The years earlier, Dumbledore cackled as he lifted Delphi of
Out of the basin of water she was baptized in. Delphi shrieked, flailing her chubby arms. Her eyes went red before turning a holy shade of Hazel. As the choir sang hymns dating back to the medieval ages, Delphi's screams subsided into wails.
Dumbledore turned to bthe Slytherins and Ravenclaws in the muggle studies class, on a field trip to the magical church nearby. "That is how you hush a baby, like a good Christian." Delphi reached out her chubby arms to knock over a Bible, in Dumbledore's hands.
Dumbledore secured the infant, Salazar hwir in his arms. "No Delphi, who's a good little Christian girl?"
Delphi saw a snake on the window sill and hissed toddler words in parsletongue to Dumbeldore.
As Delphi hissed Dumbeldore stated reading a passage from the Bible loudly, over Delphi's hissing. He forced Delphi to glance down at the Bible.
Delphi started repeating the Bible verses Dumbledore was reading outlook, but she repeated the verses in parsletongue.
That was when Delphi took a liking to praying in parseltongue.
"Good Christian girl," Dumbledore cooed.
