Chapter Fifty-Nine

Narrow Squeak

Back at the lake in Australia, Optimus, Kemeko and Pandora were stuck at what to do when it came to their situation of a sailing boat full of teens who could see them and blow their cover.

Yet Pandora seemed to have thought of an idea and Kemeko saw her smirk.

"I think I got a plan." The hybrid cackled.

"I don't like that look, Pandora." She said as she knew that look, and it meant something really naughty, or risky, yet Pandora's smirk didn't fade.

"I could give those teens such a scare they'll faint!" the hybrid suggested with a cackle "the creature from the black lagoon here to get them! Or better yet, Lizard Samara Morgan!"

As she said that she pulled her wet hair over her face and held up her hands clawing them.

Kemeko was appalled as she looked at her cousin.

"You wouldn't dare!"

Optimus meanwhile looked at the two girls in confusion.

"I am unfamiliar with these terms." He said yet both girls didn't answer him but continued their argument.

"Why not?" Pandora challenged her cousin "It's not like anyone would believe them? Drunk teens on a boat, they say a monster jumped up from the water? Whose gonna believe that?!"

Kemeko opened her mouth to speak but she paused and looked at Optimus who looked back at her as they let Pandora's words sink in.

"I hate to admit it," Kemeko told the Prime "But she's probably right. And we don't have many other options."

Optimus nodded as he thought about it.

"As long as it causes no real harm to either of you, or to them." He consented.

Pandora grinned then looked at Optimus winking and clicking her tongue.

"Don't worry Big guy! We got this!" she looked towards the boat and saw how it was getting closer to their position.

"Yikes," she yelped "You better get underwater Optimus, once we got the teens out cold, we'll swim down and let you know!"

Optimus nodded.

"Very well. I will await your signal." He said then submerged himself in the water out of sight.

Kemeko watched him then turned to her cousin.

"I hope you know what you're doing!" she said in a serious tone to her cousin.

"Trust me!" Pandora assured her cousin then looked to the boat.

"Okay Kemeko, here's the plan, I'll swim to the left side of the boat, you to the right we'll start by tapping and scratching the sides, then I'll jump up and scare them, you then appear on the other side and use your pressure points to knock them out as they're distracted, then we let Optimus know it's safe and we get out of here!"

Kemeko frowned, she didn't like the idea as it seemed risky but there really was no other way around it.

"Okay." She said, "Again I hope it works."

"If our parents find out about this, we are so dead." She thought.

"Okay, lets go!" Pandora said before taking a dive and swimming towards the boat.

Kemeko took a deep breath and followed her cousin.

"Please let this work, otherwise we're in big trouble."

On the sailing boat, completely unaware of who was in the Lake with them, four teenagers, two girls and two boys, or rather two couples were laughing and talking as they drank cans of lager and listened to music on a docking station on the deck.

The girls were dressed in bikinis, one was blonde with a blue bikini and the other was a redhead wearing an intense green one whilst their boyfriends, a tanned blonde man wore red trunks, and a dark-skinned brunette wore yellow trunks.

"Perfect evening, right?" the blonde girl asked.

"Oh, for sure!" the dark-skinned boy agreed as he took a sip of lager "Your dad was indeed generous to let us borrow the boat for the weekend!"

"He said we were welcome to use it." The blonde girl said, "As long as we don't damage it and keep it clean."

"The old man's got no worries." The blonde boy said, "It's in good hands with us!"

"It had better be!" the red-head girl said, "Otherwise it's out of our pockets the damages get paid!"

"That and I get banned from my dad's boat for life!" the blonde girl agreed.

"Well let's have fun and not worry too much!" the blonde man said "Lets party and have fun!"

"Absolutely!" the rest of the teens joined in and they started to dance on the deck and laugh together excitedly.

Just then the teens heard a scratching on the side of the boat and the red headed girl stopped the music on the docking station.

"Did you feel that?" she asked.

"What was that?" her blonde friend asked then she heard a tapping on the other side of the boat.

"What's going on?" she asked "Whose doing that?

She walked to the edge of the boat and looked over, yet she saw nothing.

What she didn't know was that Kemeko and Pandora were keeping themselves hidden under the water each time they looked over, as they tapped and scratched the sides of the boat to put the teens on edge.

After a couple of minutes, and seeing the teens looking edgy, Pandora decided it was time to strike and he gave Kemeko a thumbs up before diving down deep in the water then she used her tail as a propeller to give her some speed and she launched herself out of the water roaring and snarling like a feral animal!

As she did that, the teens were shocked, and they jumped back dropping their drinks!

"What the Hell!?" they screamed.

"A monster?!" one of the young men cried.

They fell backwards on the deck as Pandora landed on it, still snarling, and gurgling with her wet hair over her face.

At the same time, Kemeko climbed up the other side as snuck up on the teens who had their backs to her and quick as a flash, she used her knowledge of pressure points and struck them on their necks one at a time to render them unconscious!

As the last teen collapsed on the deck, Pandora stopped growling and pulled her hair out of her face and cheered.

"Oh yeah!" she cheered "Whoooo! My plan worked flawlessly!" she started to do a little dance on the deck whilst Kemeko checked them over.

"We got lucky this time, Pandora. It could have gone a lot worse." She reminded her cousin, yet Pandora seemed too excited to care as she continued to cheer and dance around.

"It might of, but it didn't luckily," she said then picked up one of the soft canned drinks from the cooler took a drink as well as tossed one to Kemeko.

"Oh boy! I'm so psyched I could die!" she cheered doing a backflip.

