Xiandra
Xiandra. A planet located deep in space in a galaxy far, far away. A large terrestrial planet in a solar system filled with 7 other planets. The planet was roughly 26-times the size of Earth with a gravity 14-times stronger than the gravitational of Earth. A single day on this planet lasted 36 Days and a single calendar year lasted around 400 Xiandrians days. The planet had a singular moon by the name of Omina orbiting around it. The planet itself orbited a bright blue star in a slightly elliptic orbit. The inhabitants of this planet refer to this blue star and refer to it Xienna, believing it to be a reincarnation of their goddess who, legend says, has sacrificed herself for the sake of their world.
The plant-like organisms on this planet are dominated by large fungi and flowers, but there are some trees and shrubs as well. The flowers come in almost every color imaginable, but they tend to be fairly small and largely populated. The fungi on the other hand, reach incredible heights, but are usually fairly pale in color. The trees reach incredible heights as well and usually come in every color imaginable much like the flowers of this planet.
Soft corals and various aquatic plants make up the plant-like life of the oceans on this planet. However, due to the unique properties of the water, many of these plants and corals have developed strange shapes and grow only to short sizes, with the exception of a handful of giant species.
The planet was home to a race of intelligent beings. Warriors, Scientists. This civilization was one of the most intelligent races in the entire galaxy and were known for their extraordinary powers when they would leave their home to another planet with a sun different from theirs. Legend has it that these beings were descendants from a rogue set of eternal who crash landed on this planet and had no desire to return home. These individuals would become the founders for the planets and the first settlers and who would go on to establish the planet.
Such a great civilization with a unique history and culture. One of which may not see their possible demise coming soon.

In the grand hall of the Council of Xiandra, a place adorned with intricate tapestries and polished marble, sounds of men screaming at one another could be heard throughout the halls. Standing before them was an esteemed scientist by the name of Konan. Konan was by far the most brilliant man in the history of the planet. He was the brains behind the technological advancements over the past few decades for the Xiandrian Empire. Konan stands tall and robust, wrapped in ropes of hardened muscle gained through endless struggles. Still, an aura of nobility stems from his steady, protective frame. His skin took on a bronzed oak shade, weathered yet vibrant with worldly experience. Years of working left its deep marks upon his features. His eyes hold the warmth of cured whiskey radiating keen intellect and fathoms of care worn heavy. His hair thick strands of rich walnut with streaks of silver streams. Clad in a set of Xiandrian robes.
"Council members of Xiandra, I implore you to listen to reason," Konan began, his hands gesturing with fervor. "Our beloved home is in grave danger, and we must act swiftly to protect its inhabitants."
"Danger? Last time I checked we were winning the war with the Archernonians!" yelled a member of the Council to which Konan responded with a deep breath.
A murmur rippled through the council chamber, curiosity mingled with skepticism as the council member exchanged glances. They had long respected his intellect and contributions to the realm of science as well as the planet as a whole but his claims of imminent danger unsettled them.
Konan continued his voice growing stronger by the minute. "Yes, we have been successful in repelling the Archernonian forces thus far, but there is a new threat on the horizon that we cannot afford to ignore. We've been greedy with our expansion. The signs are undeniable. The seismic activity across the planet has increased dramatically and my research indicates that a catastrophic event looms on the horizon. Our core is dying. If we do not evacuate our people, we may risk losing everything and everyone."
Just as Konan finished his plea, a wave of silence suddenly came over the council. Konan turned to see the General of the Xiandrian Empire's Military Division, General Corvok. Corvok with skin as pale as ceremonial bone, weathered by campaigns across the stars. Scars criss-cross his flesh, badges of conquest. A set of scars over his right eye. His eyes twin pits of fathomless malachite, reflecting his savage soul. All who meet that chilling glare feel reality warp under their weight. His hair raven locks spill from his scalp in matted strands, threaded through with braids of past victories. A thick black beard veils his grim, chiseled jaw. To say he was an imposing figure was an understatement to say the least. His muscles were living granite carved his titanic frame through ages of war. He looks built to withstand the death throes of dying worlds under boot. Clad in an all-black Xiandrian military uniform with black leather gloves and leather boots.
