Apart from Luan, the Loud siblings were all in the living room, waiting for Rick to get ready. Lynn Sr. and Rita had gone out for the weekend though before they left, they had asked Rick to take the siblings out for ice cream. Lily, who had started to wear a white T-shirt and lavender shorts upon turning two years old, was super excited about trying ice cream for the first time and had spent all day making sure nothing could potentially cancel the trip. She was currently sat next to Lana and Lola, who were both fighting over the TV remote. "I wanna watch my pageant show!" Lola shouted.
"I wanna watch my penguin show!" Lana shouted back.
Lily gasped as she imagined how Rick might react to this.
...
In Lily's mind, everything was more colourful and her family almost looked like cartoon characters, albeit roughly drawn ones. As Lana and Lola kept fighting over the remote, Rick came in, waving his arms around. "WABBA LABBA GABBA! NO MORE ICE CREAM!!!"
...
Not wanting this to come true, Lily snatched the remote from the twins as they were fighting and changed the channel. "And now, back to Penguin Pageants!" The announcer on the TV said as a show with penguins participating in pageants was on.
"Huh?" Lana and Lola paused before paying attention to the show.
Luan then came downstairs, heading towards the front door. She wouldn't be coming with the rest of the siblings as she had a date scheduled with Benny. "I'm heading out." Luan announced.
"Luan, wait." Lori said, making Luan pause. "If you want, we could give you a lift on the way."
Luan shook her head. "It's okay. I don't mind walking." She then opened the door.
"Wait." Luan paused again. "Are you sure this is what you want? It's been almost a year. Are you sure things could really work out between you two at this point?"
Luan sighed. "I know this isn't exactly conventional but...I just need to know what I was missing, you know?" Seeing that no one else had anything else to say, Luan left.
Lori sighed. "I'm not sure Luan's making the right choice here."
"It's her choice, brah." Luna argued. "Besides, it's what would have happened if 'you know what' didn't happen."
"Sigh." Lucy shook her head.
"Hey, if she wants to date the most boring white boy in Royal Woods, who are we to judge?" Rick said as he came into the living room. "Alright, who's ready to go get some ice cream or whatever?" The siblings cheered at this before making their way outside.
Before Lily could get up, she noticed a commercial for the ice cream parlour they were headed to. "Come beat the heat at Auntie Pam's Parlor, but make sure you get there by five..." Lily pumped her fist before her eyes widened at that last part. "...we're closing early to give our scoopers a break. Don't forget, five PM! One more time; five PM! FIVE PM!"
Lily then looked over at a nearby digital clock to see that it was half past four already. Lily then pointed at the clock and started babbling frantically, trying to get Rick's attention before he picked her up. "Yeah, yeah, don't worry, Lily, we're not gonna be late." Rick assured her before turning off the TV and heading outside.
Since Rick didn't want to waste portal fluid and squeezing into the cruiser would be uncomfortable, everyone got into the family van. After getting in, Rick tried to start it up, only for it to stall. "Christ, this thing's a piece of shit. Hey Lana, what do you say we work on this piece of crap at some point?"
Lana grinned. "Totally!"
...
"Ice eam! Ice eam!" Lily babbled to herself excitedly as the van was getting close to its destination.
Lincoln smiled. "Are you excited to try ice cream for the first time?"
"Of course she is. After all, she's spent all day making sure nothing could potentially cancel it." Rick remarked.
Lori raised an eyebrow at Rick. "She has?"
"What, you haven't noticed? Yeah, it's pretty impressive considering she's never even tried ice cream before."
"Aww, she's so smart!" Leni gushed.
At that moment, Rick finally arrived at Auntie Pam's Parlour as he parked the van. He then reached into his pockets, only for his eyes to widen. "Ah, crap."
Lori gave Rick an annoyed look. "Please don't tell me you forgot your wallet."
Lily growled in annoyance as he eye twitched. She then reached under the seats before holding up a twenty dollar note. "Oh hey, Lily saves the day again." Rick said as he took the money from her. "Good thing too since I left my portal gun at home. Yeah, I'm surprised you guys never noticed this from Lily before."
"In our defence, the last baby in the house was drawing calculus on the wall." Lori argued.
...
"Alright, here's your sundae." Rick said as he sat Lily down onto a bench and handed her a sundae. She stared down at it in amazement.
