Charmander- The Stray Pokémon
With Bulbasaur and Bulb as their newest Pokémon, Ash and Jovan and their friends are making their way triumph to Vermillion City. Aren't they?
"There's nothing but Spearow around here." Ash said, removing the binoculars.
"Well that's the least of our worries isn't?" Misty asked, who was sitting down next to a stump.
"Just because we're lost doesn't mean I have to stop catching all the Pokémon I can. Does it?" Ash said, looking at Misty.
"Chu." Pikachu nodded, sitting on the tree stump.
"Of course not." Misty said sarcastically. "Enjoy yourself."
Our friends have gotten off track.
Jovan and Anna were sitting across from Misty as Seth and Slade was looking at the map with Brock. July was lying down on her back against the nice soft grass, looking up at the clear blue sky.
"I just can't take one more step further." Misty sighed. "We've been looking for Vermillion City for ten whole days!"
Brock bent down next to her. "There's a bug right on your-"
"AAHH!" Misty shouted. "Get it away!" Misty got up quickly and got on top of Ash.
"It was just a piece of grass." Brock chuckle, picking the grass and showing it to Misty.
"Grr." Misty growled.
"Ha ha!" Brock laughed, putting his right hand behind his head.
Misty kicks him in the face and Brock was laying on the ground.
"I'm going crazy!" Misty shouted. "Where are we?!"
Ash caught the map. "According to this, we're right in the middle of nowhere." Ash said, looking at the map. "But it looks like Route 24 lead to Vermillion City." Ash turns map over and showed it to everyone.
"Does this trail take us to Route 24?" Misty asked, with a smile on her face.
"According to my calculations it does." Ash said.
"Alright!" Misty cheered getting her bag. "Let's get this show on the road!"
As Misty started walking, she notices two shadows. When she looks up, she gasps. Standing in her front of her was big silhouette.
"Hey Ash." Misty said. "Take a look at this."
"It looks like some giant Pokémon." Ash said as everyone else got their stuff. "Pikachu."
Pikachu hid behind the bags as Dratini took a fighting stance.
"Pikachu!" Ash complains, walking up to Pikachu.
Ash ran up besides Misty and Brock to get a closer look.
Sitting on the rock was two Pokémon. They are both bipedal, reptilian Pokémon with an orange body, though its underside and soles are cream-colored. It has two small fangs visible in its upper and lower jaws and blue eyes. Its arms and legs are short with four fingers and three clawed toes. A fire burns at the tip of the Pokémon's slender tail.
"Two Charmander." Brock gasps.
"Char." The first Charmander yawned.
Ash, Brock and Misty fell down. Everyone got out their Pokédex.
"Charmander. A flame burns on the tip of its tail from birth. It is said that a Charmander dies when it flames go out."
"When I went to get my first Pokémon from Professor Oak, I was disappointed because I couldn't get a Charmander." Ash said. "Now I can catch my own."
"I don't know." Misty said, looking the two Charmander closely.
"It would be nice to have my own Charmander on my team." Jovan said.
"They look like they're both in bad shape." Anna said.
"Yeah." Brock nodded. "Catch them and we'll bring it to the Pokémon Center for help."
"Pokéball, go!" Ash threw the Pokéball at the first Charmander. The first Charmander notices it coming and spun to hit the Pokéball back at Ash. Ash caught it with both hands.
"Huh?" Brock asked confused.
"It looks pretty healthy to me." Ash said looking at Brock. "Do you think I should have Pikachu to battle it first to weaken it to make it easier to catch?"
Anna looks at Ash. "Why don't you have Misty do it?" Anna asked. "Her water Pokémon can be strong against them."
"Hold on a minute." Seth said. "Take a look at their flame on the tail."
They all notice that the flame was small.
"Jovan, look at the second Charmander." July said.
Jovan notices a small scar on the second Charmander's left eye. "Oh man." Jovan muttered.
"There's no way that these two have the strength battle." Brock said. Brock looks at Ash. "Ash, try the Pokéball one more time."
