Hey, all! We're back at it again. Sorry for the delay this time around. Work got super hectic and I kept losing time to work on this chapter. On that note, make sure you're drinking water. It's hot this time of year and you don't wanna fall out! That's all from me and as always, I hope you enjoy!
You know I haven't said it in a while but I probably should right? I do not own and am not affiliated with any person or company that owns Pokémon.
I grunted in effort as I pulled the shirt over my head and down. I could feel the regrown skin over my chest pull and strain, not yet having the usual elasticity that Dr. Misaki promised me would eventually set in. It was honestly amazing the level of tech this world had. The rapid development of medical science for PokeGirls, driven by the rise of the Leagues and Professional Battling, had also driven medical science for humans as well. So while humans couldn't enjoy a dip in a healing machine like a PokeGirl- our non-affinity for Type Energy just didn't allow for that- a plethora of operations and machines made what would be a numerous week stay in a hospital to a little under a week.
As it were, I was getting discharged today. Not a moment too soon either, in my opinion. I was going stir crazy from stale sterile air being circulated and the occasional poking and prodding by a nurse. My PokeGirls were just as anxious to get out too. I just needed someone to walk out of here with me and thankfully Mallow and Lana were both available. Mallow had even brought me a new set of clothes since she knew my old ones had been ruined. She said they were her older brother's hand-me-downs but the suspicious tag left on the pants said otherwise. I just hope the shirts and shoes weren't too expensive as well. I wouldn't want her to have to visit the Bank of Lillie on my behalf.
The pants were a light blue pair of denim jeans. Breathable and study, I figured these would be ideal for walking around the jungle in, probably better than the shorts I had been wearing. She had also brought a pair of shirts, one a thinner baby blue undershirt and a thin yellow over shirt that was one pineapple away from getting me labeled a tourist. The sneakers she had bought were at least simple, mostly white with some black accents. They honestly reminded me of Ash's shoes from the anime. I turned to the mirror and freshened myself up. I was due for a haircut and I still probably needed a shower instead of a sponge bath (even if Chansey had made that an enjoyable experience) but I was healthy enough to leave and that was good enough for me.
A click drew my attention to Rotom who kept taking pictures from the lap of a smiling Ribombee. "Strike a pose, Master!" She said with a giggle. I chuckled under my breath and threw up a peace sign towards the camera. Both of my PokeGirls giggled as Rotom snapped a few more pictures. A knock on the door and it slid openly quickly and let Mallow and Lana enter.
"Hmmm." Mallow said as she squinted at me. I stood still as she approached with a hand on her chin. Lana mimicked her actions and circled around me with her own critical eye. I felt like I had been dropped in a pair of Sharpedo's tank. Mallow stepped forward before smiling and fixing my collar and running her hands down the open front of my overshirt. "There. Now that's the Michael we know."
"I don't know, I could tell pretty easily." I leaned away to look behind myself at Lana. She had crouched down with her critical face to stare at my ass. "Although I guess it could be better to confirm…" She muttered as she started making grabby hands towards me.
"Woah there, Lana. At least take me out first." I laughed as Mallow dragged a still grabby Lana back.
"Aww, why can't we just skip to the good part?" "Lana!" "What? We can share~" Mallow's blush and Lana's smirk told me she half said that for the shock value. Only half though, I swear that girl is getting more thirsty by the day and it wasn't just me. Our group chat was plastered with Lana's flirts towards anything with a pulse. I know for a fact that she and Rotom have flirt offs whenever I'm not looking.
Another knock on the door and the head nurse entered with a wheelchair. The head nurse was simultaneously the most intimidating and most caring nurse ever. She was an elderly woman, probably in her late 50s to early 60's. She was built more muscular than the average woman at her age and her height probably didn't help that, being at a little under 6ft tall. Her hair was cropped up into a buzz cut but the one thing that unfortunately drew the most attention was the large scar that ran down the left side of her face and bisected the left side of her mouth.
All of that might serve to intimidate at first glance but 5 seconds with Nurse Holly and you know you're in the most capable hands. She was kind and had a dry quick wit. She also had a wealth of experience and knowledge of both human and PokeGirl bodies. From what I had gathered she'd served in a humanitarian operation in Orre for an astounding 10 years alongside her Chansey.
"Time to go, hun. Are you ready?" She asked with a crackly smoker's voice.
"Yes, ma'am. No offense but I'm ready to be out of here." I chuckled as I got into the wheelchair.
"Does he have to be wheeled out? He seems fine to walk." Lana asked.
"Sorry girls, hospital policy. But…" She got a little smirk on her face. "There ain't nothing about who has to push him out." Mallow and Lana looked at each other before giggling as they pushed and shoved their way behind me.
I couldn't help but roll my eyes and look at the nurse. "What happened to do no harm?"
"That's doctors dear." She smiled smugly. "Besides, you mean you don't enjoy being helped by 2 beautiful young ladies?" She gestured to Lana and Mallow who showed their acting chops by putting on the most heart wrenching pouts. The eyes….the eyes will steal my soul!
I let my head drop on defeat as the girls giggled. Ribombee laughed as she took off from the bed but was quickly cut off as she bounced her head off the ceiling tiles. I winced as the girls gasped and Rotom bit out a small laugh. That was a recent problem Ribombee had been having. Her evolution had thrown her spatial awareness and her gauge on her own power wayyy off. Thankfully she hadn't broken anything in our stay but the amount of bumps she was taking wasn't unnoticeable.
The march through the hospital ward wasn't long but it was eventful. Nurses that we passed all waved and congratulated me on my recovery. Though the thumbs up that the male nurse Todd sent me might have been for a different reason.
Finally the sliding glass doors of the entrance opened to let me out into the natural Alolan sun once more. I could help but take a deep appreciative breath as I smell the salt in the air. Mallow and Lana stepped aside as Nurse Holly locked the wheelchair. Ribombee flew up alongside Rotom to let me stand and stretch my legs. I could help but groan as I worked some of the stiffness out of my joints.
