"So as you can see there are many different ways Pokegirl Trainers take care of their Girls." Joy finished her explanation. I had brought Cutiefly and Vulpix to the Center for treatment. Cutiefly had taken a nasty Fury Attack from a random girl's Trumbeak. The attack had only hit once but what should have been a small puncture wound on Cutiefly was massive in comparison.
Luckily it had been on her calf and not threatening. She had finished the fight with her new move, Draining Kiss. The Fairy Energy had reopened several wounds on the Trumbeak's body and dropped it. The healing effect had also stemmed the bleeding down and a potion and bandage had taken care of the rest. I did have to be convinced by Rapp to not immediately turn around and head to the Center.
"Pokegirls are all tougher than they look. What might cripple you is at best an inconvenience for them. You really have to try and kill one to do any real damage." She had told me to calm my nerves. Still here we were.
Vulpix was getting a round of antitoxins. A match against Zipp's Trubbish had resulted in another win. However in the course of the battle Trubbish had landed a heavy Toxic. He had tried to stall after that but a dose of speed from Quick Attack and Feint Attack broke his strategy down. I did compliment him on it though. Toxic stalls were just too iconic for me to be mad about it. I had left after that cause no one could talk me out of getting them checked.
While I was waiting Joy spotted me and struck a conversation up. In the discussion of team competitions I posed the question that led us here. "What do trainers with more than 6 Pokegirls do?" Joy had immediately taken upon herself to educate me. She put a note in my Pokegirls files that I was in her office and led me back there. From there I got the lecture of my life.
Simply put, there were almost too many and not enough solutions. The most obvious was, keep them on you. It was simple to just keep all the Pokeballs you had filled on you at all times. There was also a glaring problem with this approach. Food costs. Since Pokeballs don't stasis Girls in them they still need to eat, move and have sexual relief. With the other two problems, food will always be required and difficult to source depending on how many you have and what their diets are. For example, a lot of Steel Types need raw iron ore to balance their diets, not exactly abundant and is expensive to buy and carry around.
That leads to the next solution. Most Centers had PokeGirl storage. Pokegirls were stasised in this option and was generally the most popular. These stasis Pokeballs could last for years. The only problem was the service. You see every Center could store for any Trainer and every Trainer could swap in and out their Girls. The issue was if you weren't near your normal Center you had to contact them, the original had to transfer to the Center you were currently at, and that was if you could get a transfer request through. Most Centers had normal operations so there was a chance you had to wait for your girl to transfer.
Of course, there's always the company solution. I thought with a bit of a grimace. Of course where there's a chance for profit there are always companies ready to make money hand over fist for it. Silph Co., Devon Corp, and basically every major company had their own private PokeGirl banks. All of them have the same pitches and offers, 24/7 access to your girls, instant transfer, convenient stations across the world. The only real difference was what company you wrote the check to. And it was a big check. It makes sense that most trainers that had a massive bank would be professionals that could afford it. Still there was one solution I hadn't heard yet.
"What about PokeGirl professors? Would they take in any girls for Trainers?" I asked.
Joy blinked before realization came across her face. "Oh you're talking about Lab affiliates? Professors will take in some Trainers to assist their research. They'll sign off on their Pokegirls being used in experiments and they'll be put into their own private system for transfers."
"Is that a viable option?"
"Not for the average Trainer, no. You first have to be recruited by the professor so that's no guarantee. While you would have instant access to your Girls through a specific link instance, it's just not common for a Professor to take on a Trainer as an affiliate." She shook her head, "Honestly, unless it's Professor Oak or Professor Birch, who have large tracts of land to study the Pokegirls, your girls will be put into stasis like at a Center or a company anyways. It's just a private network overall."
I nodded as Nurse Joy got a call. She spoke for a few seconds before turning back to me, "Your Pokegirls are ready! They're in the lobby waiting for you. Don't forget if you get too many Pokegirls you can always come and set up a Bank with us." I nodded and thanked her as I exited.
Vulpix and Cutiefly were waiting with a nurse in blue scrubs. Vulpix still looked a bit dazed so I returned her and Cutiefly settled on my shoulder. As I exited the PokeGirl Center I got a call. Mallow's new contact picture popped up. I smiled at her insistence that I absolutely set her picture to be her standing over her new stew recipe.
"Whatever it is, I'm there if there's food." I answered the phone to giggles on the other end.
"Good to know I can get through to you with your stomach." Mallow said. I could hear pots and pans in the background. Sounds like she's hard at work.
"What can I say? I'm a simple guy." I sat down on a half wall as Cutiefly decided to grab a snack of nectar out of the flowers on the other side.
"Hmmm, maybe not so simple." Mallow said, "Anyways I was wondering if you're free Friday night?"
"Hmmm let's see, living in the woods with no parents to answer to. I think I can clear a couple things for you."
Mallow was silent on the other end. "I really wish you weren't out there every night. What will you do when it's storm season?"
"I've got a plan. Building up the entrance to the cave so it'll stay dry. I promise I've got a plan for that." I reassured her. I did actually have plans for the clearing. Here's hoping those survivalist videos I watched weren't lying.
The plan was to use thin trees cut down and placed into deep holes with rocks to reinforce them. Then to build a frame with bamboo slats. Finally for a bit of insulation, plaster the walls with a mixture of mud and long grass. The hope was it would dry and form almost an abode like structure. Just enough to keep rain and anything truly wild out. I doubt it would even work or it would hold for more than a season but it was better than nothing.
"Besides," I finished my thought, "I promised you I would come to you for help. If I'm gonna drown in a storm I'll make sure I float towards the restaurant first. That way you can get in a 'I told you so'."
