Trustful Dog Coming with Rose Connecting
Jaune and Ruby are seen riding in the elevator together as they were asked to come because Headmaster Ozpin told them to come, it was also a request from General Ironwood after seeing Ruby in the CCT and Jaune tried to catch the sneaky woman though lost her.
"I hope we don't get in trouble." Ruby worried.
"They just want to know what went on last night at CCT during the Beacon Dance and if there are anything else we can help explaining things to them." Jaune assured to his rose girlfriend.
"But we're not going to tell them everything like about our investigation, right?" Ruby asked.
"Of course not, otherwise we would be sent to detention if we didn't get to do our first mission." Jaune nodded and crossing his arms.
The two lovers went silence for a moment while hearing the beeping sounds of the elevator going one floor at a time which is taking them sometime for them arriving at the office, Jaune open one eye looking towards Ruby who is whistling innocent but nervously trying to act like she doesn't notice this.
"Did you really have to press all the buttons when we got in here?" Jaune asked.
"I couldn't help it! Pressing the buttons just made me feel powerful and they were all begging me to press them all!" Ruby proclaimed exclaiming.
"Well, guess I'll have to make sure you don't think about those buttons anymore and more focus on me." Jaune smirked and pulls Ruby closer to his body.
This causes Ruby to blush hard upon hearing those flirting and confident words from her recent first boyfriend as she smiles at the same time, feeling her hearts beating fast and moving her hand onto his cheek as she didn't want this moment to end. She screams in her mind to feel like she just became the luckiest girl in the world, and they cuddle their cheeks together, their lips closing in together.
But the beep sound from the elevator went off interrupting their loving moment.
"Oh, guess we're here." Ruby realized they arrived in the headmaster's office.
"Then we better not keep them waiting." Jaune said.
Ruby decided to not waste this last moment and grab Jaune by the face to smack her lips not onto his which caught the Ultimate Lifeform off guard, but he didn't waste this chance and kiss her back for a few seconds before they separated their lips from each other as they smile.
"You know we just started dating, right?" Jaune asked chuckling.
"I know, but my heart just told me to go for it." Ruby said.
"Okay, now we should really get going to the teachers." Jaune stated and Ruby nodded before walking out of the elevator.
"Sorry it took so long. Someone accidentally hit all the buttons on the elevator on the way up here." Ruby explained.
"It was her because she just wanted to feel powerful." Jaune pointed her finger at Ruby causing her to gasp.
"Thank you two for coming. How are you feeling?" Ozpin asked, concern for his student's health.
"Doing okay as anyone else, and me being awesome as always." Jaune bragged with a smirk and Ruby giggles.
"I just wish we could have caught the bad woman in the scene and stop her from… whatever she was doing back there." Ruby said.
"Do not blame yourself, none of us could have known that a spy snuck into tower." Glynda stated.
"True, all we can do is work harder and be prepared for what else we can do at the meantime." Jaune agreed with a smirk at Glynda causing her to blush and quickly look away.
"Ruby, Jaune, I feel it's appropriate to let you two know that I think what you did last night is exactly what being a Huntsman and Huntress is all about. You recognized a threat. You took action. And you did the very best you could." James stated proudly at the two.
"Thank you, sir." Ruby and Jaune said together.
"Now, the general here has already informed us of the events that... transpired last night, but now that you've rested, we were wondering if you had anything to add." Ozpin mentioned.
"Was anyone else with her? Did she look familiar to you at all?" Glynda asked.
"Nope, no one I knew who can sneak her way into the tower and doing those crazy moves. I got to admit though she was sexy in a dangerous way." Jaune stroked his chin, not knowing he just complimented Cinder.
This earn a slight jealous look from Glynda and Ruby was surprised that Jaune would even compliment a woman who tried to hurt them last night, Ozpin and James were a bit concern when hearing this though figured it's just how he is as a male.
"She was wearing a mask, and she never said anything to me. But I know she fought with glass. I don't think that was her Semblance, though. Her clothing lit up whenever she attacked." Ruby explained as much as she can about the woman from last night.
"Save for the glass, that sounds like the woman I fought the night we met Ruby." Glynda remembered that night.
"Embedding Dust into clothing is an age-old technique. It could have been anyone." James pointed out.
"Well, there was that moment when I caught her arrows and they suddenly exploded when her hand glowed for a second. I think that might be her Semblance." Jaune informed.
"Hmm, making things she touches explode upon command. Not a lot to go with, but it's better than nothing. Thank you, Jaune." James thanked for the new info.
"Wait. You think this girl is connected to Torchwick and the White Fang?" Ruby asked.
"It's possible. But we still lack the required evidence to link the two together." Ozpin said.
