Whew boy. I'll be honest a number of factors delayed this chapter. Writer's block, work troubles, it wasn't easy. This chapter is also mostly dialogue which I personally believe I still struggle with. Please don't hesitate to (nicely) rip me apart in the comments lol.

Also let's be honest, how often do you get to publish on a leap day?

As always I hope you enjoy!

Beep….beep…beep…

"Coffee?" Abe, the owner of the Cafe asked.

"Thank you." The man answered in a gruff voice, holding his cup up for the refill. He was seated in the corner of the restaurant facing the door. Good for observation. He thought as he sipped. He was an older man, just entering his early 50's but he sure felt a lot older. He kept his black hair high and neat and made sure his natural bold eyebrows were trimmed and groomed. He wore a high collared brown investigator coat over his black suit, even in the heat of the Alolan climate. It does help distract when questioning witnesses.

He sighed as he read some of the notes he had made throughout the day. The Alolan people were both extremely forthcoming and frustratingly tight lipped. They would talk your ear off about anything and everything but never about anything you needed to hear. It was all white noise with the occasional reference to his actual target.

The double doors of the kitchen swung open and a girl exited them. She was a young girl with green eyes and hair that was pulled back into twin tails. Her overalls paired well with her sun kissed skin and she carried a Bounsweet on one shoulder and a duffle bag on the other. She was smiling but Looker could see the emotions she was trying to hide. Anxiety, fear and depression boiled together as she strode out the front door.

"Taken to perving on kids, Looker?" A voice just loud enough spoke up, tinged with just a bit of humor, brought his attention to the table next to his. How the hell? I didn't even see the door open.

Ignoring the jab he spoke, "How were things on your end?" He asked, ever the serious professional.

The woman frowned and stood to join him. She wore a similar black suit but had forgone the brown investigator coat. Her long lilac hair had been pulled back into a ponytail to keep it out of her similarly colored eyes. She gathered her tea and cake with gloved hands to join her coworker at his table. "Booooo. You could at least joke back." She said indignantly.

"Maybe when we're not on a mission." He said.

"But we're always on a mission!" She lamented. "I mean come onnnn, this is the first time we've been back here in a while. Lighten up!" A disinterested raised eyebrow was her only response. "Ugh, fine."

She straightened up before adopting her serious business demeanor. "The Aether Foundation was a bust. I went through their records and data and they didn't have anything over the past 2 months that we don't already know."

"Nothing?" He asked, concerned.

"Nothing. We've only had 3 incidents this quarter and all were accounted for on our end and theirs." She pulled up the relevant files on a pda. "A temporal burst in Unova signaled another Celebi arrival. Thankfully no Travelers with that one but even if there had been Celebi is pretty good about grabbing anything or anyone it accidentally brings and returning them."

"Small mercies when dealing with time travel." He commented.

"Right?" She said, "An Ultra Wormhole opened in the Charicific Valley in Johto, thankfully no Fallers in that one. I can't imagine what someone would think waking up to several hundred angry Charizards, even if they're sexy in this world." She muttered the last part under her breath. That was something Looker could never imagine or hope to empathize with his coworker over. She came from a world where all Pokegirls were called "Pokemon'' and were far more monstrous than he could imagine. Still, she was dropped into an unfamiliar yet similar enough world that she was able to not only survive but thrive. Looker could only hope the current situation their investigation had turned up was a fluke.

"And the last?" He asked and she winced slightly.

"Another Wormhole. This one did have a Faller but they were dropped into a Garchomp's nest. By the time our team got there…" She said tensely. Looker nodded, not wanting to press it.

"How about you?" She asked after a moment of silence. "Get anything out of the locals?"

"Nothing truly ground shaking." He admitted. He pulled his notes out. "Appeared around 2 months ago, walked into the PokeGirl center and promptly registered as a Trainer, presumably under false information, and has been running around doing Poke Quests for money when not bullying the local Trainer Battle scene or hanging with a group of known friends."

"Wow, so dry. Couldn't at least find out who he's dating?" She joked. He gave her a blank stare to which she just rolled her eyes. "How do we know this kid isn't a runaway again?"

"He claims to have a family, however no one has seen them or even heard of them. No local registration of immigrants to vote or certifying family owned PokeGirls." He said. "And according to the Recon team, who scanned all footage of incoming cargo and passenger ships, he didn't appear on any of them."

"Flights?" She proposed.

"No confirmed flying PokeGirl and if he registered for the first time on the island, he bought the ticket with what money?"

She sighed and put an arm up on the table to support her head. After a few seconds, "Why don't we just ask him?"

"What?" Looker looked aghast.

"What? It's a decent plan." She countered. She started counting off fingers, "If he's a runaway, we'll be able to tell pretty quickly. If he's a Faller, he'll probably let us know so he can get some actual support in a foreign world. And if he's a Traveler, same thing!

Looker sipped his coffee as he considered the option. It was technically against protocols but with a mystery this big, sometimes protocols are bendable.

"When he wakes up we'll interview him." He stated.

"Come onnnnn, admit it." She prodded with a knowing grin. "You always love a good mystery."

"I don't know what you mean, Anabel."

Beep… Beep… Beep…

Kahuna Hala sighed as he heard the knock on his door. He knew it was only a matter of time before he came by.

"Coming!" Hala shouted as he groaned his slight pain away. Need to see about those arthritis medicines, I guess.

He opened the door with his usual stoic smile. At his door was a young man with dark blue hair held back by a red headband. An red, yellow and gold jacket emblazoned with a Pokeball superseded over a pair of silver wings. His shorts ended just below the knee showing off toned calves from the physical activity his occupation required. A bulky device sat clipped to his sleeve, the trademark of his occupation.

Behind him stood a mouse like PokeGirl. She was short at only 3ft tall including her long ears. She had blue coloring on her cheeks that formed minus signs and blue tips to her long ears. Cream colored fur covered most of her body including her perky B cup breasts and an adorable butt, which had a small blue tail sitting above it. She was behind her partner, licking an ice cream cone with a happy face.

"Sorry for the delay Kahuna Hala. Emergency pit stop." Lunick laughed as Minun waved.

"Haha!" Hala let out a hearty laugh. "Don't worry, I know how important an ice cream break can be. Please come in."

"Thank you, Kahuna." Lunick strode. As they took their seat in the living room, Hariyama lumbered into the room offering tea. After being served, Lunick got into business. "I'm sorry to cut to the chase but I hope you understand why I'm here."

Hala sighed and nodded. He looked the PokeGirl Ranger up and down and once again wondered if he truly had made a good decision. The Rangers were one of the many international organizations that always sought to expand their operations. Alola was just one of many holdouts until a few years ago. The Rangers had been petitioning for years and the Kahuna's had finally decided to put it to a vote.