"You ready, Lily?" Lori asked as she got out her phone. "Ok, guys, I'm recording."
"Go, Lily!" All of the siblings cheered.
Lily then picked up some ice cream with her spoon. However, before she could put it in her mouth, she heard something make a honking sound. Suddenly, a goose charged towards her, knocking the sundae and her spoon out of her hands, which caused them to fall onto the floor. Lily stared at the sundae, devastated before she started sobbing.
"Hey, get lost you jerk!" Lynn bellowed as she shoved the goose away, causing it to run off.
Everyone gave Lily a sympathetic look, including Rick. "Aw geez, hey don't cry Lily, I'll just..." He glanced towards the ice cream parlour, noticing that it was now closed. "Crap." He then went over to pick Lily up, patting her on the back. "Hey, it's no big deal. We can have ice cream at home. How does that sound?" This didn't seem to make Lily feel much better as she kept crying, causing Rick to wince.
"Honk!"
Suddenly, the goose then came back as it looked at it was about to charge at Rick. Rick scowled at the goose as he got out his laser gun. "Hey, fuck off!" He fired a couple shots at the goose. The goose was barely able to dodge them before running off. "The hell was that thing's problem?"
...
On the ride back home, Lily still had tears in her eyes as she looked downcast. The rest of the siblings were trying to comfort their baby sister. "Cheer up, Lily." Lana pleaded though Lily couldn't help but still feel upset. "Aw, Lily..."
"I've never seen Lily look so sad." Leni remarked.
Meanwhile as the siblings were comforting Lily, Lori, who was sat up front with Rick, noticed something strange in the rearview window. It almost looked like the goose from before was sat on the car behind them, staring them down. "What the...?"
"Something wrong, Lori?" Rick asked.
Lori glanced towards Rick before looking into the mirror again. The goose didn't appear to be there now. She shook her head. "It's nothing."
...
Luan arrived at the park and looked around for a moment before she soon spotted Benny, who had also spotted her. He was currently holding a bouquet of flowers along with his puppet, Mrs. Appleblossom. She smiled and gave Benny a slight wave. "Hey, Benny."
Benny ran up to her. "Hi Luan, these are for you." He handed her the bouquet of flowers. "They're from our garden."
"Wow, daisies." She smelled them. "They smell so fresh."
Benny then spoke through Mrs. Appleblossom. "Does Mr. Coconuts happen to be around?"
Luan chuckled awkwardly. "I kinda lost him in a detoxifying container."
Benny gave Luan a confused look. "Oh...er...sorry to hear that."
Luan waved her hand dismissively. "Eh, it's no big deal. Ventriloquism isn't really my thing anymore anyway."
Mrs. Appleblossom sighed. "Oh, what could have been."
Luan let out a somewhat forced chuckle. Which was kind of weird. Didn't she used to find Benny's puppet act funnier than this? She pushed those thoughts aside as Benny started speaking again. "So, Luan, you ready for a fun day?"
A sheepish smile appeared on her face. "Heh, always am." As they began to take a walk through the park, Luan decided to ask about something that had been on her mind. "So...what made you change your mind?"
Benny sighed. "The other day, I kept seeing people confess their love for each other. It started to make me think about you. I'm sorry again for what I said last year. I was just so insecure. I thought I'd end up messing up our relationship." He started look downcast. "Though I guess I ended up doing that anyway, huh?"
Luan frowned. Since Benny had rejected her, things had been somewhat awkward between them. Before this had happened, they were at a point where they barely ever talked to each other any more. Though despite this, she could definitely empathise with feeling insecure about starting relationships. "I understand." She simply said. For a brief moment, Luan started to think about Maggie before pushing those thoughts out of her head.
...
Rick and the Loud siblings arrived home and got out of the van with Lori picking up Lily out of the van. "Well, that was a waste of time and gas." Rick remarked. He then noticed Lily was still looking downcast. "Hey, cheer up, Lily. I'm gonna make my own sundae for you."
"HONK!" Suddenly, the same goose from before swooped down onto Rick's head, pecking at his hair.
"Gah! What the fuck!" Rick cursed before trying to get the goose off of him, stumbling into the garage in the process. "Get the fuck off me!" He managed to push the goose off of him, throwing it towards a shelf before it fell to the floor. The impact caused a beaker full of green liquid to spill over onto the goose.
