Here comes the Squirtle Squad
You remember in the earlier Pokemon Adventure, Ash achieve his dream of catching a Bulbasaur. It was a shocking victory. And so Bulbasaur joins the ranks. Soon, Ash, Misty, Brock, Jovan, July, Anna, Seth and Slade lost their way until they found two Charmander. Braving the fierce storm, Ash, Jovan and their friends came to their rescue. Abandon by their trainers, the two flame Pokemon regain their strength and gain new friends. That's how Ash has caught Bulbasaur and Charmander.
He's pretty pleased with himself as he skips down the road, singing on our favorite theme. Becoming a Pokemon Trainer can be snap, or will it? Maybe Ash is too confident and he better keep his eyes on the road. Who know what pitfall is waiting for our young heroes.
Ash stops walking and looks down at his right foot as everyone stops walking. Then a big hole appeared and everyone fell in.
"AAAHH!" They all yelled as landed in the hole.
"Not another hole." Misty groaned.
"I landed on my head." Brock moaned, rubbing the back of his head as everyone got up.
"It must be a prank." Seth said.
"And a bad sense of humor." Misty added.
"Who would play a rotten trick?" Ash wondered.
"Must've been Team Rocket." Jovan suggested.
"I don't think so." July said looking up.
Ten Pokemon appeared and look down in the hole, laughing at them and they were all wearing sun shades.
"Who are you?!" Brock shouted.
"It's not funny." Misty said. "We've could have gotten ourselves hurt."
"Squirtle Squirtle!" They all laughed.
Ash poke his head out of the hole. "Practical jokes like these are dangerous."Ash said as they all got out of the hole. Everyone took out their Pokédexs.
"Squirtle, This tiny turtle Pokémon tucks its long neck into its shell to launch incredible water attacks with amazing range and accuracy. The blast can be very powerful."
"If I get my very own Squirtle, Gary will never beat me." Ash smiled, closing his Pokédex. "Go Pikachu!"
"Get in there Dratini!" Jovan shouted.
Pikachu released a Thunderbolt from his body and Dratini used Bubblebeam to attack the two Squirtles who was wearing triangular shades, but two Squirtle jumps in front of them taking the attack. The two Squirtle fell on their sides.
"Squirtle Squirtle." The first Squirtle said, making sure his friend is alright.
"Squirtle." The second Squirtle growled, looking Pikachu and Dratini.
The four Pokemon all stared at each other. A siren can be heard in the distance.
"Squirtle." The first Squirtle said, turning his head around. "Squirtle Squirtle."
"Squirtle!" The other Squirtle shouted, picking their fallen comrades.
They all watch the Squirtle running away from them.
"Pikachu." Pikachu said, tilting his head in confusion.
"That was sure weird." Ash said.
"What do you think that was about?" July asked, looking at Jovan.
"We're about to find out." Jovan said.
They all turned around quickly when they a pair of tires screeching to a complete halt behind them.
"Is everyone alright here?" Officer Jenny asked. "Has anyone been hurt?"
"Officer Jenny." Ash said.
"Huh?" Officer Jenny said, looking confused."Do I know you? Your face doesn't look familiar."
"We met you back at Viridian City." Ash said, walking up to her.
"Oh." Officer Jenny said, realizing what he meant as she got off her police motorcycle. "You must mean one of the other Jenny's, my cousins."
"Cousins?" Jovan aske confused.
"My cousins are all police officers." Officer Jenny said. "All of us look identical, plus we're all name Jenny."
"Talk about a family resemblance." Ash said.
Misty looks back at Brock. "At least we can remember their names."
Officer Jenny took them all to her headquarters.
"That Pokemon gang calls itself the Squritle Squad." Jenny explains.
Jenny was sitting down at her desk with her hands on a keyboard as she was looking at them.
"Squirtle Squad?" Ash repeated.
"I never heard of a Pokemon gang before." Misty said.
"They're a bunch of Squirtle who was deserted by their trainers." Jenny explains.
"Deserted?" Ash asked.
"None of them have trainers and they all play pranks on the whole town." Jenny said.