Pahū, Akala Island's Kahuna, had always been a hard-line traditionalist. He pointedly refused to consider any help from an Organization that wasn't Alolan in origin and certainly not one that, in his words, "interfered with the natural wonder and lives of our PokeGirls." Sofu, Poni Island's Kahuna, was particularly for the expanding of any services that could be offered to the island, regardless of who or what they were. He saw the Rangers as just another way to help the people just like he did when he campaigned for the Leagues' Poke Quests and for the Aether Foundation. Nanu, the youngest of them and Ula'Ula Island's Kahuna, had actually abstained. His sister was an active Ranger in another region and having served with the International Police, he had extensive ties to the Rangers.

Hala had debated for many days but had eventually voted in favor. He had been swayed by the prospect of an organization that worked in service of the PokeGirls and the almost altruistic nature of the Rangers. He never truly regretted his vote, after all Ranger patrols reduced Wild incursions, reduced police overhead (much to the joy of Jenny), had allowed him to focus on the truly big problems of the island and were generally a boon. However there was one thing he disagreed with the Rangers on.

"I'm sorry Hala but you know our policy." Lunick said soft but firmly. "In the event of an attack on a human a PokeGirl will be put down. I'm required to attempt to work with you, as the local leader, but that doesn't mean we have too. I know how you feel about the culling orders."

"I know but I cannot support the notion that PokeGirls need to be hunted down and murdered." Hala stated firmly. "They are living creatures, they have their own needs for survival and territories to protect. They have their own wills and emotions."

"They also control fire, ice and electricity and often have natural weapons that can rip through metal." Lunick countered.

"And there have been reports of other wild PokeGirls acting strange during the storm. Damage to power lines, roads and other human constructions. We are lucky that there has only been one injury but what about those incidents? Your policy states they must be relocated but we don't even know every PokeGirl that attacked during that storm. And furthermore, where will they be relocated? The incidents span the island. Are you suggesting we roundup random species and ship them over to Poni or Akala? Lastly, we still need to investigate if what the Psychics under the Aether Foundation is true." Psychic Energy embroiled in the storm and on such a large scale. Who or what could have done something like that?

Lunick sighed and rubbed his face, "Look, Hala, I respect the hell out of you. Is there any way we can work together on this instead of me pissing off the most powerful Trainer on the island?" Hariyama had been harassed into being a jungle gym for the smaller PokeGirl but was keeping a close eye on the human. She might not be able to be controlled by that…thing he had and the Minun currently climbing on her shoulders might exhibit free will but she wouldn't hesitate to slam the Mouse out of their home.

Hala leaned back and closed his eyes. He sighed as worked through his options and the gravity of the situation. Wild PokeGirls went wild the world over during the storm. Aether Foundation provided a report from their own Psychic types under their care that there was Type Energy inside the storm. Outside of the obvious situation of the young man, we got off rather lightly with just some property damages. If only I could get a better idea of the PokeGirl during the attack. Lethal attacks on humans are uncommon, only occurring when a dramatic shift has happened, like a habitat destruction or long term poaching. What caused the Gumshoos to attack and how did it seem after the attack? A cry from the Minun drew his eye. She was creatings small sparks from her cheeks to simulate fireworks. Hariyama smiled as she encouraged the young girl. Hala's eyes widened as he realized.

The Rotom. The young man carried a Rotom phone! An idea formed in his head. "I would like more information if you don't mind." Hala said firmly. "If my memory isn't failing me yet then the boy has a Rotom companion in his phone."

"Wow, that's kinda cool. My cousin in Paldea says everyone has one." Lunick blinked. "But why is that important?"

"The Rotom is tied to a research project by Kukui. As such she is recording almost always." Hala expanded.

"And if she's recorded the incident then maybe we can see if it was a malicious attack or…"

"The effects of the storm. We could have a chance to see the PokeGirl before, during and after the attack. I have been a Kahuna for a long time. I have seen my fair share of PokeGirls who want to kill humans for the sake of killing humans, I do believe I can tell when one just wants to kill.."

Lunick sighed. "Yeah and I've seen enough rampaging PokeGirls to tell if she was just lashing out. Still…what are you gonna do if she is a thrill killer?"

"Then you need not worry about tracking it." Hala stood and Lunick gulped. The shadow casted by the imposing man was shrouded by the afternoon sun. "I, as Kahuna, will take the necessary steps to secure my island as the Tapus have ordained."

Beep…beep…beep

Mallow's mind was a thunderstorm as she walked through the streets to Hau'oli General. The duffel bag she was carrying was ladened down with food. She had been dealing with too much stress lately and practically emptied the Cafe's walk in. Dad had finally put his foot down after the 3rd straight day of her fixing a full 3 course meal at 3 in the morning. He didn't want her losing sleep, cutting into profits, or more importantly, wasting all she cooked.

It's fine dad. There's a couple that will eat it all. After all, their Trainer is in the ICU…

Mallow stopped in front of the sliding glass doors. Panels of glass and a little black welcome mat had never looked so intimidating. It wasn't entirely her fault. She didn't like hospitals before but after her mom…

She slapped her cheeks. Arghhh, why is it so hard?!

A pair of dainty hands wrapped around her back. She didn't flinch or cry out because the smell of sea water and lotus met her nose. A few tears welled up as she grabbed Lana's hands with her own.

"Shhh. It's okay…" Lana whispered as she held onto her friend.

"Thanks Hun." Mallow whispered back. They finally parted and Mallow turned to face her friend. A blank look crossed her face as she saw what Lana was carrying. "Uhhh…what is that?"

Lana was carrying a full size air mattress, still inflated. Her right hand held a bag filled with blue clothes and sheets. Her left was a bag of bagels from a bakery.

"Bagels?" Lana said unsure.

"NOT THE BAGELS!" Mallow exclaimed, pointing to the air mattress, "That!"

"Ohhh this." Lana looked over her shoulder. "Well I figured they wouldn't let us sleep in his bed so I figured this would be better than the couch or floor."

"What do you mean? We can't just camp out in his hospital room!" Mallow said.

"Why not? His PokeGirls can."

"Last time I checked you couldn't launch a Water Gun, Sei." A smirking voice said. The girls turned to the new arrival of Rapp. The pink punk had procured her own purple bag to bring to the party.

"Wanna share this tonight and find out?" Lana asked with a wink. Rapp blushed slightly before grinning.

"Now I knew I liked you for a reason." She held her fist up for a bump, which she got quickly, "Yeah anyways, they only let people camp out in the room if they're doing end of life care. Everyone else gets kicked out right at 7."

Mallow's throat tightened at the mention of… "Do…do you know if he's out of the ICU?" she asked with a dry mouth.

Rapp nodded gently, "Yeah. They moved him after they got the infection he got under control. Apparently dragging your friend through a few miles of mud and rain doesn't make for a clean wound."

"What did you bring him?" Lana asked, peeking into the bag Rapp was holding.

"Oh, a change of clothes." She answered. "He might not be awake right now or be cleared to leave but I figured clean clothes would be nice when he can." Lana pulled the graphic tee set on top of the bag.

"Teen Mortgage?"

"Band I found last month." Rapp answered.

"Togedeeeee!" A PokeGirl's cry caught Bounsweet's attention. She jumped from Mallow's shoulder with her own cry to hug one of her friends. Togedemaru exited her rolling form to catch the small Grass type to play.