The siblings all ran up to him, concerned. "Are you okay?" Lori asked.
"I'm fine. Just..." He paused as he and the siblings noticed that the goose had grown a second head. It hissed at them, baring some razor sharp teeth. Rick then quickly got out his laser gun, only for the mutated goose to quickly bite into it with its teeth and throw it to the side. Rick and the goose stared each other down for a moment. "...shit. Kids, run!"
The siblings all screamed as they and Rick all ran into the house as the goose chased after them. They ran into the kitchen and quickly shut the door, blocking the way from the dining room. "What is that goose's problem?!" A flabbergasted Lola asked.
"Who knows, but I am not taking this shit from some fucking goose!" An infuriated Rick stated before pressing a button on the fridge which opened up a secret compartment full of laser guns. He picked one up and opened up the door to the living room, only for the goose to immediately fly into his face. "Ah! Motherfuck!" This then caused him to drop the laser gun. The goose then swooped down and picked up the gun before flying into the kitchen and onto the the counter where it tried to position it to aim it at Rick. Rick stared at the goose wide eyed. "Uh..." The goose then used its feet to fire at Rick, just barely missing him. "Shit!" Rick and the siblings then ran out of the kitchen before Rick pressed a hidden button on the wall, causing metal doors to come down and block the way into the kitchen. "Ok. It's trapped in there. We should be good now."
Lori gave Rick a critical look. "Are you seriously having this much trouble with a goose?"
Rick glared at Lori. "Oh, I'm sorry, do you have any bright ideas? I could always nuke the house if you'd prefer that?"
Lori frowned for a moment before turning to Lana. "Do you have any ideas, Lana?"
Lana shook her head. "I've never dealt with anything like this before."
Lincoln then had an idea. "Oh! We should call Sid. She's great with animals. She'll know what to do." He then got out his phone to make the call.
...
Benny had set up a picnic blanket with various food he had brought with him. Luan took a seat on the blanket. "Wow Benny, this picnic is so nice."
"Care for a macaron?" Benny asked, offering a plate to her. "My mom and I made them last night."
"Yes please." Luan said before taking one and taking a bite. "Mmm."
Benny smiled, happy that Luan seemed to like them. "Hope you're not too pic-nic-ky about what we're eating!" He joked before laughing.
Luan then let out another forced laugh. Though this time, Benny seemed to have noticed as he gave her an odd look. "Uh, what's wrong?"
"Nothing, it's just...I've noticed you haven't been saying any puns today."
"Oh. Well..." Luan chuckled. "I'm just not really into puns any more."
Benny looked disappointed to hear that. "Oh. It's just that I always loved hearing your puns."
Luan smiled. "Thanks. But thinking about it, I don't think I was really gonna get anywhere with that style of comedy. It's not like you can be a professional comedian by just telling puns. Besides, I think I've also just grown out of them."
Benny looked somewhat offended to hear this. "Wait, you think puns are childish?"
Luan then frantically waved her hands. "Oh, no no, that's not what I mean at all. It's just...something I've moved on from." While Luan didn't like to judge people and she would never say this out loud, she couldn't help but think that Benny's humour was, in retrospect, a little bit childish. Not that she could talk anyway considering she used to have the exact same sense of humour as him. She started to think about how things used to be between them. Back when she and Benny had so much in common. In fact, they almost had everything in common, even down to having their own puppets. Thinking about it, it was almost as if Benny was literally created to be the perfect match for her. Or at least the old her. So much has changed over the past year. Though, thinking about it, she couldn't help but wonder if dating a literal copy of herself would have really been that interesting. Wouldn't she might as well be dating her own reflection at that point?
"Well, you still watch The Real Mimes of Miami, right?" Benny asked, snapping Luan out of her trance.
"Huh? Oh, yeah! I watch it all the time with Maggie." She said, smiling.
Benny raised an eyebrow at Luan. "Who's Maggie?"
Luan's eyes widened. "Oh she's...a friend of mine." She couldn't help but feel bad about calling Maggie that. She recalled her conversation with Luna the other day. True, she and Maggie had grown rather close but she was still unsure about how she really felt about her. Well, that or a part of her was scared to take it to the next level in case it'd ruin their relationship. Like what happened with Benny. But her and Benny were what was supposed to happen, right? Luan started to wonder if coming here was a mistake as her mind was plagued by thoughts about Maggie.