A snort came from the other end, "Ass. What's the word Mom used? Incorrigible. That's what you are." I could help but laugh. I could feel myself loosening up in this world. I was truly established here.
"Anyways~" Mallow continued. "My friend Lillie– I think I told you about her?- she's getting back from her ski trip tomorrow. And Friday is the Kanto League so we're planning on doing a big group thing at her house!"
I blinked at that. The Kanto League? My eyes widened as I realized I'd almost forgotten. I had looked all the league times up. The ability to challenge gyms lasted all year but the Leagues took badges from the current year to compete. The finals were of course staggered throughout the year so people always had a league around the corner. The only difference was Galar which basically had a quarterly turn around. I almost missed the first chance I had to tell what time I had landed myself in.
"Yeah! I'd love to watch the League with everyone. Who's all coming?" I asked.
"Well Lana and I will be there so you'll have some people you know. Our friend Kiawe will be there, I've been talking you up to him so you might get challenged by him!" She said with a giggle. I thought briefly about telling her I already met him but I figured it would be funnier to let it happen. "Lillie, duh. It's her house. Oh! and our friend Sophocles!"
"Sounds like a full house. Not inviting Rapp?" I asked.
"That's part of why I called you. Would you mind extending the invitation to them? I would but…I'm okay with Rapp and Zipp but Tupp is a little much."
I nodded my head while making a note to tell Tupp to dial it back. "Sure I'll hit them up."
"Awesome! I'll send you her address-'' I could hear Abe in the background yelling for a second before Mallow came back on the line, "Sorry! Gotta go! Bye!"
Mallow hung up just as I heard Bounsweet start yelling as well and crashing of plates. RIP Mallow. I'll keep you in my thoughts.
I sent a quick text to Rapp after and got an expected response.
"Princess? Yeah I'll show up. She was always nice, kinda weird around Pokegirls tho."
"Princess?" I questioned. I knew Lillie was rich but to be straight up called a princess was a little much.
"You'll see when you get to her place. I thought my folks were well off but that place is a damn castle."
I was about to ask further when she cut me off.
"Tupp and Zipp say they got something. Mom's calling. I'll ttyl ?"
I shrugged before checking the PokeQuests. I had slacked a little bit with battling being a bigger priority for me but I still needed them for some supplemental income. The standard deliveries dominated the space. I refreshed one more time before I just clicked on all my usuals when I saw it. It was a catch request, something that hardly came up in peaceful Alola. That wasn't what caught my eye. It was the requester specifically.
Prof. Kukui

Kukui was not having a great day. Last night a surge broke some of his equipment. While that wouldn't be terrible on its own it's what happened after that was the real problem. The surge had temporarily disabled a field he was using to keep a very delicate experiment in containment.
An eerie disembodied giggle sounded out across the room and he felt himself tense. Oh no, not again. A second later he felt the electrical tingle cross over his nerves as she passed through his body. After she was fully through he was left gasping as his nerves fired off randomly and he felt the other effect he was growing tired of. God damn it, why did it have to be the Ghost Electric type?!
As a Pokegirl professor he knew all Ghost types were all tricky to work with. They all had the ability to turn their physical forms into an ethereal state. This lets them pass through almost all objects, living or otherwise. This did have a side effect however, namely on the living. Due to the nature of their own hormones, a ghost Pokegirl passing through a living creature imparted some of their own lust on their target. This often left their target with bouts of strong lust and desire. Desire that the Pokegirl would sometimes fill but due to a notorious sadistic streak they would often leave targets unsatisfied in the middle.
Kukui was getting first hand experience with this as the giggles coalesced on top of one of his spectrometers. She laid on top of the machine, her form crackling slightly as it came out of her ethereal state. She was 4 feet tall, slim and humanoid but that meant nothing when she could control and alter her form. She had a slight electrical charge across her body, the orange and blue plasmas creating a contrast. She lay on her A cup breasts and flat stomach as she kicked her feet into her round pert butt. Her eyes were a deep blue and her smile was filled with mischief.
"Rotom!" She said with a slight static and giggle. Kukui took a long calming breath. He was an experienced Trainer, he had completed the Island Trials, he had a league under his belt, hell he was one of most respected Pokegirl Professor! A static giggle drew a growl from him. Keep laughing, you're about to meet Last Resort. He thought as his fingers drifted close to Inceniroar's ball. Just as he was about to throw, his front door bell rang. The sound startled him enough for Rotom to zip away into the house's power and she was gone again.
Sighing, he made his way up to the front door from his basement lab. I swear if this is some solicitor…
Kukui opened the door to a young Trainer. The boy had short brown hair and chocolate eyes. His skin was kissed from the Alolan sun and looked to be fit for his age. Kukui blinked as he realized it was the Trainer he had discussed with his former mentor over drinks.
"Hello, I'm here for the capture request." I said with my phone held up. The directions the gps had given were spotty at best so eventually I had been forced to just follow the beach. Luckily, Kukui had a pretty recognizable home once I spotted it.
"Ah, yeah! Sorry about that. Been dealing with her all morning. Please come in!" Kukui stepped aside and I entered his home. It was exactly the same as from what I remembered about the anime, it even had a loft and central fish tank. I had a bit I wanted to ask the professor but I was here to do a job. Fan boying over the coolest Professor had to wait.
"So what's the details? It's gotta be tricky if you're asking for help." I said as I scanned the area. I released Cutiefly who joined me in looking around. I may have been getting better at observing my surroundings but I was no match for Pokegirl senses.