He waltzed in holding the hand of the princess of the Xiandrian Empire herself, Princess Lilania. Her complexion had a celestial glow, as if lit from within by an inner light. Her skin resembles polished moonstone, smooth and luminous in an otherworldly ivory tone. Her eyes are a vivid seafoam green, reflecting her lifelong attunement to Xiandra's lush natural forces. They sparkle with life-giving vitality and deep compassion. Waves of glossy platinum waterfall down Lilania's back in fine strands, each strand filled with energy. When she moves, her hair floats as if underwater. Her belly is noticeably quite large from the baby bump. A sight that hadn't been seen in centuries on Xiandra.
It was almost as time stopped, Lilania and Konan caught each other's eyes. Anyone with eyes could see the tension between Lilania and Konan as if there was something neither one of them was telling.
"You are a scientist, Konan," General Corvok sneered, his voice dripping with skepticism. "Your mind is consumed by theories and fantasies. Xiandra has stood for several millennia, and it will continue to do so. Your claims of imminent disaster are nothing more than the ramblings of an insane mind. We should not be focusing on this imbecile and his claims but should focus on my betrothed, Princess Lilania and I. For we will be having the first natural born child in centuries. A true heir to the name," Corvok said, poison in his words.
As the tension thickened in the council chamber, Konan's eyes flickered from General Corvok to Princess Lilania, the air heavy with unspoken truths and hidden emotions. The gravity of the situation weighed down on the council members as they watched the unfolding drama between the two powerful figures.
Princess Lilania, radiating an ethereal aura, stood beside the formidable General Corvok, her expression a mix of concern and unreadable depth. Despite her regal presence and the excitement surrounding her pregnancy, there was an undercurrent of unease in the room, a sense that something profound was at stake beyond the impending birth of a royal heir.
Konan squared his shoulders, his voice unwavering as he addressed General Corvok. "General, I understand your skepticism. However, the signs of our planet's distress are not mere theories. The very core of Xiandra is showing signs of instability that cannot be ignored. We must prioritize the safety of our people above all else, including the forthcoming child."
General Corvok's malachite eyes bore into Konan with a mix of disdain and calculated aggression. "You dare question the priorities of the Xiandrian Empire, scientist? Your warnings of impending doom hold no weight against the strength and resilience of our civilization. We have weathered storms far greater than your prophecies, and we will continue to do so."
The council hall seemed to hold its breath, caught in the clash of wills between the visionary scientist and the battle-hardened general, with the serene presence of Princess Lilania adding a layer of complexity to the unfolding drama.
Princess Lilania, her eyes shimmering with a blend of compassion and wisdom, stepped forward, breaking the charged silence. "Gentlemen, we must consider all possibilities with open minds and clear hearts. The safety of our people and the future of Xiandra are paramount. Let us not dismiss any warning, no matter its source, without due consideration."
Her words hung in the air, a call for unity and reason in the face of uncertainty and conflicting interests. The council members exchanged glances, the weight of their decisions pressing down upon them as the fate of Xiandra teetered on a knife's edge, poised between the visions of impending doom and the pride of a civilization forged through centuries of triumph and sacrifice.
Corvok opened his mouth getting ready to verbally pounce on the scientist but a rumble in the ground made everyone gasp.
As tension mounted, the King of Xiandra and Head of the Xiandrian Council, King Zandon, spoke up, voice trembling with uncertainty.
"We must consider all possibilities. Konan's expertise cannot be dismissed lightly. We owe it to our people to investigate further, to ensure their safety."
Konan and Corvok exchanged a glance as the room erupted into debate, the council members engaged in a passionate discussion fueled by Konan's plea and General Corvok's skepticism. The fate of Xiandra hung in the balance as they grappled with the decision that would shape the future of the planet. A future filled with uncertainty.

The soft glow of the blue sun filtered through the curtains of Lilania room. She sat in a comfortable armchair with her hand on her belly. Mind racing as she thought about the situation she was in.
Just as Lilania was sitting and collecting her thoughts a knock echoed through the room followed by the entrance of a kind-hearted nurse. The nurse smiled warmly, her eyes filled with a mixture of tenderness and professionalism.
"Everything okay, Lilania?," the nurse asked softly.