"Alright, young man, you're free to go. I don't wanna see you in here for a few years at least!" She gave me a playfully stern look before winking at Mallow and Lana. "Keep him out of trouble, would ya?"
"Yes, ma'am!" They gave a short salute before giggling. Nurse Holly waved one last time as she strolled back inside with the wheelchair.
"So, what are your plans for today?" I asked, as I turned to my friends.
"We were gonna tag along with you for a while. Dad doesn't need me back till dinner rush." Mallow said.
"Same. Mom and Dad want to have dinner with everyone before Dad has to go back out to sea. You're welcome to join." Lana said with a look on her eye.
"Hmmm, well I was planning on going back to my camp today. See if the storm damaged anything." Mallow and Lana shared a bit of a worried look as I said that.
"A-Are you sure you need to go back? I mean, you don't have to do it…right away right?" Mallow said worriedly.
"Yeah, you don't have to go back." Lana said. I couldn't help but smile at their worry.
"It's fine, you guys. I have to go back anyway to get my stuff." I shrugged. "Might as well do it today."
"B-But don't you have to go down that cliff? What if you get hurt going down or or-" I could see Mallow was jumping to conclusions in her worries. I grabbed her shoulders and pulled her and Lana into a quick hug.
"I'll be okay. Thank you for worrying about me though." I could feel both of them melt a little into my hug as well all comforted each other. After a few seconds I let them go and they reluctantly let go.
"F-Fine. But we're coming with you!" Mallow said with a blush. Lana nodding let me know neither one of them were gonna let me wander off alone today.
"Hey, I won't complain." I said. "Come on, let's get going. I just hope the rain didn't flood my cave."
"That sounds like a fun adventure. Mind if I tag along?" A voice caught our attention. I turned to see Anabel walking up with a slight sway to her hips. "Sorry I couldn't meet you before they wheeled you out. Got a little side tracked."
"Anabel? What are you doing here?" I asked. I figured she would have been on a plane by now to report to her supervisor or something.
"Hey you're that International Police officer from the other day." Lana said.
"Yes I am. Now I'm also Michael's guardian for the foreseeable future." I looked at her confusedly before I felt the pressure on my mind like before.
Not like any normal case worker could handle your case. You've been deemed an asset so it's just more practical to keep me here than anything else. For now, just play along.
I nodded slightly. Lana perked up slightly as she seemed to realize something. "Does that mean Michael doesn't have to sleep outdoors anymore?"
"Hey I happen to like my camp…" I protested.
Mallow put her hand on my shoulder and gave me a deadpan look, "And I prefer my friends to not be homeless."
Aww she's so sweet. Looks like I don't need to worry about you getting a girlfriend~ I rolled my eyes as I ignored Anabel's mental teasing.
"Don't worry hon, he doesn't have to rough it anymore." She said as she handed me a keycard "Here you go, kid. I already sent Rotom the address but this will get you into the building and apartment."
"Oh that's what that was." Rotom said. "Good thing I didn't delete it."
"Do you often delete my texts without telling me?" I glared at the floating menace as she started to sweat. I couldn't help but notice some tension seemed to leave Mallow and Lana as they grasped that I wasn't gonna have to camp in the woods anymore.
"It's a nice apartment that we'll have to share. Don't worry, you'll have your own bedroom but we'll have to share a bathroom. Don't peek~" Anabel gave a flirty wink.
"Well I guess it'll be nice to have a bed again." I mumbled as I pocketed the key. "But come on, if I've got to pack I'd rather get going."
"Just one sec. Lemme have some girl talk with your friends." I gave her a questioning look as she pulled Lana and Mallow to the side. She was whispering to them for a few minutes. Just what are you up to?
I tried to read their lips but I got distracted by Ribombee settling on my shoulder. Her hips and ass were just a bit wider than my shoulder now and she had to steady herself with a hand on my head. I could see her pout forming as she realized she wouldn't be able to fit as comfortably as she used to as a Cutiefly.
"Riii…" She sighed and I put a hand on her thighs.
"Don't worry love, you're still as light as ever. You don't bother me." She gave me a bright smile and leaned over to kiss the top of my head.
Anabel caught my attention as she returned with my friends. I started to ask what was up before they both hugged me quickly.
"We'll catch you later. Text you in a bit!" They said quickly before all but running away from us. I blinked a bit stupidly as I watched them go before turning to Anabel.
"What was that about?" I asked a little suspicious.
She gave me a cheeky grin, "Oh I just gave them a super important mission." She said with a laugh, "Besides, it'll be easier for us to talk without them around. Now, come one, where's this camp of yours." I gave her a scrutinizing look before deciding to drop it.
I had to pull Rotom out to guide myself back to the road I would always veer off into the forest. I was a creature of habit and honestly I didn't feel like trying to navigate a new way from the hospital to my camp. Anabel and Ribombee seemed to hit it off as we walked which drew my attention.
"Are you able to understand her?" I asked, curious how far her psychic powers extended. Anabel shook her head softly as she reached over to pet Ribombee's head.
"Nah, psychic, some ghosts and dark types are able to learn and understand human speech but for other types it's more like I'm getting a baseline reading of their emotions. Though with how she is I don't really need to do that~" She crooned at Ribombee's blushing face.
The hike continued in relative silence as we made our way to my base camp. Along the way I could spot some of Ribombee's Bug-Type friends. She flitted carefully up to everyone she could spot, twirling and bouncing so all of them could see and admire her new form. There were a couple bumps and bruises as she misjudged an angle or distance but she wasn't fazed in the slightest.
"We'll have to work on that…" I commented on her flying. That wasn't what really intrigued me. It was the faces and behavior of the wild PokeGirls. Downcast eyes, rubbing shoulders… "Hey Rotom, what are they saying about Ribombee?"
The ghost looked a little surprised before listening in a little more intently. "Huh that's weird. They should be bouncing off the wall and each other. Instead it's kinda short one word answers, a sentence at the most." Jealousy? Nah. Some of them are excited to see her for a second. Then the change…
What were they up to?
