Chapter Forty-Six

Revelations

Meanwhile high in the sky, the Decepticon Warship was currently flying through a storm.

Starscream stood at the helm of the bridge looking out at the front watching the lightening split the skies, then the doors opened breaking into his thoughts, and he turned around to see who was coming through.

"It's about time, Knockout." He growled then turned back to look out the front of the ship as the storm raged on.

"I do not enjoy being kept waiting."

The bot in being addressed was a mech with flashy red and white armour, and he was wearing a proud smirk on his face as he picked something out the front of his chest and flicked it away.

If no-one was none the wiser, they wouldn't have thought he was a Decepticon as he didn't have the colours of one which was mostly grey, black, or purple.

"Ah, it was a long drive, Starscream." Knockout defended "I'm still picking bugs out of my grill."

He picked out another said bug and flicked it away.

Starscream narrowed his eyes as he looked at Knockout who sauntered over to him, his head high and proud and he grumbled.

"Yes… right… you're one of those." He muttered in annoyance.

"Come again?" Knockout asked in confusion cocking his head as he looked at the Seeker who looked him over with disapproval.

"Never understood why any self-respecting Decepticon would choose automobile as his vehicle mode… when he could have flight." He explained.

"I like the way I look in steel belted radians." Knockout replied vainly.

Starscream merely shook his head in annoyance.

It was true what he said, he never understood how a Decepticon would choose a land Vehicle rather than a jet or some other flying vehicle mode, since in his opinion flying meant that one could get to places quicker, or even use as an advantage in battle.

During the Great War on Cybertron, Starscream prided himself on being one of the air attacks and he was able to shoot down and surprise attack the autobots who had no choice when it came to vehicle modes, and they could only choose those of land which were not a superior, at least in his mind as those who could fly.

But he pushed away those thoughts as he had more pressing issues and started to lead the red Decepticon to where he needed to be.

"I take it Lord Megatron requires a laboratory assist?" Knockout asked, as Starscream led him to the ship's medical bay/laboratory.

Starscream stopped in front of the lab entrance.

"You…might say that." He answered vaguely as he opened the doors into the sickbay.

As he did, Knockout was surprised at the sight that was greeting him, for lying on the metal berth was Lord Megatron, a large hole in his chest, his armour filthy and damaged and large cables hooked up to him providing life support.

"Whoa…" Knockout remarked as he looked at Megatron's damaged body.

"Sadly our inevitably, former Lord Megatron has been like this for some time." Starscream explained stated as Knockout walked over to get a closer look at Megatron's body.

"But the crew took a vote," Starscream grumbled as he remembered mainly through the silent pressure of Soundwave that a vote needed to be made about the Warlord's fate.

"And it was decided that an expert might put him on the road of recovery." He ended narrowing his eyes as he was still annoyed that the crew wanted to give their former Leader and Master a chance at recovering.

"I've done plenty of body work, Starscream, but I'm better at breaking 'em than fixing 'em." Knockout confessed as he unfolded his drill from his arm to prove his point before folding the drill back into his arm.

"It would help if I had my assistant." He sighed looking over his shoulder.

"I summoned the both of you." Starscream countered "Where is he?"

"We were hot on a fresh Energon trail when you called." Knockout explained. "Breakdown will show once he's through scouting it." He grinned.

Meanwhile Bulkhead, Pandora and Kemeko had arrived in Greece at the co-ordinates Ratchet had.

Bulkhead opened his doors and Pandora and Kemeko exited before he transformed into his bipedal mode.

"Here we are!" Bulkhead announced as he pulled out an energon scanner from his chest compartment.

"Awesome!" the girls cheered, and they looked ahead to see many ruins in an excavation site which was luckily abandoned for now as it was slowly getting dark yet there were some lights still one providing more direct light as the sun was slowly setting.

They could see many pillars and stairs which gave off the indication that this was an Ancient Roman city buried long ago but was now being uncovered.

"This is amazing!" Pandora said, "I always wanted to see History in real life, and now here we are!"

"I'll say!" Kemeko agreed "Let's take a closer look."

"Don't go too far okay girls?" Bulkhead reminded them as he looked at his scanner which was beeping loud and fast.

"Hmm… signal's strong." He said as he scanned the area along with the girls. "According to my scanner, humans hit Energon veins. And they don't even know it."

"They wouldn't, would they?" Kemeko shrugged as she and Pandora started to climb down into the site so they could look around more and Pandora took out her shell-cell to take pictures.