Lilania looked up at the nurse, her expression filled with determination. She hesitated for a moment, contemplating the weight of her request, before speaking with a resolute tone.
"Nurse, I need your help," She began, her voice steady. "I have a request to make. Could you please contact Konan, the Head of the Science division and arrange a meeting between us? It's of the utmost importance."
The nurse studied her earnest expression, recognizing the significance of her words. She nodded, her compassion shining through her eyes.
"Of course, Princess. I understand the urgency," the nurse replied, her voice soothing. "I will do my best to arrange the meeting promptly. You can count on me."
"And please, keep it a secret from Corvok."
A sense of relief washed over Meni as she thanked the nurse, grateful for her understanding and willingness to assist. The nurse gently placed a hand on Lilania's shoulder, offering a comforting reassurance before leaving the room. Her heart swelled with anticipation and anxiety, knowing that the forthcoming meeting with Konan could change everything.
!-!-!-!
Days had passed since Lilania had asked the nurse to contact Konan. The two agreed on a time and place where they could successfully meet without the interruption of Corvok. The General was away on a business trip and left the Princess alone at the palace. But with his absence, she knew she could safely and peacefully meet with him.
The location in which Konan had selected was a secluded grove nestled amidst the tranquil beauty of the embrace of Xiandra's nature. As the Princess arrived at the meeting spot, her heart fluttered with a mix of anticipation and nervousness.
Konan stood there, waiting, his eyes filled with a blend of apprehension and longing. The moment their gazes met, a surge of emotions coursed through them, a silent acknowledgement of the bond that had been hidden for far too long. Without a word, they embraced, their bodies entwined in a mixture of relief and unspoken love.
"Princess," Konan said as Lilania simply shook her head.
"You can skip the pleasantries nobody's around, Konan," Lilania said, making Konan smile big as he walked towards her and planted a kiss on her lips.
"Oh thank goddess, it pains me to have to watch you pretend to be in love with him," Konan said as Lilania let out a deep sigh of relief being with someone she truly felt emotions for rather than being with someone for political gain.
"How do you think I feel knowing that my child's true father has to remain hidden while I let Corvok believe he has an heir? If he finds out, he will kill us. All of us," She said, gazing down at her belly. Konan placed a hand on her belly, forcing her gaze into his eyes.
"Lilania, I want to send you and him to another world. Another planet. Doing so would save him from the Corvok and from-" the ground beneath them started to shake aggressively. Rumbling stronger than it ever did before. Konan knew that at this rate, there was no telling as to how long this planet had. And with Corvok at the helm, he didn't care about preserving the culture, only forcing that culture onto other worlds.
"You can't be serious, I'm not leaving with you, my child needs his father. His true father."
Konan stood there, a mix of determination and fear in his eyes as the ground continued to tremble beneath them, a stark reminder of the imminent danger that loomed over Xiandra. The unspoken emotions between him and Princess Lilania hung heavy in the air, a bond that had been concealed for too long, now surfacing amidst the chaos threatening their world.
"Princess," Konan began, his voice urgent, "we have no time to argue. The seismic activity is escalating, and we must act swiftly to secure a future for our child."
and the people of Xiandra. I will stay behind to keep Corvok off our trail, but you and the child must be safe."
Lilania's eyes widened with a mix of disbelief and resolve. "You can't ask me to leave without you, Konan. The risks are too great. We can't sacrifice you for our escape," she pleaded, her hand resting on her belly, the weight of their unborn child's future heavy on her heart.
Konan's gaze was unwavering as he held Lilania's hand. "Your child needs his true father, Lilania. And right now, that father needs to ensure your safety. I will find a way to follow, but for now, you must leave Xiandra. Our planet is in its death throes, and we cannot afford to delay any longer."
As the ground beneath them continued to convulse, a stark reminder of the urgency of their situation, Konan and Lilania shared a moment of silent understanding, their unspoken love and sacrifice binding them together in the face of overwhelming odds.
With a heavy heart, Lilania nodded, tears glistening in her eyes. "I will go, for the sake of our child and the future of Xiandra. But know that my heart will be with you, Konan, always."