"Hey guys!" Sophocles wasn't far behind the chubby Steel mouse girl. The boy was wearing his usual backpack but had a suspicious amount of cables coming out of it. Behind him was Kiawe and Charizard carrying their own bags. Charizard's wings twitched and itched at being on the ground for this long of a walk.

"You guys made it!" Mallow said.

"Yeah sorry about being late. Charizard and I hit a nasty up draft this morning during our milk run and it threw us off course." Charizard growled her own form of apology before looking up at the building, seeming staring through the walls.

"How's she doing?" Mallow asked in a soft voice.

"Better but not great." Kiawe grimaced. "When I told her what happened I think she blamed herself for not being there to help."

"Yeah she could have but what's done is done. I don't think anyone's in the business of throwing blame right now." Rapp said.

Kiawe nodded and looked around. "Tupp and Zipp not coming?" Rapp shook her head.

"Nah, said something about wanting to meet someone else." She looked away angrily. "Jerks act like that douche is more important than making sure your friend is okay." She whispered.

Mallow and Kiawe nodded in sympathy. Lana looked around, "I didn't bring enough mattress for everyone."

"I've been meaning to ask." Sophocles squinted at the plastic mattress.

"She thinks we're gonna be able to sleep in his room" Rapp rolled her eyes. "It'd be a wonder if we can get all this shit in there in the first place. What did you two bring him?"

"Hehe! A vital need for any trainer with my own genius!" He pulled a modified target out his bag. "This is the TE Output Gauge. Normally they can only give a rough estimate of Type Energy when hit with attack but with my modifications, Michael will know exactly how much power his PokeGirls are putting out down to the last kilojoules!"

"I brought him some MooMoo milk ice cream." Kiawe said, showing one of the containers. "I feel like mine is not nearly as impressive…"

"Eh, I think Cutiefly will like it at least." Mallow said.

"Not Cutiefly, remember." Lana reminded her. Mallow blinked and blushed. "Hehe, right sorry. I forgot."

"So we're just waiting on Princess?" Rapp asked.

"Yeah." Mallow said. "She's been really messed up since…she feels like she's responsible."

"Pfft. I get that but he didn't take the hit just for her to feel like crap. She'll get over it, she's tougher than she looks." Rapp said.

"Yeah but she's also…" Mallow trailed off as a van pulled up. A maid got out and opened the back door as Lillie exited the back of the van with a full cart of items. Potions, Pokeballs, revives, antidotes, and more were piled high on the buggy. Even held items like focus sashes and magnets were hanging off other items as the tower threatened to fall over. Lillie blinked as her friends stared in open mouth shock at her. Looking between them and her friends, she blushed sheepishly.

"Too much?"

Beep…beep…beep…

It was days after the storm that had caused chaos across the island and Hau'oli General Hospital was still on high alert. They didn't often have an emergency case where they had to immediately admit into the ICU for surgery and monitoring. Usually it was a nasty burn from a training accident with an ashamed looking PokeGirl next to them or a dumb teenager who had thought they were invincible right until they fell off their high Rapidash and broke a bone.

It had been touch and go for a long while. A blood test needed to be done before they could even give him what he needed for surgery. Immediately after that an infection had taken root and the doctors had prescribed an extremely aggressive antibiotic regimen. All the while police, officials and welfare workers hovered to get every scrap of information they could. The fact they still haven't found a legal guardian didn't spell good news.

A nurse recorded the final bits of information from the heart monitor, its slow steady beat assuring everyone that he wasn't quite gone yet.

After one last check she turned to the other 3 bodies in the room. "Alright, he's all yours again." The softy cheered as they rushed to their spots with their Trainer. Ice cold fur blanketed his left as petite muscles settled for his right. Finally the buzzing of incest wings died down as the last member who was still getting used to their new size ever so gently set herself on his chest, being mindful to not pressure his still healing wound. Medical technology might significantly speed up recover but it can't only do so much in a short time.

"Remember. No shenanigans. Nurse Chansey is always on standby." She said in a warning tone. The 3 PokeGirls nodded in quick panicked movements. Nurse Chansey was the PokeGirl partner of the head nurse. Both had worked in the war torn region of Orre and had seen their fair share of PokeGirls on a rampage because their Trainer was injured. Chansey had given them a harsh reality check and calmed them down enough they could be in the room.

Before she left the room the 4th and far more vocal hovered over to her. "Um, nurse I know I ask a lot but-"

"With how he's progressing, he'll probably be released to the regular floors tomorrow. So yes, you can go ahead and let everyone know." She said with a smile.

"Oh thank you!" The Rotom phone swirled in midair before zooming to join her group. After a few seconds the group was settled in for a restful sleep.

A few hours later they were fast asleep. The light breathing of the snow fox was completely drowned by the chainsaw from the fairy. Ignoring the wires and monitoring equipment, one could almost mistake it for a peaceful night at home.

A figure loomed over the group, her striking orange eyes never wavering from the human's face. Her ebony skin would have let her completely disappear into the darkness of the room were it not for the stark yellow feathers of her natural shields or the tall imposing warcrest of her orange hair.

Grand Mother Arceus. What is the meaning of this? Tapu Koko thought as she watched the sleeping group. This is not the Chosen you spoke of. That one has many years before they reach my shores. Who is this?

She did not expect an answer. The Creator was dismissive at best. Instead she merely traced the curves of his human face. Suddenly and without warning her shielded arm shot out, it's spear-like beak hovering just inches from the closed eyes. The movement was made with such grace it didn't even disturb the sleeping PokeGirls. I know you're not of this world. You might not reek like the creatures that once fell here but I know you do not belong. Whatever trouble and strife you could bring to my island I end right here and now. Her beak closed the distance ever so slowly.

Stop.

She retracted her arm as swift as her lightning. It had been a long time since she felt the presence of this one. She slowly turned to see the swirling mass of darkness covering the wall. She dared not flinch as 2 red eyes opened to stare at her.

This one is to be welcomed by order of Mother. Do make him comfortable, won't you Koko?

Yes, Lady Giratina. I will but if I could ask why? What is this human's purpose that the chosen cannot fill?

You presume yourself highly if you think you're owed an answer.

No, my lady. I didn't- A melodic yet dark chuckle cut her off.

Oh don't worry young Koko, I'm not upset. I love the bold and you certainly are the boldest of your kin. He will have his purpose and that is all you need to know.

Yes, my lady.

One more thing. Something powerful will enter your territory soon with her own creations. They are not to be touched but are to be contained. They will land on the land untouched by your humans. Spread the word to your sisters.

Tapu Koko nodded and the presence started to recede. The darkness swirled into itself until it was completely gone. Tapu Koko didn't move, didn't breathe until a loud snore from the pixie broke her trance. She spared a last look at the human before leaving. She climbed higher than the clouds as she made her way to Akala. She had a busy night and she had to make a pitstop before she left.

My Kahuna will not miss one.

Beep…beep…beep…

Her colony had been gone for months.

