"I can't believe we got chased down here by one third of a BLT. How are we gonna get out of this one Scoob?" Shaggy asked, scratching his head.
"Ret's climb rup." Shaggy crouched down so Scooby could use him as a step to start climbing up the wall. He got just under halfway when he grabbed a hold of what seemed to be an old tree root. Underneath it was a skeleton hand which he brushed with his paw. "RAHHHH!" he screamed, letting go and dropping on top of Shaggy. "Ouch!"
"Releton!"
"Skeleton? Oh boy." The pair looked up again to think of an alternative way of climbing up. They both looked confused as the once blue sky, now turned to a dark grey. "What's going on?"
"Reats me." Circles of green mist spun around in the air above the hole they were in. They held onto each other in fear, cowering in one of the corners. All of a sudden, the green beamed down onto the skeleton that Scooby had seen. "Wwwhat's going on?!" Shaggy quivered, squeezing Scooby tightly.
"Ri ront know!" The skeleton hand started to tremble as the green mist continued to surround it. Shaggy and Scooby did the only thing they could: watch on in horror as the skeleton hand moved and wiggled. Without warning, thin flesh grew onto it, it began to crawl out of the dirt it was mounted inside. That was when a whole pirate looking zombie wriggled it's way out of the gap and stretched as it stood before the pair. "ZOINKS!" Shaggy screamed as Scooby jumped into his arms. The zombie groaned and shook a hand in front of them, looking as though it wanted to tell them something. "Let's get out of here!" Shaggy yelled, the pair of them suddenly gaining the strength to climb up the wall without the struggle they had previously.

Both of them were scaling the walls until they reached the top, closely followed by the zombie, who by this point was holding a sword. The guys ran as fast as they could when they emerged, not realising they were about to run into Beau.
"What are you doing? Ruining my flower beds again?" Beau angrily shouted after being knocked over yet again by Scooby.
"Like, are we glad to see you! We were being chased by- by a dead guy!"
"Reah a red guy!" Beau looked in the direction that Shaggy and Scooby had come from but couldn't see anything.
"What's going on? We could hear the screaming all the way from the house!" Daphne asked, as she, Fred and Velma approached.
"Guys it was horrible! There was a pirate Moonscar zombie chasing Scoob and me!"
"Are you sure you saw a zombie?" Fred asked, being the sceptic that he was earlier.
"We know a zombie when we see one! He transformed from bones to a zombie right in front of us, right Scoob?"
"Rep, right rin front of rus! Ren he chased rus!"
"And what were you doing out here?" Velma asked suspiciously, aiming her question at Beau.
"I was doing my job, you know, planting." He replied sarcastically.

After the guys had calmed down, the gang decided to make their way back to the mansion. They were going over all of the encounters they had so far. "That gardener is really suspicious." Velma commented, to which everyone except Daphne nodded in agreement.
"But he is kinda cute." This made Fred scowl, how could she think that?
"Cute? That guy? No way right Velms?" He asked, making Velma raise an eyebrow.
"Um, no? He's not my type."
"Besides Daph, we're here on business remember?" Fred reminded, using the words that Daphne said to him about Lena.
"Anyway- maybe we should head back to the house." Velma suggested, breaking the tension she noticed between Fred and Daphne.
"Like for once I agree with your plan." Shaggy said, relieved.

The gang arrived back at the mansion to find Simone and Lena stood on the porch, welcoming them back. "Maybe we should get going back to the dock, we could come back tomorrow." Velma said, glancing over at where the mystery machine was parked.
"Get going? No way! This place gets more interesting by the minute." Daphne defended, not wanting to risk missing anything for her show.
"But it is getting close to sunset and the ferry doesn't run at night." Lena added, looking to Simone suggestively.
"We have plenty of rooms, you could stay for the night."
Daphne grew wide-eyed, her smile returning. "Really?"
"I couldn't let you leave without offering some of our famous southern hospitality. That is, if Lena doesn't mind cooking for some extra guests."
"Sure thing, Ms. Lenoir. I'll start dinner right away!" Shaggy and Scooby looked at each other at the mention of food again.
"Rets stay!" Scooby exclaimed.

"And this is your room Fred. You'll have a beautiful view of the harvest moon tonight. I hope you'll be comfortable here." Lena said, Daphne detected a hint of seduction in her voice to her annoyance. "Wow, I'm sure I will. Thanks Lena." Lena smiled and turned to leave the room to show Daphne hers, which was across from Fred's.
"Here's your room Ms. Blake." She said, in a less enthusiastic tone than she had with Fred.
"Thanks Ms-" Daphne began but stopped when she realised the dark-haired woman was no longer stood there. Daphne put her bags down beside the dressing table and was about to change for dinner, when she was interrupted by a knock at the door. As it was open, following the knock Fred just walked straight in.
"Fred! I could've been changing." Daphne scolded, putting her clothes back down on the bed that she was going to wear that evening.
"Well then, maybe it would be a good idea to shut the door. I mean it could've been anyone knocking on the door- you know like Beau." Was that jealously she could detect in his voice? No surely not, she thought.
"I'll bare that in mind." She responded. Fred walked further into the room after closing the door.
"Is everything ok Daph? You've been acting weird all day." Daphne thought for a moment about how she'd been acting. Maybe she had been a little snappy with everyone, especially considering they had chosen to support her on her quest to find a real monster. "I guess I'm just set on getting some good footage for the show. It's all I can think about and you and Velma don't seem to be taking it seriously." Daphne took a seat on the end of the bed, closely followed by Fred doing the same.
"I'm sorry Daph. I guess it's just hard to believe when we're so used to it being guys in masks. We'll just have to wait and see what happens, but either way you'll have something good to show." Daphne smiled at his attempt to cheer her up. She knew sometimes she was a little too harsh on Fred since they started the show, and especially on this trip so far. "Thanks Freddie." To her surprise, he pulled her into a hug and slowly rubbed her back with one of his hands. For the third time that day, they became interrupted by screaming coming from Shaggy and Scooby.