"How often do they do pranks here?" Jovan asked.
"A lot." Jenny said. "It's sad that they don't have anyone to watch and care for them since they're all bad."
Hiding behind a couple of bushes on a hill that was right across from the police station, Team Rocket was watching them.
"There they are." Jessie said. "I see the twerps and Pikachu and Dratini are with them."
James kneeling down next to Jessie on the left and Meowth was on the right.
"Do you see a restaurant?" Meowth asked. "I'm starving here."
Jessie closes her eyes and hit Meowth upside in the back of the head with a paper fan.
"No more pizza!" James cheered, earning a smack in the face.
There was a red rectangle mark on his face.
"I'm sick of Pizza for every meal!" James complained.
"You won't eat again if you fail this mission!"Jessie shouted, standing up and looking down at James.
"So no Chinese Food?" James asked.
"Or tacos?" Meowth added.
Jessie slaps James and Meowth again with her paper fan.
"Am I the only member on this team who wants to catch Pikachu first before we eat?!" Jessie growled.
"Make that two." Libby said, who was leaning against a tree with Justin and Sam. "World domination first before lunch."
Jessie and Libby's stomach growled.
"Now our stomach says it's to eat." Jessie chuckled, picking up a picnic basket.
They all turned around and see the Squirtle Squad staring at them.
"You guys have a problem?" Jessie sneered.
"Squirtle Squirtle." The first Squirtle said. "Squirtle Squirtle."
"What is it saying Meowth?" Sam asked, looking at Squirtle.
"It said "Give us your food or else"." Meowth said.
"You're joking." Libby said, looking back at them.
"We're Team Rocket." Jessie said.
"Squirtle Squirtle." The second Squirtle sad with a gleamed from the sunglasses.
"Let's show them who's boss." Libby said, taking out a Pokéball.
"I'm gamed." James said.
They all took a step forward and fell into a hole.
"AAhh!" The six of them yelled.
The first Squirtle took a bite out of a rice ball while the second Squirtle was eating a sandwich. The rest of the Squad was eating sandwiches, rice balls and lemonade.
"Oh no." Jessie said.
Jessie and James were tied against the tree trunk and Libby and Sam was tied on the other side while Meowth and Justin was hanging right besides them.
"They're eating all the jelly doughnuts and eclairs." Jessie said.
"They're also drinking all the lemonade." James groaned.
"Libby." Sam said, looking at Libby. "I think one of them found your candy bar."
"This is so cruel." Meowth groans.
"Squirtle." The first Squirtle said before taking another bite.
"They're not Squirtles." Libby growled. "They're piggles."
"They're starting on sandwiches." James said.
"What are we going to do, Jessie?" Sam asked.
"I've got it."Jessie said as she look over at the ten Squirtle. "Hey Squirtles. How would you all like to do a job for us?"
The ten Squirtle all look at her.
"There are these kids with the Pikachu." Jessie said. " Our boss would be appreciate it if you help us catch them. He make it worth your while."
"Squirtle Squirt." The first Squirtle said.
"What was Squirtle's answer?" James asked, looking at Meowth.
"It said "Forget it"." Meowth translated. "Humans can't be trusted.
"Make it trust us!" James shouted.
"That won't be an easy one, James." Justin said.
"I'll see what I can do." Meowth said, looking back the Squirtle Squad. "Squirtle, these four humans belong to Meowth."
"Belong to?!" James gasps.
"You're kidding right?" Sam asked.
"They'll never believe you four." Meowth said, looking back at Team Rocket. "You've got "Liar" written all over your face."
"You little..." James growled.
Meowth looks back at the Squirtle. "These humans are my pets. I trained them but they're pretty stupid."
The two Squirtle with the triangle sunshades got up to turn around and look at Meowth.
"Squirtle." The first Squirtle said.
"Don't ever raise your voice at me again, you bad human!" Meowth shouted at James, starting to kick him in the face.
"Ow ow!" James shouted.
"Bad bad!" Meowth yelled with each kick.
The first Squirtle nodded. "Squirtle." The two Squirtle turns around to look at the rest of the squad.