She remembered the days when she was a young Cutiefly. Her mother was the leader of the colony. She was beautiful, kind, and strong. She had a natural charisma that brought others close to her. It was only natural she would form a colony of her pre-evolution sisters. It was also only natural she would take a mate and have her own daughter.

She had many wonderful memories of those days. She remembered the days of tumbling through the soft grass with sunlight warming her rosy cheeks. Sleeping under her mother's powerful but soft arms. However, most of all, she remembered when her sisters had taught her how to fly. Once she had gotten a taste of that…that…freedom! It was intoxicating. She quickly was outstripping her older sisters in games, pulling tight rolls and dives. Her mother would just watch with a smile and giggle.

Then it all changed. Mother decided to move them. There was gonna be a beautiful field with flowers as yellow as her hair! So Mother gathered all the Cutiefly and led them through a cave. It was so pretty! The walls were just covered in really pretty rocks that caught as much light as they could.

Then one of the gems turned and looked at her and Cutiefly's memories turned dark. Her Mother had got her out of the way but the monster with shiny eyes had hit her. Mother fought really hard to protect her and her sisters. She even won!

But then…Mother didn't get up. She just…fell from the air.

Her sisters led her out of the cave but they didn't stick around for long after that. Cutiefly tried to take Mother's place as leader. She tried really hard to be positive but… one of her sisters told her to give it up. To follow them and find another leader.

Then she was alone. She started floating around after that. She didn't have a hard time finding food but finding friends was different. She got to meet a lot of different PokeGirls! Some had wings like her but were much bigger and more mature. Some had wings that were covered in soft little wings but they weren't very nice with their big hard noses. Some didn't even have wings!

But she was lonely. She kept meeting new friends but they never stuck around. That is until she met a really weird PokeGirl. She spotted her from across the field. She didn't have fur or wings or even sharp claws. It wasn't until she flew up to investigate she realized it was a human! Mother said that humans could make PokeGirls super duper strong! And if Cutiefly was strong then she could get her sisters back! She could get strong, thank the human and then leave to get a new bunch of sisters.

"I wanna be at the top of training PokeGirls like you."

She changed her mind. Michael was amazing! He was so nice to her and super smart! She wouldn't have thought to combine 2 attacks let alone using one to power the other! She also felt loved. Sure the first week or so he didn't know he needed to deliver her building sexual frustrations. Hell, she forgot about them in excitement. But after they visited the PokeGirl Center she never wanted for physical contact. She got all the hugs, kisses and cum she wanted. And she even got new sisters. Sure they didn't fly or collect nectar. Maybe one of them was really cold and one could crush stones as easily as bench them and one was always taking pictures of her pussy and ass (not that she minded, she always made sure she had her good side). But she had found her family because of Michael.

Michael's body hit the floor in a spray of red. The Gumshoos stared at her own in shock, as if not believing she had actually cut her best friend in half. Cutiefly felt the tears well in her eyes as the blonde human screamed and tried to hold Michael. Blood ran freely as it mixed with the torrential rain.

"Fly…" she whispered before she clenched her jaw. "FLY!" She shouted as she took off towards the bitch. She didn't notice the blue white light surrounding her. She didn't feel as her body grew in size and her wings doubled to accommodate the new weight. She didn't care as her hair grew to trail down her back and whip up as she flew. She ignored how her hips and breasts grew as her body began to resemble a desktop hourglass.

Her mind could only, only focus on that blood that dripped from her claws. She pulled her hands up and remembered what Michael had started training her on.

"Hey Rotom." Micheal asked as he massaged in between Cutiefly's wings. She was feeling sore after training with Vulpix today. Master had been pushing her to learn how to manipulate Normal Type energy externally and since Vulpix already knew Roar and Tail Whip, the two had been training all day. "Give me the rundown on Weather Ball again."

"Sure, Master. Weather Ball is a concentration of unstable Normal Type Energy. Most of the time Normal Type attacks are super stable but if you destabilize them, they can actually absorb latent energy from the surroundings. That's what Weather Ball does." She explained before she displayed a question mark on her screen. "I know you answered before but why are you trying to teach Cutiefly Weather Ball? I did a search and there's no record of a Cutiefly learning or using it."

"Well, it's mostly if they have to double battle." He said as he threaded his fingers through her head. "If they're on the field together, Vulpix will be able to power up Weather Ball with one of her own attacks. Plus, I wanna experiment with it to see if it interacts with any other field condition. Stuff like Grassy Terrain for example."

"Hmm I guess that makes sense. But that still doesn't mean she'd be able to learn it. I mean you're not even using a Technical Machine to give her a basis. You're doing it all from scratch!" She said.

"Heh, maybe. But if anyone can pull it off, it's my girl, ain't that right?" Michael leaned over and smiled down at her. That smile that made her heart flutter and a blush appear when she thinks about how much her Trainer adores her.

"Fly!" She cheered as he laughed with her.

The swirling white energy extended past her fingertips as she poured as much energy she could into the attack. The falling rain impacted the energy, mixing and spinning the ball faster and faster. It turned from milky white to bright blue and flattened until it was a violently spinning saw blade of Water Type energy.

"Ribombee!" She shouted in a deeper voice than normal, launching the Weather Ball. Gumshoos didn't have time to dodge as the saw of water and she roared in pain and rage as it carved a deep trench in her chest to match her victim. The force of the attack carried her back several feet until she landed against a tree with a sickening crack. Gumshoos stumbled to her feet and started limping away, attempting to hold her lacerated chest together. The wild PokeGirls began retreating from the group but Ribombee began charging another two Weather Balls, lethal intent in her eyes. The sound of choking from Pancham's direction and the growing cold front told her that her sisters were already taking their revenge for their Master, their Trainer, and their family.

However she wouldn't get to finish her revenge. Red light hit the small of her back and she felt the pull of her pokeball. She found herself inside the miniature forest the pokeball had created for her comfort. The holographic sky turned red as the emergency lock forced her stay put.

Ribombee sank to her butt and huddled against the nearest tree. Hugging her legs, she felt the tears start running down her face. She was finally strong. She was a Ribombee now. She could start her own colony. She was big enough she could take a mate, even Michael!...

…So why did she feel so weak?

Beep…beep…beep…

Ughhhh. I mentally groaned. The scent of disinfectant burned my nostrils and the beeping of something met my ears. My eyes felt far too heavy to open as I felt my entire body being weighed down.

What happened? I tried to recall the last minutes of consciousness. I woke up, showered, brushed my teeth. After that? Work! I was on my way to work when…what happened?

It hit me like a ton of bricks. I was driving to work when a semi truck jumped the lane. I barely had time to register the headlights and horns before it hit. The crash must have been pretty bad as I felt the pain that was blanketing my chest.

Ughhhh. I must be in the hospital. Probably got hit and they called the ambulance. Great, just what I needed. An ambulance bill. Damn…I was having a great dream too. Pokemon as anthros, characters brought to life. It was amazing.