...
A still downcast Lily was in the dining room, pointing towards the kitchen. "Eh, eh!" She babbled.
The rest of the siblings were still trying to comfort Lily. "I'm sorry, Lily, but we can't make any ice cream until we've dealt with this goose problem." Lori explained. This didn't make Lily feel any better.
Everyone then heard someone knocking on the door. "That'll be her!" Lincoln explained before quickly getting up to answer it. "Hey, Sid!"
"Hey, Lincoln." Sid greeted. "So, you said that an angry goose followed you home and invaded your house, right?"
"That, plus it accidentally got mutated and grew a second head and some sharp teeth so we had to trap it in our kitchen. Think you can handle it?"
Sid was silent for a moment before scoffing. "Pfft, how hard could it be?" She then made her way inside and entered the dining room. "Sometimes, all you gotta do is just talk things out. Maybe it had a good reason for doing this." She then approached the metal door sealing off the kitchen. She cleared her throat before making some honking sounds. "Honk! Hoooooonk!" She made some strange facial expressions as she did this.
"Honk! HONK!" The goose replied.
"Honk?"
"HONK! HONK! HONK!"
A disturbed expression appeared on Sid's face. "What did it say?" Lincoln asked.
"Um...I think it said something along the lines of 'The only thing I desire is pain and suffering!'" Sid replied, putting on a menacing voice to imitate the goose.
Lynn then let out an exasperated groan. "Ugh! This is stupid! Just let me in there! I could handle it myself."
Rick raised an eyebrow at Lynn. "Uh, no offence, Lynn, but if I'm struggling with this goose, I somehow doubt there's much you could do."
Lynn growled in annoyance. "Oh yeah? Then watch me!" She then slammed the button on the wall keeping the goose sealed in the kitchen, causing the metal doors to open up. She then charged towards the goose, catching it off guard before tackling it. The two then began rolling around, tussling on the floor. Despite the goose's quickness and sharp teeth, Lynn managed to still be a match for it as they rolled out of the kitchen into the dining room while everyone else just watched, unsure what to do now.
Sid gave the two a concerned look. "Um, I think this might count as animal cruelty."
"Oh, I think we're way past the point of caring about that." Rick remarked.
Lynn and the goose started fighting all around the house before eventually rolling into the garage. Rick looked annoyed upon noticing this. "God damn it, why does shit like this always end up in the garage?" Rick was about to enter before he heard an explosion from the garage, followed by Lynn flying back into the house. "What the hell did you do now?" Rick asked Lynn.
As the smoke faded away, everyone's eyes widened at the sight of the goose. It no longer had two heads but was somehow now wearing a red hakama over a white hakamashita. For some bizarre reason, the goose's appearance made Lincoln think of soy sauce. It then did a 'come here' gesture with one of its wings. "Come on." It said in a deep voice.
Lynn growled before getting up and charging towards the goose. She threw a fist at the goose, only for it to catch it with its wings. "PREDICTABO!" The goose bellowed before throwing Lynn out of the garage, tumbling onto the sidewalk.
"Lynn!" All of the siblings cried out before they and Sid all went outside to check on her.
As everyone left, Rick noticed the goose was staring him down. "I'll stain my wings...with your blood."
Rick glared at the goose. "What? You think turning into an obscure fighting game reference is gonna intimidate me? Well, come at me then, motherfucker!" He then pointed his arm towards the goose which then, due to his cybernetic implants, transformed into a laser gun. He fired at the goose, who somehow managed to simply block the attacks. "What the fuck!" Rick exclaimed as his arm went back to normal.
"Reppuken!" The goose then created a slashing blade of wind on the ground that went towards Rick.
"Oh shit!" Rick cursed before jumping out of the way. Before he had time to react, the goose had dashed towards him before grabbing and throwing him towards the ground. "Ugh!" The goose then picked him up again before throwing him out of the front door.
"You're not worth my disgust." The goose said before slamming the door shut.
The siblings all ran over to Rick, who was lying on the floor. "Are you okay?" Leni asked.
Rick groaned as he sat up. "Well, it's official. That goose is my second greatest nemesis."
Lori raised an eyebrow at Rick. "Who's your first?"
"I don't wanna talk about him."
...
