Vytal Festival First Exciting Fight
Jaune, the rest of Team JNPR, Team RWBY, along with the other guests like Pyrrha's mom Pyra and Jaune's older sister with her family are standing on the ground of the floating colosseum that is known as the Amity Colosseum.
"Wow, we are so high!" Pyra shocked.
"I think I can see our house from here. Can you see our house, Adrian?" Terra asked teasing as Adrian looks at the wonderful view.
"I heard stories about how great this colosseum is, especially with the high view, but this is… more than what I was expecting." Ruby said.
"Then you haven't seen what Atlas is like." Weiss said.
"Maybe I could have gotten a picture there too, should be a quick trip with my teleporting ability and be back in time for the first match." Jaune smirked, getting an idea and about to grab his Scroll.
But that plan was stopped by Weiss pulling on his ear.
"You will do no such thing, mister. Do you have any idea how much trouble you could cause if you suddenly go to Atlas where there are soldiers patrolling, you could end up being arrested for trespassing without a pass or something!" Weiss scolded.
"Ow, ow, okay, I get it! I won't go to Atlas!" Jaune cried.
"I swear, Jaune is such a dork." Saphron commented smiling while Adrian laughs.
"He maybe a dork, but he's our dork to love!" Yang stated as she pushes Weiss away and bring Jaune in for a hug with his face pressed onto her breasts.
"No fair, Yang! I want to hug him too!" Ruby blitzed in and hugs Jaune's arm.
"Now, now, remember we're all sharing Jaune, so we have to be considered to each other." Pyrrha pointed out, going up to Jaune from behind and pressing herself onto his back making him feel arouse a bit.
"Really? You fools do know we're in a public place, right?!" Weiss asked angrily.
Blake on the other hand is having a different reaction upon seeing this loving display, it's making her heart beat so fast and her cat ears are twitching that is causing the bow to twitch too.
"To think Jaune got himself a harem, wait until mom hears about this." Saphron smirked.
"I believe Pyrrha mention there are two more girlfriends in this relationship, but I don't see them." Pyra looked around, remembering what they look like from Pyrrha's description.
"Okay girls, doesn't team RWBY need to get ready for their match?" Jaune asked.
"You're right! We have to get going now or else we'll be late, and we'll be qualified!" Ruby realized as she ran off.
"Wait for us, you fool!" Weiss shouted as she ran after her leader.
"Watch us kick some ass, Jauney boy!" Yang smirked, running backward a bit before running for real and Blake soon follows them.
"Come on, all the good sits will be taken if we don't hurry!" Nora excitedly as she rushes toward the audience seats.
And soon, the Vytal Tournament with one of the first few rounds being Team RWBY going up against Team ABRN from Haven Academy.
Ruby is twirling her Crescent Rose and stab it for a shooting position to shoot one bullet and then charges in. Blake is battling against Reese Chloris as the former clashes her blades of Gambol Shroud against Reese's hoverboard then flips away a few feet. Weiss and Yang are also battling their own opponents with the latter firing twice and charges at Arslan.
Then the scene shows Doctor Oobleck and Professor Port in the sportscaster desk with a microphone between them, and a holographic image of the four Remnant Kings together as one.
"Hello! It seems that we have another astonishing bout ahead of us! Wouldn't you agree, Professor?" Port asked.
"Doctor." Oobleck corrected, annoyed that his title is being ignored like this but quickly change to an exciting expression again.
"And yes Peter, I think it's safe to say this match may be the closest we've seen of the four-on-four round of the tournament!" Oobleck pointed out.
"For those of you just now joining us, welcome to the Vytal Festival Tournament, broadcast live from the Amity Colosseum!" Port announced.
The scene zooms out showing the entire inside of the stadium with most, if not all of the seats are filled with so many people as they cheer loudly, and the colosseum is roaring with excitement.
Not only that, but the battle stage itself has been arrange to be half lava field with a volcano or two and the other half is all ice.
"Yeah! Go Team RWBY!" Jaune cheered.
"Show them no mercy!" Nora screamed with a scary grin.
"Is she always like this?" Pyra asked Ren.
"If this is your first time watching, allow us to break down the rules." Port said as Oobleck starts breaking down the rules.
"The tournament is divided into three distinctive rounds: teams, doubles, and singles. Age and school year are irrelevant! In this tournament, your only attribute being tested... is skill." Oobleck explained as he pushes back his glasses.
"Correct! The winners of this battle will elect two of their members to represent them in the doubles round, followed by the winners of that round choosing one member to advance once again. The remaining combatants will then fight their way through the final bracket in the hope of achieving victory for their kingdom!" Port explained the rest of the battle tournament rules and the achievements.
"And yes, Peter, these certainly are some spectacular spectacles on which to spectate on! I don't think anyone tuning in around the world is going to disagree with me on that!" Oobleck stated excitedly.