"Squirtle Squirtle Squirtle." The second Squirtle said.
The third Squirtle nodded and went over to lower Meowth on the ground.
"Ha ha." Meowth chuckled as he was on the ground. "See, you guys can trust me."
The first Squirtle began to untie the ropes.
A few seconds later, Meowth was eating a rice ball he took a bite out of.
"Meowth, what about us?" Jessie asked.
"Aren't we going to eat too?" Libby asked.
"I want a doughnut." James complained.
"Please tell me if there's still some chips." Sam said.
"Be quiet." Meowth said.
Meowth jumps on to Jessie and James shoulder's and sat down.
"I've got to keep this act up so the Squirtle can trust me. It's going to take a little time." Meowth said before finishing his rice ball.
After the Squirtle Squad was done eating, the second Squirtle who was wearing the triangle shades as the first Squirtle, turns around to look at Meowth.
"Squirtle Squirtle." The second Squirtle said. "Squirtle Squirt Squirtle."
"What did it say?" Justin asked.
"It said "Now it's time to hit the human pinata"." Meowth said.
"Where are they going to find a human pinata?"Justin wondered as the Squirtle Squad picked up some branches.
"It was nice knowing you." Sam said, looking away.
"Huh?"Justin asked confused, looking at Sam and back at the Squirtle Squad.
"Squirtle!" They all shouted.
Justin's screams can be heard from where they are.
Our heroes were all taking break near the river on a hill. Brock was laying down in the grass with his arms and legs spread, Ash was laying down next to him with his hands behind his head while Misty was fishing.
Jovan, July, Seth, Anna and Slade were sitting close to the path with a map on the grass.
"It's been a couple months since we've came here." Seth said, looking at the map.
"We've all know that we ended up here." Anna said.
"We all that we 've met the people we know from our world." July said.
"The mysterious person who helped us out several times." Slade said.
"Jovan transforming into a black Dragonite." Anna said.
"And we've still haven't found Maria and the others." Jovan said.
"From we what know, all of us got sucked into a portal and ended up here somehow."Anna said.
As they were trying to sort things out, Misty saw two faces in the water.
"I've caught something." Misty startled them.
Two Squirtle appeared before them and releases a spiral of water from their mouths at them.
"Aahh!" They all screamed.
The two Squirtle laughed.
"I'm soaked." Misty groaned.
"Me too." Ash said.
"Are you guys all right?" Seth asked, getting up.
Pikachu shook his fur and hops in front of them.
"Pikachu!" Pikachu shouted, releasing a Thunderbolt. Pikachu didn't notice it was shocking Ash, Brock and Misty.
"Knock it off, Pikachu!" Ash yelled.
Pikachu stops to turn around, and look at them.
"Wet clothes conduct electricity." Brock groaned.
The two Squirtle chuckled and jumps out of the water and landed on the path. They all got up quickly and got on the path, facing the two Squirtle.
""We've had it with your pranks, Squirtle." Ash growled. "Get it, Pikachu! It's out of the water!"
"You too, Dratini!" Jovan yelled.
Pikachu and Dratini rushes towards them to attack, but the two Squirtles tucked themselves into their shells and started spinning.
"Huh?" Ash asked confused.
The two shells hits Pikachu and Dratini, sending Pikachu into the water and Dratini in front of Jovan as Ash, Brock and Misty watches Pikachu landing into the water.
"Pikachu!" Ash yelled.
A wild Goldeen was jumping out of the water towards Pikachu.
"It's a Goldeen!" Misty gasps. "Watch out for its horn!"
Pikachu broke through the surface and breathe the fresh air.
"Pi Pi." Pikachu said, wondering where the Goldeen went.
"Swim to shore Pikachu!" Ash shouted.
Pikachu began to paddle to shore quickly.
"Faster!"Ash called out.
The wild Goldeen jabs Pikachu into the air. Everyone gasps where the injured Pikachu landed on the grass.
"Pikachu!" Ash gasps.
As he was about to get Pikachu, a roped stop him in his tracks. "They've got us." Ash said, turning his head around to see the rest of the Squirtle Squad on the other side of the path.