"Ya know I could help you sand some of the edges off her flying." Anabel offered as Ribombee got too close to a Weedle on the approach and got a face full of poison. I tossed a Pecha her way as I looked at Anabel.
"I figured it's something we can do. I just hope the rope course wasn't too damaged…"
"Oh you run drills for your PokeGirls?" When I nodded she hummed for a second before continuing on. "Sounds like you're got half the equation at least."
"Half? What's the other half?" I asked.
"Maybe we'll see. Anyways, are we there?" She said and I looked ahead and sure enough we were at the cliffside. I did a quick spot check and cursed.
"Damn. Rope must have gotten damaged. Gonna have to go down the old fashioned way." I said, biting my thumb.
A sudden white flash drew our gaze to Anabel as she released her Espeon. A quick exchange of glances and the psychic fox's eyes and forehead gem shone with a soft blue light. Instantly I felt myself lighten as Anabel and I were gently lifted down the cliff. I couldn't help but flail around in the psychic clutch as I searched for any stability.
Anabel took it like a champ and was gently set on her feet as the blue glow faded. I, however, was very quickly acquainted with the ground. A second later the PokeGirls caught up with their own methods as I got up.
"Note to self: Get a Psychic Type and learn how to do that." I grumbled as I rubbed the comically sized knot on my head.
"Addendum: Get one you absolutely trust. And have me teach you to mentally block." She said with a bit of authority.
"I mean, I trust your Psychic expertise but can I ask why?"
"Simple, you don't wanna gestalt. That and it's nice to have some privacy in your own head." She smirked a little. Or are you saying you like having others in your head?
I shivered at the feeling of the psychic link before I shot my own smirk. I don't know, the only times I've had someone in my head was a beautiful woman and her adorable fox. I could get used to it.
I laughed as her blush overran her face in an instant. Espeon gave a light chuckle behind her before sending a soothing pulse my way.
"Anyways," I said as I stood up and dusted. "You said gestalt. What's that?" Science fiction nerd I was, that was an unfamiliar concept.
Anabel shrugged, "Basically when 2 or more beings are linked for an extended period of time they'll sometimes merge into one single mind. There's evidence of it in nature, Magnemite and Beldum for example. It's just whenever a human and PokeGirl or Pokemon has tried it…the results weren't pretty." She shook her head. "Anyways aren't you gonna look at your camp?"
"Fine, fine, no more stalling." I turned and opened my eyes to my base camp and winced. "Damn."
There really was no other way to put it. The whole area looked like a herd of elephants had come in and tossed everything around before a pod of hippos stampeded through, then the elephants came back and did a 15 part ballet recital on the remains.
Okay maybe that was exaggerating but honestly that's how I felt.
To start, Pancham's sand pit was completely soaked and destroyed. What was once a painstakingly dug and filled training ground with soft sand and boulders to break had turned into a mud soaked bog. The table I and my PokeGirls had spent sharing meals and laughter at had been smashed and tossed halfway into the creek, just barely holding on the shore so it wasn't washed away. I couldn't even see my portable grill so there was no telling where that thing had gone. The looped vines I had set up for Cutiefly's aerial displays had either come undone or were ripped off their branches completely. Worst of all, the tarp canopy I had set up to help keep the rain out of the cave collapsed and covered the entrance so I couldn't even see the damage done inside.
A low whistle from Anabel broke me out of my trance. "Damn, that storm must have done a real number. Or someone found it and didn't like what they saw." Wait…someone?
I walked over to the thrown table and pulled it out of the water. As I slowly set the destroyed table down I realized my hands were sticking to it slightly. I pulled back and saw there was a thin white film partially covering it. Well, that's definitely not mine. As I scanned the surroundings I noticed more and more of that white film. Damn, looks like Spider-Man had an orgy here…Wait a damn minute.
"It's webbing." I said as I examined the surroundings. Sure, enough almost my entire camp had been covered in it. "The Bug Types around here must have got caught up in that Psychic storm the other day."
"Makes sense. A couple Caterpies can cover a car in a few minutes, the amount around here would be more than capable of this damage." Anabel said as she examined the camp as well. The behavior of the Bug Types makes sense now. They probably weren't expecting to see us again so they're probably feeling guilty after the rampage.
Sighing, I stood up and started walking to the cave. "Not like I do much about it right now. I'll probably just have to fix it up and clean later."
"Gonna keep coming back here?" Anabel asked.
"Of course. Give up my not so secret training grounds? I don't think so. Plus it's a great camping spot." I laughed as I got to the cave. Moment of truth…
Inside wasn't much better. The collapsing of the tarp was a blessing and a curse. The tarp must have collected water before it collapsed and soaked anything towards the front in a huge splash of water. The brightside is that it stopped there as nothing else got soaked. If there was anything to soak anymore that is. All my baskets and containers had been turned over and smashed. The berries I had gathered as well as any food I could keep in my ice chest had already been eaten by whatever visitors I had. My Snorlax sized sleeping bag wasn't torn up but I could see where it had been soaked by rain, berries juices and various other juices. Is that thing machine washable? My charger set up from Rotom was completely fried, most likely to have been shorted out at some point. Maybe I can salvage the solar panels?
A brief moment of panic overtook me as I raced over to the basket where I kept my clothes. It was just overturned, more than likely the PokeGirls didn't find food so they left it alone afterwards but that wasn't what I cared about. Digging out all my clothes I sighed in relief as I felt my fingers grab something cool to the touch. "Well at least I still have you…" I said as I pulled the Ice Stone. I made sure to pocket the Ice Stone, ignoring how cold it made my leg as I exited the cave.
"Well this was a bust. Sorry I dragged you out here." I apologized to Anabel as she was holding one of the damaged training ropes.
"You made these? What for?" She asked.
"Training course for when she was a Cutiefly." I pointed to the Bug Fairy as she settled on my shoulders. I ignored how soft she felt as she cuddled into the back of my head and how her thighs felt under my fingers. "She weaves in and out with a hell of a precision. I guess I'll have to make larger ropes so we can iron out the clumsiness you've got now huh?" I said as she grumbled.