"Ahh, and why would they? Now, let's get back to the match between Team RWBY of Beacon, and Team ABRN, of Haven." Port said.
"Yeah! That's our friends and lovers!" Jaune shouted.
"You know that sounds misunderstanding of what you were trying to say, right?" Ren asked his leader.
"I do now!" Jaune nodded.
(Music: Bamm, Disney Zombies!)
Reese is riding on her hoverboard then throws at Blake who strike it back to the user, but Reese wasn't worried as she punches the hoverboard back to attack Blake again, but Blake kicks it away this time only for the hoverboard to crave around back to Reese just in time to block some swift assaults.
Reese twirls her hoverboard and strikes at Blake's blades with the blades of her board then jumps back and flies to ram her opponent over.
Blake smirks because she is ready for this, she forms a clone with her Shadow Semblance and combined it with Ice Dust to make an ice clone for Reese to attack and comes in with an uppercut slash sending Reese into the air and her board in half.
But the board was not cut in half, but Reese had her board split in two to become dual guns firing a few energy shots at Blake. Unfortunately, she was not quick enough for the landing as she fell on her butt painfully.
"Oh! She's gonna need to see a doctor about that butt injury." Nora said.
Yang jumps high and lands a few feet away from Arslan while she backs away to give herself some distances, but Yang charges in fast to throw one punch on the head and the other on the side before Arslan starts countering and the two clash their fists creating a powerful shockwave then were knock away from each other.
Yang comes in again with a kick as Arslan backflips to dodge that kick and wrapping her foot with a rope dart to pull Yang up and kick the blondie on the stomach to sent Yang flying onto the ice-half of the battlefield.
Yang gets back up though finds herself having trouble with balance due to how slippery the ice is, that gives Arslan the chance to strike her down.
Nadir Shiko of Team ABRN is nearby and spotted Yang down, he was about to shot her with his assault rifle, but a sudden frosty explosion erupted from behind and leaving his legs frozen in ice. Nadir whimpers in sadness.
"Got your back!" Ruby smiled.
"But who's got yours?" Bolin asked, appearing behind him and ready to strike with his bo staff.
But a black Glyph appears on Bolin's left and Weiss comes in with a flying kick to send Bolin through the black Glyph that sent him into a rock on the volcano side.
"My BFF!" Ruby smiled.
"No." Weiss deadpanned before running off.
"Yes!" Ruby whispered to herself, not giving up on their great friendship.
"Your friends are doing great out there; bet they must've given you a challenge in training." Saphron said to Jaune.
"Well, I did challenge all four of them to that one tough sparring match and I came out with not a single scratch." Jaune bragged, but Saphron gave him the "really" look.
"Okay, they did manage to land several hits on me, but I still won in the end!" Jaune stated.
Back in the fight, Weiss forms a white Glyph to make herself move faster to blitz on Bolin and tries to attack him as she jumps over, but Bolin was able to block that strike with his staff.
Weiss forms another Glyph right behind her for Ruby to jump high from it and comes down to slash at Bolin who blocks it with his staff, then Ruby pulled the trigger to fire a shot to push Bolin away and herself back to Weiss.
Bolin gets back seeing now he is facing two opponents, this is definitely a disadvantage though maybe he could work around with this and ran forward while dodging the two girls.
"What?" Ruby shocked and confused.
But Bolin's plan is soon revealed when he broke a part of a fire Dust crystal and threw it at Reese who caught it and install it into her hoverboard, Reese look at Blake for a second before riding on.
Reese hovers over to Nadir and uses the heatwave of the fire mode to melt the ice, thus freeing Nadir.
"Thanks, Reese!" Nadir thanked his teammate.
Reese charges at Blake as she defends herself against the hoverboard that pushes her through the large chunk of ice behind her, Reese jumps high to burn slam down on Blake, but she flips herself back to dodge it and used her Semblance to dodge a spinning fire attack.
"(Gonna need to take her out now.)" Blake thought.
Blake threw her Gambol Shroud at one large piece of ice and pulls herself around to hide.
Reese quickly follows her and spotted the girl in black standing close to the edge, she decided to go in and take her out while her guard is down.
Reese charges to slam against Blake only for that Blake to be a Shadow clone and the ribbon of Gambol Shroud is thrown across the as Reese see this and it was too late to stop as she stumble onto the ribbon and was kicked right out of the stage and slam onto a wall.
"Ooh, a double whammy! Reese Chloris is eliminated by ringout and Aura level!" Port announced with the meter bar showing Reese is down and out.
"Oh, she really should've worn a helmet!" Oobleck commented.
Arslan is sliding through the ice field with the use of her rope dart with Yang chasing after her with her Ember Celica giving her a boost.
