Casey sat on her bed in her room in a furry lil ball with her short fur bangs in her eyes after a rough first day of voicekindergarten but she hadn't told Rocket. "Are you okay, why're you sad." she heard a Japanese accented voice saying makijg her lift her head up astounded seeing a tenuki on her bed. "Whoa where did you come from." she asked softly.
"I'm an IF and you made me, but what's your name." he asked her. "Casey but do you have a name." the female-kit said.
She knew a lot of kids had IFs but surprised she'd made one that was a tenuki which made sense feelijg better about her crummy day scratching her furry chin in thought like Rocket hearijg her IF say she could name him plus she loved her bento-box getting inspiration. "How about Bento, as I love bento-boxes." she said.
"Yeah Bento I like that." he said hugging her making her smile hearing the door opening seeing Rocket with milk and cookies impressed his sis had an IF impressing Bento he could see and hear him. "My big hrother is special, so yeah." she told him.
Casey's eyes fluttered open on Monday morning getting up and dressed in her signature attire hearing Branchie begin to stir knowing today was basketball tryouts so she'd be there to cheer her on which Bento found sweet seeing Branchie wearing a Planet X themed shirt hearing Rocket come in. "Branchie's nervous about tryouts." she whispered making him get it.
"Branchie Groot, you've nothing to be nervous about trust me. You practice hard plus you're taller than most kids so tryouts should be a piece of cake, and Casey will be there to cheer you on, Bento too." Rocket reassured her as they were going downstairs but Rocket was making them coffee while they were having breakfast but were leaving the house wondering where Roxy and Rocket Senior were.
"They hadto meet the guidance counselor about you, Casey." he told her.
Branchie placed a barky hand gently on Casey's shoulder as they left the house arriving at Xavier's but heading to homeroom sitting at the back of the room unaware her parents were watching before leaving before Casey noticed sensing Rocket had told her they were meeting the guidance conselor hoping she wouldn't be mad or ask questions when she and Branchie got home plus the counselor had a lot to tell them.
Later it was Gym class and basketball tryouts making Casey hopeful for Branchie cheering her on making the coach impressed saying Branchie was on the team making her happy alomg with Casey knowing their parents would be happy about this when they got home putting her paws over her ears as the bell rang which Branchie got as it was lunch heading to the cafetaria only she saw Branchie being called over to the basketball team's table making Branchie unsure about this.
"Go ahead Branchie, I'll be okay." Casey told her