The six Squirtle ran around them quickly to tie them all up.
"Squirtle Squirtle." The first Squirtle said.
"Ha ha!" Meowth laughed, stepping out of the bush. "You're not going to Squirtle out of this one."
Justin walks funny out of the bush to stand next to Meowth and the two Squirtle.
"Meowth!" Ash and Misty gasps.
Meowth and the Squirtle Squad led them to a cave which is a few miles from town.
"I'm the Pokémon in charge here." Meowth said. "Just wait till my human pets come back."
Ash, Brock and Misty were tied to a rock right next to Meowth and Jovan, July, Anna, Seth and Slade were tied to a small rock where Pikachu and Dratini were in their cages.
"Nah nah nah nah." Meowth sang pushing his tail in Ash's face to annoy him.
Ash opens his mouth and bites Meowth's tail hard.
"Aahh!" Meowth screamed, jumping into the air.
"Don't believe them, Squirtle." Ash said, looking at the Squirtle Squad. "Meowth and Justin are big liars. Those humans aren't pets, it's Team Rocket. They tricked all of you to do their dirty work."
"Squrtle." The second Squirtle growled.
"Quiet human!" Meowth bellowed, scratching Ash across the face. "Who are you going to believe, this human or me?"
"Squirtle." The Squirtle Squad said.
July turns her head to the left to look at Justin. "How come you were walking funny?" July asked.
"The Squirtle Squad beat me up while I was hanging in a tree like a pinata." Justin said.
"Ha ha." July chuckled.
Brock turns his head over to look at Pikachu to see if its alright before turning his head around to look at Ash. "Ash." Brock said. "Pikachu is in bad shape."
"Pi.. Ka..pi.." Pikachu breathe weakly.
"We've got to do something." Misty said.
"We need to heal Pikachu with a Super Potion before it's too late." Brock said.
"But we don't even have a Super Potion." Jovan said.
"What can we do?" Ash asked.
"There's a shop in the town that sells it." Seth said.
"In town?" Ash repeated. Ash turns his head back to look at the Squirtle Squad.
"Squirtle Squad please, you've got to let me go into town and get the medicine for Pikachu. If I don't get the medicine, Pikachu will be in a lot of trouble."
"Squirtle Squirtle Squirtle."the first Squirtle said, shaking his head.
"They know you humans are trying to get away." Meowth said.
"Trust me." Ash said. "I won't run away. As soon as I buy the medicine, I'll come back. I promise."
"Squirtle." The first Squirtle said.
"Squirtle says "Promises are cheap"."Meowth translated.
"I'm begging you." Ash begged. "Please trust me." Ash lowered his head as a few tears ran down his face and hit the stone floor.
"Squirtle Squad." Jovan said.
The second Squirtle turns her head around to look at Jovan.
"You have his word that he will come back." Jovan said.
The two Squirtle looks over at the injured Pikachu.
Several minutes later, Ash and Jovan was untied and stood in front of the Squad and Meowth.
"Squirtle Squirtle Squirtle Squirtle." The first Squirtle said.
"The Squirtle said if you don't make back here by noon tomorrow, the red haired girl gets her hair dyed purple." Meowth said.
"Why you mangy little fleatrap!" Misty yelled. "When I get out of this-"
"Misty." Ash interrupted. "Don't worry, we'll be back."
Misty stops yelling and calms down before looking at Ash.
"So long." Ash said as he and Jovan turns around and ran outside of the cave. "Be back in a flash!"
"Good luck." Misty muttered.
"Be safe, Jovan." Anna murmured.
"Even he does come back, we'll be long gone." Meowth thought.
Ash and Jovan ran down the hill.
"Just a little longer, Pikachu." Ash thought. "I'll get you that Super Potion."
Ash trips on a pebble that he wasn't paying any attention and fell down hard.
"Ash." Jovan said, running back and kneeling down next to him.
Ash got up as Jovan stood up.
"Let's keep moving Ash." Jovan said. "Pikachu needs you to get that medicine."
They kept running for half and hour and they came across a beaten up old bridge.
