This is just the author's note.

So I'm skipping typing all the events into the story. In my version all of Atem's events stay the same. Kamilah however has a different set of circumstances. Bandit King Bakura joins forces with Gahiji in order to take down the Royal couple. Bandit King Bakura goes after Atem and happens the way it does in the anime/manga. Gahiji goes after Kamilah. He kills his own brother to get her. She tries her best to fight him off, using all her different elemental spells. Finally she collapses, but does not pass out. She has no strength to stand, so she uses her most powerful spell, the Siren Spell.

"I call on the voice of the sirens to command. 'Drop Dead for the lives you have taken this night." Gahiji is dead and she lies down on the floor of her and Atem's room and the spell takes over herself as well. Before the spell takes full effect, she asks for one favor-

"Please Ra. Allow me to be reincarnated with Atem." And she's gone. Atem finds her a few hours later in between his battles, does a burial ritual, and walks away with her cherry blossom hairpin- and her soul- in his hand. He finishes the rest of the battles and seals his, Zorc's, and-unknowingly-Kamilah's souls into the Millenium Pendant. This is where we continue the story. After the Ceremonial battle, Atem has all his memories and a physical body. He is returned to the land of the living, but in Earthland where Kamilah has been reincarnated and Zorc was banished after his defeat against Atem and company. Atem, along with his Duel Monsters, must find and protect Kamilah's reincarnation, restore her memories of the ancient past and defeat Zorc once and for all.
