In the form of a wolf, the orb whined as he felt the boy's pain fade away. Attempting to wake the boy, the orb pulled and tugged at his clothes. Instead of waking up, the corpse fell onto the floor. Grabbing the hood, the orb pulls, but the fabric slips out of his mouth. The boy's body fell again, and the orb felt a shift in its body. Its form began to change, from front legs to arms and hands. The next thing to change was its torso, then the legs, and finally the head. Pushing itself onto its legs, it stands on its feet. Looking at the door, the orb takes its first steps as a human. Stumbling, it manages to push the door open. Taking one last look at the corpse of his first friend, and left in search of new stimuli.
A few months of walking after taking its new form, the orb fell into a river, which led to it spending decades drowning and coming alive again. After a few dozen years, the orb finds itself in Musutafu Dagobah Beach. The beach was becoming the local landfill, and the trash was beginning to taint its surroundings. Its natural desire for new stimuli took it to a small playground. Bushes shrouded its figure as it watched 5 children. 3 of them were standing side by side, looking down on two kids. One had brown hair, while the other was a deep green. The green-haired one stood in front of the brown-haired one and was in what seemed to be a battle stance. "Kacchan! I-I won't let you bully Asahi!" The blonde-haired child stepped forward, making a small boom with his palms. "Or what? You'll beat me with no quirk?" The green-haired one flinched. "Do you... Do you think this is how a future h-hero would act?" To that, the blonde child seemed to feel something similar to fear, although most of it was rage. "What did you say?! I don't want to hear it from you! Quirkless DEKU!" With a right hook, 'Deku' falls to his knees, his eyes filling with tears. The orb flinched from the pain, as the other two kids joined in on the beating.
"People... Are not made equal." Izuku lay on the floor, his body bruised and aching. Sitting up, Izuku quickly thinks of a way to explain to his mother why he's bruised. Despite how Bakugo treated him, he still thinks they are both friends. After all, heroes forgive. Suddenly, a white-haired teenager in strange clothing falls onto the floor, blood flushing out of their face. The orb's host body had died from starvation, so it accidentally revealed itself to the boy. "Huh?" The loud thump of flesh alerted Izuku. Being the kind child he is, he immediately showed concern. "! Are you okay?!" Izuku approached the boy, who twitched a bit before pushing himself up, his broken nose fixing itself. "Ahh." With a sigh of relief, Izuku smiles a bit. "Th-thank goodness! I thought something happened. Um... Was that your quirk?" The boy stared at Izuku. "Um, my name is Izuku Midoriya. What's yours?" The boy said nothing. "Oh! Are you a foreigner?" Izuku began to make hand signs, attempting to communicate something. Without any reply, the sound of a stomach rumbling came from the traveler. "Oh. Are you hungry? I have..." Izuku found his bag lying next to the playground bench. Opening it, it showed two rice balls contained in a little lunch box. "Two rice balls. I'm not hungry, so you can have them!" Izuku offered a rice ball to the boy. Instead of holding it with his hands, the boy took a bite out of one of them, like an animal. "Uh..." The boy ate the riceballs vigorously, spilling rice onto Izuku. "Haha, is it that good? My mom made the filling herself." The boy offered no reply. "Here, the other one." The boy ate slower this time but was still a sloppy eater. The boy looked at Izuku expectantly. "Do... Do you want more? I'm sorry but I don't have any more." The boy continued to stare, to the point Izuku started to become intimidated. "We might have more food at home... Do you wanna come over? If you don't have a place to stay of course." The boy did not reply. "Follow me, I'm sure mom will let you stay the night!" With the boy in tow, Izuku walks home.