"Ok." Ash gulped. "Don't look down."
The two boys began to walk on the bridge taking one step at a time. One of the boards gave way and Ash almost fell. He uses his left hand to hang on to the rope while his right arm and left foot prevented him from falling down, making the bridge shake. This made Jovan to hold on to the ropes really tightly.
Ash gave a sigh of relief and got back up. He kept his back to the rope taking a few steps at a time while Jovan slowly walks. Another board gave and Ash almost fell but he was hanging on to the rope.
"Ash!" Jovan called, looking down at Ash.
"Man that was close." Ash said.
But the ropes snap on the end, making the bridge destroyed. Jovan quickly dove for the wall's edge and grabs it.
"Aaahh!" Ash screamed as he fell into the river.
Jovan looks over his right shoulder.
"Ash!"Jovan called.
Jovan notices that Ash jumps into the air out of the water with his hands on butt as a wild Goldeen jabs Ash with its horn. Ash lands a few feet from the edge where Jovan was.
"Are you ok?" Jovan asked.
"Yes I am." Ash said as he got back up.
Jovan took a look back at the broken bridge. "How are we going to get back since the bridge is destroyed?"
"Let's worry about that later." Ash said.
Jovan turns around. "Listen Ash." Jovan said. "Go into town without me. I'll try to find a way on how to get us back to the others."
"Alright." Ash said.
It was a whole hour that Ash left Jovan and he finally made it. Ash was using tall branch to help him to keep walking. He can see a green building on his right in the middle of two other buildings. On the billboard it says "SHOP".
"That's it." Ash smiled. "That must be the place."
Ash threw the branch away in the alleyway next to the shop and proceeded to get on the deck. Before Ash can open the door, the door slams him hard out of the way as Gary and Mile exited the shop and the door closes. Gary and Mile didn't notice him.
"I beg..." Ash said dazed with stars in his eyes. "You're pardon..." Ash fell down on his back in the alleyway before he faints.
Nighttime came and Pikachu was still breathing.
"Please hang in there Pikachu." Brock said.
"Ash and Jovan will come back here with the medicine soon." Misty said.
Meowth looks back at the cave's entrance. "Where is Jessie, James, Libby and Sam already?"Meowth wondered, worried where his friends are.
Jovan sat down and leans his back against a tree trunk, several feet from the bridge that he and Ash cross.
"I wonder what's taking Ash so long." Jovan thought.
Jovan found a couple of pears hanging in the tree five minutes ago and was continuing to eat the second pear.
"I couldn't even find a way to get to the other side." Jovan thought.
Bulb picks up some wood with her dark green vines and threw them in the fire that Growlithe made before she proceeded to eat the berries along with Growlithe, Charmander and Pigiotto.
"I do hope that Ash comes back with the Super Potion." Jovan thought.
Jovan looks up at night starry sky and notices something in the sky. Something was flying very fast in the night sky.
"What is that?" Jovan wondered.
All of a sudden, the figure landed several feet away from Jovan and the Pokémon. Jovan got up from his spot and took a couple steps forward.
"Hello?" Jovan called.
The figure didn't answer.
Jovan was about to take another step until he couldn't move his body.
"What's going on?" Jovan thought.
He tried to struggle a little bit, but it was no use. Jovan looks down looks at his Pokemon and they couldn't move like him. Jovan notices that their bodies were covered in some kind of purple energy that is preventing them to move.
"Struggling is pointless." The figure said.
The purple energy tighten its grip around them, making them go unconscious.
Morning came around and Ash is still out cold.
"Alright freeze!" Jessie yelled as she and James entered the shop. Jessie was carrying a bazooka and James was carrying an assault rifle.
"These are ice guns we're packing." James said.
"It's Team Rocket!" One of the customers cried out.
"We're just like those bad guys in the comic books, only much more cooler." Jessie said.
Outside of the shop in the alleyway, Ash slowly wakes up. He can hear what's going on in the store.
"Listen up." Jessie said."Give us all the flash powder you got." Jessie said.
Ash got up from the ground and knelt down to listen what Team Rocket was saying.