Nadir flips and pointed his gun at Weiss, but the Schnee heiress conquer a black Glyph to have Bolin crash onto his teammate.
Weiss makes another black Glyph making the two boys of the opposing team float around and slam them onto each other and starts forming a giant ice hand grabbing Nadir and Bolin then that fist form into a large, rounded ice ball that starts rolling with the boys screaming.
Arslan saw her boys getting embarrassed out there and roll her eyes knowing that they need her to get them out of a tough jam, again. She quickly gets herself in the path of the rolling ice ball and ready herself when it gets closer.
Weiss sees this and knows that the plan is coming together.
Arslan gets into her stance and threw one strong punch that broke the entire ice that free two of her male teammates.
"Yang!" Weiss called out and form a giant frozen-like slide. "Now!"
"Oh, it looks like they're about to end this fight." Pyrrha noticed this with a smile.
"I bet it's going to be a big finish." Jaune smiled.
"Come on! Break their legs!" Nora shouted with a scary grin causing Terra to cover Adrian's eyes.
Yang knew it was her time to finish this fight once and for all, using the extra boost from her Ember Celica to get on the slide and Blake threw her Gambol Shroud for Yang to grab, Blake jumps and leaps high from Ruby.
Blake threw the ribbon forward which causes Yang to be launched right at the three remain of Team ABRN and threw one strong punch that sent all three of them out of the stage which eliminates them out of the fight.
"Yes!" Yang smiled.
"And that's the match! Team RWBY is victorious!" Port announced.
"We… did it?" Weiss surprised to hear there.
"They did it!" Jaune shouted smiling as he jumps with joy.
"That was amazing, you have great friends, sweetie!" Pyra complimented.
"Thank you, I'm glad to have met them." Pyrrha smiled proudly for her friends.
"WE DID IT!" Ruby shouted in victory.
(Vytal Festival Fairground)
"Is anyone else hungry?" Ruby groaned, feeling her stomach is demanding food right now.
"I may have worked up an appetite." Blake admitted, with her stomach growling like a beast much to her embarrassment.
"Well, it's a good thing we brought you here to the fairground and get us some food!" Jaune gestured at the festival stands and all.
"Oh yeah, all that watching you girls kick ass and cheering you guys on sure made me quite hungry!" Nora patted her stomach.
"Nora, no swearing in front of the baby." Ren gestured to Adrian who is trying to reach for his hand.
"Now we just need to find a place for all of us to eat." Ren said.
"Let's make it quick, Adrian saw some of the prizes we passed by and he seems to want one of them or some." Saphron informed as the baby boy is excited with seeing all those new fun toys.
"Come on! I know just the place." Yang said and they walk together.
Weiss stop for a moment to look at her Scroll that she is getting a call from her father which made her glare and reject the call.
"Is everything alright, Weiss?" Pyra asked.
"Everything is fine, Miss Nikos." Weiss assured as they continue walking with the others.
"Hey! Might be hard to eat without this." Emerald said, getting their attention and showed that she is holding Ruby's wallet and she freaked out that her pockets are empty.
"Good to see you, Ruby. And Cinder said hello to you, Jaune." Emerald chuckled as she handed the wallet back to Ruby.
"Oh! Thanks, Emerald! Oh. Guess I dropped it. Girl pockets are the worst!" Ruby believed.
"Did you and your team saw their match?" Jaune asked.
"We did and it was amazing." Emerald smiled.
"Well, I think your team's fight was awesome too! You guys were fighting so much it was like professional Hunters were down there instead of students!" Jaune complimented.
"(If only you know.)" Emerald thought blushed.
"I like that goth teammate of yours, showing off that dominating side certainly got me going." Nora smirked.
"Please don't copy her." Ren begged.
"JNPR is lucky to have seen your fight, bet you guys are feeling confident for the tournament." Jaune said.
"We are, and it looks like me and Merc are going to be in the double round. What about you guys?" Emerald asked.
"Well, as the leader of this team, I thought long and hard about this decision." Ruby said, looking pretty proud of herself.
"We put it to a vote." Weiss revealed with a straight face.
"Yes, so, but I decided that we should put it to a vote." Ruby stated.
"We voted for Yang and Weiss." Blake said.
"I will happily represent Team RWBY." Weiss smiled.
"Yeah, we're going to kick some butt!" Yang smirked.
"What about you guys?" Emerald asked Jaune.
"Well, I'm going for the double round, of course. For the second one, we're going to make that a surprise." Jaune smirked, leaning his face a little closer to Emerald who leans back with her face blushing.
"Okay, I'll, huh, just be going now." Emerald said before powerwalking away from a smirking Jaune.

The time of the Vytal Festival is finally upon us with Jaune and his friends and harem will face some tough opponents on the field, along with a few surprises I have in mind for this story as you will see who is about to show up in the tournament.