Bulkhead watched the girls making sure they stayed within his sight, even though he was scouting, he knew he had to make sure Pandora and Kemeko were safe, as he knew the Hamato Clan and Optimus would have his tailpipe if anything happened.

Amongst the many ancient pillars and steps that had been uncovered by the bulldozers and wheelbarrows, he suddenly saw an ancient painting amongst them.

Narrowing his optics he studied it more.

It was of a man with a white hair and beard in green robes and a sceptre, yet that wasn't what caught the Wrecker's attention, it was of the glowing golden orb in his hand.

He climbed into the excavation site and started to get closer to it, at the same time, Pandora and Kemeko were walking over to it and were taking pictures.

"Whoa." Bulkhead gasped in surprise. "That's Cybertronian!"

Pandora and Kemeko looked over at Bulkhead.

"Beg pardon?" Kemeko asked.

"Seriously?" Pandora questioned with a raised eyebrow looking at the wrecker then back at the painting.

"Why would Ancient Greeks paint an Energon Harvester?" Bulkhead wondered aloud.

"You know what that round thing actually is?" Pandora exclaimed in surprise.

"You're smarter than you let on." Kemeko chuckled.

"But even dumber than he looks."

An intimating voice stated from behind them making Bulkhead stiffen and he and the girls immediately turned around.

Approaching them from the top of some newly dug up steps within the site, was a Cybertronian Mech.

He was the same size as Bulkhead. His eyes were yellow and the main colours in his body were grey and blue with the occasional orange on his face and the blinker lights on his hips.

"Who's that?" Pandora asked nervously pulling Kemeko close to her.

"Breakdown…" Bulkhead identified with a growl.

The two girls went pale as they guessed this was a Decepticon, even though he didn't look like the others they had seen or encountered recently.

Breakdown smirked and chuckled.

"Ha, ha, ha. Miss me?" He asked mockingly.

"Like the rust in my undercarriage." Bulkhead retorted.

"You know this guy?" Pandora questioned in disbelief.

"We have a history." Bulkhead replied vaguely.

"And you have a couple of pets." Breakdown sneered before he grabbed a pillar next to him.

"Do they play catch?" He asked nastily as ripped a nearby pillar out of the ground and lifted it over his head.

"Catch!" He shouted before throwing the pillar right at Pandora and Kemeko.

The two girls reacted and jumped away from each other to avoid it, However, Bulkhead knelt directly in front of the oncoming danger and took the hit himself making them both gasp in horror and concern.

"Pandora! Kemeko Stay down!" Bulkhead warned them.

Pandora grabbed Kemeko and they ran for cover, meanwhile In the smoke from when the pillar hit him, Bulkhead didn't see Breakdown coming at him.

Therefore, when he turned around, he was caught off guard when Breakdown's body slammed into him and knocked him down, both of them tumbling down the excavation sight. As that happened, Breakdown gained the advantage, and he threw Bulkhead into the nearby wall.

The ancient stone section grumbled under his weight, destroying the picture.

"Oops. Hope the pretty picture wasn't too important." Breakdown tormented as Bulkhead shook off stars and sat up, yet before the wreaker could get on his pedes, Breakdown transformed into his vehicular mode and drove away.

As he did, Pandora and Kemeko got up from their hiding place just in time to see him retreating.

"Coward!" Pandora spat "Running away from a fight!"

Kemeko meanwhile was more concerned about Bulkhead as she ran over to him.

"Bulk! Bulkhead!" she called "Are you alright?!"

"Told you I'm good at breaking things." Bulkhead remarked.

"But at least you're okay!" Kemeko comforted.

"Yeah!" Pandora said running over yet she glared at where Breakdown had fled then held up her shell cell.

"And don't fret! We got you covered!" she showed Bulkhead the photos she had taken of the destroyed picture.

"Well done girls!" Bulkhead praised "Now let's show them to the others back at Base!" he stood up and looked around.

"Eh, sorry to cut the field trip short." He said sheepishly.

"It's alright." Pandora and Kemeko said together.

"Maybe we can come back another time when there's no-one trying to kill us?" Pandora asked with a shrug.

"I guess." Bulkhead said before coming Ratchet to send them a Ground-Bridge and report what they found back to Base.

Knockout and Breakdown have made their apperance! I'm not ashamed to admit, when I watched the 'Transformers Prime' show, I always loved Knock Out! I've been excited to bring him into the fic!