"And a large pack of dental floss." James added.
"What do you need those for?" The clerk asked.
"You want to get rid of the Squirtle Squad, right?" Jessie asked. "The flash powder will scare them out of town. The floss is for our teeth."
"The Squirtle Squad." Ash said.
"Ciao for now." James said as Jessie and himself backing out the door. He was also carrying two crates of flash powder.
"Farewell." Jessie said, firing a ice bazooka.
Pink snow floated around them.
Ash stood up and watches Team Rocket leaving the area.
"Team Rocket." Ash growled. "I better get the Super Potion before they get Pikachu."
Ash ran inside. "Super Potion please." Ash said.
The customers and the clerk had their guns pointing at Ash.
"I don't need... a new gun..." Ash said nervously holding his hands in front of him. "Don't shoot me please."
"Stop!" Officer Jenny shouted running into the store behind Ash and ran in front of him with her arms wide open. "Drop those, he's not with Team Rocket."
Ash and Officer Jenny sped through the path on Jenny's motorcycle
"Step on it, Officer Jenny!" Ash shouted. "Jovan and I have to get there by noon!"
"Just hang on Ash!" Officer Jenny said before she gasps. The motorcycle came to a complete halt.
The bridge that Ash and Jovan crossed yesterday was still out.
"A dead end." Jenny said before looking over her left shoulder. "Ash, this is where Jovan said he was going to wait for you?"
Ash nodded. "Yes but I don't see him anywhere."
Ash look around hoping that Jovan was still here, but there was no sign of him anywhere.
"Let's keep moving." Jenny said. Jenny revved up the engine and proceeded to the right.
High above in the sky, Team Rocket was in their Meowth air balloon, preparing the flash bombs.
"The flash bombs should scare the shells off the Squirtle Squad." James said.
"In the confusion, we'll grab Pikachu." Libby said.
"This is the secret entrance to the cave." Officer Jenny said.
Ash and Officer Jenny was standing right outside to the small entrance of the cave.
"There's not much room." Ash said.
"The passageway is too narrow for an adult." Officer Jenny said. "You can squeeze through."
Ash looks at her.
"I can do it." Ash said before looking at the cave.
"Be careful Ash." Officer Jenny said as Ash went inside the cave.
Ash continues to walk through the darkness of the cave for fifteen minutes.
"It's hard to see in here." Ash said. "Hey, I know."
Ash takes out a Pokéball and press the button.
"Charmander, I choose you." Ash said as Charmander appeared.
"Char Char." Charmander said.
"Lead the way Charmander." Ash said.
"Char." Charmander nodded.
Charmander turns around and Ash and Charmander proceeded to walk through the cave. Another fifteen minutes passed and Ash came across a loose boulder.
"Great work Charmander." Ash said, before Charmander went back inside his Pokéball.
Ash tried to budge the boulder out of the way and jumps into the same cave.
"They're gone!" Ash gasps.
The cave was empty. The ropes were untied and Pikachu was missing. Was Ash and Jovan too late?
"Pikachu!" Ash called.
Ash imagines Misty falling into the pits of darkness.
"Misty!" Ash called out again.
There was no answer. Ash ran out of the cave and found Meowth, Justin and the Squirtle Squad.
"What have you done?!" Ash yelled, stopping in front of them. "I told you that Jovan and I are back by noon and we are. "What have you done to my friends?!"
"We're over here Ash." Misty said.
Ash turns his head to the left and see Misty and Brock as Pikachu was in Brock's arms. July and Anna was sitting down on the ground with Dratini and Seth and Slade was leaning against the wall.
"Where's the Super Potion for Pikachu?" Misty asked, walking up to him with Brock.
"Here." Ash said, taking out a small orange spray bottle and handing it to Misty.
Misty turns around to looks at Pikachu."Hurry." Misty said. "Let's spray it on Pikachu."
Brock and Misty knelt down and begins to spray Pikachu with the Super Potion.
"So Misty." Ash said, bending his knees abit. "You're hair isn't purple."
"Nope." Misty said, turning her head around. "I'm still a redhead."