"Mom, I'm home. I brought a guest too." The boy looked around the entrance of the Midoriya's apartment. Compared to his first shelter, the orb knew this was a very different world. "A guest?" A woman came out of the kitchen, with similar green hair as Izuku. "Who is this Izuku?" "H-he's a foreigner. I don't think he has a place to stay, so... I brought him home." "I... I'll see what I can do. Can he speak Japanese?" "I don't think he can. He hasn't said anything." Izuku's mother stared at the boy. He was blankly staring around the room, having yet to say anything. "Where did you meet him?" Izuku looked at the guest. "He was at the playground, wandering around one of the plant places? Where the bushes are. He seemed hungry, and ate my riceballs." Inko was... suspicious at best. "I-I see. Um... I'll get dinner ready. I'm sure two rice balls aren't enough to make him full." Walking back to the kitchen, she looks back one more time. Izuku was helping the boy take off his shoes, which seemed to be stuck to him with some kind of membrane. "Woah, his clothes are stuck to him! I-Is this also part of your quirk?" The boy stared at Izuku. Ripping off the shoes proved to be strangely easy, as the membrane peeled off like an orange. Despite that, his skin seemed undamaged. "That's so cool! I liked the feeling of peeling it off. It was funny!"
Over a few days, the boy, who Izuku started calling Fushi, diligently brought Izuku to school. Turning his head Izuku stops his friend. "Thanks again Fushi! See you at home." Fushi stayed silent and only looked at him blankly. "Jeez... We should teach you how to talk." Before Izuku could say anything else, firecrackers suddenly went off. "Deku! Who's this foreigner you got here?!" Bakugo stomped his way to the boy. "H-he's... Er..." Fushi could feel animosity, something he was not used to being directed to him. This set off a chain reaction of him transforming into a wolf, shocking Izuku and Bakugo, and when he started growling, scaring both of them. "What the!" "F-Fushi! Calm down!" Izuku grabbed onto the wolf's side. Calming down a bit, the white wolf stopped growling. "K-keep that thing in check! Dumbass!" Pushing Izuku, Bakugo runs off. "K-Kacchan." Looking back to Fushi, Izuku stands back up. "Thanks f-for protecting me, but Kacchan is just playing around." Still, in his wolf form, Fushi stares at Izuku. "A-Also, you can transform into a wolf? Your quirk is so versatile!"
After getting scared of Fushi, Bakugo seemed to hit Izuku even harder. "That mutt of yours! Don't you know you gotta put down dangerous dogs?" "H-he's not dangerous, he was w-worried about me!" With another bout of anger, Bakugo punches Izuku in the head. "Shut up! Before I go and kill that dog myself!" After every beating, Izuku went home, trying to calm his tears. At home, he spent most of his time teaching Fushi how to read and speak, he began to piece together coherent phrases. "I want more learn." His first sentence, after learning how to speak was asking Izuku to teach him more. "G-good job! But it's actually 'I want to learn more.'" "...Hungry."
10 years after learning how to speak, Fushi met the Man in Black for the first time. While walking with Izuku, he noticed movement in a manhole. "Fushi? What's wr- aurng!" Before Izuku could finish his question, the sludge monster leaped out, covering Izuku in its mass. " "Izuku!" Transforming into a wolf Fushi leapt into the fray, biting and ripping off chunks of sludge. "A medium-sized invisibility cloak, and a transforming one too! Lucky me!" "Fushi! Please run away, you can't beat it!" He continued to try and pull out Izuku, biting and trying to grab onto his clothes. With a swing of his arms, the villain wacks Fushi into the wall, crushing his body. Regenerating his battered body, Fushi stands up one more time. "I'm sorry Izuku! Please... Hold on!" With a snarl, Fushi jumps onto the 'head' of the slime and bites one of the eyes. "AAHG! Bastard!" With a huge swipe, the slime attempts to slap Fushi off, but he learns from his mistake and easily dodges out of the way. With a bite, Fushi pulls out Izuku's arm, but the slime doubles its grip "You NUISANCE!" The slime shoots its arm in the shape of a net and grabs Fushi. With a last yelp, Fushi's jaw is clamped down by foul goo. "Damn it!" With no other choice, Fushi could only struggle.
"Hee hee HA!" Cackling, the sludge villain continues to choke Izuku and Fushi. Izuku, who began to lose consciousness, noticed something falling from the sky. It was large and had two noticeable yellow strands sticking up like rabbit ears. "Do not fear. Why? For... I! Am! HERE!" With a 'Detroit Smash!' All Might threw a huge shockwave and flew through the bridge, just barely precise enough to leave Fushi and Izuku from harm. "Oh shi-" The villain was split into dozens of pieces, knocking him out. Izuku began to cough out pieces of sludge and looked up to All Might. "A-A-A-ALL MIGHT!"