"Why not do it right now?" Anabel asked.
"I mean, I guess we could? Might take a couple hours?" I said, confused.
"No silly." She giggled as she stood up and faced me. "Let's battle, 1 on 1 with Ribombee and Espeon."
I blinked in surprise at her offer. "As much as I would want to face a Frontier Brain, wouldn't it be really difficult to learn to fly in the heat of battle?" I asked.
Anabel smirked as she held up a finger, "On the contrary, it's the best time. PokeGirls are actually in a constant state of suppression, whether they know it or not. Don't wanna break your Trainer with a hug right?"
"Oohh, it's also a bit of a holdover from when we're wild. We're raised to conserve energy cause you never know when you're gonna fight to survive!" Rotom interjected.
"But how does a battle get rid of those concerns?" I asked, even more confused than before.
"Because in a Trainer battle, PokeGirls know and understand that no matter what, they'll have their Trainers to pick the back up." I frowned a bit, thinking of Damien but let her continue. "For some reason, that state seems to remove some instinctual block and everything gets heightened. Ability to channel Type Energy, reaction times, strength, dexterity, all of it!"
"So you think that in the heat of battle she'll just…remove some mental blocks and learn her body better?" I was a bit skeptical. I'm certainly no expert but it honestly just sounded like pseudo science.
"Trust me, I would bet my left tit she'll be just as good as she was by the end." She said with a wide smile.
"Just the left?" I said, a bit amused.
"Hell I'll let you touch em if you can win!" She smirked. "Come onnn, I've been dying for a battle the last couple days." I blushed a bit before sighing.
"How about it honey? Ready to throw down with the elite?" I asked my first PokeGirl. She got a determined look on her face before she buzzed up to hover in front of me.
"Yes!" Anabel cheered before positioning herself behind Espeon. "Alright, here's the rules. 1 on 1, no switches. We'll go until Ribombee is too tired to continue or you guys get a clean hit."
"A handicap for yourself I take it?" I was a little relieved that I wasn't gonna have to go all out. It's too risky to even assume we could beat her. The Brains are the equivalent to gym leaders or in some cases Elite Four, just for a private sector. Throw in her IP training and her psychic powers and it's a hell of a mountain to climb.
She just smirked and folded her arms. Espeon just tilted her head to the side. Oh we already started. "No time like the present! Ribombee, get in close!"
Ribombee grinned as her wing buzzed even faster than what was required to keep her aloft. Since her evolution she had gotten significantly faster. A wider wingspan and not being as tall as a Disney fairy would do that. However all that extra mass and speed translated to one thing: momentum.
Espeon's eyes and gem flashed a light blue light as the air in front of Ribombee vibrated. The Fairy type's eyes widened and she tried to pull up only to end up splatting right into a barrier. I winced as she slowly peeled off the translucent barrier as it faded from view.
"Ribombee, circle around!" I called trying to get her back in the game. Ribombee shook her head and set off circling Espeon counter clockwise. Suddenly she dipped low before pulling up higher. What?
"In front! Go above!" I yelled as another barrier erected itself in front of her and she reversed the beating of her wings to slow herself down and began to climb vertically. Still I noticed her jolting side to side as she went. That's when I saw it.
The fuzz on her body stands up randomly and she dodges away from it. She's sensing something I can't see. I made eye contact with Anabel who just gave a smile as my eyes widened. Same principles as the rope course. Espeon is erecting barriers, some visible and invisible. It's training for us both. I called out another barrier and told Ribombee to dive back down to earth. Ribombee's eyes never left Espeon, practically glued to the Sun PokeGirl. She's focused on the opponent in front of her, trusting me and her own instincts to guide her. Anabel was right, this is fixing her flight issues way faster.
"You gonna attack?" Anabel taunted, reminding me of the rules. Espeon even yawned, which caused Ribombee to growl a bit. I bit my lip in thought. Direct attacks would just bounce off whatever Espeon barrier erected. We need to be close.
"Ribombee! Barrel roll over!" I shouted as she nodded. She came from Espeon's right and began the barrel roll over the barrier that suddenly sprung up. "Now, Silver Wind!" I commanded as she was directly over Espeon's head. Ribombee threw her hands forwards as a light green energy traced up her curves to flow off her arms in a silvery tinged wind. Before it could land however, the wind split around a sudden barrier over Espeon's head. Ribombee growled in frustration as the attack was easily dissipated. She hovered back in front of me as a reset as I began to think again.
Espeon hasn't moved an inch since we started. She also apparently doesn't need to look where her barriers are placed. However… I saw the barrier above her head was in fact closer to her than previous ones. The other ones from earlier paths had disappeared as had the first one on that attack. Either she has a limit to the amount of barriers she has or a reaction time to set them up.
"Ribombee." I whispered lowly hoping she could catch it but our opponents didn't. I saw her shift a bit to signal she was paying attention but I also grimaced as Espeon's ear twitched. "We're gonna try the high speed approach. I wanna see if she can be overwhelmed."
Ribombee nodded and got ready for my signal. Espeon narrowed her eyes as Ribombee tensed.
"...GO!" I shouted and she had turned into a yellow blur. Espeon's eyes actually widened as a visible barrier sprung up in-between them. "Over!" I shouted trying to keep my calls brief and audible. Ribombee had no trouble hearing as she decided to put her new momentum to work for her. She tucked her legs up her chest as she reached the barrier and used the speed she had to actually flip over the barrier. Her fuzz stood on end as she got over as she flung her body out and buzzed her wings to stop herself before darting around an invisible barrier.
"Es…" Espeon growled a bit as Ribombee kept charging. Another barrier appeared before her, probably expecting to cause Ribombee to peel off.
"Over her again!" I shouted and Ribombee veered up, just barely scraping over the new barrier. However, from this angle I could see all the fuzz on her front standing on end. An invisible cover, in that case…
"To the ground!" I shouted as Anabel and Espeon blinked in surprise. Ribombee smiled wickedly as she rolled herself into a ball again and tucked her wings close. She immediately fell down in an arc towards the ground, evading Espeon's invisible cover. A quick buzz of her wings and she was able to turn herself around and land crouched behind Espeon, ready to pounce. "Now!"