"All right." Ash said, looking back at the first Charmander. "I will. Pokéball, go!" Ash threw the Pokéball one more time and it made contact as the first Charmander turned into red energy before going inside the sphere.
"All right!" Ash cheered.
The Pokéball shook for a second and released the first Charmander and the Pokeball landed on Ash's head.
"Ow!" Ash complained.
"It sure does have a lot of spunk." Slade said with his arms crossed.
Jovan turned his head to the left to look at Slade. "Too much if you ask me." Jovan said.
"This Charmander has an attitude problem." Misty said.
Pikachu walks up to the rock and climbs to the top to see the two Charmander along with Dratini.
"Pika pika." Pikachu said.
"Char man char…" Charmander said.
"Pika cha." Pikachu said as Pikachu and Dratini went back to their friends.
"So what's the story Pikachu?" Ash asked, looking down at Pikachu.
"Pikachu." Pikachu said, bringing both paws up to his neck and moved it paw down.
"A necktie?" Misty asked confused.
"A man maybe." Ash said.
"Pika!" Pikachu cheered.
"And a woman I'm guessing." Jovan said.
Dratini nodded her head.
Pikachu moved his arms from the right to the left, imagining putting something down.
"I don't get it." Misty said.
Seth looks at Ash. "Hey Ash, why don't you figure out what Pikachu is saying." Seth said.
They all knelt down to Pikachu.
"Pika pika." Pikachu said. " Pika pi pi pika chu."
"Hm. Hm." Ash said before standing back up. "Okay, I think I got it. Pikachu says that these two Charmander is waiting on this rock for somebody to come pick it up."
They all look back the two Charmander.
"You mean it belongs to somebody?" Misty asked.
"Looks like it." Jovan said.
"But I'm not exactly sure." Ash said.
"If they're waiting for somebody, I think we better leave them." Brock said as they all stand back up.
"You're right." Seth said. "It's probably best for its trainer to come back for them."
"I hope their trainer comes back soon." Jovan said as they turned around, walking away.
July turns her head around to look at the scar on the second Charmander. "That's a fresh scar." July thought before turning her head forward.
"Aarr." The first Charmander said, looking up at the sky.
They've been walking for a few minutes until Misty saw the Pokémon Center.
"Hey you guys." Misty said, running up a few feet. "Look over there."
All the way at the bottom of the hill was the Pokémon Center.
"It's the Pokémon Center." Misty said, looking back at her friends.
"That was on the map." Jovan said. "Which means Route 24 is not far from where we are."
But then it began to rain.
"Pi?" Pikachu asked, looking up.
"Hurry!" Ash yelled as they all ran to the Pokémon Center.
Back at the rock, the two Charmander was snuggling together while holding a two leaves to prevent the flame on their tail to go out.
There was several different trainers there. Ash was sitting across from Brock at a table, looking out the window while Misty, Anna and July brought some soup. Pikachu was sitting on a chair.
"Here you go guys." Anna said.
Jovan, Seth and Slade was sitting at a table next to their friends. Jovan sat across from Seth and Slade while Dratini sat next to Jovan.
"Thanks." Jovan, Seth and Slade said.
"Thanks, Misty." Ash said, getting ready to eat.
"Here's some soup Brock." Misty said. Misty notices that Brock was thinking about something.
"What's wrong Brock?" Misty asked.
"I wonder." Brock said. "Do you think anybody pick up that Charmander yet? What if their trainers left them there?"
"I don't think the two Charmander would wait around this long." Ash said. "Do you?"
"I don't either Ash." Brock said. "Their trainers must've gotten them by now."
Jovan looks up from his soup to see his sister not eating. "What's wrong July?" Jovan asked.
"It's about the second Charmander with the scar." July said.
"I wonder how it got the scar in the first place." Seth said.
"It probably got the scar as Kovu did, remember that?" Anna asked.
"Who knows." July said.
"Ha ha ha."
They all notices a boys and a girl, sitting at a table near the fire with a lot of Pokéballs on the table.
"That's a pretty cool collection." The first boy said.