I slowly opened my eyes and immediately shut them at the sudden light. I tried to wipe my eyes but felt it being held down by a heavy weight. The other arm was also held down by something ice cold. I finally was able to get my eyes open and felt them widen in shock. To my left I saw the sleeping form of Vulpix, her snow white still a little dirty from the dried mud on her. Every breath she exhaled held small ice crystals that melted against my skin. To my right Pancham had completely claimed my arm. She had wrapped herself around it, placing my hand to cup her groin and let her get as much cuddling skinship as possible. Rotom was stuck into the crook of my neck. She had retracted her antenna and arms leaving just an orange phone with closed blue eyes.

The one on my chest is what really threw me for a loop. She was so familiar yet so different. She was about 2ft tall from head to toe, with wings easily as big as herself. Her hair had gone from a bright yellow to almost golden color that shines in the early morning light. It was longer too, where she once had short cropped pixie hair; it was now long enough to reach down her back in-between her wings and touch her lower back. Her body was certainly more curvaceous too. Where once she held a petite, slim frame, it was now a solid hourglass, her C cups having expanded to DD and her hips and ass grew to accommodate their new beautiful loads.

"Cuti-" I tried to speak but the soreness of my dehydrated throat stopped me. That turned out to be a bad thing as I saw her button nose scrunch up and her face contorted in fear. She started shaking as tears began to leak from her eyes.

Nope, can't let that happen. Instead of trying to sleep I wiggled my arm out from the vice grip Pancham had on it. She frowned in her sleep and shifted closer to wrap her arms around my chest, her legs moving to intertwine my right leg. She sighed as she found her new cuddle position while never waking up. Works for me. I thought as I moved my hand to Cutiefly?'s head.

The effects were instant. Her face softened and tears stopped. She leaned her head into my palm, now something that didn't completely cover her head but just her scalp. She eventually opened her large chocolate brown eyes. She stared at me in shock, her lip quivering in emotion and her eyes welling with tears again.

"Morning." I said hoarsely. The tears flowed as she cried out.

"RIBOMBEEEEEE!" Her using my chest as a springboard to begin peppering my face with tearful kisses. Pancham squeaked as the excited PokeGirl pushed her from her lovely sleeping spot onto the tiled floor. Vulpix sputtered as she got a face full of wings.

"Wha-AH! I'M BEING SMUSHED!" Rotom shouted from under Cuti- I mean Ribombee's bust.

"Bee! Bee! Ribombee!" She yelled around her kisses.

"It's good to see you too, honey." I said, running my fingers through her hair. Vulpix and Pancham finally woke up enough to realize I was awake.

"Pancham!/Vul!" They joined Ribombee in showering me with love. They giggled as I took turns running my hands through their hair and fur.

"Hey! We told you to keep it-" A nurse in pink scrubs with a Scottish (northern galar?) threw the door open to chastise my PokeGirls.

"Yo." I smiled cheekily as she stared at me.

She quickly pressed a call button before moving to my bedside. "Finally you're awake. Gave a lot of people a scare, you know." She started shooing my girls off of me. Vulpix had enough sense to get off but Pancham and Ribombee actually glued themselves closer to my side, Pancham going so far as to growl.

"Girls, it's okay. Let her do her job." I reassured them. They reluctantly moved off me, Rotom giving an exaggerated gasp as she was released from her bountiful prison.

"Thank you. PokeGirls might help keep spirits up but they can really make it difficult to run tests." She started reading the heart monitor.

"I don't suppose I can get some water. My throat." I asked hoarsely.

"Sure thing." She moved to one of the cabinets and grabbed a paper cup. "I know there's gonna be a lot of happy people now that you're awake. I swear we had to beat the girls off with a stick." She giggled.

"My friends came by?" I asked as she handed me the water.

"Yep. Everyday since you got here. One of 'em tried to bring a whole buggy of gifts in. Had to settle for those." She pointed to a vase of flowers. The bouquet was amazing, a flower for everyone in our group, even Tupp and Zipp. They circled a white rose and chocolate brown Dahlia. A small card with flowing cursive stood proudly at the bottom of the vase signed with all their names a "Get well soon - Lillie".

I tried to sit up to look at them closer but a sharp pain shot across my chest. The nurse helped me lay back down. Right, claws to the chest.

"Easy there. The Slash didn't get too deep but it's basically your whole chest." She used the little remote to slowly sit me up. Just in time for a familiar doctor to enter.

"Well good morning. Now Rachael won't have to ask me how you're doing every day." Dr. Misaki said as she stood by the bedside. "How're you feeling?"

"Sore." I said after I finished my water. "How long was I out?"

"4 days. Which isn't that bad, all things considered." She pulled my gown to the side to inspect my bandages. She looked at the nurse, "He'll need a change of bandages in a bit." She pushed her stethoscope to my chest. "Hmmm sounds good. Alright, now I can ward some of them off but you're probably gonna have a lot of visitors soon."

"Visitors? Who?" I asked nervously. Shit that doesn't sound good. My friends sure but who else?

"Well obviously Rachael and your friends have been trying to tear our walls down." She giggled. "But you probably will have to talk to the Rangers, Officer Jenny, maybe Kahuna Hala?"

"That's…that's a lot of people." I said. One name did stick out to me. "Why the Rangers?"

"Well…" she hesitated for a second. "Attacks on humans are rare but they do happen. The Rangers will more than likely be called to at a minimum relocate her. They'll just ask you what PokeGirl, where it happened, how many, etc."

"Oh! I can help with that!" Rotom said, "I was able to keep recording for a little bit after Cutiefly evolved. Kinda had to shut down after that though."

"Shut down? Are you okay?" I asked.

She waved me off, "Yeah I got a real bad headache during the storm. It kinda felt like someone was squeezing on my brain."

"Pancham, pan." Pancham giggled with Ribombee.

"I DO TOO HAVE A BRAIN!" Rotom yelled, little steam clouds bursting from her anger.

Something Rotom had said had caught my attention. Felt like someone was squeezing her brain? Didn't she…?

Before I could ask Dr. Masaki clapped her hands, "Hey girls!" She caught the PokeGirls attention. "Remember the deal? Best manners or Nurse Chansey will have to remind you!" My PokeGirls blanched and quieted down.

"Huh. Even Rotom shut up. Maybe I should get some tips from Nurse Chansey." I smirked.

"Maybe later," Dr. Masaki lowered my bed slightly. "For now, you're required to get some rest. Just press the call button if you need a nurse. I'll swing back later to check on you. Maybe see if I can get your parent's number." She mumbled the last part.

"What was that?" I asked, just to receive a smile and the clicking on her heels leaving the room.

I sighed as I leaned back into the soft bed. "Hey Rotom?" I asked the plasma ghost. She stopped shooting stink eyes at Pancham to look at me. "You said you recorded right? How much did you get?"

"Not much to be honest. Most of it was corrupted by whatever was messing with me. Do you want to see?" She asked.

I nodded and she pulled up her recording. She was right in that most of the footage was corrupted. It started shortly before the rain but as time went on static crept in the video. The shaking and quality would dip in and out as Rotom panned around the fights. It wasn't until Lillie's scream caught her attention that there was a decent stretch of clear video. I got to see in clear detail me jumping in front of Lillie and getting absolutely wrecked by Gumshoos. Honestly, for what it was, I took that like a champ. I thought rather smugly.