Benny had challenged Luan to a game of chess. She was surprisingly good at it as she dominated him at the game. "Wow! I didn't know you were this good at chess!" Benny complimented.
Luan herself was surprised at how well she did, considering she barely ever played chess. "Huh. What do you know?"
"And here I was thinking you were a rook-ie!" He joked as he picked up a rook piece.
Luan couldn't even bring herself to make a fake laugh at that point. The more time she spent with Benny, the more she was reminded of the person she used to be. Was this all she was missing this whole time? Was this what made Luan shut herself off from everyone for more than a month? A thought then occurred to her. "Benny, I was wondering, is there anything you like that isn't related to comedy?"
"Huh?" The question had caught him off guard. "Well...I like watching mecha anime sometimes."
Luan perked up, happy to talk about something different. "Really? What shows do you watch?"
Benny suddenly looked embarrassed. "Ehh, I don't think you'd really be interested in them?"
Luan gave Benny a confused look. Was he embarrassed to tell her about it? Was he scared that she'd judge him for it after what happened earlier? Luan let out a disappointed sigh. He really was the kind of person she used to be. Which was exactly why he wasn't what she needed right now. She stood up. "Benny, I'm sorry but I don't think this is going to work out."
Benny's eyes widened. "Huh?"
"A lot's happened since that day you rejected me. I've changed a lot. I don't think we're really compatible any more. It's too late for that."
Benny stared at Luan, devastated, before he sighed. "I understand." He then slammed a fist onto the table in frustration. "Ugh! I'm such an idiot!"
Luan gave Benny an apologetic look. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have agreed to this in the first place. I only did it because..." Luan wasn't sure how to say this. "A part of me thought that I was owed this...but that's not how relationships work." What was it that Lucy once told her? No one exists just for us? She wished she remembered that before agreeing to this date.
"Yeah. This was a mistake." Benny said before he stood up.
"I'm sorry. But if it's okay, I'd still like to be friends."
Benny had a bitter look on his face. "It's like you said. I think it's too late for that." He then walked away.
After Benny left, Luan then exhaled. While she hated hurting Benny like that, she still couldn't help but be relieved it was over. Now that she finally got some closure, she could finally put Benny behind her and move forward. Though it was a shame that this had ended so bitterly between them. Maybe in another universe, things could have worked out better between them. It just wasn't going to happen in this one. Suddenly, Luan's phone started ringing as she quickly answered it. "Hello? Oh hey Mags." Luan started to cheer up. "Yeah, I can hang out today. Where do you wanna meet up?"
...
Time in my neighborhood, looking...
Just looking out for some snacks
Then I knew I didn't recognize anything
And that's when I thought. Oh snap, oh snap...
Due to the goose kicking everyone out of the house, Rick and the Loud siblings were now at the Chang's apartment. While the siblings were still trying to comfort Lily, apart from Lana, Rick was sat on the couch with Sid, who was watching a Twelve is Midnight music video on TV. Rick groaned. "This sucks."
Lana was playing with Adelaide along with some zoo animals that Adelaide's mom had taken home with her. "Man, I can't believe your mom lets you play with all these zoo animals!" Lana remarked.
Adelaide giggled. "They're so much fun!"
Lana sighed. "I wish I could play with my pets anywhere I wanted like this."
"Yeah, it's uh...it's a miracle this place isn't completely covered in shit." Rick snarked.
Sid and Adelaide's father, Stanley, then entered the room. "Oh hey, you're Rick Sanchez, right?"
"I'm not interested in trains." Rick quickly said.
"Well, ok then." Stanley said before going back into the other room.
Breakfast Bot then came over to Rick, holding a plate of pancakes. "Would you like some pancakes?"
Rick raised an eyebrow at the robot before turning to Sid. "Hey uh, any chance you could turn this thing into a death machine too so we have something to use against that goose? I'm kinda strapped for ideas here."
Sid gave Rick a disturbed look. "You're kidding right?"
Rick groaned. "Could we at least watch something that isn't K-pop?"
"Is your grandpa always this whiny?" Adelaide snarked, causing some of the siblings to snicker and Rick to grumble to himself.
A moment later, Rick noticed that Lynn had approached him. "What?"
Lynn looked uncharacteristically sheepish. "Look, I've been thinking lately and I've changed my mind about how I feel about adventures. I wanna go on one again. I promise nothing will go wrong this time."