"Just look at them." a boy said. The boy was wearing a pink shirt, a brown sleeveless coat, a brown belt, black pants and black shoes. His hair is blue and the color of his eyes is black.
"This is a pretty cool collection." The boy said, crossing his arms.
"Way cool." The second boy said.
"You're the man, Damian." The third boy said.
"I thought the two of you had a Charmander." The fourth boy said.
Sitting on Damian's right side was a girl. The girl was wearing her red shirt under a white shirt with a pink tie, short black pants, long black lace socks and black shoes. She has long blond hair with two red ribbons on either side of her head and the color of eyes is sky blue.
"Yeah." Damian said, opening up one eye. "We both had one but those two puny things can't even beat the weakest opponents."
"Not to mention that those two will evolve anytime soon." The girl chuckled.
Misty, Anna and July all sat down in their chairs.
"I don't like his attitude." Misty said, folding her arms.
"What is she doing here?" Jovan growled, looking at the girl.
"You know her?" Brock asked.
July looks at him. "Yes we do." July said. "Her name is Eon Garson"
Eon Garson is a spoiled rich girl. Eon always like the stronger people and despises weak people. But, Jovan, July and Slade always wonder is she going to be like this for the rest of her life.
"Those two Charmander may be weak against water type Pokémon, but if their trainers work hard with them, they can be strong." Brock said.
"So what happen to those two?" a trainer asked.
"We left them on some rock in the forest." Eon said.
Jovan and the others look at them.
"They're so stupid." Eon said. "No matter what Damian and I did, they kept following us. Damian finally got rid of them by promising we'll come for them."
"They fell for it." Damian said.
"My Charmander kept following me even when I told her I'll come back." Eon said. So I decided to give my Charmander a scar to the eyes."
"They're probably still there waiting for us." Damian laugh and the other trainers started laughing.
"They're the ones who abandon those two Charmander." Ash said.
"And Eon was the one who gave one of them that scar." July snarled.
"Yeah and they're still waiting for those two on that rock." Misty agreed.
Ash notices that Brock got up from his seat. "Brock, what are you doing?" Ash asked, but Brock ignored him.
Brock made his way over to the table.
"I bet they're still up there wagging their tails." A trainer said.
"They'll wag it for so long that it will die." Another trainer said.
"Yeah for sure." Damian agreed.
They all started laughing again until Brock grabs him by the shirt with both hands.
"Hey, what-?" Damian tried to ask, but he was cut off.
"Go and get them!" Brock yelled.
"Huh?" Damian asked confused.
"Let go of him!" Eon demanded.
Before Eon can do anything, she was lifted from the couch by a very angry Black Dragonite then it transform back into Jovan.
"How've you been, Jovan?" Eon chuckled darkly.
Jovan growled at her.
"The two of you should go get them now." Brock demanded.
"Why should we?" Damian growled.
"The two of you lied to your Pokémon and said you be back." Brock said. "Now they're waiting in the rain out there for you. If their flame goes out, they'll die."
"Oi!" Damian sneered. "What we do is none of your business."
"You can't make us." Eon said.
"Do what he says." Ash said, as the others walk up to them.
Damian looks at Ash. "What'd you say, nerd?" he growled.
"You heard what I said." Ash snarled. "And you wanted to be a Pokémon Trainer."
"You're disgusting." Misty said.
"Pika pika." Pikachu nodded.
"You said that you're a nice girl." Jovan said to Eon. "But you're just a spoiled brat."
Eon got out of his grip as the two trainers pick up a Pokéball.
"You wanna fight with us?" Damian sneered.
"You better not mess with us." Eon said.
"We'll fight." Ash said.
All of them glared at one another.
"Let's break it up." Nurse Joy said, clapping her hands to get everyone's attention. "You know the rules. Pokémon are never used in personal fights. It's disrespectful to the Pokémon and their trainers."
"Yeah, well, tell them." Damian said. "They were the ones who started it."
Nurse Joy jumps over the couch as Damian and Eon walked away with their friends while one of them picks up the pile of Pokéballs.