"Behind you!" Anabel spoke for the first time as Ribombee used the ground as her springboard. When she was a Cutiefly, her jumping barely caused blades of grass to move. Now, with the new muscle mass and weight, a cloud of dirt exploded out from behind her. She was a speeding bullet as she shot forward, hand outstretched, determined to at least tag the Sun PokeGirl.
Too bad it wasn't meant to be at that moment.
A barrier popped into existence twice as thick as the others as Espeon sent a glare backwards, obviously not appreciating being tricked by an upstart. She impacted with all the grace of a bug on a windshield as she spread eagled on the invisible pane. Tits, flattened. Nose, hopefully not broken.
"Beeeeee…." She groaned as I winced at her misfortune. Anabel and Espeon couldn't help but laugh as she slowly slid down the barrier.
"Ribombee, are you okay?" I asked. Her butt touched the ground as she finally stopped before she shot up. She started stomping her feet as she pointed to the Psychic type.
"Bee! Bee, be, Be!" She shouted at Espeon who laughed even harder at Ribombee's tantrum. I almost called it and apologized to Ribombee. She was already flying smoothly from that shirt bit of training when I stopped myself.
"Ribombee." I said as an idea raced in my head. The Bee Fly PokeGirl pouted at Espeon one last time before she floated over to me. I grabbed her around her hips and held her to my chest to bring her in close. "If you think you've got the energy, I think I've got one last trick." Anabel and Espeon smiled as they waited patiently for us.
Ribombee seemed to think for a minute before grabbing my cheeks and pulling me into a kiss. I felt her tongue wrap around mine for a brief moment before she pulled back. "Ri." She stated confidently before I smiled. I brought her in close to whisper my plan directly into her ear. Anabel tilted her head and frowned as Espeon narrowed her own eyes.
Good, I don't think they can hear us.
I let Ribombee go as she nodded. "Sorry but I think I've got one last trick up our sleeve and I really wanna win. One more round?" I asked. Anabel nodded before Espeon's eyes glowed once more.
"Go!" I called for Ribombee to start the plan. She shot up vertically until she was hovering well over Espeon's head who had turned to look up at her opponent. "Now, Pollen Bomb!" I shouted. Espeon and Anabel looked confused, obviously never hearing my calls for combo or special moves. Ribombee quickly spun in mid air as I saw some light green energy leak out of her. She ran her hands up and down her body gathering an ever growing amount of yellow powder off herself. Her ass and titties jiggling with every motion and bounce. However quickly she started throwing little tuffs of powder everywhere. Some were a lightly colored yellow while others looked like a toxic purple. She continued until a good amount had built up and fallen down before she snapped her fingers.
Instantly all the Pollen Puffs exploded, scattering their payloads across the field. I squinted and held my nose as it drifted down over me and Anabel. Espeon raised an eyebrow at the very obvious and easily defeated attack before Anabel gasped and I smirked.
The pollen drifted slowly except in 5 places where instead they were suspended by 5 barriers. I blew a sharp whistle and Ribombee volleyball spiked one last Pollen Puff right at Espeon. Instantly one of the barriers disappeared and then reappeared above the Sun PokeGirls' head. It didn't move, that's key here.
"Not bad…" Anabel mumbled through her sleeve as she tried not to breathe the pollen.
"Now dive!" I called and Ribombee collapsed her wings against her body and free fell. A barrier popped in front of her but Ribombee didn't falter. She merely buzzes a bit to the right before pulling out of her dive into a clockwise motion around Espeon. She was going full tilt as more barriers appeared.
"Left, Right, Right, Do a barrel roll!" I kept commands flowing as she sped up. With the invisible barriers now rendered moot Ribombee could leave guidance to me as she picked up more and more speed.
"Now!" I shouted as Espeon actually had to turn on her feet to keep her eyes on Ribombee. Ribombee used the force of her spin to accelerate directly at Espeon. Espeon growled as she threw her hands up to erect that same 90 degree barrier to cover her front and top. This time she made it a little higher so that we couldn't go over this time in such a short notice.
Good thing we weren't.
Ribombee displayed phenomenal level control as she flipped over inches from the grass brushing her wings. With her chest to the sky it was like things slowed down for the Bee Fly. She pulled her head back just a little to avoid her nose hitting the bottom of the barrier. She felt the light flick on her nipples as her chest pasted. She could practically feel the vibrating air in her core as she fully passed under.
"Weather Ball!" I shouted elated at her awesomeness.
Ribombee threw her hands forwards and kept herself low as she passed under the shocked Espeon looking down at her. The familiar energy danced along her fingertips. Unlike before with the rain, instead of absorbing energy as it impacted the ball it actually vacuumed up the surrounding pollen into one massive ball of squirming energy. She sent a wink to the Sun PokeGirl as she flew in between her legs as she fired.
The Bug Typed Weather Ball traveled up Espeon's body, passing in-between her tits and impacted her lowered face.
Psychic types almost always had a shield up. It was very rare to see one without and generally only happened when they felt absolutely safe. It was their main major defense and they priced themselves on it. That didn't mean it didn't have its counters. Dark Type Energy was a complete anathema to Psychic Energy. Imagining it as radio frequencies, they would cancel each other out. The Psychic type would then be at the mercy of whatever physical came next, typically a bite or claw.
Ghost Types were inflators. They ignored most bounds of reality so ignoring the bounds of mental fortitude was just another day. A Ghost Type could easily throw off even an experienced and powerful Psychic.
Bug Types and by extension their energy were…unique in their approach when it came to countering Psychics. If one big attack would be repelled by the shield, then why not a million small attacks?
The squirming energy burst as it hit the edge of Espeon's natural barrier. It exploded into hundreds of millions of little lights that scattered across the barrier significantly weakening it until…pop! Like a firecracker the shielding exploded right in front of Espeon's face and threw her head back from the force.