"Well, while I was strolling around the city the other day, I heard a rumor that the White Fang are hiding outside the kingdom. There wasn't a specific location, just somewhere the southeast." Jaune mentioned, making that up while using the info his team and friends managed to get.
"Interesting. We'll have to look into those rumors." Ozpin grinned a little.
"We can try." James said.
"Thank you for your cooperation, Ruby, Jaune. Why don't you go and spend some time with your teams? You have a big day ahead of you." Ozpin excused them to leave.
"You got that right. Our first mission is important and we're getting excited for it!" Jaune smiled.
"We're gonna rock those missions!" Ruby nodded and jumped in the air of excitement.
"(Glad to see they have their high spirits up.)" Ozpin thought smiled at his two potential strong students.
Jaune and Ruby leaves toward the elevator to make their way back to the dormitory and to meet up with their teams as well.
(Dormitory, Hallway)
"I have to say, you handle that pretty well." Jaune commented.
"You think so? I thought I was feeling really nervous and worry that I was going to mess up." Ruby exclaimed.
"Well, you were nervous, but I wouldn't say you messed everything up and you were able to keep your cool in that meeting." Jaune pointed out.
"I did, didn't I?" Ruby feels amazed at herself.
"And you know, I wanted to try out that kiss again." Jaune smirked causing Ruby to blush.
"O-Okay." Ruby decided to go for it and kiss him on the lips as the two are having their loving moment together. With Jaune's hands moving around a little, and squeezing her butt cheek making her yelp in surprise.
"I hope I'm not interrupting anything." Pyrrha giggled, getting their attention to see the red-hair girl in armor.
"That depends… Do you want to join in?" Jaune asked with a smirk.
"That sounds lovely, but the others are waiting in team RWBY's room as they want to know how the headmaster office went down." Pyrrha reminded them of the others.
Jaune and Ruby agrees with Pyrrha as they walk into the room where both teams were waiting for their leaders and were inform of everything that went down.
"I have to say, you did far better than I thought Ruby would have done had she been the one mentioning about the southeast." Weiss stated causing Ruby to hang her head.
"The important thing is we don't have to worry about the teachers suspecting us of anything." Blake believed.
"But we still need to be careful, especially with what we're gonna be doing very soon." Ren said referring about going on their first mission starting today.
"Yeah, getting ready to smash some Grimm's head into dust!" Nora shouted exciting and holding her hammer in the air.
"That does cheer me up a little." Ruby giggled.
"I know just what to cheer you up more." Yang said holding a cylindrical package the length of her forearm.
"What's that?" Ruby asked.
"I don't know yet. Dad sent it to us. I thought we could open it together!" Yang answered.
"Ooooh! Something from home!" Ruby dashed over to Yang with her legs around her older sister's waist and reaching for the package.
The package open from the bottom and something black furry came out though that thing suddenly shakes for a second then pops into a corgi dog shape, everyone looks down at the dog with curious and surprise look on their faces as the dog looks back at them and let out a happy bark.
"Holy Chaos!" Jaune shocked as everyone also gasp.
"Zwei!" Ruby screamed happily to see the Rose-Xiao Long family's dog is here as she picks him up and hugs Zwei.
"He sent a dog?" Blake shocked.
"In the mail?" Weiss shocked as well.
"Aw, aren't you cute a little thing!" Nora made baby noise wiggling her fingers on Zwei's belly as he licks on both her and Ruby's face.
"Oh, he does stuff like this all the time!" Yang chuckled.
Ren felt a slight wind from his side and turn to see that Blake who was standing next to him a few seconds ago and look up seeing that she disappeared onto Ruby's top bunk.
"Your father or your dog?" Blake asked, looking down at the dog with her eyes being narrow.
"Are you telling me that this mangy... drooling... mutt…" Weiss looked at Zwei with a serious face, but upon seeing the cute face of the little dog is causing something within to come out.
"Is going to wiv wif us foweva? Oh, yes, he is, yes, he is! Oh, isn't he adorable!" Weiss Schnee has surrendered to the power of cuteness from the dog.
"We have just witnessed the frozen heart of the Ice Queen!" Nora announced in a dramatic way.
"Shush, you!" Weiss quickly glared at the hammer wielding girl.
"Please keep it away from my belongings." Blake said.
"I take it you didn't have a good experience with dogs in the past." Ren guessed looking up at the black cat girl.
"Something I've been struggling to get over for years." Blake sighed.
"Would all first-year students please report to the amphitheater?" Glynda said speaking through the speaker box.
This got two teams to look a little serious as they heard Professor Goodwitch's voice, they knew going there means they along with other Hunters in training are going to start their very first mission to see how they will do out on the field and face the danger up ahead as well.
But there was one problem that got Weiss concern as she looks at Zwei still in Ruby's arms.
