Casey and Oreo were sitting on the floor of Branchie and Casey's room eating pizza that Rocket had ordered as todayhad been crazy with Casey's skateboarding team winning the skate championship to being reunited with Oreo seeing Branchie smile eating pizza with both teenaged kits hearing them giggling and talking which she and Rocket feltwas good for Casey knowing she didn't have many friends at school giving Rocket an idea since Oreo didn't have anywhere to call home, he was letting her stay with them so would talk to their parents when they returned home later.
"Really, Oreo can stay with us, do mom and dad know and said yes. You're the best big bro ever." Casey asked excited making Rocketchuckle. Of course he hadn't asked their parents yet but Casey looked so happy, he couldn't let her down.
"Yeah they know how important Oreo istoyou so yeah." he lied seeing Branchie give him a look which reminded him of Groot sighibg as they stepped out. "I am Groot, I am Groot." she said ti hin knowing Casey would be so mad at him, if she found out he was lying about letting Oreo stay with them making him roll his eyes at her.
"I know I lied but I'll talk to ohr folks okay. Casey's really happy and can't let herdown." he told her making the female-sapling relieved seeing Casey there. "Branchie youwant some more pizza." she asked seeing her nod joiningher and Oreo in their room hoping Rocket would be okay. "We should take the leftovers to Ms Stripes. The kits are gonna be so happy." Casey told Oreo making her agreeing seeing Casey in her Raccoon Girl armour making her blush seeing her fly into the night.
"I am Groot." Branchie pointed oht seeing her shake her head. "We're just pals Branchie." she said smiling to herself seeing Casey back a while later changing into pyjamas hoping her folks or Rocket hadn't noticed she'd left to do that errand seeing Oreo hug her making her feel good seeing she and Branchie were playibg video games smirking joining in making Rocket relieved checking on them as he'd thought he'd seen Raccoon Girl flying around shrugging.
"She's probabky tajing tonight off, she is a kit after all. She deserves to have fun." he muttered seeing their folks back telling them about Oreo hearing giggling from updtairs surprising them as Casey was normally doing Raccoon Girl stuff yet tonight she was home doing Groot knows what with an old pal which they found sweet. "Of course she can stay with us as she makes her happy." Roxy told him making Rocket smirk going to check on them seeing they'd made a fort which was sweet seeing they'd had a pillow fight which was majing Rocket chuckle as he saw Branchie, Casey and Oreo pop oht hitting him with pillows making Casey giggle hysterically to the point where she had to take deep-breaths relaxing seeing Roxy there making Oreo shy seeing her as she wasn't used to having a mom feeling Casey squeeze her paw gently to relax her getting ready for bed.
"It's okay Casey, I'll get used to her being around but I like it here." Oreo told her making her nodding.
"I am Groot, I am Groot." Branchie said making Casey nodding. "She says she doesn't have a mom either and she's okay about it." she translated for her. She decided to teach Oreo how to speak Groot so she could understand Branchie. They were then getting into the fort they'd made yawning falling asleep.
The next morning, Oreo was awake hearing Casey still asleep along with Branchie getting up without waking them up heading to the bathroom to pee and got dressed heading downstairs surprising Rocket. "Branchie and Casey are still sleeping and I didn't wanna wake them." she said yawning. "That's okay kiddo as Casey gets grumpy when she's women up early but we should make breakfast for everybody as that would help Branchie and Casey wake up." Rocket told her seeing her nod.
Oreo nodded as she was helping him making breakfast seeing Branchie and Casey up seeing Oreo hug Casey which made her smile despite being cranky because Papa Marshmallow had woken her up. "Daddy probably thought it was a school day." Rocket told her. "I guess bro. Oreo did you sleep okay." Casey said to them drinking coffee.
Plus Branchie was excited because of Di-Vine's concert on Planet X tonight making Casey facepalm realisibg Oreo couldn't go and the concert was sold out.
"It's okay Casey, it means we can get to know Oreo a bit better." Rocket Senior told her seeing Oreo nod. "It's cool Raccoon Girl toy cab tell me all aboht it, when you and Branchie get back." Oreo told her seeibg Casey nodding.