"Eep!" Anabel had to squeal and separate her legs as Ribombee flew through those as well before the Bee Fly could pull up. She raced through the tree canopy as she nearly dodged every branch in her way. Finally she burst through the treetops before spreading her arms midair to the sky.
"BEEEEEE!" She excitedly cheered to the sun and any PokeGirls in a 2 mile radius.
"YEAH! THAT MY GIRL! WOOOOO!" "AMAZING! SIMPLY AMAZING! I GOT THE WHOLE THING!" I cheered alongside Rotom as the possessed device snapped picture after picture. Anabel sighed as she examined Espeon. The Sun PokeGirl was sneezing up a storm from her attack and had a bit of light marking from the explosion of her barrier but was anything worse for wear.
Still, to see a bit of pollen cling to a barrier and come with something like that on the fly? And for Ribombee to be able to execute speaks a lot of their trust and confidence in each other. Anabel thought as the flier returned to her Trainer to be scooped up and showered with kisses and praise.
Espeon huffed as she begrudgingly admitted it was a decent training exercise. Anabel couldn't help but laugh as she was reminded she would have to make good on her promise for her having to handicap herself. Don't worry, love. It'll be just the 2 of us. Espeon blushed slightly as she smiled.
"Well that was exciting. Good job you two!" Anabel called Ribombee beamed at me, her breath hot and heavy. I held her close to my chest before giving her another kiss.
"I'll make sure I reward you later." I whispered in her ear as she shuddered. I pulled her pokeballs out and returned her to it. "For now, just rest up. You did amazing!"
"Well, anything else?" Anabel asked. I looked around the site. I frowned slightly as I wondered where Magikarp had gone off too. I shook my head, I wasn't technically her Trainer so she was free to do whatever she wanted but I just hoped she was alright.
"So let me get this straight." Poliwhirl stated as Magikarp leaned on the bank. The 2 had just got done with drilling the tadpoles on underwater fights. They were still riled up from the other day and it took the 2 of them ages to get them to focus on something other than the mermaid's chest.
Although I won't deny I wanna be buried in those tits… Poliwhirl thought before smacking the thought down.
"You're hiding because the human that passes by here every so often that also lives in the cave by your territorial pool went missing during whatever that was last week, during which you climbed out of your pool to lay in his bedding and cum like crazy to his and his PokeGirls' scent. While you were doing this mind you, Bug Types were rampaging and destroying his nest."
"Yep." She twisted her golden blonde locks between two fingers. Her lower half still slapped the water idly as she relaxed on the bank.
"And your plan is to hide down river, in a field of flowers, that he regularly visits for one of his PokeGirls' dietary needs." Poliwhirl side eyed her current company.
"Yep." She said before rolling over and ghosting her hand over the amphibious girl's core. "Now, are you gonna come over here and put that tongue to work or do I need to find one of the Mankeys?"
Thank you mysterious storm! I am in your debt! Poliwhirl gulped as she slid down into the water and positioned herself above the mermaid's core.
"Good girl…" Magikarp whispered as she ran a hand over the smooth skin of her companion.
The apartment building was a modern construction. Sleek white concrete walls that stood proudly 5 stories high, bisected by larger vertical windows where I could see the hallways of the complex. I could see the balconies of the apartments on either side which offered gorgeous views of either the ocean or the beautiful tropical city. I hope I get an ocean view…
A wrought iron gate surrounded the complex, separating it from the street below. Anabel had me swipe my keycard to let us in. "You know," I said as we passed the immaculately maintained landscaping, "I was expecting something a bit more along the lines of a 3 star hotel. Nothing expensive but not a rat hole. How'd the IP swing this?"
Anabel shrugged as we entered the building. "IP helped fund the construction through a shell company a few years back with the promise of a dedicated safe house for our agents. We didn't know that it would be this upscale but it worked in our favor."
"Well it's a damn good deal then…" I muttered as we rode up to the 5th floor.
"Most of the higher ups use it like a timeshare to be honest." Anabel shrugged. "Alola is pretty peaceful so it's a nice place to send agents to decompress after a bad mission. I don't think it's been used in months."
"They were okay with me using it for an extended period?" I asked.
"Considering you blew the lid off Giovanni's cover identity, my bosses practically threw it at me and ordered me to pump you for more information." She admitted.
"Oh you've already begun making moves on him?" I was a bit surprised. Giovanni was a pro so I doubted they would have been able to start moving quickly without raising some red flags.
"John Thornton, the leader of Viridian City's Gym, suddenly and mysteriously vacated his position after the destruction of his gym. Since then he's been a ghost but Rocket's activity across Kanto and Johto spiked. We've been monitoring everything connected to him and found a bunch of unexplained expense reports and wire transfers. He may have decided to just burn that identity but it makes it tougher for him to come out of hiding now."
"I'll make sure you have a description of him and the other leaders then. Might help you spot them easier. " I said as we stopped in front of one of the doors. "As good as that will do." I tacked on.
"What do you mean by that?" She asked a little confused.
"How easy is it to throw on a wig?" She nodded conceding the point. She probably had an idea of how well a person could disguise themselves. She worked with Looker after all.
"ID the teams and their leaders like you say you can, which I know you aren't lying about being able to, and the IP might just let you keep the apartment as a reward."
"Well let's see what's behind door number one then…" I chuckled as I swiped my key.
The room was an open concept allowing me to see the whole living room and kitchen. A full kitchen set up with light brown cabinets and an island was to my left. The living room had a simple white loveseat couch, glass coffee table and television mounted on the wall in front. Across from the door was a sliding glass door which led out to a railed balcony. Fuck yeah! Ocean view! I thought as I walked in further. White carpet covered the entire floor of the apartment. A small hallway with doors was to my right as I entered. Most likely where the bedrooms and bathroom are…
"2 bed, 1 bath so we'll have to share. Full kitchen, and we've got local cable." Anabel said as she walked in. "Wi-Fi pass is on the fridge." She ran a finger across the island's top and frowned. "Might have to do some cleaning…" she muttered.
"Did you already claim a room?" I asked. I might now have anything to my name again but hey, at least now I might have an actual closet.
