A/N: Sorry that it's been so long since I posted anything. Had some personal issues that I had to deal with and my email account that I use for fanfiction was hacked so I had to deal with that. But…it's all taken care of so I'm working on getting you guys some new content but in the meantime here's a little drabble that wouldn't leave my head as I was watching new moon last night.

Takes place during New Moon, After spending time in La Push with Jake and the rest of the wolves Bella realizes Edward was never her mate. That if he had been, he'd never would have left her. But when Alice comes to take her to Volterra to save Edward, she wonders who her mate really is.

Bella POV

"Enough!" A small blond vampire said.

"Jane." Edward growled from beside me. He tried to pull me to him but I snatched my arm out of his grasp and went to stand next to the two red eyed vampires. This made Alice chuckle.

Master Aro sent me to see what was taking so long." Jane said.

"Cullen here was trying to send the human away." The dark haired one said.

"No. The human comes with us. Master Aro wishes to speak with her." Jane said.

I nodded my head to the short girl. She turned and started to walk back down the hallway. The dark haired vampire held his arm out for me and I took it. "Thanks. I'm Bella." I said, introducing myself.

"Demetri. I'm the head of the guard. The one behind us is Felix, my second in command." Demetri said.

"It's nice to meet you." I said as we followed behind Jane. She was easy to identify. She was just as Edward had described her.

After we walked a ways, we were led into a massive throne room. "Ah! Isabella. Your alive after all." The one in the center said.

"That I am. May I ask?" I said and he nodded. "Which one of the kings are you?" I asked.

"I am Aro, the head king." He said. He held his hand out for mine and I took it. He led me over to the steps where three thrones sat. "Please sit." He said and I did. He sat down beside me. He turned and pointed at a vampire with short blond hair. "That is my brother Caius." Aro said and Caius gave me a nod. Then he turned to the other side where a dark haired vampire sat. "That is my brother Marcus."

"It's nice to meet you both." I said.

"Now, on to business. Do you know why you're here?" Aro asked.

I nodded slowly. "Yes. Edward was given some misinformation about me and he thought me to be dead." I told Aro. "When that happened, Alice asked me to come with her to hopefully try and save his life."

"Very noble. Putting yourself in a situation that isn't the brightest." Aro said.

"Brother, a moment?" Marcus interrupted.

Aro turned and looked at him confused, but stood up and walked over to him.