"I think you'd be better off not to get mixed up with them." Nurse Joy said before looking at Brock. "They have a very bad reputation."
"Thanks for the advice." Brock said, blushing.
Nurse joy giggles and walks away as Brock was staring at her.
"She sure is pretty." Brock said. "I've never seen anyone pretty as her."
"What are you talking about?" Misty asked, crossing her arms and looking at Brock. "She looks just like all the other Joys."
"Yeah." Ash said. "It's a Joyful world. Alright snap out of it Brock." Ash begins to shake his friend.
"Quit spacing out." Misty growled as Brock turns around. "What about those two Charmander?"
"That's right!" Brock gasps, realizing.
Nurse Joy handed them all rain coats and ran out into the storm.
"This is dangerous." Misty said as they were running. "Going out in a storm like this to help a Pokémon. What if we all catch pneumonia?"
"Well nobody asked you to come along." Ash said over his right shoulder.
"Got to help a Pokémon in need." Misty said with a wink.
Back where the two Charmander are, the two Charmander was doing their best to keep their flame lit. But in the bushes were a bunch of eyes, staring at their target.
"Spearow!" six Spearow shouted.
The six Spearow began to attack the two Charmander. The two Charmander was receiving nasty scratches and they wish that the six Spearow left them alone.
"Knock it off!" Ash shouted throwing a pebble at them.
"Stop it!" Jovan yelled.
Two Spearow attacks Ash and Jovan. The first Spearow began pecking at Ash while Jovan was blocking the attack of the second Spearow while Brock and Seth used their rain jackets to shoo them away.
"Thunder Shock, Pikachu!" Ash ordered.
"Bubblebeam!" Jovan commanded.
"Achu!" Pikachu shouted as the Thunder Shock shocked the Spearow with Dratini's BubbleBeam.
"Pikachu." Pikachu nodded as they both turned around to see their trainers laying on the ground.
"Tini?" Dratini asked confused.
"Next time, make sure you don't shock us too, Pikachu." Ash groaned.
"Pikachu." Pikachu smiled nervously while scratching his head.
Ash, Brock, Jovan and Seth climbs up on the rock to check up on the two Charmander.
"Oh no." Ash said. "Their flame on the tip of the tail is almost out."
"This can't be good." Jovan said as the four boys took of their rain coats.
"Let's get them to the Pokémon Center." Brock said.
"We'll make that their flame stays lit." Ash said.
"No Charmander is going to die on my watch." Jovan said.
The wind began to pick up as they all started running back. Jovan ran besides Ash with Dratini on his left shoulder and Seth and Slade ran on Brock's right side while Misty, Anna and July ran closely behind them. Ash and Jovan kept a close eye on the flame that was still burning weakly.
"Hold on!" Brock shouted.
"The two of you are going to make it." Seth said.
Nurse Joy stood at the window, hoping that the kids found the two Charmander and bringing them back here. The main lobby was dark except for the desk. Nurse Joy heard the doors opening and turns around to see Brock and Seth holding the two Charmander as Jovan and Ash was catching their breath.
"Nurse Joy…" Ash panted, looking up as Nurse Joy ran to them.
"You have to help us."Jovan said, catching his breath.
"What is it?' Nurse Joy asked. "What's wrong?"
"These two Charmander are in bad shape." Seth said.
"The flame on the tail…" Slade try to say.
Nurse Joy removed the rain jackets and gaps. "We have to hurry." Nurse Joy said. "There's not much time."
Ash, Brock, Misty and Pikachu watches Nurse Joy to hear the first Chamander's heartbeat. The two Charmander was lying down on the bed separate as their tails were resting on a heat stool.
"Will they survive?" Brock asked worried.
"These two Charmander is very weak." Nurse Joy said, looking at them with a disappointed look on her face. "How could you let it get into this condition?"
"It's not our fault." Ash said.
"It's true." Slade said, walking into the room. "Damian and Eon's the ones who abandoned them."
"What?" Nurse Joy asked confused.
