It was a nice day in Ballonlea at the Galar region. Seventeen year old Habib Turner went downstairs after getting ready to leave. Today wasn't just a normal day for the seventeen year old. Today was the day that Habib starts his Pokémon journey. Normally a Pokémon trainer or a coordinators starts their journey at ten years old but nine years ago the Pokémon league all around the world put out a law that higher the age to become a Pokémon trainer or Coordinator. After he ate his breakfast he was about to leave to Wedgehurst to get his starter Pokémon until his mum stopped him.

Mum: Habib before you go to start your journey, Opal wanted to give you something.

Habib: Really mum?

Mum: Yes Habib, Opal wanted to give you something before you start your journey.

Habib: Okay mum I'll go to the gym to go see her.

Habib leaves his house and starts walking to the Ballonlea gym. Opal the Ballonlea gym leader is a family friend of the Tuner family. Opal has been best friends with Habib's grandmother ever since they started their Pokémon journey. Once he arrived at the gym he went inside and saw Opal standing inside the gym. Habib walked up to Opal.

Habib: Good morning Opal.

Opal: Good morning Habib, I see you got my message from your mother.

Habib: Yes I did get your message. My mum said that you wanted to give me something?

Opal: Yes I did.

Opal grabbed a Pokéball and gives it to Habib.

Opal: Inside the Pokéball is the grandchild of your grandmother's starter Pokémon.

Habib opened the Pokéball and a Galarian Ponyta appeared. The Galarian Ponyta looks at Habib and muzzles him.

Opal: Your grandmother wanted me to give your starter to you when you were ten before you started your journey but then the Pokémon League increased the age limit. Your grandmother would be proud of you at the trainer you will become.

Habib hugs Opal.

Habib: Thank you Opal.

Opal: Your welcome Habib and good luck.

Habib: Thanks Opal. Good bye.

Opal: Good bye Habib.

Habib and Ponyta leaves the gym and are about to leave Ballonlea until Habib's mum called out to him.

Mum: Habib wait!

Habib and Ponyta turned around and he saw his mum.

Habib: Is something wrong mum?

Mum: Here you go son.

Mum gave Habib a couple of Pokéballs and Potions.

Habib: Thanks mum.

Mum: Your welcome son.

Habib hugs his mum then leaves Ballonlea with his starter and starts walking to Glimwood Tangle. Once Habib and his Galarian Ponyta arrived to Glimwood Tangle they start walking to Stow-on-Side. While walking Habib sees a shiny Impidimp. He looks at his Galarian Ponyta.

Habib: Ponyta use Tackle on the shiny Impidimp.

Galarian Ponyta: neigh!

Galarian Ponyta used Tackle on the shiny Impidimp. Impidimp used Bite. Ponyta got hit and her health went from 21 to 7 HP.

Habib: Ponyta use Growl!

Galarian Ponyta: neigh!

Galarian Ponyta used Growl on the shiny Impidimp. Impidimp's attack went down. Impidimp used Bite.

Habib: Ponyta dodge it!

Galarian Ponyta dodged Impidimp's bite.

Habib: Ponyta use Tail Whip then use Tackle!

Galarian Ponyta: neigh!

Galarian Ponyta used Tail Whip on Impidimp. Impidimp's defense went down. Galarian Ponyta then used Tackle on Impidimp. Impidimp got hit and his health went from 21 to 15.

Habib: Ponyta use Tail Whip then use Tackle again!

Galarian Ponyta: neigh!

Galarian Ponyta used Tail Whip on Impidimp. Impidimp's defense went down. Galarian Ponyta then used Tackle on Impidimp. Impidimp got hit and his health went from 15 to 8. Habib grabbed a Pokéball and threw it at Impidimp. Impidimp went inside the Pokéball and shook three times then stopped. Habib went to grab the Pokéball.

Habib Yes I caught Impidimp!

Galarian Ponyta: neigh! neigh!

Habib: Impidimp come on out!

Impidimp: Impid! Imp!

Habib used two Potions on Ponyta and Impidimp.

Galarian Ponyta: neigh!

Impidimp: Impid!

He grabbed two Pokéballs and he returned Ponyta and Impidimp. Habib continues walking until he reached Stow-on-Side. Once he arrived to Stow-on-Side he started walking to route 6. While in route 6 Habib sees a wild Helioptile. Habib grabbed a Pokéball.

Habib: Ponyta come on out!

Galarian Ponyta: neigh!

Habib: Ponyta use Tackle!

Galarian Ponyta: neigh!

Ponyta used Tackle at Helioptile. Helioptile got hit and his health went from 73 to 69. It was a critical hit. Helioptie used Charge.

Habib: Ponyta use Tackle again!

Galarian Ponyta: neigh!

Ponyta used Tackle at Helioptile. Helioptile got hit and his health went from 69 to 66. Helioptile used Thunder Shock at Ponyta.

Habib: Ponyta dodge it then use Tackle!

Galarian Ponyta: neigh!

Ponyta dodged Helioptile's Thunder Shock and Ponyta used Tackle. Helioptile got hit and his health went from 66 to 63.

Habib: (Sighs) This is going to take a while.

After a few hours Habib trained his Ponyta and Impidimp until they are both level 15. He healed his Pokémon then he returned them back to their Pokéballs. It took Habib a couple of days until he arrived at Wedgehurst. During his journey he caught a Mawile, a Mimikyu, a shiny Azurill, and a Eevee. Habib trained all his Pokémon to level 15. He arrived to the research lab and he opened the door. Once Habib went inside he saw the region's professor, professor Magnolia.

Habib: Hello professor Magnolia.

Professor Magnolia turned around and sees Habib.

Professor Magnolia: Hello young man you must be Habib right?

Habib: Yes I am Habib, professor.

Professor Magnolia went to get a Pokédex and a plane ticket.

Professor Magnolia: Here you go young man your Pokédex and your mother sent this for you.

Professor Magnolia gave Habib a Pokédex and a plane ticket to Sinnoh.

Professor Magnolia: Since you are planing to start your Pokémon journey in the Sinnoh region, I'll call professor Rowan to let him know that you will arrive for he can update your Pokédex to have information on Pokémon that are not found in Galar.

Habib: Thank you professor.

Professor Magnolia: Your welcome young man. Now you better go to not miss your flight.

Habib: Okay professor good bye.

Professor Magnolia: Good bye young man and good luck at the Sinnoh region.

Habib: Thanks professor.

Habib leaves the research lab and starts walking to the airport. Once he arrived at the airport, Habib walked to a video phone to call hi mum. After a few minutes Habib's mum answered the phone.

Mum: Hello?

Habib: Hey mum.

Mum: Habib how are you son?

Habib: I'm good mum I'm currently at the airport.

Habib's mum smiles at her son.

Mum: I see you like your present.

Habib: Yes, mum I do like my present.

Mum: I knew that would son. You always loved your grandma's story about how she met your grandpa in the Sinnoh region.

Habib: Thanks mum.

Habib hanged up the video phone and starts walking to his plane.