"Yeah, I took the room on the right. Toilet's at the end of the hall. " She casually said as she flopped down on the couch. She pulled her shoes off and immediately started massaging her feet, grumbling about how sore they were.
I entered my room and took a quick look around. It was simple and spartan. A full size bed pressed against the corner with a nightstand and lamp. A closet was nestled into one of the corners. It was barren for the most part however. There wasn't even a dresser. Probably only expect agents for a few days at a time. Oh sweet! I got the window! I smiled as I realized I could look out from the apartment to the landscape down below.
"It's pretty nice Master. We'll be pretty private too. I doubt Anabel would be able to hear Pancham if we close the doors." Rotom said as she floated up to the wall. I chuckled at her little aside. Leave it to Rotom to consider the noise complaints.
I exited my new room and walked back into the living room. Anabel was still massaging one of her feet as she channel surfed the TV. "Hey, what's the rule on PokeGirls? Are we just gonna let them out?"
"Well besides Espeon I don't really let the others roam unless we're in a secure and spacious area." Anabel said as she showed her belt. All six pokeballs were active but I couldn't see which one held what PokeGirl. "Bit of a holdover from before I fell into this world but it was considered rude and dangerous to have your Pokemon constantly out. Since for some reason my Pokemon became PokeGirls on the way over we've had to relearn a ton of stuff."
"Was it hard?" I asked. "Adjusting I mean."
She gave a mirthless laugh, "Oh you have no idea. It's probably better for you since you never had Pokemon in real life as a frame of reference. I've had Alakazam since she was an Abra and to suddenly wake up in a world where she had bigger tits than my head…" she grumbled.
"I guess the sexual stuff was the worst?" I couldn't help but be curious about the differences. I had knowledge of Pokemon and of course the concept of humanoid Pokemon wasn't lost on me because of the Internet. But Anabel had her world completely shattered and rebuilt.
"I didn't even know about the whole Type energy affecting sex drive until a Joy beat into my head." She laughed. "It was super weird but now? I wouldn't trade it for anything! We've never been closer!"
"How long have you been here?"
"7 years!" She said proudly, puffing her chest out. I blushed and snapped my eyes to her face.
"So you wouldn't mind if I let my PokeGirls out?" I asked as I fingered their devices. Anabel shrugged.
"I don't mind. I might let Espeon out too but the others are usually content inside their balls. Plus I think Snorlax would take up too much room." She mused.
I nodded and decided to let them out in a bit to give them a tour. I leaned back into the couch as Anabel settled on a show to watch. "Who do you have, if you don't mind sharing?"
"What, you don't know?" She tilted her head with a smirk.
"I'm well informed, not omniscient. I could take an educated guess, if you wanted?" She waved me on to continue, a bit of a challenging look in her eye. She already admitted she has Snorlax and she mentioned Alakazam, her signature. Espeon was from the anime. Who was the 3rd there? Metang? She has 6 balls and all were active so maybe it's closer to her Alola team…
"Espeon, Snorlax, Alakazam." I started with my sure guess. She smiled and nodded. "Weavile, Salamence, Mismagius." She blinked and barked out a laugh.
"Not bad! 6 for 6. How'd you get the other 3?"
"I went based on your team from your media appearances in my world. The only one I didn't say was either a Metang or Metagross. I can't remember which evolution you had."
She kinda leaned away from me as she stared at me. "It's a little weird you know so much about that."
I shrugged, "There's 20 years of media and I might have had a hyper fixation on it. It'll serve me well now. Imagine I came here and didn't know what a Pikachu was?" I smiled.
She shrugged and leaned up to take her jacket off before tossing it on the coffee table. A quick hand towards her belt released Espeon in a bright light. "I think we're gonna take a nap." She yawned as Espeon dutifully took a position on the couch to allow her Trainer to cuddle into her chest. I shrugged and got up allowing the two psychics to enjoy some alone time.
"Hey, Master." Rotom called from my bedside table. She seemed to be scouting out the best place for her new charger when I got it for her. "You should probably take care of Ribombee's needs. I can practically taste the lust leaking out of her pokeball."
She does deserve a reward. Plus it would be the first time we've been intimate since before her evolution. We would be able to finally have…Wait a damn minute…
"You want to record her first time, don't you?" I glared a bit at Rotom who broke out in a cold sweat.
"What?! No! Me? Never!" She nervously exclaimed. "Okay yes I totally do. She's been waiting for this since before her evolution and I just have to see it! To see her face curl in pleasure, her reaction to you filling her up, I wanna preserve it all!"
I sighed. I was never above tending to the needs of my girls. Honestly I felt lucky everytime we were intimate. Still, "New rule. If you record, it stays under lock and key in a private folder. Got it?" I glared at the offending device. She saluted and made a show of her opening and moving a fair few files around. She got me and Pancham under the waterfall too? God damn. "Also, don't make it sound like a chore…" I mumbled as I pulled Ribombee's ball out.
A flash of light and sound filled the room as the shortstack Bee Fly PokeGirl occupied an open space on the floor. She blinked before curiously examining the blank room, oblivious to me for the moment. I cleared my throat to catch her attention and patted my lap. She cheered as she hovered over to sit on my lap facing me. I wrapped my hands around her and gave her a quick kiss.
"You did phenomenal today, Ribombee." I praised her. She immediately melted into a wide smile. "You've been so good lately. You've gotten so strong and even more beautiful since your evolution." I leaned down and whispered in her ear. "That deserves a reward, wouldn't you say?" I whispered huskily into her ear. I could feel the tingle go down her spine and the goosebumps form on her skin. She had a radiant blush as I leaned back for a moment to pull her into a deeper, more intimate kiss.
I blinked awake as I stared at an unfamiliar ceiling. I had gotten used to the hospital's white setrile tiles so seeing a flat eggshell ceiling had thrown me more of a loop than I thought. Ribombee's chainsaw-like snores broke me from my trance as I looked down my bare chest at the Bug Type laying on top of me instead of the perfectly good mattress. Old habits die hard… I thought as I gently rolled the fairy off my chest, careful not to bunch her wings up.