"I have no doubt in my mind, come with me," he said as he approached his vehicle, a small floating spacecraft. She looked around before walking towards the spacecraft with her child in her arms. As she entered the spacecraft, she unbeknownst was watched by the main individual she was trying to hide from, Corvok standing there with a set of binoculars and a scowl that could not be erased.
He raised his wrist communicator to his mouth as he sent out a transmission.
"STRIKE Team mobilize units to Konan's quarters. No one enters until I've given the command," The General said as rage bleed through his words.

The couple of Liliana and Konan now stood in his lab looking at the ship. A sleek marvel of advanced technology, gleamed with metallic surfaces and intricate patterns. Its streamlined design and transparent cockpit hinted at its speed and maneuverability, while elegant wings added both aesthetic appeal and functional stability. Bathed in an ethereal glow, the ship stood as a symbol of hope, ready to carry someone across dimensions to a safer future.
"Have you chosen a world?"
"I have. It's a planet called Earth."
"Earth?" Liliana questioned, her voice tinged with uncertainty. "How can we ensure his safety there, Konan? It's a world so different from our own, so alien in its ways."
Konan met her gaze, his expression resolute. "I have dedicated years to studying Earth, understanding its nuances and its people. I have lived among them, learning their customs and their strengths. Our child will thrive there, Liliana. He will be a god among mortals, gifted with powers beyond their comprehension."
Liliana's hand trembled as she placed it on her belly, the weight of their decision pressing down on her. "But what if the ship fails, Konan? What if we are left stranded in the void, alone and helpless?"
Konan's eyes softened as he reached out to her, his touch gentle yet firm. "Liliana, we are running out of time. Our planet is on the brink of destruction, and Corvok's tyranny looms over us like a shadow. We cannot let fear paralyze us. We must act for the sake of our child, for the chance of a new beginning."
As the ground trembled beneath them, a stark reminder of the urgency of their escape, Konan and Liliana shared a moment of silent understanding, their hearts heavy with the weight of their choices.
"We owe it to our child to give him a chance at life, Liliana," Konan whispered, his voice filled with determination. "We owe it to ourselves to fight for a future beyond the grasp of tyranny and destruction."
With a nod of reluctant acceptance, Liliana took a deep breath, steeling herself for the journey ahead. She walked towards the ship walking up the steps before taking a seat in the cockpit of the ship itself. Konan took a deep breath looking at the mother of his child before walking over to the controls. He started to press the buttons on the controls punching in the coordinates for Earth. The pod started to hiss as the doors started to close.
Konan was watching intently as the ship's systems hummed to life, a symphony of lights and sounds filling the cockpit as the vessel prepared to depart from Xiandra, leaving behind a world on the brink of destruction for the promise of a new beginning on Earth.
Liliana glanced back at Konan, her eyes reflecting a mix of apprehension and hope, a silent acknowledgment passing between them of the sacrifices they were making for their child's future.
As the ship's engines roared to life, casting a bright glow around them, Konan's gaze locked with Liliana's, a silent promise of unwavering support and love passing between them in that fleeting moment.
Their gaze was broken when a blast came firing towards the console making Konan turn his head to see Corvok waltz in with a sneer across his face.
"You two played me like a fool, never again. I shall bury you both next to each other, "Because of her actions, I will kill you all,"
The General pulled out a long-sword made with a blackened-steel like material. Konan took a gulp as he quickly raced over to his workstation grabbing his sword while Liliana looked on in horror.
Konan and Corvok rushed into battle in the center of the lab, with their swords poised for battle. Konan and General Corvok faced each other, their swords drawn, the air charged with tension and the weight of their conflicting ideals. With a determined glint in his eyes, General Corvok lunged forward, his sword slashing through the air with a ruthless intensity. Konan, fueled by a mix of desperation and unwavering belief, met each strike with skillful defense, his movements calculated and precise.
The clash of steel reverberated through the lab, the sound echoing off the walls as sparks flew with each impact. Konan, driven by his conviction to protect his family, pushed forward, launching his own counterattacks with a blend of agility and strategic finesse.
"I can't believe she had a child with a scoundrel like you!"
"I'm gonna make you eat those words!"
Konan had Corvok reeling with a swift kick to the chest making Corvok stumble back. His attention shifted to the ship seeing Liliana inside the cockpit. Corvok saw this and raised his communicator up to his mouth to command his STRIKE team to move in.