Rick raised an eyebrow at her. "Is this because you're bored because your friends don't wanna hang out with you anymore?"
Lynn's eye twitched for a moment. "N-No, I just wanna give adventures another chance again. Maybe I could go on one with you and Lincoln some time?"
"Fat chance." Rick curtly replied. Lynn huffed in response before storming off.
Adelaide approached Lily and the other siblings. "What's wrong with Lily?"
Lori sighed. "We were supposed to go out for ice cream today so Lily could try it for the first time. Unfortunately, that goose literally ruined it."
"I could ask my mom if she'd let Lily have some of our ice cream." Adelaide offered.
All of the siblings, especially Lily, brightened up at this. "That would be great! We-"
Lori was interrupted by someone knocking on the door. A deep voice came from outside. "You cannot escape from death!"
"Oh, you've gotta be fucking shitting me!" Rick exclaimed in frustration.
"When will this goose cease to haunt us?" Lucy asked.
"Wait, is it dead?" Leni asked.
"It should be." Lucy replied.
"Ooh! I have an idea!" Sid suddenly announced. "What if we played some K-pop? I know no one can resist Twelve is Midnight!"
Rick gave her a deadpan stare.
...
Follow us
Short, medium and tall with us
Sid played the Twelve is Midnight song on her phone next to the door with Rick stood next to her. "Is it working?" Rick asked. The goose then started honking again. "Ok, so it's reverted back to honking. Any idea what it's saying?"
Sid frowned. "I think it said 'meet me on the roof so we can end this'!" The goose started honking again, causing an offended look to appear on Sid's face. "Ok, I am not repeating that part."
Rick shrugged. "Well, nothing for it but to settle things on the roof then."
"Are you sure you wanna do this?" Luna asked.
Rick sighed. "Look, at the end of the day, it's just a fucking goose. If I can't handle this, I don't think I'll be able to look at myself in the mirror."
...
Just as the sun had set, shrouding Royal Woods in darkness, Rick arrived at the roof of the apartment building. "I've been waiting for you!" The goose exclaimed upon noticing Rick.
"Yeah, I noticed." Rick replied. "Ok, what the fuck do you want from me? Do you want to kill me or something? What are you getting out of this?"
"I want you to die. Forever!"
"What even are you? A monster? A demon? A manifestation of lifelong guilt?"
"I am immortal!"
"Fuck you!" Rick spat before using his cybernetic augmentations to fire lasers at the goose again.
Once again, the goose blocked the lasers before jumping up into the air. "Shippūken!" It then created an orb of wind energy that flew towards Rick.
Rick typed something into his watch that then created a forcefield around him, protecting him from the attack. "Yeah, what now motherfucker?"
The goose landed in front of Rick. "Ja'ei Ken!" It then lunged forward and with sheer power, punched through the shield before punching Rick in the gut, causing him to hunch over in pain. While Rick was still reeling from the attack, the goose then channeled its energy before slamming its wings onto the roof. "RAGING STORM!" The goose shouted as he created channels of strong wind gusts around him which sent Rick flying high up into the air before landing painfully back onto the roof. As Rick groaned in pain, the goose slowly stepped towards him. "Over so soon? Geez!"
Rick coughed up some blood. "Whatever you're gonna do, do it. I probably deserve it."
The goose was about to perform a finishing blow before suddenly, someone grabbed it by the neck, causing it to let out a loud honk. Rick lifted his head to see that Lily had grabbed it. She gave the goose an angry look before walking over to the edge of the roof. "Bah goo!" Lily babbled before simply throwing the goose off of the roof.
"Noooooooo!" The goose bellowed as it fell to its presumed demise.
Rick then got up and went over to pick up Lily. "Remind me to never get in the way of you and ice cream." Lily giggled in response.
...
Rick and Lily returned to the Chang's apartment where Becca Chang had prepared a sundae for her. Lily was currently sat at the table as Lori handed her the sundae. "Here you go, Lily. And this time, literally nothing can ruin this one."
Lily's eyes widened at the sundae in front of her while both the Louds and Changs watched in anticipation. They gasped as she lifted up a spoonful of the sundae and tasted it. It was everything she had hoped it would be as she started giggling happily.
Rick smiled. "Well, it looks like we all learned an important lesson today."
"And what is that?" Lincoln asked.
Rick frowned. "It's that geese fucking suck."