"The Squirtle Squad were bluffing." Brock said, looking up at Ash.
"They play tricks, but they never change a girl's natural color." Misty said.
"Huh?"Ash said confused.
"Squirtle Squirtle."the Squirtle Squad laughed.
All of a sudden, there was huge explosion in the face of the hill.
"That bomb!" Ash shouted, standing up and turning his head to the right. "It's Team Rocket!"
"To protect the world from devastation."
"To unite all people within our nation."
"To denounce the evils of truth and love. To extend our reach from the stars above."
"Jessie."
"James."
"Squirtle Squad." Jessie called. "It's payback time for insulting Team Rocket."
"Bombs away!" Jessie, James, Libby and Sam shouted, tossing four black bombs over the side.
The four bombs exploded on impact when they hit the ground.
"Meowth!" Libby called. "Grab Pikachu and climb the ladder!"
"And the rest of you are in a real blast." James snickered.
"Meowth!" Meowth cheered, grabbing the ladder with one paw and Pikachu wrapped around in his other arm. Justin grabs onto the ladder with Dratini in his left arm.
"Pikachu!" Ash called.
Another bomb exploded several feet away from them.
"Can things get any worse?!" July shouted, covering herself.
"Look, over there!" Anna yelled.
High in the sky was a black Dragonite flying towards them.
"It's Jovan!" July cheered.
Jovan turned around and growled.
"What's that?" Libby asked, turning around.
"Huh?" Sam asked confused.
Jessie and James stop throwing the bombs and turns around.
A loud whirling sound can be heard in the distance and a black helicopter was flying towards them as well. Something else was flying in the front of helicopter and behind Jovan
"Who are these people?" Jovan thought.
One hour ago...
Jovan slowly open his eyes. "Where am I?" Jovan murmured.
Jovan's vision became a lot more clearer and notices he was in a cage. Jovan notices he was outside somewhere deep in the forest. Sitting several feet away from him was a black helicopter. Jovan turns his head to the left and sees that Bulb, Pidgeotto, Growlithe and Charmander were in separate cages.
"Search the area!" A voice cried out.
Jovan looks back at the helicopter and notices four people. The two men were wearing long neo shirt, pants and a neo hat. The women were also wearing the same thing. On the center of their shirts was the letter "N" in neo.
"Yes sir." The two women said leaving the area.
"Team Neo will finally make its appearance in the Kanto Region." The first man said as both men enter the helicopter.
"Team Neo?" Jovan wondered. "I can tell that these people are bad news." Jovan looks around the cage hoping there's a way out of here.
Something shining in front of his cage caught his was a small silver key which is a couple inches from his cage. Jovan walks over to the edge of his cave, knelt down and stuck his right arm out and grabs the small silver key.
"Yes." Jovan said as he undid the lock.
Jovan quickly went over to his friend's cage and undid the lock.
"Alright everyone." Jovan said. "Return."
All of his Pokémon transforms into red energy and went back inside their Pokéballs. Jovan began to tiptoe quietly, hoping not to make a noise. He was in the clear when something appeared behind him several feet away. Jovan slowly turns around and gasps.
Standing several feet away was a humanoid dragon-like creature. It is primarily black and has a long purple tail. The top of its head was two medium sized horns. It has a defined chest and shoulder which resembles a breastplate. There's one horn on both shoulders. It has two sharp claws and the feet have triangular tips. It's entire tail is thick and there was two small curved horns on either at the end of its tail. There was also dragon scales all over its body.
It was wearing some kind of battle armor. It's arms and legs were covered in silver armor and its entire body was wearing the silver armor. It's shoulders were covered in armor as well. The creature had its back turn and didn't even notice Jovan.
"I've never seen a Pokémon like this before." Jovan thought.
The armored creature floats toward the black helicopter.
"I should get out here while I still can." Jovan thought.
Jovan turns around quickly and ran. It was half an hour ago since Jovan escaped. Jovan stops running on the path and tries to get his bearings straight.
"I wonder where I am right now." Jovan thought. Jovan continues to run until he was back at the same destroyed bridge.