The STRIKE Team came rushing in guns aimed at the ship firing at the ship as the ship slowly shifted to a position where it could launch upward.
As the battle raged on, sweat trickled down their brows, their breathing growing heavy. Konan's lab, once a place of scientific discovery and innovation, now bore witness to a brutal confrontation that threatened to destroy everything he held dear.
The STRIKE Team started to launch an onslaught on the ship but their small energy blasts started to bounce off the ship as the roof started to slowly peel itself open and the ship began its ascent, flying off into the sky
"NOOOO!" Corvok shouted as Konan looked up into the sky.
In a moment of swift maneuvering, General Corvok managed to catch Konan off guard. His sword, guided by a cruel twist of fate, found its mark, piercing through Konan's defenses and stabbing deep into his side. Time seemed to slow as pain surged through Konan's body, his grip on his sword weakening.
"NOOOOO!" Liliana cried out as she watched the cruel battle unfold. With a sadistic smirk, General Corvok stood over Konan, reveling in his triumph. The lab's cold, artificial light cast an eerie glow on his face, accentuating the callousness in his eyes. The weight of their clash hung heavy in the air, the consequences of their choices manifesting in this fateful moment.
Konan, his strength faltering, sank to his knees, blood pooling beneath him before he dropped to his back.
Konan laid on the ground, taking deep breaths as he stared up at the open roof watching as the ship carrying the pregnant mother of his child blasted off into the open sky.
"Goodbye my child, my hopes and dreams travel with you," He said mustering up the strength to say his last words.
"You think they're safe! I will find them and bury them next to your body!" Corvok said as his team came running over to him.
In the fading light of a dying star, Konan lay on the cold, desolate ground, his life force ebbing away. The battle had been fought, the sacrifices made, and now he found himself on the precipice of his final journey. His lab, once a sanctuary of knowledge, now transformed into a somber chamber of his last moments.
As his vision blurred and the world dimmed around him, Konan's weary eyes caught a glimpse of the ship, soaring majestically through the sky into a portal. The vessel, a beacon of hope, carried his child and his mother, the last vestige of his legacy, to the safety of Earth.
A bittersweet smile graced Konan's lips as he watched the ship grow smaller, disappearing into the vastness of a small portal. His heart swelled with a mixture of pride, love, and sorrow. He had fought so tirelessly to ensure their escape, and now, as his own life slipped away, he found solace in the knowledge that his sacrifice had not been in vain.
With each shallow breath, Konan's consciousness wavered, his body growing weaker. Yet, in this fragile state, he clung to his last breath, his gaze fixed on the distant stars that framed their departure. Through the veil of his fading senses, he whispered words of love and guidance, hoping that somehow they would reach his child's ears.
As Konan's eyelids grew heavy, the stars overhead seemed to dance, their brilliance fading into a serene darkness. His mind embraced the quiet stillness, his thoughts intertwined with the memories of his life's work and the dreams he had nurtured.
In his final moments, Konan's heartbeat slowed, his grip on life loosening. The weight of his existence faded away, replaced by a profound sense of peace. He let go, surrendering to the cosmic forces that awaited him, his soul drifting into the unknown.
As the last flicker of life left his body, Konan's last sight was that of his family's ship, carrying the hope of a new beginning. In that moment, he found solace, knowing that his sacrifice had granted his family a chance for a future free from the shackles of their troubled world. And as his spirit ascended, he whispered a final farewell, etching the love he held for his child into the fabric of the universe.

Earth
Meanwhile, in Texas, a red pick up truck was moving along a road in a nearby forest. The driver inside this truck: a woman by the name of Evelyn Haynes. Evelyn has delicate porcelain skin, rosy cheeks perpetually bearing welcoming dimples. On her hands, slight soft wrinkles attest to a life spent nurturing all manner of growing things with care. Her eyes, bright sky blue gleaming with pain behind thin-framed glasses. Eyes puffy and red from crying all night. Waves of chestnut hair with streaks of gray. Beside her rest a nearly-empty bottle of Jack Daniels Whiskey and a chrome revolver.