"Calm down," Kemeko said taking a sip of her can.

"And let's go get Optimus as soon as possible, these guys won't stay asleep forever, you know!"

That brought the hybrid back to earth and she agreed.

Alright! Alright!" she groaned as she finished the drink and tossed it in a bin nearby. "I'll go get the Big O!" she dived off the boat and swam down to where Optimus was submerged, and she soon found him kneeling under the water.

Waving her arms and tail as well as blowing bubbles to alert him, she got his attention and pointed to the surface to tell him it was safe to resurface.

Seeing the Hybrid, Optimus nodded, and he slowly stood up straight and reappeared.

"I take it, it went well." He asked as he saw the boat and the unconscious teens on it as well as Kemeko watching over them in case they woke up.

"All things considered, yeah." Kemeko reported then pointed to the dock a few miles ahead "Do you think you could put their boat closer to the shore, just so that they're not in any danger?" she requested.

The Prime nodded.

"A simple task." He said, "But then we must be on our way."

"Good idea, as Kemeko said those morons won't sleep forever!" Pandora said then grinned and clapped her hands "Oh man! It was so epic! Those teens didn't know what hit them!"

Optimus carefully picked up the sailing boat and carefully placed it next to the dock and Kemeko tied a rope from the boat to the dock so it wouldn't drift away.

"Great job Prime!" she called up "Let's just hope that they really don't remember anything when they wake up."

Pandora chuckled.

"Well even if they do, I bet they'll think it was the booze, or just a bad dream."

"Let us hope so." Optimus agreed. Neither of us would fare well if we were to be discovered.

"No shit." Pandora agreed "Let's get back to base, before anything else happens…"

"Good idea." Kemeko said.

Pandora looked at Optimus as he gathered Kemeko and Pandora in his servos.

"What of the energon?" the hybrid asked to which Optimus gave a reassuring smile and wink.

"It is safely in my subspace storage." He clarified "Again, I thank you girls for finding it."

"You're welcome!" Kemeko smiled.

Pandora grinned and clapped her hands.

"Man, I can't wait to tell Uncle Mike, Bulkhead and Bumblebee about what happened today!" she cheered.

Holding the girls in his servos, Optimus waded back onto the shore where they had left their clothes and belongings.

"Time to go, girls." He said, "I will call Ratchet for a ground bridge."

"On our way, Optimus." Kemeko said as the Prime placed them carefully on the ground and they gathered their clothes and belongings.

Optimus at the same time contacted Ratchet and transformed into his truck form and the girls quickly jumped inside.

Pandora meanwhile was still buzzing with excitement after what had happened and was still singing and cheering.

"Man, that was so awesome!" she laughed.

Kemeko meanwhile face palmed.

"I'm never gonna hear the end of this, am I?" she groaned.

"Nope, nope, nope!" Pandora laughed then started to drum on Optimus's dashboard.

"We got the touch! We got the power! Yeah!" she shouted.

Optimus meanwhile sighed and muttered to himself.

"Our lives here on Earth have certainly gotten more interesting since meeting these organics."

He started his engine and started to drive away, at the same time a ground-bridge appeared, and he went through it, Pandora still laughing, cheering, and singing in excitement.

"Oh man! I wish I had the camera!" she said, "That was just so awesome and Epic!"

After five minutes they arrived back at the base to find Ratchet standing at his screens, Michelangelo and Donatello on the raised platform playing a video game together and Splinter and Leonardo on the ground doing some sparring.

As soon as the Ground Bridge was fired up, everyone stopped what they were doing and looked over.

"Welcome back Optimus." Ratchet said as Optimus drove in and after letting the girls out, he transformed and stood up straight.

"How did it go?" Donatello asked then saw Pandora looking excited and Kemeko rather worried.

"Did something happen?" he asked cocking his head then saw the girls were wet.

Before Optimus or Kemeko could speak, Pandora spoke up.

"Oh man! Have we got a story for you!" she cheered.

"You have?" Michelangelo asked taking his attention away from the game.

"Calm down Pandora!" Kemeko said then looked around "Where's Bulkhead, Ironhide and Bumblebee?" she asked.

"Ironhide's on another scouting mission in the state of Montana." Ratchet reported "And Bulkhead and Bumblebee are unloading the Energon they found in the depository."

"Ah right." Kemeko said.

Pandora also looked around and couldn't see her parents nor Arcee anywhere which brought her mood down a few pegs,

"Where's mum and dad?" she asked "And Arcee?"

"We haven't heard from them in a while." Ratchet reported "They seem to be, out of communications."

"You think they're alright?" Pandora asked worriedly.

"Try not to fear Geisha." Leonardo said, "I know your parents are strong and Arcee's with them, she'll be protecting them."

"She will indeed." Splinter agreed "and your mother and father will look after each other as their main focus will be returning to you my child, and to us."

"Okay." Pandora sighed, her mood changing dramatically from excitement of the day's events to slight concern for her parents.

"Ratchet, keep the communications open for when Arcee or Raphael and Monalisa get in touch." Optimus said then looked down at the girls "You two get yourselves cleaned up and rested."

"Okay, thanks Optimus." Kemeko said then took Pandora's hand to lead her to the showers whilst the Prime walked over to the Screens to see if he as well could see when the communications to Arcee, Raphael and Monalisa would appear.

Optimus, Pandora and Kemeko got out of their pickle and have arrived back at the Autobot Base, yet they've realised Arcee, Monalisa and Raphael are out of communications, and a lot of you do know why.

Note: I bet those who are Transformers Buffs got the song Pandora chanted at the end there! lol!