Ash nodded and looks at the two Charmander. "Damian and Eon promised that they'll be back for them. The two Charmander's loyal to Damian and Eon, so they believed them."
"Poor Charmander." Nurse Joy said sadly, looking back at the two Charmander before looking back at them. "And Damian and Eon just left with the rest of them."
"Joy." Brock said, walking up to her. ""I'm begging you. Please, save it. The two Charmander has got to get better."
Nurse Joy nodded. "I'll do whatever I can." Nurse Joy said, serious.
Jovan, July, Anna and Seth were all sitting down on the chairs. Ash, Brock, Misty, Pikachu and Slade walks out into the hallway as they the needle sign was turned on.
"How are they Slade?" Jovan asked, getting up from his seat.
"It's serious." Slade said.
Jovan grunted in frustration.
Nurse Joy was pushing some buttons and look over her left shoulder. The two Charmander was in a small tube four wires attached with a mask over their mouth.
Back in the hallway they wait. Time continued to move on. Misty was sitting n the floor across from the blue chairs with Pikachu wrapped in her arms. Ash walks back and forth as Brock stood still in front of the door with his arms crossed over his chest.
Jovan was sitting back in his seat as he puts his arms around July who was sitting on his left side and Anna was sitting on his right, resting her head on his shoulder, as Dratini was sitting on top of his head. Seth and Slade were leaning on the side of the wall on either side of the door. Half an hour has past and they're still waiting.
Ash was lying on the chairs with his legs up in the air and Misty was tapping her foot. Jovan, July and Anna was playing Go Fish on the floor as Seth, Slade and Brock didn't move from their spot.
"Charmander." Brock thought. "You've got to hold on. Please, keep your tail burning."
Another half hour passed by until the red needle sign went off.
"Huh?" Ash, Brock and Misty asked.
Jovan, Anna and July looks up from their cards and stands up. Nurse Joy walks out into the hallway.
"Mm." Nurse Joy smiled.
"Thank goodness." Jovan smiled.
Nurse Joy walks back into the room to let them all look at Charmander.
"The two Charmander's recovering. They should be fine by morning." Nurse Joy said.
"That's the spirit, you two." Brock thought.
"Why don't you all stay here for the night?" Nurse Joy asked, looking at them.
"Sure thing." Ash said.
Ash, Brock, Misty and Pikachu headed back to the main lobby.
"Nurse Joy, what about the scar on the second Charmander?" July asked.
"That scar won't go away in time." Nurse Joy said. "The wound will heal, but the scar won't be fading away anytime soon."
"Thanks." Jovan said.
Outside of the Pokémon Center, it stopped raining.
Morning came around and everyone is still sleeping. Ash turned over on his left side, letting the blanket fall on Pikachu's head.
"Wake up, everybody!" Brock shouted.
"Wah!" Ash yelled turning on his side than fall on the floor forward.
Jovan yawned and stretches his arms.
"What's up, Brock?" Ash asked, looking up at Brock.
"What's wrong?" Anna asked.
"Pikachu." Pikachu said.
"It's the two Charamander." Brock panted.
"They both disappeared from the ER." Seth explained.
"But how?" Ash asked.
"No way." Jovan muttered.
Nurse Joy stood with her arms crossed over her chest as she felt the breeze from the wind outside as everyone ran inside the ER.
"I'll bet you anything that they both went back to that rock to wait for Damian and Eon." Jovan said.
"We got to go back." Brock said.
"But that is no use." Misty said with her arms crossed as they all look at her and Anna.
"We can't force Charmander to come with us, if they want to wait for Damian and Eon, even if they are a lying creep."
"She's right." Nurse joy said. "There's nothing you can all do until the two Charmander realizes the truth."
Walking down the path that led to the rock, the two Charmander stops walking and turns around.
They all thanked Nurse Joy and went down the other way on the path with Ash leading the way.
"Oh." Brock sighed. "I thought the two Charmander understood that we cared about it."
Everyone stops walking to turn around to look at Brock.