Before Kukui could explain I heard a static filled gasp. I started spinning around on my heel as I looked for the Pokegirl. I was suddenly shoved from my side as Cutiefly threw herself into my face to get me to move. As we shifted a bolt of orange plasma had shot through where I was a second ago. The plasma formed itself into the body of a Pokegirl with distinct Rotom features. Well, looks like I found the Rotom for Rotom Dex prototype.
The girl was pointing and giggling at the sight of me. I should have been offended but it was more of an "omg look who it is" giggle than a "you're funny looking" giggle. I got enough of the latter than you very much.
I scanned how I wanted to catch the literal lightning in a bottle when she sped past me once more. I dodged out of the way as she zipped right into the fridge. Uh-oh. I thought as the fridge turned orange and was surrounded by a purple glow.
"Sorry about your fridge! Cutiefly, Stunning Wind!" The words left my mouth before I could stop them. I had been spamming it so much I forgot that Electric types wouldn't be stunned. The Fairy Energy did cause a bit of damage but the spores were just fried by the plasma surrounding the fridge. The face on the fridge cackled before opening its doors. Oh there is a body in there. The Pokegirls torso was inside the fridge. Her A cup breasts had grown to D cups and her stomach had gained some chubbiness.
Milk next to the ice cream, nice. I thought as the ice maker began sparking. "Dodge!" I yelled diving to the side as a spray of ice flew over my head. Luckily Cutiefly was on top of it by zipping herself to the roof. Me and Kukui ended up hunkered behind his couch as ice began piling up.
I quickly ran through the moves Cutiefly knew before cursing. I was uniquely unprepared for an Electric type, let alone one that could change its secondary on the fly. I turned to the professor, "How likely is she to target a human if they call her out?" Kukui got a confused look on his face.
"With an attack? Unlikely. Passing through you to affect you? Extremely. Ghost types love to target humans over Pokegirls. Funnier reactions to them." He explained and that was all I needed.
"Cutiefly, Sweet Scent!" Cutiefly nodded and dropped from the ceiling fan blade she was hiding behind. She began to glow a slight green as she danced through the air. A rich hormone thick aroma started to fill the air and the ice from Rotom slowed to stop. I crawled out from behind the couch to position myself behind her. The Rotom had actually abandoned her fridge form and was slowly drifting through the air to Cutiefly, a lewd look on her sparking face. Note to self, Sweet Scent is a literal bait move.
"Hey Rotom!" I called out and the aroma quickly disappeared. Rotom blinked and turned to me. "The fridge was nice and all but is that all you got? I mean come on it was more nippy on the way over here." I waved at her with one of my hands behind me. She cackled again and shot towards me, intent on making me feel her own lust. Kukui was about to launch his own pokeball and get me out of the way when I threw up the only electronic I had. She might've been quick but she slammed face first into the phone screen. She disappeared into the device as it dropped. A beat passed before I breathed out a sigh of relief.
"That could have been worse." I mused as I looked over the melting ice in the living room. It wasn't as bad as I imagined. Kukui looked a bit stunned at the chaos that his house had become. A bone deep sigh came from him as he sat on his couch.
"Yes. Yes, that could have been much worse." Kukui said, "Still good work. How did you know that would work?"
"Honestly? I didn't." I said honestly. I was looking at my phone like a ticking bomb. It hadn't moved since it absorbed Rotom and had yet to turn orange. I cautiously picked up the fallen device. There was no telling how the Pokegirl reacted to the capture.
"Well I've never heard of a Rotom integrating with a cellphone before. I don't qui-"
"Ooohhhhh~" a feminine voice groaned out with a slight static. Looking down at my phone I saw it glow orange before a slight blue surrounded it. The orange and blue light overtook the pink of my phone until it sprouted 2 spots for eyes with an antenna in between. The spots open to reveal dark blue eyes filled with circuits that seemed dazed. "What happened?"
I blinked as I stared at the Rotom Phone I was now holding. Kukui's look of shock told me that he had never seen something like this. Don't Galar and Paldea have Rotom Phones? Wait…have they not been invented yet? My eyes widened in horror. Have I just unintentionally invented something ahead of time?! I turned to look at Kukui as he just got a glint in his eye that I recognized as academic curiosity.
"I'm going to have to take a look at your device." He said with all the seriousness a man with the title of Professor could give. I sighed in defeat. There was no point in arguing. Who knows? Maybe I'll be able to spin this into an advantage?
We had to clean his basement lab up a bit. Turns out a wild plasma Pokegirl will indeed destroy numerous pieces of equipment. Still Kukui showed off his problem solving skills and was able to salvage enough for us to begin taking data. Of course it had to start awkwardly.
"Now we'll connect her to the computer with this USB cord." Kukui said holding up a standard connector cord. I nodded and grabbed it from him while he started booting up a program to collect data.
A dramatic gasp met my ears, "You're not going to stick that in little ol' me are you?" Rotom said with an over dramatic tone. A plasma hand extended from the side as she "fainted". "Oh you brutes! Perverts! Oh I must escape to preserve my dignity!" She started to float away but I snatched her out of the air before she could get far.
"Oh! You like it rough, huh Master?" I deadpanned at her cheeky smile that she displayed on her screen. "Well if it pleases you. Be gentle?" She said with faux tears in her eyes. I lined the cord up with the charging port only for her to morph the outer of her case to have legs spreading leaving the port in a specific space.
"Oh, my dignity! Oh Master, please!" I felt my eyes twitch and shook the phone. "Hey-ey-eyey-ey!" After the legs disappeared I was left with a Rotom phone with swirling eyes. "Spin cycle sucksssss." She groaned as I connected her to the computer.
