Joker looked down at his hard work on the kitchen counter, observing it through his glasses.

Sojiro had called the young man down from his room to make a meal for a customer who had just come into the café.

It was a very different dish to the kind which Joker was used to cooking and serving up here.

Usually, people came to LeBlanc to enjoy its iconic curry. Made from Sojiro's own special recipe, people from all across the city came to the little café to try it - and were never disappointed by how good it was.

What Joker had just made for this customer, however, was no curry.

It was lasagne.

"Well, this sure is different…" Joker murmured, glancing at a certain cat who was sitting upon his shoulder. "What d'you think?"

Morgana sniffed the lasagne before wrinkling his nose at the cheesy aroma. "It sure smell strong! I think I'd prefer some sushi over that!"

"Why?" Joker laughed. "'Cause you're a cat?"

"No, I am not a cat!" Morgana hissed. "I just prefer seafood over Italian food! Besides, I don't think my body would be able to take it in this form!"

Joker snickered as he picked the lasagne up from the worktop. He carried it out of the kitchen and towards the dining area. He gazed down at it before glancing at Morgana, chuckling with a shake of his head.

What kind of cat would want to eat lasagne? The idea was absurd yet amusing to him.

Joker carried the lasagne towards the table where the customer was waiting. The middle-aged man who sat there turned towards the teenager, smiling upon seeing he was carrying exactly what he'd ordered.

"There's the meal!" he exclaimed. "And it sure looks good too!"

"Here's your lasagne, sir," Joker said, placing the plate down on the table in front of the customer. "I sure hope you enjoy it."

"Oh this lasagna isn't for me," the man replied. "It's for my cat!"

Joker froze. His ears perked up in disbelief over what he'd heard. On his shoulder, a confused gaze crossed Morgana's furry face, showing he was just baffled by what the customer had said.

"This lasagna's…" Joker murmured. "…for your cat?"

"For real?" Morgana cried, stealing Ryuji's catchphrase.

The man nodded with a smile before using his hand to push the plate across the table and away from him.

"Enjoy your lasagna, Garfield!"

It was at that moment when Joker realised the man was not alone at the table. He peered across to the opposite side of it - and his eyes widened behind his glasses.

Sitting at the table with the man, looking at the plate of lasagne with a hungry gaze on his face - was a fat, orange cat.

Wasting no time, Garfield lunged at the lasagne. He grabbed large potions of the hot Italian dish to shove down his mouth. He spared no thought to how much his owner - Jon - was going to have to pay for this. All he could think of was how good his favourite food was - and it had certainly been made to perfection at this little café.

Bewildered by what he was seeing, Joker rubbed his eyes. After all the hard work he'd put into this lasagne, it was being fed to nothing more than a cat.

"Hey, buddy!" Morgana called to Garfield. "You really like to eat that stuff?! For real?!"

Garfield paused in the middle of devouring the lasagna, sending a frown towards his fellow feline.

"You got a problem with that?" he asked, speaking in a voice which only Morgana was able to hear.

"But you're a cat!"

"Look who's talking!" Garfield turned his gaze back to his meal, smiling at it lovingly. "Yeah, I'm a cat alright! A cat who's always hungry! For a cat who's always in the mood for food, there's no better dish than lasagna."

As Garfield went back to eating his lasagna, Morgana shook his head. If this orange cat's appetite really was as big as he said, it was no wonder he was so fat. As much as Morgana enjoyed food, he didn't want his lean shake to fill out to be as tubby as this kitty's!

"Well, kid," Jon said, "it looks like Garfield is really enjoying the lasagna you made for him!"

"I'm glad to hear that!" Joker answered, forcing a grin. "It was my first time ever making one!"

"Really?" Jon smiled. "Then I think you're gonna be making a lot more of 'em!"

"Why d'you say that?"

"Seeing as Garfield clearly likes your lasagna, I'm sure he'd love to have it again!" Jon beamed. "We'll be back to visit this café some other day!"

"Yeah, but not on Monday!" Garfield added. "I hate Mondays!"

A sweat-drop ran down the back of Joker's head. He held his forced smile. He was pleased to have gotten LeBlanc some new customers to bring their business Sojiro's way - although he couldn't believe he was going to have to regularly make lasagna for a cat.

As the orange-furred animal was happily eating his meal, the dark-haired young man was humbly eating his words.

Joker had found out exactly what kind of cat would want to eat lasagna - which anyone could have told him was, of course, Garfield!