I did get to see a bit of a staticky video of Cutiefly evolving. Her body growing, her curves becoming more pronounced, it was awe inspiring. "Sorry I missed your evolution, honey. I'll make it up to you and great job with the Weather Ball! I knew you could do it!" Ribombee smiled and reached up to give me a kiss. I watched as the rolling white energy morphed into the blue flowing water blade.

"Wait. Roll back for a second Rotom. Play it back a little slower." Rotom blinked in surprise before doing as asked. She played the video slower at my request. "Pause." I stopped on the face of the Gumshoos. I was expecting a look of satisfaction, a hunt completed and prey secured. Instead the look on Gumshoos' face was one of horror and repulsion. Why does she look like…she didn't want to do that?

"Pannn." Pancham growled and Ribombee's frown was set in stone. Vulpix was silent but I could definitely feel the chilly air coming from her

"Hey, calm down guys. I'm okay. I'm here." I said petting them. While I got some smiles they didn't exactly settle down. Vulpix and Pancham crawled up to cuddle me into my sides and Ribombee took her place on my lap and chest.

"You can't really blame them, Master." She said, She floated down and morphed her plasma body so she could sit on my lap with Ribombee. "A bond a PokeGirl has with her trainer is…different from the bonds we make when we're wild. It's deeper, more personal. Hell, I'm not even caught and I feel shitty too…" She said morosely. The other girls pressed closer to me and I couldn't help but feel bad. I got their attention and gave them my best soft smile.

"I know you feel like you didn't protect me. But you shouldn't focus on that. When I got hurt, I couldn't ask for a better team to pick up where I was and get everyone. You guys drove the other wild PokeGirls off." I rubbed the heads of my furry and fuzzy companions. "You were able to hold yourself together in the face of something messing with you and guide them out of the woods." I praised blushing Rotom.

"Aww, Master!" She floated up and presented her cheek for a kiss. With a little chuckle I gave her her reward which prompted a kissing and petting session with everyone.

After the giggles subsided, I laid back into my bed and sighed. Well, it's nice to be surrounded by love even after I died. I really paused as I thought about that. I gently placed a hand over my chest wound, not the long gash I could start to feel burn through the bandages but the vertical healed scar that had brought me here. I really did die. Just a crash and a piece of rebar and it was over. It was stunning how quickly it was over and even more stunning that I, of all people, had been resurrected, reincarnated?, whatever you call it.

It was causing my head to spin. The only reason I knew it was all real was the pain and the warmth and feel of the bodies pressed against me. A growl got my attention. I halfway expected it to be Ribombee's stomach but considering all the people with enhanced senses were staring at my stomach it answered my question for me.

God, I don't know when the last time I ate was. I'm not gonna be able to think straight on an empty stomach. What I wouldn't give for a good Mallow cooked meal.

The sliding doors slamming against the wall shocked me out of my head. Mallow's chest was heaving as she entered my hospital room. She had a wild look in her eye as she found me in bed. I could already see the tears well up in her eyes. Speak of the devil.

"I don't suppose you brought a cheeseburger with you?" I smirked. She started crying before rushing across the room. Ribombee, Pancham and Rotom were squished in-between us as she wrapped her arms tightly around my neck. She tried to get some words out but I just held her.

"I'm getting lots of cuddles and kisses today. If you're not careful I might think y'all actually like me." I joked. She just gave me a short disbelieving laugh.

"Get used to it." She said hoarsely. She moved back to free my suddenly disappointed PokeGirls. Pervs…not like I'm much better. "You're probably gonna get a lot more when everyone else gets here. I'm just the closest."

"Oh, you're just the closest? Is that why you sound like you ran a marathon?" I smirked at her blush. She didn't hold her pout for long before she hugged me again, this time without suffocating my PokeGirls with her chest.

"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have pushed us all to go to the lake. I should have checked the weather better. I-" She started but I cut her off.

"Hey, hey, hey. None of that now." I put a hand on her cheek and wiped away some of the tears. "You didn't know any of that would happen. None of us did. I moved to protect Lillie and I would have done the same for any of you."

She blushed and placed a hand over mine. We sat there staring into each other's eyes for a long while. I could see her eyes soften and she slowly moved closer to my face. I slowly tilted my head up to get closer to hers.

"Any chance we can make this a threesome?" A deadpan voice interrupted us. Mallow practically flung herself across the room to get away from me and I was left blinking at the newcomer. Lana was practically dying laughing at her friend's embarrassment.

"Oh my God, you should see your face!" She laughed at a very red Mallow. "You look like a Darumaka!"

"Lanaaaaaa!" Mallow pleaded with her oldest friend. Ribombee and Pancham were laughing their own asses off and Vulpix was hiding a rare giggle behind her hand. I could help but laugh along with the energy. At least right up until another stomach growl rippled across the room, this time not just from me but my girls as well.

The door slid open again this time with a more calm presence. The rest of my friends filed into the room, with Rapp taking a determined strided right next to my bed. She stopped only briefly to order Lana and my girls off my bed so she could more effectively loom over me with a sour face. I swear I could see the dark aura and little "GOGOGOGOGO~" characters surrounding her.

"Now let's not be hasty-" I tried to protest but a finger pointed inches from my face cut me off.

"If you EVER scare us like that again a little scratch will be the least of your problems. Understand?"

"Careful, you almost sound like you care." Sophocles laughed before squeaking as the demon stare was turned on him. Kiawe stepped up to give me a fist bump.

"Hope I didn't miss any good battles. How's it going?" I returned his gesture and he smiled back.

"Pretty tense honestly. Charizard's been beating herself up cause she thinks she could have made the difference." He said. "Don't suppose you could let her fuss over you when she sees you after you're out." We laughed together before I scanned the room. I almost could barely spot her, the white of her clothes almost letting her blend into the sterile background of the hospital room. Lillie was rubbing her hands nervously while steadfastly refusing to look my way.

"She's been blaming herself since Saturday. She's been saying it's her fault you almost died. We tried telling her it wasn't but with you still being unconscious…" I frowned as she quickly looked away when our eyes met. Mallow gave her a gentle little shove and she stumbled closer to my bed with her hands clasped in front of her.

"I-I uh- I…" She stuttered over her words before I cut her off by making her come closer. When she was finally in range I pulled her into a tight hug. I heard her gasp and could feel a few of her tears fall on the thin fabric of the hospital gown. I didn't say anything as she gripped me into a tight hug and really started crying. Mallow and Lana seemed to deflate in relief as Lillie cried her guilt and happiness of being "forgiven". Like I would hold this against her.

After a little she separated herself from our hug, eyes red but noticeably happier. "I'm sorry." She said quietly with a blush. She squeaked as Rapp threw an arm around her shoulders and pulled her into a side hug.

"See, we told you Princess. You had nothing to worry about."

Everyone started to settle into the room, taking up whatever seating could be provided in what I would consider a very upscale hospital. God this bill is gonna be atrocious. Wait, I don't have insurance… fuck.