Kukui gave a hearty laugh at my interactions with the little device. "First time with a Ghost Type?"
"Are they always this annoying?" I asked, laying the dizzy phone down on the table. Cutiefly decided to help by taking a seat right on Rotom face. A muffled "Hey!" sounded out as Cutiefly decided to rub herself into get comfortable.
"They're not this vocal normally," Kukui pulled the other forms of Rotom up. It was interesting to see how the Rotom humanoid form adapted to each appliance. Fan and Mow Rotom's legs were replaced with their respective devices creating an almost centaur like look to them. Heat actually seems to grow to accommodate the device into her torso. "My guess is she's using the processor and speaker to communicate more effectively. Although it's extremely interesting that she's able to at all…"
"What do you mean? I know she acts pretty ridiculous but I find Pokegirls to be pretty smart in general. I always figured they could talk if they just had the equipment to make human speech." Cutiefly jumped up as Rotom took a nice bite out of her butt. She hovered in front of me with tears in her eyes. I rolled my eyes and gave her a kiss to make it feel better. The smile I got in return was worth it.
"You're not wrong. It's why most Psychic Pokegirl are able to speak, they're just able to bypass the vocal cord restriction. What I'm talking about is particularly this Rotom." He pulled up more images of Rotom devices, including how my new phone was. Rotom seemed pretty interested in this slide as she hovered up to take photos.
"Oooo, they're so pretty. Hey Master, can we get me some of these for funsies?" She asked as she displayed pictures of her Ghost form begging on her screen.
"A lot of other regions have taken to using Rotom Devices for various tasks. I was actually planning on how to integrate a Rotom into a PokeDex as a research tool." He explained before closing the images. "The difference between those Rotom Devices and this one in particular is their capture statues."
"Wait, so she's wild?" I asked confused.
"As free as a bird! Or a 10 cent hooker on rebate day!" She booped my nose as she flew into my face.
"I wanted to see how a non-domesticated Rotom would influence or be influenced by integrating with a PokeDex. I didn't anticipate her learning to speak and act so quickly." Kukui examined the Pokegirl closer to fake a blush.
"Oh, keep the compliments coming. It just makes me feel so warm and fuzzy."
"Well, what now Professor? I'm still technically on the job for you."
"Hmm, Well we should extract her from your device…" He mused. He didn't get very far when Rotom yelped and fled to behind my head.
"Don't let him get me Master! Bad touch, SOS, Amber alert!" She cried out with a slight alarm tone blaring. I thought about just blowing her theatrics off before I got a look at her eyes. She was genuinely panicked by the idea of leaving my phone. Kukui was waving his hands trying to calm the Plasma Pokegirl down, assuring her that he was still going to take good care of her. I sighed and knew I would regret this.
"She seems scared, Professor. Is there any other way you could run your experiment?" I asked with a slight waver in my voice. I didn't want to insult Kukui, he was generally very chill but he was serious and this was technically his direct work. Kukui frowned before leaning back with his hand on his chin.
"Hmmm, I could take data from her living in your phone... but you would have to be okay with a wild Pokegirl basically hijacking your phone. Are you sure your parents will be okay with that?"
"Definitely no problem with Wild Pokegirls. Happens all the time to me." I said with slight omission. No need to tell him there were no parents to worry about.
"I'll be good! I can do everything for Master! Accept quests, catalog information, call emergency services, suck him off!" Rotom chimed in with her own "helpful" suggestions. Kukui and I decided to ignore her as we thought it over.
"Well, I suppose I could set it to where she transmits data to me. It wouldn't be too hard to do and I could get an account of how Human interactions will progress her learning." Kukui gave it one last long pause before smiling a warm smile. "Well I suppose it couldn't hurt to have another data gatherer. How about it? Give this project of mine a Helping Hand?"
I nodded and shook his hand. This was actually a great thing. Not only did it get my foot in the door with Kukui, I would now have a Pokegirl that I could actually talk to and ask questions. Who knows? Maybe she could translate for my Pokegirls who can't speak!
"YAY! Master!" Rotom cheered as she grew her arms and gave my neck a big hug. Cutiefly wasn't one to be left out and hugged our new member from behind. Rotom just grew a second set of arms to hug the fairy back.
Kukui still wouldn't let us go. We had to set up the ways she would be transmitting data back. We also set up a plan to go over data monthly as a backup. Turns out Rotom could focus up long enough to learn how to send and receive messages, transmit informational data, and more. She did however have her own little spin in the form of her moaning for notifications.
"Well that should be everything. Thanks for the help today…" Kukui said as he guided me out the door. It only just occurred to him he never asked my name and I never gave it.
"Michael, sir." I provided for him as I poked around on Rotom's screen. She was giggling slightly as I sent a message to Mallow asking for more details about Lillie's welcome home party.
"Michael. I hope to see you when the semester starts. Have you thought about attending the Pokegirl School?" He questioned and I paused. Maybe he could provide some insight?
"Yes sir. I would like to attend but I don't know how to apply." I said and he lit up.
"Oh it's super easy. How about a week or two before the semester starts you drop by for a tour of the campus? Principal Oak and I would love to show you around. I'm sure your friends could tag along and show their own favorite spots!"
"That sounds great, Professor. Do I need to bring my parents…?" I probed to see if I did indeed need a guardian to sign off. Unsurprisingly he nodded his head.
"You should only need one guardian signature but it would be better if both your parents could come with. That way we can Sleep Talk them with the worst stuff, you know?" He said with a carefree smile on his face. I grimaced, of course you needed a guardian to sign off on important papers. Who would just let some kid sign themselves up for classes?
