A/N: So, rereading the last chapter I noticed I made a mistake when I said Yugi was Yami's descendant. In this story, Yami had a younger brother who ruled as Yami for another year after Yami sealed himself, Zorc, and Kamilah in the puzzle. That's when he became of age to officially be crowned as pharaoh. Yugi and Yami are related- Yami is Yugi's nephew, but the distance is so great that there is very little blood between them. So sorry for the confusion! Also, now that Kamilah is fully awake, when I write between her and Lili, it will be the same experiences, but I will just put one name okay?

Atem

Kamilah is awake. She is here right in front of me. In person. In flesh and blood. Her hairpin made it possible for her spirit to manifest fully. It means that a part of her spirit has been with me all this time. I will ask her about that night when we have some time alone. But first things first-

"We need Master." So we went to Master's office- Kamilah, Lucy, Mira, Natsu, and I- to get permission to find the three Bands of the Queen. We explained the situation and asked for permission to go find this Yukino that is now supposedly missing.

"If what you say is true, then we have to hurry." Makarov heaved a big sigh. "And I am sorry, but- for the safety of the guild- I must lock Lili -erm- Kamilah downstairs with the other two." A collective gasp went up throughout the office. I put a protective arm around Kamilah and pull her to my side.

"I will not allow that," I all but growled at the old man who is the master of the guild.

"I understand your feelings, Atem, but it is for the safety of the entire guild."

"I have been without my light for thousands of years and I am not letting her leave my side." Then I feel a gentle hand on my right shoulder. It is Kamilah.

"Master Makarov, I understand your concern, seeing as how I can be controlled with my own tools, but might I make a suggestion, based on Lili's memories?" Makarov nodded. "How about using magic blocking cuffs? I would return to the subconscious of Lili's mind with my Siren Song magic taken with me." She turned to look me in the eyes. She raised her hand from my shoulder in order to stop me from protesting. "Atem, it has to be this way. Even if I was locked downstairs, there's no guarantee that the bars could hold me. This way, Lili can write down the journey for me to read about after my full set is reunited."

"Very well, dear." I turn my head and give the master a nod, which he returned with his own. I turn my head and look at the rest. "I think we should have someone stay with Lili at all times. If whoever stole the queen's set catches wind that we put these cuffs on her to keep her power suppressed, they might come after her."

"I agree. I can't keep any of my spirits with her. Loke can use his own power to come here, but he does have to return periodically. Maybe she should move in with us for the time being." Lucy said.

"Or I could stay with her at her place." I wasn't really asking permission, but I could tell Lucy wasn't comfortable with the idea.

"Let's ask Lili. She sees what I see, hears what I hear, so she knows what is being discussed without her input and she is becoming upset." At that moment, Makarov placed the magic dampening cuffs on. My love and her reincarnation switched, me knowing it will probably be awhile before I will see her again.

"Lili, what do you want to do? Stay with us or let Atem stay with you?" Lucy asked, a bit of concern and worry in her voice. Lili looked at her family who has known her for years, then looked at me-a man she had just met. I was hopeful that she would choose me, but she walked to her family. I did feel a bit jealous, but I could understand. I just nodded and excused myself to see the prisoners. I made my way to the dungeons, but before I could descend the final flight of stairs, a small and delicate hand grabbed my arm. I looked at the face the hand belonged to.

"Lili, you should go back to your family." She shook her head.

"I want to stay with you."

"I am not going to expose you to what I must do now. You are too pure to see this darkness that resides inside me."

"Even so, I want to be at your side. We have to work together in order to protect our family." She had conviction, concern, and another emotion I have only ever seen in Kamilah's eyes. Well, Lili is Kamilah's reincarnation, so it would make sense for her eyes to be the same. I nodded and moved her hand to mine as we descended down the stairs to the dungeons.