The car ride had been silent so far. Her mind was focused on her late husband, Lucas Joseph Haynes. Life had been super hard for her since she lost him. And right now she was at a point where she didn't know if she wanted to continue life without him.
She put the truck in park, finding that she was at a decent spot. She picked up the revolver and the bottle of whiskey downing the rest of it as tears streamed down her face. She held the revolver underneath her chin, hands trembling being overrun with emotion.
Unbeknownst to her, her destiny was about to change forever as a sudden roar shattered the peaceful ambiance. The ground trembled beneath her feet, and before she could react, a massive ship descended from the sky, crashing into the earth with a thunderous impact.
The force of the landing sent shockwaves rippling through the ground causing her to drop the gun and for a shot to fire off. She opened her eyes and saw a bullet hole in the ceiling of the truck making her take a deep breath.
As Evelyn's heart pounded in her chest, the reverberations of the impact echoed through the forest, mingling with the sound of the gunshot that had pierced the silence of her truck. Shaken and wide-eyed, she peered through the shattered windshield to behold the surreal sight of an alien vessel looming before her, its alien form casting an ominous shadow over the trees.
The air crackled with a strange energy as Evelyn's hands trembled, the remnants of the whiskey bottle slipping from her grasp to the floor of the truck. Her mind raced with a jumble of fear, confusion, and a hint of curiosity at the unexpected arrival of this otherworldly vessel.
She stepped out of the vehicle picking up the revolver and grabbing a flashlight. As Evelyn cautiously approached the massive ship that had crashed into the earth, her flashlight cutting through the dimness of the forest, she noticed a strange pod protruding from the ship's metallic hull. Intrigued and filled with a sense of foreboding, she moved closer, her steps tentative on the uneven forest floor.
As she reached the pod, a soft glow emanated from within, casting an ethereal light in the surrounding darkness. Her heart raced with a mixture of trepidation and curiosity as she hesitantly reached out to touch the smooth surface of the pod.
To her shock and disbelief, the pod's hatch hissed open, revealing a scene straight out of a science fiction tale. Inside lay a woman, her face writhing with pain. Evelyn's eyes scanned over the lady seeing the enlarged belly she possessed.
As Evelyn's flashlight illuminated the interior of the pod, the woman inside grasped at her swollen belly, her face contorted with the agony of childbirth. Evelyn's initial shock gave way to a surge of urgency and compassion as she realized the gravity of the situation.
"Okay, my name is Evelyn, I'm gonna help you," Evelyn said.
"Liliana," the alien woman said, introducing herself.
Without hesitation, Evelyn knelt beside the woman, her hands steady despite the tumult of emotions swirling within her. The woman's cries echoed through the forest, blending with the eerie silence that enveloped the crash site. Liliana simply nodded her head frantically panting for her breath.
Evelyn sprinted back to her truck grabbing a blanket, a white blanket. A blanket that belonged to her late husband. Evelyn's heart swelled with determination as she gazed at Liliana, a stranger whose fate had become unexpectedly entwined with her own. With a steady hand and a calm voice, Evelyn guided Liliana through each wave of pain, offering words of encouragement in the face of uncertainty.
As the forest whispered with a symphony of rustling leaves and distant echoes, Evelyn's focus narrowed to the task at hand. With each passing moment, the bond between them deepened, forged in the crucible of shared struggle and impending new life.
In the soft glow of the pod's interior, amidst the remnants of a world far beyond their understanding, Evelyn and Liliana stood united in a dance of creation and rebirth. The air crackled with an otherworldly energy, an unseen force guiding them through the uncharted territory of birth and renewal.
"Aaaaaaah" Agony. Agony was the only thing Liliana was feeling right now at the moment. The pain and agony that a man could never feel or handle. It was the pain and agony of a pregnant woman getting ready to bring forth a new life into the chaotic universe. Her loud screams of agony could be heard from miles from where she was.
"You're almost there, keep going!" Evelyn said, pushing Liliana to keep going.
"Aaaaaah" she bellowed out again in pain.
There was one final scream that just so happened to be louder than the others as she pushed out a crying baby who's cries could be heard from great distances. As Evelyn cradled the newborn boy in her arms, the forest seemed to hush in reverence, the echoes of Liliana's final push fading into the night. The cries of the newborn resonated through the trees, a testament to the miracle of life amidst the wreckage and uncertainty that surrounded them.