I tried to not let the discomfort show on my face and bow to Kukui. "It was good to meet you Professor. I hope I can work for you in the future."
He nodded and patted me on the shoulder as I left his house. I let out a deep sigh on his porch. My new phone floated up to my face. The eyes actually had a bit of concern in them.
"You okay, Master? You seem a little down when talking about your mom and dad?"
"Yeah, it's…complicated Rotom. I might give you the rundown one day but not now." Rotom pouted at that before she moaned. I could feel the headache that notification was going to bring me before she read out the message.
"Hello, is this Mr. Michael? I hope I'm not disturbing you. This is Lillie, Mallow's friend? She gave me your number to send you the address."
"Wow she's pretty uptight, want me to loosen her up a bi- HEY!" Rotom yelped as I snatched her out of the air.
"Yes this is Michael. Mallow told me about her plans. What time should I show?"
"Oh, wonderful! Please arrive at 1. The pre show for the League will start at 2, however I think it would be good to have a little socializing time before!"
"Will do. See you then." I let Rotom go as she licked my hand.
"Bleh. You need a bath, Master." I rolled my eyes at her, not my fault I didn't have hot running water. "So there something going on? Something we gotta see this Lillie girl for?"
"A party Friday. Yes you can come," I cut her off before she could ask. "Before all that though I should earn a little today. What other PokeQuests we got?" Rotom threw up a salute as she opened the app.
"Hmmm, looks like a whole lotta nothing deliveries. Couple of people requested you specifically for whatever reason." She displayed the quests on her screen. Requested me? Why?
"Go ahead and accept them. If they want me to do them it might be a good tip." She nodded and I saw her accept the quests before plugging the information into her own GPS.
"Shall we head out, Master?"
"Yeah one thing. None of that Master stuff. Makes me feel weird." I asked Rotom. I should have expected it but I saw the smirk form instantly. I almost turned around and demanded Kukui extract the Ghost.
"Would you prefer Daddy?"

Pancham was hungry. And bored. And lost.
She was still on the trail of Sensei and her Senpais but she was still getting turned around. She had been walking for 3 days at this point. Her first day hadn't been great. She had gotten turned around and walked in circles and ended up back at the bluffs. Boss Pangoro was really surprised to see her again.
The last 2 days have been somewhat better. The pink ribbon she had tied around her left ear still had Sensei's scent. It had led her to this part of the forest and she was hoping it would lead to Sensei's den. There was a problem however.
Sensei must cross here a lot. His scent is everywhere. Pancham thought as she walked through the Berry Grove. The Pecha and Cheri trees had his scent all over them but it was faded and crossed. It was basically a maze to pick through all the different smells. Pancham sighed as she sat down. The cool breeze on her skin felt so good. Maybe she should just close her eyes for a bit…
She woke up when her head hit the ground. She rubbed some of the sleep out of her eyes as she sat up. She looked around confused before panicking.
Oh no! How long did I sleep?! The shadows had moved. That's good right? She started sniffing desperately to remember the scent. Thankfully it was still there and she sighed. Sensei would get so mad at me…sleeping when I need to be moving. No more, I will find Sensei. Pancham pumped her fists as she riled herself up.
She continued her march down the riverbank. It was calm and clear so she could see the little fishies. She shook her head, focus! The forest eventually gave way to a large field. It was the prettiest thing Pancham had ever seen. Flowers of all colors swayed in the wind. Bug Pokegirls flitted around drinking nectar and playing. Pancham started prancing through the field. There was just so much to do! She got low and watched a couple of Cutiefly's drink nectar from a group of flowers. She took a breath and frowned. Not Senpai.
She tried finding Senpai among the different Bug Types but she was slowly losing hope. Taking a seat by the water, a depressed cloud surrounded her. She was about to cry when a little stream of water hit her face. Sputtering she looked at the water to see a blue Pokegirl smiling at her. Her sisters poked their own heads up and spat some water at her. Pancham smiled. Playmates!
Pancham dove into the water, wrapping the first Pokegirl into a hug. The girls squealed as the wrestling match began. The blue girl had the advantage, her skin was moist and slippery, the water sliding right off her form. Pancham's fur was instantly soaked, weighing her down significantly. However Pancham had something to even the playing field. She was a Fighting Type, and they were the masters of muscles.
The end was expected, Pancham celebrated from on top of the blue girl. She had been able to flip the girl onto her back and allowed Pancham to sit on her stomach. Her thighs pinned blue girls arms to her side and allowed her to keep leverage. The blue girl struggled for a second underwater before pouting. Pancham smiled and got off her before claiming her prize, a deep kiss.
"Poliwag~" The Pokegirl moaned as they separated. Pancham giggled as she felt the hands of the other Poliwags (what cute names!) started gliding over her wet fur. She was about to steal another kiss when a deep croak resonated.
"Poliwhirl." A much larger blue skinned amphibian girl rose from the mud. She looked at the newcomer playing with her brood before blinking. "Whirl? Poliwhirl." You're one of Pangoro's troop. What brings a cutie like you out this far?
"Pancham, Cham, Cham! Pancham!" You know Boss Pangoro?! That's awesome! Who are you Mrs. Froggy?
Oi, don't Mrs. me. I'm not that old. Me and your boss used to run in the same circles. We drifted after my brood was born and she evolved. That still doesn't answer my question, kid.
Hey! I'm not a kid! I'm mature! Sensei even made me strong enough to take on Magmar! Even Boss struggled against Magmar! Pancham puffed her cheeks up. She was totally strong!
Ah, don't think much about it, kid. I've been kicking around longer than you've been hatched. Who's this Sensei you're talking about? Poliwhirl croaked out. Must be pretty special if he could make a runt into a heavy hitter.