"Brock." Ash said. "Those two knew that we cared, but don't you see? They couldn't forget Damian and Eon. They're still loyal to them."
"Pikachu." Pikachu said.
"That's why they went back." Jovan said. "There's nothing more we can do."
"Hmm." Brock smiled.
Misty slaps him on the back, making grunt.
"We should move on." Anna said. "Route 24 is just ahead of us."
"Once we get to Vermillion City, there will be plenty of Pokémon." Misty said as she started walking.
Brock can only sighed and they began walking again.
Meanwhile, a driller was standing in the middle of the road.
Jessie and James were dancing and saying the motto as Sam, Libby and Justin watches them.
"To protect the world from devastation."
"To unite all people within our nation."
"To denounce the evils of truth and love. To extend our reach from the stars above."
"Jessie."
"James."
"Mind I cut in?" Meowth interrupted. "Hustle up everyone. They're going to be here soon."
Sam, Libby and Justin walks up to them.
"Finally, a foolproof plan to capture Pikachu and Dratini." Sam said.
"I'm so excited." Jessie said. "I can't wait to test our new automatic high-speed super-duper whatchamacallit."
"Start it up." Sam and Libby said as Jessie and James activated the robot with a remote.
The machine began to rumble.
"So, what does this thing do, anyway?" Meowth asked.
Then the machine pulled out its driller and began to drill into the ground.
"Are you kidding me?!" Justin yelled. "Not another hole digger! We tried that already!"
"If at first you don't succeed…" Jessie said with her hands on hips, looking at Meowth and Justin.
"This time we'll remember where the hole is." James said as they watch the hole driller was finished. Jessie, James, Libby and Sam quickly covered the hole with branches dirt and grass to cover the hole.
"Are you sure you're going to remember where the trap is?" Justin asked worried.
"Justin, don't you think we're smarter than this?" Jessie asked, looking at him with her arms crossed.
Meowth turned around and fell on his back, sighing.
"Now the trap is set." Sam said.
Meowth stands up quickly to see Ash and the others heading their way.
"Hey." Meowth called turning his head. "Here they come now."
They all quickly went into the bushes and Jessie activated the hole digger to make it walk into the bushes and went behind a tree.
"Hmm." Jessie chuckled. "They're getting warm."
"Warmer." Sam said.
"They're burning up." Meowth said with glee.
Pikachu simply walks over the trap with Dratini.
"Huh?" Jessie asked confused before looking at James and Sam angrily. "It's too strong. You two used too many branches."
"Us?" Sam growled. "You and Libby are the one who covered it with too much dirt."
"Meowth." Meowth growled scratching their faces. "Quiet."
As Ash was walking, he felt something shaking. "Whoa." Ash said. "You feel something?"
"I did." Brock said.
"Must be an earthquake." Jovan suggested.
"Feel what?" Misty asked as they all stop walking.
The ground gave way and they all fell in the hole.
"AAHH!" they all yelled.
Pikachu and Dratini turn around to see their friends lying in hole.
"Pikachu." Pikachu said.
Misty was lying on top of Brock as Ash was lying on the ground. July was on top of Seth, who was top on Slade, who was top on Anna and Jovan.
"Pika." Pikachu said.
"Pika? Pi!"
Pikachu and Dratini quickly turn their heads to the left to see Team Rocket wearing blue jumpsuits.
"I can't believe they fell for it." Justin cheered.
"The invention is a success." Libby said. "We're geniuses."
"Pi." Pikachu gasps.
"Come with us, Pikachu and Dratini." Sam said. "You belong to us now."
"Achu!" Pikachu shouted, a Thuner Shock at Team Rocket.
"Ha ha ha!" Jessie and Meowth laughed.
"Rubber won't conduct electricity." James explained.
"Just another of our incredible genius at work." Libby said.
Pikachu stops attacking them.
"You'd have to be a rocket scientist to outsmart us, the Team Rocket scientist." James said.
"We'd call these our anti-Pikachu suits." Libby explained. "Jessie and James made them their selves."
"I must admit that this is really not my color at all." Jessie said, looking at her suit.