"Well, we can't exactly leave him here while we're gone for the week." Weiss gestured to the dog.
"Yeah, did your dad also sent you something that can help keep Zwei busy in the meantime?" Jaune asked the blonde girl while Ruby set Zwei down.
"Hold on, let me see." Yang looked and reached inside the package until she felt something.
"Look, there's a letter." Yang pulled out the letter while Zwei walks over to the bunk bed trying to reach for Blake as she goes backward in a little fear.
"Dear girls, I've got to leave the island for a few days, so I'm sending Zwei to you to take care of. Enclosed is all the food you should need. Love you both, Taiyang." Yang read the letter while Zwei walks over in front of Yang's legs.
Right after reading the letter, dozens of dogfood cans fell out of the package and right on top of Zwei, piling all over the dog.
"Whoa, is your dad part magician or something?" Nora asked surprise of seeing so many dogfood cans here.
"You know, I did once think about asking him thought but I never got around and just forgot along the way." Rub explained.
"What is he supposed to do with that?" Weiss gestured to the dozens of dogfoods and Zwei pops out of the pile.
"Well, it's not let the man packed a can opener." Jaune shrugged.
Yang shook the package one last time for a can opener to drop out and bounce off from Zwei's head, then she tosses and package and the letter away.
"Well, that settles it! Come on girls, Zwei will be here when we get back!" Yang smiled as she walks away.
"Wait, wait, are you saying this dog can actually use a can opener by himself?" Ren asked following Yang in pursuit of the answer.
"By Zwei, I hope you don't have too much fun while we're gone!" Nora smiled petting Zewi's head while leaving.
"Oh, I'll miss you so much, we're going to be best friends, I can't wait to see you." Weiss talked cute baby sound while tickling Zwei's chin as she leaves, and Blake jumping from the bed to the counter and out the door.
"If I have known your family was that interesting then I would have wanted to meet them sooner." Jaune amazed of Ruby's family.
But Ruby didn't reply to that as she looks down at Zwei feeling sad that he is going to be here alone when he just got here to spend some time with her and Yang, she couldn't send him back to the island since the letter said her dad is gonna be away on a mission for a while and worry the staff might take him away.
That's when she grins upon getting a great idea in her head.
"You just got a crazy idea, didn't you?" Jaune asked.
"Do you trust me?" Ruby asked concern.
"Ruby, my adorable rose, you know you can always count on me for anything even if that something is crazy. I got you." Jaune assured and kissed her on the lips for extra.
"Glad to hear it." Ruby smiled and leaned forward to whisper her idea into Jaune's ear.
(Auditorium)
Ruby and Jaune walk together while holding hands to show off their love for each other which some saw this thinking they would make a cute couple, but others were confused of remembering that Jaune went out with Pyrrha at the dance last night.
Ruby places her backpack down with the other bags and luggage from the other students knowing where to find it, she and Jaune went over to their team just in time to see Glynda and Ozpin on the stage seeing as the speech is about to begin.
"Quiet! Quiet please. Professor Ozpin would like to share a few words before we begin." Glynda said before stepping away for Ozpin to take the mic.
"(Alright, Ozpin. Let see what inspiring words you got for us, hopefully a little upbringing than the start of the school year.)" Jaune thought readied himself to listen.
"Today we stand together, united. Mistral. Atlas. Vacuo. Vale. The four Kingdoms of Remnant. On this day, nearly eighty years ago, the largest war in recorded history came to an end. It was a war of ignorance, of greed, and of oppression. A war that was about much more than where borders fell or who traded with whom, but about the very idea of individualism itself. We fought for countless reasons, one of which being the destruction of all forms of art and self-expression. And as you are well aware, that was something many could not stand for. As a result, those who opposed this tyranny began naming their children after one of the core aspects of art itself: color. It was their way to demonstrate that not only would they refuse to tolerate this oppression, but neither were the generations to come. And it was a trend that is held to this very day. We encourage individuality, expressionism, and unity through diversity. As I have said, today we stand together, united. But this bond cannot exist without effort. Which is why today, while the rest of the world celebrates peace, Huntsmen and Huntresses will work to uphold it. As first year students, you will be tasked with shadowing a professional Huntsman or Huntress on a mission. Some of you may be taken out of the Kingdom for several days. Others may work within the walls for the rest of the week. But no matter which path you choose, remember to be safe, remember your training, and remember to do your very best." Ozpin said and bowed at the students.
"Wow, I suddenly feel inspired right now." Jaune surprised.
"Me too, inspire to smash those Grimms into pastes!" Nora declared with a fist in the air.

Everyone's first mission is about to begin including team RWBY and JNPR though they may not be going on the same mission together, but that doesn't mean they won't give these missions they're all as things may get a little interesting for Jaune.