Sensei is great! He taught me how to control my body, how to put my energy behind attacks! Him, Senpai Cutiefly and Senpai Vulpix are super duper strong. Pancham insisted.
Poliwhirl blinked. A Trainer with a Cutiefly and Vulpix? Able to turn a runt into a fighter? Sounds like the one upstream. Oh, that guy. You're not far actually. He's pretty close by. Poliwhirl croaked out. She had to lean back as the runt suddenly got in her face, putting on her best intimidating look.
You know where Sensei is?! You better tell me, or else…or else… or else I'll show you how strong I am! Pancham postured. Poliwhirl just rolled her eyes before pushing the Panda girl back.
Sheesh, kid. I don't mind telling ya. They live just upstream. Just follow the water up, there's a Magikarp that lives near a waterfall. She probably knows if they're still there.
Really?! Pancham asked with stars in her eyes, Thanks Mrs. Froggie! You're the best! The Panda girl gave her a hug before sprinting upstream. She heard Mrs. Froggie call out but she ignored it. Her nose was in overdrive, she could definitely tell Sensei wandered this path a lot. She couldn't believe she was gonna find him again!
SEEEEEENNNNNSSSSSSEEEIIIIIIIIII! Pancham yelled at she broke through the tree line. She landed in an open grotto. She could definitely tell humans had been here. The stream was dividing the grotto in half and seemed to be dedicated to certain things. The left side was clear but heavily damaged. Rocks, trees, and bushes were damaged by physical attacks and the signs of unnatural ice was evident.
The other side was definitely more organized. There was a table set up with a grill next to it. Chairs were folded nicely under the table. There was an entrance to a cave on this side that was covered by a tarp, support sticks in front to create a covered walkway. She could smell Sensei and her Senpais all over this clearing. She was about to walk into the camp when a stream of water landed in front of her feet. She jumped back and scanned the area. There was nothing around. Only Fish Pokegirl lazing in the water.
Pancham blinked as the fish. She was floating with a blank look on her face. Did that water come from her?
Pancham tried to take a few steps further into the clearing only to have the fish duck into the water. She came back a second later and spat water at Pancham. "Pancham!" Hey! What's the big idea?!
"Magi~" You're in my territory. Please leave.
No way! Sensei scent is all over this place! I'm not leaving till I see Sensei again!
The Magikarp stared deep into Pancham's eyes. And stared. And stared….
SAY SOMETHING! Pancham yelled at the fish. Magikarp nodded before pointing to the cave's entrance.
You seem okay. Wait there. He'll be back at some point.
With that, the ginger mermaid dove back underwater. Pancham stared at the ripples for a few minutes before she relaxed. Pancham looked to the cave's entrance before sneaking up. She smirked as she kept low to the ground.
Sensei…get ready…HERE I AM!
Pancham jumped into the middle of the cave. She had a soft landing on the large sleeping bag but there was no warm Sensei hug to catch her. Shaking her head she took a look around the space. The sleeping bag was in the center of the dirt hovel. A number of baskets were set against the far wall. A rack of clothes set next to them alongside a weird looking tool. A frown painted her face as she realized there was no one to greet her. She sniffed the air, their scents were all over this place, especially on the bag.
There was also a sweet scent in the air. She followed the smell to the baskets. When she opened her eyes sparkled. A feast of berries were sitting inside the basket. All these berries! Sensei must be really good at gathering food!
Pancham decided to dig for a meal. She was very hungry from all the searching. Sensei surely gathered all this food to welcome her! She smiled as she popped berry after berry into her mouth. The sweet juices ran down and mixed into her fur but she didn't care. It was just so good! Soon she felt her claws scratched the bottom of the basket. She frowned for a moment before a big yawn overtook her.
Sensei will be back soon. I should stay…awake…show…him…

Cicadas were screaming by the time I headed home. It was a long, long day. Since leaving Kukui's place Rotom had been absolutely exhausting. Everything was being documented, from places we went to people we talked too. I had a fun time explaining to Anela why my phone was floating, orange and flirty.
The brightside is I could already see a bit of the phone's influence on her. I hadn't had the chance to ask Kukui about Ghost Type psychology but I doubt a prankster like Rotom would be acting the way she was. She was taking pictures, notes and descriptions of Pokegirls, accessing data on the Internet to supplement, and she really enjoyed getting direct conversations going. I just wish she would stop asking people their dick or tit sizes.
I looked towards the floating phone as she got information on a Butterfree. They seemed to be at the point of taking pictures if the way Butterfree was posing with her chest was any indication. Rotom seemed to like that and gave a salute to the Bug type before coming back to me.
"Have fun?" I asked as she settled near my head.
"Did you know they have to finger plants to get their favorite nectar?" Rotom said excitedly. I rolled my eyes as she continued, "This whole research thing is easy! Pokegirls just tell you what you wanna know!"
"Well others can't really ask directly unless it's a Psychic Type. Still I'm glad you're happy."
"Still how come we're all the way out here? Shouldn't we be going to your home?" Rotom asked and I braced myself. Here's hoping she will take this better than I'm assuming.
"We are heading home. I live out here." I explained to the sentient phone. She was visibly confused, even going so far as to display question marks.
"But why? Do your parents live out here for research purposes? Data suggests family is very important to humans, especially Alolans."
"Well, that's the thing. I don't have a family. My Pokegirls are my family and we've been living alone out here for a little over a month."
