"Clay what do you see in her? I don't understand. She is a killer and is not someone to be trusted. I just don't want you to get hurt."

"Tsunami, I get your concern." He sighed. He then looked at his mate while she slept. "If it weren't for her we all would be dead. Me especially, I can't repay her enough."

"Clay I don't trust her. I can't not after the things she has done. She is a Mons-" He cut her off "Don't you dare finish that sentence Tsunami. I have been passive on your feelings because you are like a sister."He looked up at her which caused her to shiver. If looks could kill she would be dead. "However if you hurt Peril. You will not like what happens." He growled. Tsunami started to get a little pale, she had never heard him growl like that before.

She then gained her compsure. "Fine, but don't say I didn't warn you." She stormed off running into Glory who then shook her head. Tsunami scuffed and flew off.

"Are you going to say something too?" He looked angrily.

"No, its not my place. I may have feelings about it but its your decision. I want you to know I want you happy and if you need anything me and Sunny are here.

"Thank you Glory." She nodded and was about to leave until He said something.

"Although I think its a little excessive with you having Deathbringer watching her." He said to her surprise.

"I don't know what your talking about. But if I did, it would just help me feel easier." She then walked out of his room. Glory looked back with Deathbringer next to her.

"He is sharp, I don't think I even hinted I was around." Deathbringer said in confusion.

"He always catches on to things when it comes to things he cares about. Its just with her, his senses are more keen. Just still watch her when you can ok."

"Always my dear." He nuzzled her cheek.

Back with Clay, he continued to observe his mate. Watching her breath in a deep sleep her nuzzled her cheek and whispered in her ear. "I won't let anyone hurt you Peril. I promise." With that, his exhaustion took over and he rested his head in her neck and fell in a deep sleep.