Before I could panic a nudge from Rotom caught my attention. "Master, your PokeGirls." She motioned to my team. I could see Vulpix stifling a yawn as she gave a piggy back ride to a drifting Ribombee. Pancham was outright snoring in the other bed, taking no care to curl up and just leaving herself baring it all for the group to see. "I think they want to catch up on some sleep without worrying if you won't wake up." I nodded and instinctively reached for my belt where I kept their pokeballs when minimized. However panic surged as I remembered I was missing any of my clothes.

Luckily it seemed my friends were 2 steps ahead of me as Rapp suddenly whistled to catch my attention. She tossed me my pokeballs from her own belt. "Picked them up from the nursing station. Figured you'd want them sooner than wait for a nurse to bring them by." I thanked her and recalled my girls one by one.

"So what happened after I got diced?" I asked everyone rather bluntly. The slightly horrified look my friends gave me made me chuckle a little, "What? There's gotta be a good story."

Mallow shook her head. "Yeah but you could stand to put it better." Lana, Sophocles and Rapp laughed along with me as Kiawe shook his head in exasperation. I couldn't help but give her a cheeky smile which earned me a blush and a softly mumbled "dummy".

"Well if you really want to know…" Rapp said with a little hesitation.

Rapp felt her breath hitch as she realized what was happening. Lillie had gotten separated by a couple of Yungoos and was forced towards their leader. Cutiefly had been able to blast away the 2 Loitering PokegGirls but there was no way she could have turned on a dime to protect Princess. She panicked as she saw the white glow from around the evolved PokeGirl's claws. She shouted for Zubat but her poison bat was currently locked down in a brawl with a Murkrow. The bat had the upper hand with her teeth firmly sucking on the neck of the Darkness harpy but there was no way she could get there in time. She tried to make her own run on her friend's side but she was already way behind.

Michael had been immediate in running to save the Aether Foundation Heiress. She knew he was quick on his feet from when they had their PokeGirls chase him down on the day of the School tour but she didn't think he was that fast. He slid into position in front of the larger PokeGirl and threw his hands to the side to cover as much of Lillie as possible. The claws sliced through air and flesh like there was no difference. Michael immediately dropped backwards onto Lillie who couldn't support the both of them. It was almost like a scene from one of her…ahem totally innocent novels, the princess in white drenched in rain holding the bleeding body of the hero.

She wasn't thinking about that at the moment though. She slid into place to support the both of them right as a blue glow enveloped the dark forest. Cutiefly- now Ribombee, absolutely decimated the Stakeout PokeGirl in one Water type blast. How the hell did she learn a Water Move? The impact of the evolved PokeGirl cracked a tree and seemed to signal to all the other wild PokeGirls that they should retreat. Most of them were immediately able to but a new problem would present itself. Ribombee's eyes were furious as she began to call more of her attacks while the growing cold front signaled that Vulpix was planning to freeze the entire river and possibly the entire forest in retribution. Pancham might not have the sheer firepower her teammates had to endanger the humans around her in her fury but that seemed to be cold comfort to the Machop's neck she was currently throttling.

"RAPP! HIS POKEBALLS. EMERGENCY RECALL." Kiawe shouted at her and she understood what he wanted. She pulled the Pokeballs from Michaels belt and tossed him two for Vulpix and Pancham. She then clicked the button of the ball 3 times in rapid fashion causing the entire holographic to turn a blood red. She held the ball up to recall a furious Ribombee and the Pokeball made a loud buzz to indicate she was contained. It wouldn't be forever but it should give the emotional Bee Fly enough time to cool off.

Everyone immediately converged on her and Lillie as the Wild PokeGirls fled. Lillie was hyper venataling as she sobbed over the d- unconscious he's not dead, body of Michael. Rapp's first aid training with her mother kicked in as she realized someone had to take charge. "Shirt's now!" She shouted to the group as she took her own off. It was soaking wet but it was immediate and they didn't have time to fiddle with Lillie's bag for any towels they hadn't already used. Mallow and Tupp must have realized what she meant as they also stripped themselves of their shirts. Mallow got beside her as she pressed the fabric hard on the gaping wound. "As much pressure as you can." She instructed as the green hair chef nodded along.

She turned to the devastated girl that was supporting his- him, damnit. "Lillie, Lillie!" She slightly shouted at the girl. She jumped as stared wide eyed with panic at her. "We need your help. I need you to be brave. Hold him still so we can work. Can you do that?" Lillie's panic slowly faded before something like steel entered her eyes. She bit her lip and nodded resolutely. She pulled Michael further up her laps so he would be steady as Rapp and Mallow got to work. She took the shirts off of her friends one by one until she was confident in her "bandages." Luckily nobody protested for their own modesty as she worked her way through their friends until they were all shirtless. Kiawe was grimacing as for once his habit of not wearing a shirt meant he couldn't help.

"We need to get him out of here." Lana said nervously, holding herself. She was the only girl not dressed down to her bra with her swimsuit covering a good bit of skin. Mallow nodded along as she removed her blood soaked hands and shakily wiped them on her shorts.

"How?! We're so far away from home! And we don't know how to get back!" Sophocles panicked. Rapp bit her lip in frustration as her mind raced. Kiawe and Mallow no doubt were thinking the same thing.

"I'll carry him." Kiawe said firmly. "Leave behind anything that's not your Pokeballs or what you're wearing right now. We have to go fast." He bent down and Mallow and Lillie gently placed Michael on his back. Kiawe grimaced as he felt the warmth of his friend's blood but it just lit a flame under him to help his friend.

"That still doesn't mean we know where we are! Aren't we supposed to call someone and stay put!" Sophocles shouted as he pulled his own phone out.

"There's no time. He'll die if we don't move now." Rapp shouted back.

"Hey yo. What about his Rotom Phone? She can lead us right?" Tupp said as Zipp nodded along beside him. Rapp's eyes lit up as she gently pulled Michael away and allowed the possessed device freedom to float from his front shirt pocket.

"I-I- kzzt t-th-think I-I-I can." Rotom struggled to get out as she pulled up the map app. The static hindered her ability to read but the Plasma PokeGirl did her best to keep the picture steady. "I-I'll d-do-do-do my best."

"Dad said there was a community meeting tonight. We should go there for help." Lana said, her face filled with worry.

The group moved as quickly as they could through the darkness of the rain and forest. Rotom floated slightly in front of Rapp who had taken the lead position with Kiawe right behind. Rotom's natural glow bobbed in front of them as she led them back the way they came. Rapp could tell the Plasma ghost was only barely pushing through whatever was affecting her as she would sporadically dip from the air and her light would dim.

Thankfully her glow wasn't the only light for the group. Togedemaru had been kept out and was providing a steady illumination for them. They kept an eye out for Wild PokeGirls as they trudged on. It was either lucky or more likely the steaming fury coming from Turtonator that kept the eyes firmly in the treetops and bushes.