"What what what?! That's incredibly dangerous! There are countless carnivorous Pokegirls in this area! Not to mention the dangers of temperature, weather, DISEASES-"
"Rotom, listen. Not everything is black and white. My situation is very different. I know you know that sometimes it's better to just leave it alone. I promise you that we'll be okay out here. Hell, you're probably joining up at a great point." I hefted the groceries we had bought, "It's not like we're starving, the clearing is safe, and I'm relatively sure that Cutiefly and Vulpix outclass the majority of Pokegirls around her."
"But…shouldn't I report that you're living alone? You said you have no parents. Aren't humans very protective of their young for many years?" I could see the gears working behind her eyes. Her natural psychology of being a Ghost Type Pokegirl was crashing into the logic and programming of the phone she was occupying. Maybe that's something to bring up to Kukui. Who knows how much of her concern is genuine versus how much is driven by what data she's passively pulling off the internet.
"Under normal circumstances, yes. However, I am a Pokegirl Trainer. I'm all but emancipated under the eyes of the Regions. Trust me, we have it under control. And if you're still worried I have you on my side now too. I trust you so will you trust me?" I could see the conflict in her eyes. Her new need to satisfy logic crashed against her love of compliments.
In the end praise won out and she gave a spin and morphed a hand to salute. "You can count on me Master! I'll make sure you have enough knowledge to ensure you thrive out here!" With that she started rattling off her searches for survival tactics. I smiled and slightly tuned her out, it was a majority of stuff I already knew.
We entered the clearing above the waterfall and climbed down. I was prepared to just go ahead and get dinner ready when Rotom blared out a low klaxon alarm.
"MASTER! I'm detecting a presence in the cave!" Rotom stage whispered to me while looking at the entrance. The way she was shivering made me on edge. Whatever it is, it's enough to scare her. I gently set the groceries down as I pulled Vulpix's ball.
I scanned the clearing for any sign of whatever was in my cave now. The only thing I saw was Magikarp floating on the surface, sunbathing her assets. From the way she hadn't even acknowledged me I assumed she was asleep. At least she's still breathing. I crept towards the cave as slow as possible. Rotom floated behind my head throwing out possible suggestions as to what had taken over.
I entered the cave halfway expecting to have to throw Vulpix as a pissed off Ursaring came to tear my head off. Instead I heard a soft snoring. I found a Pancham curled on my sleeping bag, her leaf fallen out beside her mouth. I was confused. Where the hell did you come from, little one? That's when I saw the pink ribbon tied around her ear. I blinked and got a closer look at her as Rotom got her own examination.
"A Pancham! They're mischievous little pranksters but typically follow what others do. She's a cute one too, but why's a runt away from her troop?"
Runt? I then saw how unscathed she was. Almost all wild Pokegirls had a few scars. Fighting Types and Normal always had most due to needing to throw their bodies into the line of fire. This Pancham was largely unscarred which would mean…she was protected. By a Pangoro that wouldn't let her fight.
I sighed, "Don't worry Rotom, I know this Pancham." I bent down as Rotom started sputtering and got a closer look. She was certainly the little Panda Pokegirl I had helped a few days ago. She was absolutely filthy, not from the dirt of her journey but because she must have helped herself to our berry stash. I grimaced as I knew that would certainly wreck a bit of the food planning I had but it wasn't a terrible loss. I put a hand on her shoulder and it was definitely sticky from the amount of berries she had gorged on.
"Wake up, little bit." I shook her shoulder until she stirred. I let her go as she sat up confused. She was blinking the sleep out of her eyes when she finally saw me. "Have a good nap?" I asked a bit sarcastically. Her eyes widened and before I could react I was tackled into a hug.
"Pancham! Pan, Pancham, pan, pan, Pancham!" I smiled as she let her excitement be known. I gave a head pat as she tightened her hug. Must have made a really good impression if she was willing to leave after getting her leaf back.
I did have to speak up when I felt my spine creak under the pressure she was exerting, "I know you're excited but maybe don't cripple me?" I said with a bit of strain. She lessened the pressure but definitely didn't let go. I pulled my pokeballs and released Cutiefly and Vulpix for a bit of help. They were confused for a second before I saw Vulpix's nose twitch and her smile grew soft and fond. Cutiefly gasped and did her best impression of a face hugger. That did give me a bit of breathing room as Pancham turned her affection to the other Pokegirls.
I ended up having to pick Pancham up and set her beside Vulpix in order to get our dinner ready. The loss of a basket of berries wasn't detrimental in the long run; it did make dinner a bit harder, especially since it was Pecha berries. Poor Pancham got a crash course in dodging Fairy Type attacks once Cutiefly learned of their loss. Still dinner of fried rice and fresh juice was served before sunset.
I did have a slight dilemma. I considered excluding Pancham from dinner since she had already ate but the way she drooled over the smell I couldn't bring myself to be that cruel. I almost handed her my plate when Rotom informed me of an interesting fact.
"Master, you may give 80% of my plate to Pancham. My species have slow digestive tracts and often only need to supplement our diet with electricity for optimal survival."
"Wait, so you're saying you only need to eat like once a week?" I was very confused as her body, while not morphed with an appliance, was definitely human shaped. She displayed a number of Pokegirls that were half woman, half snake.
"Many reptilian Pokegirls have slow acting digestive systems. This allows for long stretches of time without food. Famous examples of this are Ekans, Arbok, and Serviper. Not to mention it's great for their sexy figures." She changed the display to more x rated pictures of the Snake Pokegirls.
I shook the image of snake tiddies out of my head as I processed, "So what about the electricity? How does that play a role?"
"Oh that's simple! All Electric Types need some form of electrical charge in their diet. The exact wattage depends on the specific Pokegirl but the rule is the same. Like most other Pokegirls need water, we need that spark to get our loins going."
