After Seabound Jay is dealing with a trifecta of issues; grief from losing Nya, PTSD from almost drowning, and a new medical diagnosis which he is doing his best to ignore. His asthma episodes and emotional spiraling form a feedback loop, making everything worse. At some point Jay needs to admit, he just can't do this alone.
