A Little Hazbin 3: Rise of the Nephilim Ch. 11

The broadcast starts with the former film star introducing himself, whom seems nervous, "This is Channel 6-6-6 News. I'm Angel Dust."

"And I'm Tom Trench," the gas masked demon adds. "Today we bring breaking news."

"After years of, of…" the Spider Demon starts shaking. "I can't do this. Not to Charlie. Not Vaggie. And especially not the squirt," he turns to his co host. "They're family."

Tom places a hand on Angel's shoulder. "I understand, Angel. I can cover for you if you want to head on home."

"Thanks, Tom." With that, the Spider gets up and walks off screen.

With a sigh, the gas masked sinner turns back to the camera. "Breaking News. After the cancelled Extermination years ago, we have not heard word from Heaven beyond the incident during the Ice Age. However! Just moments ago, a message was delivered to us directly from the current leader of Heaven."

The screen changes to reveal the Leader in all his glory.

"Miss me, Losers!?" Adam greens at the camera. "That's right! The D(bleep) Master himself. Did you really think a tiny little housemaid with a needle would have been enough to get rid of me?" he cackles. "Now, I believe that little hiatus of my favorite pass time… well, second favorite pass time, comes to an end. Extermination Day is back on the table!" the first man holds back a laugh. "I guess calling it Extermination Day is miss leading. Let's call it the Last Extermination! As there will be no timer. Every Exorcist will be coming down there and none will leave until every last one of you f(bleep)ers are dead. And this time, there will be no holding back. It won't matter if you're Hellborn or not. It's open season! If you're thinking about leaving the Pride Ring, don't bother. I have cut off any contact outside. You cannot escape nor will anyone be coming to your aid. Not even that f(bleep)king loser of a king of yours," he then clears his throat, puts on a set of glasses, and picks up a paper to read. "Now, I am offering one pardon. You and your closest friends and family will be spared. In return, all you have to do is deliver the head of one Celest Morningstar," the first man turns back to the camera. "For any of you that actually have enough heart to not want to involve a child, don't worry," beside him an image of the now fully grown Celest appears. "She had a little growth spurt," he turns to look at the image. "She has a nice beach bod for a half-breed. If I see her in something a little less I might actually be tempted to hit that."

.oOo.

There was a screech from behind Celest and her mothers and the three turned to find one of the servant imps turned to stone holding a knife.

Stolas then glares at the rest of his servants, all of whom were quick to exit the room. The Goetia approaches them. "Are you alright?"

Celest with a contorted face says. "I'm fine but…" she turns to her parents. "I know that the Extermination is what's important, but it sounded like that Adam guy was trying to compliment me. Why do I feel icky?"

The mothers glance at one another and Charlie says tells her, "Adam has that effect on a lot of people."

Vaggie then steps up, "We need to get you out of here!"

"Now, now," Stolas tries calming them down. "You're all perfectly safe here. No one in their right mind would dare attack the home of a Goetia."

Everyone deadpans at him, and Loona says. "You do realize that this is Hell, right? Hardly anyone is in their ri—"

A large rock breaks through the window and Blitz glances outside.

"Hey, Stolas! There's an angry mob outside."

The Prince cautiously approaches the shattered window. "Oh, my!"

Outside the palace is an entire legion of demons. Sinners and Hellborn alike. Imps, Hellhounds, succubus. If it exists in Hell, they are present.

Just then, Charlie's phone went off and she answers. "Emmy? Now's not the… Okay. We'll meet you there," and the Acting Queen hangs up before turning to the owlman. "Prince Stolas. I need a portal to the Heaven Embassy."

.oOo.

Just as Emily was about to reach the entrance to the Embassy, a portal opens in front of her, and she comes to a halt as she stares up at the Not-so-Little Hazbin.

"Hey," was all that left the seraphim's mouth.

And Celest replies, "Hi."

The two stared at one another for a moment before there was a cough and they turned to the mothers just as the portal closes behind them.

Vaggie with a smug grin asks, "Are we interrupting something?"

Both girls answer. "No!"

Emily then gestures to the building. "W-we should head inside," and was quick to turn away, hoping that no one noticed the blush. She also missed the fact that Celest herself had a growing blush.

Once inside, the young seraphim start shouting. "Sera!" no answer. "Sera! I need to speak with you!" nothing but silence.

Everyone then enters the meeting room.

Charlie approaches the large table and takes notice of the food and tea. "Someone must be here."

"I don't think so," the angel shakes her head while still searching around. "That was from when I was meeting with Sera earlier."

Vaggie takes a closer inspection of the tea. "How long ago was it?"

"A couple hours. Why?"

The former Exorcist faces her fellow fallen angel. "This is a fresh pot."

"Sera!" Emily shouts. "I know you're here, Sera!" still no answer. "Mom!"

A door finally opens, and the cloaked Sera enters. She refuses to meet anyone in the eye. "I'm sorry."

"What is going on!?" Emily approaches her mother. "How the heck did Adam of all people become the leader of Heaven? First man or not, he's the last person who should have that job. And how could you let it happen?"

Vaggie's eye squints at the former leader of the seraphim and quietly makes her way around the room.

"I couldn't do anything, Emily," Sera tries approaching her daughter, only to have her step away. "After everything that I was responsible for, Heaven voted me out and Adam was voted in."

Charlie raises a brow. "Voted? I didn't know that could happen. And Adam of all people was voted in. How?"

"I'm not sure myself but this is just—" the former High Seraphim's voice drops with the feel of her cloak getting pulled off.

Vaggie drops the piece of cloth. "I thought something was off."

Both Charlie and Celest gasp as their eyes widen. Sera's exposed back reveals the lack of wings.

Emily removes her hands from her mouth. "You fell?"

Sera nods. "My actions had not only deemed unfit to lead Heaven but unfit to be an angel as well."

Celest started thinking. "But if you were voted out because of the Extermination then how did Adam get voted in with the plan for the Last Extermination?"

Instead of answering, Sera only glances at the younger seraphim.

"You weren't voted out because of the Extermination," Emily realizes. "It was because of me."

The elder seraphim approach her daughter and gently caresses her face. "I still do not regret it."

Emily leans into the touch for a moment before pushing her mother away. "How come you never said anything!?"

At that, the former Leader of Heaven looks down in shame. "I couldn't. I promise Adam that if I kept you and the Morningstars in the dark and keep him up to date on the Nephilim he swore that you would be spared. I lost you once, Emily," she looks back up at the daughter. "I couldn't lose you again."

"You already have," the younger seraphim glares with a tear falling down her face. "You used me to spy on my friends, Sera. We're through!" she barges out of the room with Celest following behind.

Sera reaches out but knows that Emily doesn't need her.

"Sera," Charlie approaches her with pleading look. "Please tell us anything that would help our daughter."

Vaggie nods. "And why is Adam so eager to go after her?"