"Will you just forget about that?" Justin reminded her. "Let's just grab them and get out of here."
"Cha." Pikachu gasps.
Pikachu and Dratini started running away from them.
"We'll use our anti-Pikachu rubber balloon bazooka." San said as James took out a gray bazooka.
James took a knee down to fire.
"Ready, aim, fire." Jessie ordered.
James fired and a small red rubber balloon appeared and it grew big. Pikachu and Dratini turn around to see the rubber balloon chasing after them. Pikachu and Dratini ran down the other way on the path, but they were captured.
"Pikachu!" Pikachu grunted, releasing another Thunder Shock but nothing happened.
"Pikachu." Jessie, James and Meowth mocked. "Pikachu."
"Pikachu!" Pikachu yelled.
"Pikachu!" Ash shouted, hearing his Pokémon's voice.
Ash made his over to the wall and started climbing, but he slid down. He tried a second time and slid down.
"Come on you guys." Ash urge his friends. "Get up. "We gotta do something."
"We love to get up, Ash." Misty grumbles. "Unfortunately, you're standing on us."
Ash looks down and notices that he was standing on Brock and Misty.
"You guys alright?" Slade asked, getting up.
"I'm fine." July said, who standing up.
Seth watches Jovan and Anna get up from the ground.
"Ha ha!" Jessie cackled, gaining their attention. "Hello down there. Thank you so much for dropping in."
"Don't worry." Sam said as James was holding the small red balloon that contains Pikachu and Dratini. "Pikachu and Dratini is sade with us. We won't lose like you did."
"Chu." Pikachu said sadly.
"Tini." Dratini called out.
"Pikachu!" Ash shouted.
"Dratini!" Jovan called.
"Let's get out of here." Meowth said as they turn around. Before they can walk away, a voice shout out.
"Charmander!" the first Charmader shouted.
"Char." The second Charmander said.
"What are those things?" Libby asked.
"Char char. Mander." The first Charmander said.
"It's saying you better give back Pikachu and Dratini back to those guys right now." Meowth said, looking up to Jessie and James and he looks back at them.
"What a joke." Libby said.
"Now step aside, you two insolent little fire bugs." James said. "We haven't got time to play with you."
"Team Rocket plays rough." Meowth said. "So get moving."
The two Charmander closes their eyes.
"Huh?" they all asked confused.
"Char!" The two Charmander shouted, releasing a red-orange stream of fire from their mouths at Team Rocket.
"AAHH!" Tem Rocket shouted, running away from the two Charmander.
"You see?!" James shouted.
"Didn't he tell us that we needed fireproof uniforms?!" Sam shouted.
"Just keep running!" Jessie shouted.
"Some Geniuses. Meowth!" Meowth said.
"Looks like Team Rocket is blasting off again!" Team Rocket yelled.
Damian and Eon walks out of the bushes, watching Team Rocket running away.
"Our two Charmander beat them?" Damian asked, shocked.
"Wow!" Brock grunted as he see the two Charmander.
Everyone else but Brock was out of the hole.
"Thanks for the help, you two." Brock thanked them.
"You see, Brock?" Misty asked. "The two Charmander knew we cared."
"That's why they're here." Anna said.
"Way to go." Brock said, climbing out of the hole.
"Charmander." Ash said.
The two Charmander turns it head to the right and looks up at Ash and Jovan.
"How'd you like to join us?" Ash asked.
"I don't think you're trainers are coming back."
"Hi, Chamder." Damian said, with his arms behind his back.
"We've been looking all over for you." Eon said.
"Damian, it's you." Ash gasps.
"What do you want, you two?" Seth asked suspiciously.
"We've came for our Chamander, just like we promise." Eon said.
They all gasp.
"So let's go you two." Damian said.
"Mmm." The first Charmander whimpered, looking back at Ash and Brock, unsure what to do.
"Careful." Brock warns it. "These two trainers already abandon you two before."
"Those two Charmander is our Pokémon." Eon said as Damian crossed his arms. "We were ones who caught them, remember?"