I popped my back as I stood and pulled my clothes back on, a little sore from the activities a few hours earlier. The window was open to let the room air out and I could hear the soft sounds of cicadas - or maybe Nincadas?- drone on the air.
I gently pulled the door open before being satisfied there wasn't anything going on in the apartment. It's been a while since I've had to live with anyone else. Pros: Air conditioning and working plumbing. Cons: A beautiful roommate and her band of beautiful and powerful PokeGirls. Oh no! Woe is me! I chuckled as I entered the main living room. The sliding door was open but no one was out on the balcony. Anabel was on the couch flipping through channels with a napping Espeon on her legs. She had changed from her usual suit and tie and had adopted a light blue T-shirt with a wave on it and a pair of blue running shorts.
"Yo, have a good nap?" She called without looking at me. Espeon snorted slightly before her breathing evened out.
"Something like that." I mumbled as I walked past them to the kitchen. I opened the fridge and frowned a little at the lack of food. The only inside was a case of water bottles. I grabbed a bottle and opened it to drain, "Any plans for dinner?" I asked.
"Why, asking me on a date already? You're quick." She teased as she looked over her shoulder at me.
"So you want me to order you the spiciest thing, is that it?" I deadpanned at her. She pouted and waved me off.
"Nah don't worry about that. I've got it covered." She said nonchalantly. I narrowed my eyes but didn't press. The sound of buzzing wings and yawning signaled Rotom and Ribombee getting out of bed to follow me into the kitchen. The PokeGirls busied themselves with exploring the apartment. I frowned as I realized the sound of Ribombee's wings were much louder indoors.
"I hope we don't get a noise complaint." I commented as I dropped onto the couch. Espeon stretched and threw her legs over my lap as she tried to bury herself deeper into her trainer's side. Anabel smirked a bit at my blush and began scratching behind the psychic fox's ears.
"I think the apartment below us is open right now and we're guaranteed to be the only ones on this floor. We should be fine, just abide by the quiet hours." I nodded before pulling my other 2 pokeballs out. I shot a glance over to Anabel who nodded and released the other half of my team. Pancham immediately gasped and started to run around to explore her new surroundings while Vulpix dutifully followed behind her teammate, a slightly concerned look on her face as the excitable runt ran around. I had to keep my eye on them so I only caught Rotom floating away from Anabel after she was done whispering in her ear.
"What are you two conspiring over there?" I asked and only received an innocent and cheeky grin from both. A few minutes later a knock on the door shocked me out of the game show we had started watching. I glanced at Anabel who gave me an all too innocent smile and nodded her head to the door. "Grab that, would you?" She asked.
I stared at her suspiciously as I walked to the door. Why the hell is she being so coy? I thought as I opened the door.
"SURPRISE!" A chorus of voices yelled as I opened the door and I literally fell backwards into the apartment. Mallow and Lana were at the front with Rapp and Lillie beside them. Sophocles tried to make himself known peeking out from behind the girls with Kiawe and surprisingly Charizard bringing up the rear. They all had a mixture of items they were carrying, from groceries in Mallow's hands to a chester drawers being bear hugged by the Fire-Flying Type.
"What the hell are you guys doing here?" I asked as Anabel died laughing. Rapp gave me a hand to pull me up and shot a questioning look at her.
"Who's she?" She bit out suspiciously.
"My guardian, technically. Still haven't answered my question."
"Anabel let us know you were moving into this apartment and suggested a sleepover to celebrate." Lana explained as others moved past us into the apartment. "Rotom told us most of your stuff got destroyed so Lillie made us do some shopping before we got here. I got you new sheets." She held up a package of cotton sheets that were navy blue with a wave pattern.
"Lillie might still be going overboard." Kiawe said as he stopped beside me. Charizard still bear hugging the dresser. "I don't suppose you have somewhere for this." He said with a bit of exasperation. Charizard rumbled with a bit of laughter at his expense. I nodded and told Charizard which room was mine before watching as everyone got comfortable in the apartment.
"So this is what you meant when you said you had dinner covered." I mused to Anabel who tossed up a peace sign as she returned Espeon.
"To be fair, I just told them to get pizza and I would pay them back." She nodded towards Mallow who was in the process of unpacking her ingredients.
"I can make something for all of us, no problem!" She said confidently as Lillie helped.
"It was such a good idea! We get to celebrate your discharge and we get to have at least one more big gathering before classes start back! We can play games, stay up late, oh it'll be so much fun!" We all squinted at the blinding bright joy from the heiress.
I sighed and resigned myself to a boisterous first night in my next home. I began grabbing and helping my friends unload their really unnecessary purchases and gifts. I could already hear Rotom and Sophocles debating where they should hook up his game system while Togedemaru played with Pancham in the background. Lana and Rapp put Kiawe to work by having him blow up an inflatable mattress, the girls amicably chatting around the red faced boy. Charizard and Espeon seemed to find comfortable company with each other as they sat near the fox's Trainer. Vulpix tried in vain to rouse a shell shocked Lillie after Ribombee, in her absolutely adorable excitement, had hugged the poor girl stiff.
"You know you guys didn't have to buy me anything. Right?" I asked Mallow as I moved to help her prepare dinner. I might not be at her level but I could at least do her prep for her. And she can't even kick me out this time!
Mallow blew a hair out of her face as she set a pan on the stove to heat the oil she had poured in. "Maybe, Maybe not. Call it an early birthday gift." I rolled my eyes but didn't argue. I passed her a plate of chopped greens and sighed as I watched Anabel get roped into whatever conversation Rapp and Lana had gotten heated over.
"So much for a quiet first night huh?" She joked as she joined me.
"Yeah, I planned on doing some reading, maybe some cuddles with my PokeGirls." I faked exasperation. "Now I got 6 hooligans messing up my carpet." I heard her do a little spit take at hooligans as she tried to contain her laughter.
I quickly moved and wrapped her in a side hug, which left her surprised and blushing. "And honestly," I smiled, "I wouldn't have it any other way…"