That settled my questions for now. Pancham didn't really care for the logistics of how her plate was filled, only that it tasted good and she got taught how to use a spoon by Senpai Vulpix. Dinner was energetic with the addition of Pancham. Pancham loved to talk and Cutiefly and Rotom loved to talk as well. While I could only understand Rotom's side of things it was nice to see everyone get along.
After dinner Pancham and Cutiefly were able to drag Vulpix into a game of tag. Rotom decided it was far more important to document every angle of them playing. It didn't matter that a majority of shots were lewd and erotic, it was important research. That left me all alone to clean the table but I didn't mind. Magikarp seemed to wake up around now and I was distracted by her asking for my hand. I was confused until she placed it on top of her head and I was indisposed as I pet the mermaid.
"Pancham! Pan, Pancham!" Pancham landed on my back and I thought she wanted a piggy back ride. Jesus Christ I forgot she's strong! I was picked up around my waist by the much smaller Pokegirl and brought to the center of the clearing. She had apparently already had Vulpix and Cutiefly in the positions she wanted as they were already seated. I was left standing with them on either side. I looked to Rotom for an explanation but she was too busy taking pictures. And giggling a little…I don't like that.
I turned to Pancham who was looking at me with stars in her eyes. She then got a serious look and took a deep breath. Finally she got down on her knees and bowed low to the ground.
"Pancham, Cham, pan, Pancham." She vocalized catching Vulpix and Cutiefly by surprise. I was left confused until Rotom explained.
"Pancham see you as her Sensei and then as Senpais. She wants to train under you to get even stronger. You must have made her real hot and bothered to make her leave her troop for you."
I was stunned as I realized just how much of an impact I had made on the young Panda Pokegirl. I didn't know she would take the help so seriously. I thought she would be happy with being back with her family and being able to fight with them. Then again…It's like Nurse Joy said. Pokegirls get stronger with humans because we take care of them. They can devote themselves to our shared strength because they can trust us to support them. If Pancham wants to get even stronger it makes sense to find the one who accelerated the growth in the first place
My decision was made. I kneeled down and placed my hand on her shoulder. She looked up at me as I smiled. "You don't have to bow to me. If you want to be stronger I would love to train you." I held out a Pokeball towards her, which brought tears to her eyes.
"If you want me, then we can go to the top together." Pancham's tears were flowing as she nodded. I held the ball out to her and she tapped her forehead to the button. The red light enveloped her and sucked her into her new home.
The ball shook once, twice and then clicked. A second later her display picture appeared. She had opted for a Superman like pose, legs spread and fists on her hips. Her wide smile and closed eyes just displayed her true friendly demeanor.
I released her and was immediately wrapped in a cheering hug. She quickly turned to Cutiefly and Vulpix and wrapped them into their own hugs. I smiled at the sight of all 3 Pokegirls displays of affection. Well, it was a bit unexpected but I'm glad. She'll be a good member of the family. She broke away and crashed her lips into mine, Yeah, she's gonna fit right in.

A Study of Ghost Pokegirls and Their Unique Behaviors
Ghost Type Pokegirls is one of the oldest known Type of Pokegirl. However it is one of the least understood, barring the recently classified Fairy Type. Ghost Types are broad and varied but all have a variety of common characteristics that make up the type.
All ghost types possess an ability to change from a physical form and ethereal form. This ethereal form is what distinguishes Ghost Types from other Types. This form allows for a variety of abilities including, but not limited to, flight, invisibility, phasing through solid objects and even possession of objects and living beings. These ethereal forms all maintain a similar shape and size to the physical form of Ghost types. There are however notable expectations, the most notable being Golurk, who actually leaves their physical form behind.
The most interesting application of this form is obviously the ability to phase through solid mass. While many attempts have been made to study this all but physic defying feat, the nature of this ability has been shrouded in mystery for a long time. Attempts were also hindered by the Ghost types themselves being unable or unwilling to disclose the information. Some effects have been recorded in spite of difficulties. Famously the effect their phasing has on living beings is a drastic increase of hormones that directly lead to increased feelings of lust and actions related to it.
Ghost types are notably difficult to train or even coexist with. They tend to have a penchant for pranks and mischief. Their ethereal form allows for Ghost Type Pokegirls to indulge in their hobbies. In absence of those traits they often exhibit a malevolent streak. This often leads to conflict between humans and other Pokegirls. A scorned Ghost Type is almost impossible to deal with as their abilities make capture and rehabilitation a very low chance. Still Pokegirl Rangers and the Leagues maintain a dedicated team to deal with outbreaks of malevolent Ghost Pokegirls.
Ghost Pokegirls have been involved with many cases of attacks on humans. While physical harm is extremely rare in cases of Ghost attacks it is because Ghost Types have a different style of harm. Their ability to be invisible, intangible and near impossible to detect makes them perfect ambush predators. They make use of their possession ability to take control of their target. They will then use the body of their victim to perform degrading acts in order to ruin their reputation. Victims state they had no control and that they would be a "passenger in their own bodies" as they were made to perform brazen sexual acts or crimes. Dedicated Psychic trainers are on all police staff to aid in interrogations when suspects employ a "Ghost Type Defense"
Notable Ghost Type Trainers, such as Phoebe of Hoenn Elite Four or Agatha of the Kanto Elite Four, state that in order to train and manage Ghost Pokegirls Trainers must be willing to be the target of pranks, random sexual advances, and the occasional private possession. They also state that it is a bonus if you are able to laugh at yourself while maintaining a firm boundary of what are acceptable pranks.