Rapp could almost cry as they finally reached the flower field. The group was exhausted from the muddy march and now they still had a long way to go only now they wouldn't have cover from the rain. Kiawe was mumbling a prayer to Wela Volcano through his breath. "Kiawe, do you need help?" Lillie asked, panting from her own exhaustion. Kiawe shook his head.

"No, I will be fine. A little rain can't put out my fire. It burns as hot as Wela Volcano." He said through gritted teeth as he shifted his load's weight. The journey to the road was much easier than the first half. Good thing too as when their feet hit the pavement, Rotom suddenly dropped. Mallow lunged forward and caught the phone before it could crack the pavement.

"You did awesome Rotom. We got it from here." She said to the drained phone. The PokeGirls' eyes were closed and had retracted her plasma entirely into her casing. Mallow looked up and down the road to confirm where they were before taking off down the road with a quick call to follow her.

She sprinted through the rain as hard as she could ignoring how much her lungs hurt or how her legs cramped. She didn't look back as she swiftly moved to the community center where meetings were held. She was confident that all her friends, even Tupp and Zipp, would be able to keep up with her. All that mattered right now was getting to those double doors that appeared through the darkness.

"HELP! WE NEED HELP!" She shouted with all her might as she burst through the doors. Immediately they were swarmed by the adults in the room. She couldn't help but collapse into her dad's chest as it all caught up to her. Lillie's brave face broke as she cried into Hobbes' chest. Kiawe was relieved of his duty by Officer Jenny and he collapsed onto the floor. As Rapp's mom and Nurse Joy were given a first aid kit to help, Mallow could just barely see Michael's chest rising in deep labored breaths.

Tapus. Please. Protect him. She prayed as her dad, along with the other parents, pulled her away.

I sat in silence after Rapp finished the recount of what happened. A couple of injections from the others filled in a few of the parts she couldn't fully remember but that wasn't important. It really struck me how much they did for me. Even now, after the fact, they were getting emotional at the thought of what if…of what if I didn't make it.

I couldn't help but tear up at their friendship. "Thank you…for being there for me." I said quietly. Everyone was emotional already with some of my friends wiping their tears away. I couldn't help but give a small smile. "At least I know what to get you all for your birthdays." I joked. That got a couple of laughs from them.

"Please, you owe me wayyy more than just a shirt. I'm thinking the concert I've been looking forward to in a couple months is a good start." Rapp shot back with a subtle smug look. I didn't notice Mallow's sour face or how Lana was really to shank a bitch before I spoke up again.

"Well that depends on if I can afford a stick of gum after this bill." I said with a bit of gallows humor. "I don't suppose you like spearmint?"

"Oh don't worry!" Lillie perked up. "Mother already agreed to cover it." She blushed and pushed her fingers together. That's too adorable. "Though, I- um you shouldn't be surprised if I invite you to meet her one day. She wants to meet you."

"Oh! That reminds me!" Sophocles spoke up. "My mom told me to get your parent's number for them. They already have everyone else's so…" he trailed off and I began to panic. Fuck. Okay…how do I deflect…international number? No, they already think they live in the region too.

"Hmph. You should go ahead and call them while you're at it." Mallow said with a bit of heat. "I mean, who doesn't visit their kid in the hospital?! I've been here more than they have and I hate hospitals!"

"Wait, really?" Kiawe asked incredulously. For someone so family oriented it boggled his mind that Michael's parents would be so casual about their son's health.

"Dude, what's their problem?" Rapp growled. "You know what. Rotom! Call his Mom! I'm gonna give her a piece of my mind."

"Sorry I can't do that." Rotom said in a sing-song voice.

"Ugh fine I'll give you a kiss or something just make the call." Rapp rolled her eyes.

"No, like seriously. Michael doesn't have any contact for a mom. Or dad for that matter. You guys are pretty much the only numbers he has besides Kukui and that's more for my field reports. Hey Master, how come you never gave me their numbers? I could have told them you were in the hospital like, days ago." She said, looking at me.

"I know you said you're not talking but the least they could do is fucking show up. Sorry Lillie." Mallow said angrily. She only just tacked on the last bit when Lillie gave a scandalized gasp.

I felt panic rising as everyone seemed to jump to conclusions. I couldn't find the words or even where to begin dispelling anything they were saying. However it wasn't the anger that came from the more emotional of the group that really set off alarm bells. Lana had been watching the back and forth with a pensive look before something seemed to dawn on her. She found a lull in the angry conversation to ask a very pointed question.

"Michael…are your parents…still…around?" She asked with hesitation. That question seemed to suck the air out of the room. The anger of one half of the room seemed to freeze as they got what Lana was implying. Everyone's eyes locked on me in a sense of…desperation. They wanted a denial, some reassurance that their friend, someone they had gotten to know and who would quite literally throw their body into danger for them, wasn't an orphan. I could already see the tears pricking at Lillie's eyes and Mallow's horrified look of realization.

"Michael?" Rapp asked with trepidation. I froze as I thought about what to say. The worst part was I couldn't think of anything to play down or even give a sufficient explanation to make them not worry. Double fuck. What the hell do I tell them? "Oh I actually died and was reincarnated and dropped kicked across realties to end up here. Anyways don't tell anyone?" That would get me locked in an asylum at best and strapped to a government interrogation table at worst! …okay maybe that's a little paranoid but I still have no idea what they do with orphans or foster kids.

Before I could rally a knock on the sliding door broke the rising tension in the room. Rapp's mom poked her head. "Sorry kids but there's some people here to see Michael." She opened the door for 2 figures to step through. One was a taller middle aged man with dark hair and eyes. His brown investigator's coat and suit cut a sharp frame against the eggshell white of the hospital room. His partner was a young woman with lilac eyes and long lilac hair pulled back into a flowing ponytail. She wore a similar dark two piece suit that did very little to hide her stunning beauty. As they entered they both held up badge's with an International Police shield and their IDs. While my friends were confused by the International Police asking to speak to me, I was freaking out. I, of course, recognized the iconic look of the policeman Looker. I could even vaguely remember the subplot of Sun and Moon that involved Anabel. Wait, wasn't she psychic?! I thought with a sharp panic.

"Excuse me, we have a few questions for Mr. Webb. Would you all please exit the room?" Looker said with a rather firm voice. His face and tone were stern, brokering no room for negotiation and killed any hope I had of not being noticed by authorities.

triple fuck.

Ribombee

Height: 2' 3"

Weight: 22lbs

Hair color: Golden blonde

Eye color: Brown

Bust size: C cup (Arceus the bounce is *kiss* perfect!)

Personality: Excitable and confident, loyal to her teammates, friends and even more to her trainer. Exhibitionist (Yes, I'm the one taking candid pictures but you're the one posing with that fat ass out, so who's the real pervert?) (Still you.)

Defining Features: Wings have a brown pattern that indeed look like ribbons. Fuzz, as known formally as 'pile', surrounds her arms and legs from the wrists and knees down. This fuzz traps large amounts of pollen which Ribombee uses for its signature attack, Pollen Puff. After evolution, Ribombee has gotten much more curvaceous and sexy, as fitting for a final evolved form.