"Damian, you and Eon bragged about how you abandoned them." Ash growled.
"Good thing what Eon and I did." Damian said. "That toughens them up."
"Besides, what's wrong with dumping off a weak Pokémon after I gave my Charmander that scar before we abandoned them? Eon smirked.
"What?" Jovan gasps.
The second Charmander gasps.
"We wasn't going to come back for it." Eon explained.
"But now that Eon and I seen what they can do, I'm real glad I ran into you guys." Damian said.
"Char." The first Charmander said sadly.
"The best thing is Damian and I didn't have to raise them ourselves." Eon snickered.
"That's terrible." Misty said.
Brock stands up. "Raising a Pokémon is the best part of being a Trainer." Brock explains.
"You wish." Damian said.
"That's the most boring part of the job." Eon said.
"How dare you call yourselves of being a Pokémon trainer." Seth growled.
The first Charmander looks down, sadly.
"You see?" Misty asked, kneeling down to the round as the first Charmander turns around to look at her while the second Charmander glares angrily at Eon.
"They don't care about you two." Anna said as both Charmander looks at Misty and Anna. They just want to use you two to win matches."
"She's right." Seth said.
"Mmm." The first Charmander looks away while the second Charmander growled at Eon.
"Charmander." Jovan said.
"Charmander." Seth said.
"We'll be taking our Charmander back now." Eon said, taking out Charmander's Pokéball.
"Charmander, return!" Damian shouted as the two trainers threw their Pokéballs.
"Rm." The first Charmander squeak.
The first Charmander closes his eyes and uses his tail to whack the Pokéball back towards Damian's face. The second Charmander uses her claws to catch the Pokéball and threw it into Eon's face.
"Ah!" Damian and Eon yelled as the spheres hit their faces.
"Whoa!"Everyone gasps.
"That does it!" Damian shouted angrily, taking out so many Pokéballs and raising them above his head "We'll crush you with every Pokémon we've got!"
"No Pokémon is going to get away with this!" Eon growled.
Pikachu, Dratini and the two Charmander attacks them with Thunder Shock, Bubblebeam and Flamethrower.
"AAHH!" Damian and Eon screamed.
After the Pokémon was done attacking, Damian and Eon was covered in black soot.
"Mommy!" Damian cried, turning around and started running with Eon close by.
"Way to go, you two." Brock smiled.
"Excellent work." Jovan said.
Pikachu and Dratini walks back their friends. The two Chrmander turns around and looks at them.
"Go ahead, Ash and Jovan." Brock said, putting his right hand on Ash's shoulder. "You get the two Charmander. The two of them will be a great Pokémon."
"But Brock." Ash said. "You and Seth saved them, so you deserve them, I guess."
"That statement is true." Seth said. "But don't forget, you're the one who kept the flame on their tail lit."
"I'm sure that the two of you will raise the two Charmander to become a great Pokémon."
"Thank you, Brock and Seth." Ash nodded.
"Come on, Charmander." Ash said as Jovan and himself was taking out a Pokéball.
"Welcome to the group." Jovan said.
"Char. Char." The first Charmander smiled.
The first Charmander jumps into the air and let the Pokéball transforms him into red energy and went inside.
"Thank you." A voice said.
"Huh?" Jovan thought. "Did somebody spoke?"
Jovan looks down at the second Charmander. The second Charmander nodded. Jovan threw the Pokéball at the second Charmander and the second Charmander transformed into red energy and went inside the Pokéball. The two Pokéballs landed in Ash and Jovan's hands.
"You got a new Pokémon and a new friend." Anna said, looking at her friends.
"Yeah." Ash smiled with his eyes closed.
And so, the two Charmander joins Ash, Jovan and their friends on their journey. Maybe getting lost isn't bad after, especially when you're lost with your friends. Of course finding your way with your friends is even better.

I'm so relieved that this chapter is done. I got some big plans for this story and I won't say until we reach Chapter 77. Chapters 77 through 80 play an important role in this too. So I hope you are all looking forward for as I am.
