of her right wing, causing a piece of it to burn off in an instant and for Mothra to lose her sense of balance while in the air!

"Reeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaawwrrr!", Mothra roared in pain and distress as she helplessly fell to the ground and crash-landed face-first right into an entire city block!

"Skreeeeeeeeeeoooooooonk!", Godzilla roared in victory with Mothra defeated, but not killed, just as he had intended.

Knowing that he was able to damage her wing and limit her main ability of flight, Godzilla knew that Mothra would learn not to continue challenging him. With this, after staring down at her in the rubble of the city block, Godzilla promptly turned around and resumed his destruction of Shanghai.

Thankfully, Mothra was able to emerge from the rubble of the city block, but with the damage she received to her wing, along with having plummeted into the ground multiple times, even she knew that she was in no position to continue fighting Godzilla, and that she simply would not be able to defeat him. Still, she could not help but feel heartbroken at the sight of the King of the Monsters allowing his vengeance to consume him in such a way that he relished in attacking and killing so many innocent humans, ruining the lives of countless individuals. Together, Godzilla and Mothra were made to be the protectors of Earth, and to watch Godzilla become a relentless destroyer, the very thing that he fought against, was something that caused Mothra to feel like her heart was shattered into pieces.

"Reeeeeeaaaaaawrrr…reeeeeeeaaaawwrrr…!", Mothra roared as she beckoned to Godzilla, now begging him to just stop in his destruction.

In response, all Godzilla did was look back at Mothra and scowl at her with a growl, which was his way of telling her to stop trying to make him stop doing what he believed was right, for both his sake, and more importantly, her own. Paying Mothra no more mind, Godzilla promptly turned away from her again before continuing his destruction across the city of Shanghai.

Feeling an overwhelming sense of defeat and regret wash over her, knowing that she could not convince Godzilla to forgive, or even stop him in his rampage, Mothra, despite her damaged wing, returned to the sky, flew out of Shanghai, and back towards the direction of Infant Island. As she flew away, Godzilla took one last look at her in the sky, where he let out a soft growl, for even he felt bad, having to do battle with her and even harm her due to their differing ideals. Despite this, Godzilla still believed that he must make the humans pay for their mistakes, and because of this, he still continued his destructive path in Shanghai.

Meanwhile, back on Cybertron, in the Iacon stronghold that the Dinobots had made to be their base of operation, all five of them were beginning to grow more and more worried with Elita One and Dinobot having taken so long when investigating Shockwave's laboratory in the Six Lasers Over Cybertron.

"Any word, Sludge?", Swoop asked the Dinobots' logistics expert.

"Nothing. No reports back, and no signs that they're on their way back yet…", Sludge replied, regretfully.

"Agh, I'm tired of this!", Slug shouted as he pounded the wall in front of him with his fist. "I know with our limited resources, it can take us awhile to report back, but this is ridiculous! I say we do what we should have done before by going in there, storming that lab, kill Shockwave and his goons, and get Elita and that Maximal outta there!"

"Are you crazy?!", Snarl replied. "We might be tough, but Shockwave's forces have us outnumbered a hundred to five, not to mention the fact that he's got access to both Bruticus and more importantly, MechaGodzilla!"

"Oh, okay, I guess that makes sense. Let's just stay here, wait around and maybe even read some bad fanfiction while we're at it!", Slug shouted with sarcasm. "Sure, it's not like Elita One might be dead or anything!"

"I don't want her to die, but if we go in there head-on against all of Shockwave's forces, then we're most definitely going to die, and if we die, chances are Elita One and Dinobot will die too", Snarl retorted.

"And if we don't go in there head-on, then Elita One and Dinobot are gonna die because we were too scared to do anything about it!", Slug argued back.

"Guys…let's take it easy, alright…?", Swoop interjected.

"Be quiet, Swoop!", Slug yelled at him.

"Quiet!", Grimlock yelled just before slamming his sword into the floor, causing everyone else to go silent in that moment. "Slug is right. We can't just sit here and do nothing when Shockwave could already kill them at any moment. We need to go, storm facility, kill Shockwave, and save friends…now…", he said as a declaration to his team.

"Grimlock, are you sure…?", Snarl asked.

"We do nothing, all of us will die to Shockwave eventually. We help friends, then at least we die like warriors, not cowards…", Grimlock replied with his intense voice.

"Sounds good to me!", Swoop said. "What's the play, big Grim?"

"Simple. We storm the facility head-on. If Shockwave wants to use his toy, then we get to Shockwave before he can", Grimlock said. "Dinobots! Gear up everything you have…"

Also on Cybertron, in Shockwave's laboratory located in Kaon, Shockwave and Bludgeon met with Onslaught and his Combaticons in order to discuss what happened with Elita One and Dinobot, as well as why it seemed like Shockwave wanted them to escape.

"So, let me get this straight…you were actually hoping that Elita and that Dinobot guy would get to Earth…?", Swindle asked Shockwave.

"Affirmative. However, given that they are now located on Earth, which is notably far away from Cybertron, they will be unable to communicate with the Dinobots on their whereabouts", Shockwave replied. "The logical hypothesis is that it will only be a matter of time until the Dinobots arrive at that laboratory. Once they arrive, we will be able to utilize MechaGodzilla in their instantaneous obliteration, so that we may finally hold dominion over this planet".

"Okay, well…why didn't we do that before, with Elita and her friend?", Vortex asked. "I mean, couldn't we have just killed them instead of letting them go to Earth?"

"I am afraid that information is still under confidential status…", Bludgeon replied in his sadistic voice.

"Yes. However, I can assure you that there is a reason for that decision, a reason of which I intend will have positive effects on the execution of Project Biohazard", Shockwave said. "Regardless, it will only be a matter of time until the Dinobots arrive. Combaticons, you will prepare for battle once again while Bludgeon and myself prepare MechaGodzilla for their arrival", he said before he and Bludgeon walked away.

"Onslaught, if you don't mind me asking, what's the point of us having to fight if MechaGodzilla's just gonna do all the work, anyway?", Swindle asked his leader.

"Because it will take Shockwave some time to prepare MechaGodzilla, meaning we must hold the Dinobots off while he does, which you should already know by now, Swindle", Onslaught replied in his authoritative manner. "You all heard Shockwave. Prepare for battle, where we will face the Dinobots at Shockwave's laboratory in the Six Lasers Over Cybertron".

Meanwhile, Shockwave and Bludgeon continued walking away, where they began talking about Shockwave's big plan of Project Biohazard.

"So…if you don't mind me asking, Shockwave, when do you plan to unleash this…Project Biohazard of yours…?", Bludgeon asked him.

"As you know, with this project, I have my two own synthetic Titans still in their dormant states on Earth, one of which has just been primed for its true emergence, which will be at a time of my choosing", Shockwave replied. "As for that factor, while their emergence at any point would have a significant chance at securing Decepticon dominion over Earth, the most logical course of action is to wait for a longer period of time".

"And…may I ask why…?", Bludgeon asked.

"Given that I have been maintaining the whereabouts of Earth during our time marooned on Cybertron, I have come to the realization that there is still one living Gojira specimen still alive, on that planet, one that holds the very power of the Primes within its own veins", Shockwave explained. "Upon Megatron's arrival on Earth, he attempted to claim the planet with two Titans of his own, which failed due to Godzilla defeating them, followed by Megatron attempting to align with another, more powerful Gojira specimen, which, even with betraying him, was still killed by Godzilla shortly after.