"It's a boy," Evelyn whispered, her voice filled with a mixture of awe and tenderness as she wrapped the infant in a soft white blanket. The baby's cries, strong and insistent, filled the air with a promise of new beginnings and endless possibilities.
Amidst the bittersweet symphony of birth and loss, Evelyn's gaze shifted back to Liliana, whose breaths grew shallow and labored. Concern etched across her features, Evelyn gently laid the baby beside the exhausted mother, ensuring they were both safe and comfortable.
"Liliana?" Evelyn's voice was soft, a gentle inquiry amidst the quietude of the forest.
"Take care of him, please," Liliana said with a shallow breath. Her eyelids grew heavy as the sight in front of her started to fade away.
"Liliana?" Evelyn said to no answer, "Liliana?!" She said again to no answer. Evelyn's eyes glanced down at the baby in her arms that seemingly started to sleep.
Evelyn reached down, kneeling next to Liliana's body putting two fingers on her neck to find a pulse but found nothing. Evelyn's heart sank as she felt the stillness beneath her fingertips, the absence of a pulse a stark confirmation of what her senses already feared. With a heavy heart, she gazed at Liliana's peaceful face, a portrait of serenity amidst the shadows that encroached around them.
As the forest whispered its ancient secrets and the newborn slept soundly beside his departed mother, Evelyn felt a wave of sorrow wash over her, a tide of grief and unanswered questions that lingered in the air like a haunting melody.
In the quiet of the night, under the canopy of stars that bore witness to the unfolding drama, Evelyn made a silent vow to honor Liliana's final wish—to care for the child who now rested in her arms, a beacon of hope in the midst of sorrow.
She looked up at the sky shaking her head. This child was a gift in a way. A gift she believes was sent to her by her late husband. This child was a bridge. A bridge between two worlds: wherever his homeworld was and Earth. He was going to change the world.
Evelyn's heart swelled with a mix of emotions as she cradled the sleeping newborn in her arms, his innocent face bathed in the soft glow of the moonlight filtering through the trees. With a sense of solemn purpose, she made a decision that felt both inevitable and profound.
"My husband Lucas was a great man, and I believe he sent me you. I'm going to name you Lucas Joseph Haynes after him, but you will make your own path, my son," Evelyn whispered softly, the weight of her words carrying a sense of both legacy and liberation.
In that moment of quiet revelation, as the forest murmured with the secrets of the night and the stars bore witness to the unfolding of a new chapter, Evelyn felt a sense of peace settle over her—a peace born of acceptance and the knowledge that in Lucas, she had found not just a responsibility but a gift.
With a tender touch, she adjusted the blanket around the sleeping infant, his tiny form cradled in the crook of her arm, a symbol of the bond that now connected them—a bond forged in the crucible of loss and love, of endings and beginnings.
As she looked down at Lucas, her son, a sense of determination filled her heart—a determination to protect, nurture, and guide him as he embarked on the journey of life that lay ahead. She knew it would be hard. A child from another planet, She had to raise him as her own but also make sure that he knew where he came from and who he is. She knew that his path would be his own, shaped by his choices, his dreams, and the legacy of those who had come before him.
With a final glance at the stars above, Evelyn made a silent vow to honor the memory of her late husband and his birth mother. to cherish the gift of this new life, and to walk alongside Lucas as he discovered the boundless possibilities that awaited him in a world filled with both challenges and wonders.
And as the night embraced them in its quiet embrace, mother and son rested in the gentle cradle of the forest, their futures intertwined. Their destinies forged on that fateful night.
A/N: Hey it's been a minute since I've done anything on this site and for good reason I'm kinda intimidated by the system and the fanbases if I'm being completely honest but I have decided to overcome all of that shit and drop this story. This story basically revolves around my OC, Lucas Haynes AKA Paragon (I know real freaking original but it was all I could think of) and his journey in the Marvel Universe. Now I'm not the most knowledgeable person regarding the comics I typically know more about the films than the comics but I have decided to put him in the comics just because he would have more autonomy when it comes to his feats and his power. And yes this OC is based on Superman if you don't like it, don't read it, it's as simple as that.
Castings:
