Everybody looked at me in fear.

"Shadow Magic? Like Master Jose?" Mira looked like she was about to attack out of fear.

"I don't know this Jose, but my magic is different and dangerous. I have a set of Ka that fight on my behalf when I call them, but should one of them lose their life, my Ba is affected. And this continues until I am taken into the shadows myself, permanently." Everyone's expression changed from fear to sympathy. I shook my head. "No one has fought me to the point, as you can tell. Now, let's figure out a plan to find Lili."

"Last place Natsu could smell Lili was at the train station, but he lost her scent on the train. We don't know where they got off at. It would take weeks to check all the stations throughout Fiore."

"Is there some place special to Gajeel? Even though his past life is in control, the memories are still there."

"There is one. The place where I found him after Phantom Lord was disbanded- a metal junk yard outside of Clovertown, about ten miles."

"Then let's go get Lili back!"

"Wait! I can't under good conscience let a civilian go out on a rescue mission, so Atem, would you consider joining Fairy Tail?" I nodded. "Good, go with Mira to get your stamp and prepare to leave."

"One problem. I just arrived and I haven't any way to pay for a ticket."

"I'll cover you. You are helping get my sister back, so it's the least I could do." Lucy spoke up.

"Thank you, Lucy. Well, Mira, shall we go get my stamp?" Mira nodded and as we were walking out, Makarov stopped us.

"Mira, go with them. If we are dealing with something as dangerous as Shadow Magic, then your skills may be beneficial. Lisanna and Kinana can handle the bar while you're gone."

"Yes, sir."All of us walked down the stairs and to the bar where Mira grabbed the stamp. "Alright, where do you want it and what color?"

"Let's do deep purple with gold trim on my right eye." Mira gave me the stamp after a quizzical look. We gather our things to leave and head to the train station. Lucy bought my and her tickets, Natsu bought his and Mira bought hers. We boarded the train and headed to Clovertown. Once we got off the train, we headed out for the scrap yard Makorov told us about. We arrived late that afternoon, and found nothing. Natsu was smelling everything. I looked at the girls and their faces told me this was normal, so I didn't say anything.

"So, Atem? Could you show us your magic?"

"I don't see why not." I pulled out my duel deck and searched for my most loyal card. "Dark Magician, I summon thee!" With a puff of purple smoke, Dark Magician was standing beside me."My Shadow Magic allows me to summon monsters. They are loyal and powerful. This is Dark Magician. He used to be my Guardian Magician Mahad, but during a battle long ago, he performed a bonding spell that allowed him to use the Ba of one of his strongest monsters, the Illusion Magician. He died in that battle and was permanently bonded, becoming known as the Dark Magician."

"Such a sad story." Lucy said, looking at Dark Magician.

"It is a sacrifice I would gladly make again, my lady," Dark Magician replied.

"Lu, the scent is faint, but they were here at some point." Natsu just noticed Dark Magician and went into defense mode, ready to attack.

"Natsu, it's okay. Atem was showing us his Shadow Magic. He summons monsters. This is Dark Magician." Lucy put her hand on Natsu's shoulder, he relaxed and stood back up.

"Sorry. Since Lili was taken, I have become a bit more protective of Lucy."

"Yeah. At first we thought it was because Gajeel needed money so someone paid him to kidnap Lili, but Levy said he had been doing three jobs at a time if they were in the same area or town and Mira verified this."

"But why would someone want to kidnap Liliana?" I wondered out loud. Mira spoke up.

"When Gajeel took her, he said something about her not getting the best of him a second time and called her a 'whore.'"

"In our past life- if Liliana is who I think she might be- her first betrothed, Gahiji, would treat her like all she was meant to do was stay at home, be submissive and have his children. Every chance he got, he would make sure she knew where she stood in his mind. My father was friends with her father, who taught us both battle strategy, and was confided in about one such incident that made it possible for him to break the betrothal. After that, Father made them nobles so they could make an engagement between us so she would be treated as a person and a woman. We were married three weeks after the engagement was announced, and even though it was a short amount of time, I grew to care and love her. I buried my emotions after I found her- and Gahiji- dead in our chambers. I did her burial myself and then sacrificed myself in order to save my kingdom hours later. I performed a spell that locked my spirit and Zorc's in my pendant, which was then shattered. Due to the pendant be shattered, my mind was too and I lost my memories. With the help of some friends, I was able to regain my memories and move on. But, someone told me my queen had been reincarnated, was in Fairy Tail, and was in terrible trouble. The only way to survive what fate has planned is to wake up her memories from her past life and fight fate together."

"What does fate have planned for my sister?"

"I have a hunch that fate wants to keepus apart because our magics are two sides of the same coin. Back then, her magic was a form of light magic that gave her control of all elements and each form of the elements."

"What do you mean, 'all elements?'"

"Earth, air, water, fire, and spirit, and all she had to do was sing or command. Her mother had it and called it 'Siren Song.' It ran in her mother's family and only occurred once in a generation. Once the woman granted the magic passed, the next female born would also be granted the magic."

"Then how did she and her mother both have it at the same time?"

"That is the question. I don't know. Neither did her parents. Her mother sensed it as soon as she was born and knew they shared the same magic."

"Pharaoh, your energy is at half strength. If you don't mind, I shall return to the Shadow Realm."

"Of course. Thank you, old friend." With a puff of smoke, Dark Magician was gone, but my hair began standing on end. "I think we might have company." The four us get into fighting stances with our backs toward each other so we are not surprised. Then came the laughter than has been engrained in my head since our first meeting. A second voice joined in.

"Look what we have here, Gahiji. The pharaoh has found us!"

"But not that whore of a bride. Oops- I mean the little lady that was his queen. She is so fun in bed!" Gahiji laughed maniacally until a pillar of fire hit him in the face.

"You do not talk about her like that."

"And there's more where that came from. Open, Gate of the Archer, Sagittarius! Star Dress!" Lucy summoned a man in a horse costume and changed her outfit at the same time.

"Take Over: Satan Soul." Mira spoke in a low, emotionless voice and changed her whole appearance. 'Well, my turn.' I decide to summon a different magician.

"Magician of Black Chaos!" Out came one of my strongest monsters, clad in black learther with red bands at his wrists, upper arms, waist, thighs, and ankles. Zorc and Gahiji laughed again.

"Now we have a fight." And two monsters rose from behind them- Diabound and a new one I have never seen.