"I hope Ash got the Super Potion by now."Jovan thought.
While Jovan was waiting for Ash, he didn't know that he was being followed. There was a man wearing a black business suit and black shoes leaning against a tree that Jovan passed by. The color of his hair is black and his hair was sticking up because he pulled his hair back. The color of his eyes is silver. The man left without making a sound.
Jovan notices the spot he was captured.
"At least I know where I am now."Jovan thought.
Jovan heard something in the distance where he was captured.
"They must've found out that I escaped." Jovan said, turning around.
He looks up in the air and sees the black helicopter arriving before him.
"I need to get out of here." Jovan said.
The armored creature teleported in front of the helicopter. Jovan felt a chill running down his spine. The armored creature brought both of its claws together and shot a sphere of purple energy at Jovan.
The sphere exploded on its target, sending Jovan several feet away when he got captured.
"You've asked for it." Jovan growled as he transforms into the black Dragonite.
Jovan flew towards the creature, but felt his body froze in midair as his body was covered in the same purple energy that held him. Then he was sent flying towards the ground on the other side where he and Ash crossed.
Jovan opens his mouth to forms a white ball and it transforms into a beam and fires it at the creature. The mysterious creature quickly protected itself in a purple bubble.
Jovan grunted in frustration. "This is hopeless." Jovan thought, trying to regain his energy. "I can't even land an attack on this Pokémon. I don't even think this is a Pokémon at all. My best bet is to get out of here and find the others."
Jovan turns around and flew away quickly.
"Don't let him get away!" A voice shouted over on the of the helicopter.
1 hour later...
"Who's chasing Jovan?" July asked.
"I'm not sure." Seth said.
"Whatever it is or who they are, we have to stop them." Slade said.
"Head for the cave!" Ash shouted.
Misty, Brock and four of the Squirtle Squad ran back to the cave. As Ash was about to enter, he heard a voice.
"Squirtle!"
Ash turns around and gasp. "Squirtle!" Ash gasps.
Squirtle was laying on his shell, trying to get back up. Jessie and James threw two more flash bombs at them.
"Here I come Squirtle!" Ash yelled.
Ash dove above Squirtle as the flash bombs explode around them.
July, Anna, Seth and Slade ran on the path and stops to look above as the other half of the Squirtle Squad was behind them.
"Help us out, Pidgeotto!" Anna shouted, throwing a Pokéball and Pidgeotto appeared.
"Quick Attack!" Anna commanded.
Pidgeotto flew quickly at the creature with a white light following behind Pidgeotto, but the creature covered its body in a purple energy.
"No way!" Anna shouted.
Sam and Libby threw two more bombs at them and everyone dodges the flash bombs. The creature brought its claws together and shot a purple energy sphere at the second Squirtle who was laying on its shell.
"Oh no!" Seth shouted.
Jovan flew past them and stood in front of the Squirtle with his arms spread as the bombs and the purple energy sphere made contact with their targets.
"Ash!" Misty shouted.
The dust cleared and Misty, Brock and the four Squirtle can see Ash laying besides Squirtle with his left arm covering Squirtle.
"Hey, Squirtle." Ash said, looking at Squirtle. "Are you ok?"
"Squirtle..." Squirtle said weakly.
"Here comes two more!" Misty shouted noticing two more flash bombs falling towards Ash and Squirtle.
"Save yourself Squirtle." Ash said. "Run for it."
Squirtle quickly picks up Ash.
"Squirtle!" Squirtle shouted, with tears running his face.
"Squirtle!?" Ash said startled.
The tiny turtle Pokemon carried Ash high above his head and started running quickly dodging every single bomb and took a giant leap.
"Squirtle!" Squirtle shouted as the fifth flash bomb missed them.
"Look out!" Misty yelled as Ash and Squirtle crashed into them near the entrance of the cave.
"Jovan!" Anna shouted.
The dust cloud cleared, showing Jovan still standing in front of Squirtle. Jovan looks behind him to see if the second Squirtle is alright.
"Are you alright?" Jovan asked.
"Squirtle." The second Squirtle answered.
"Good." Jovan chuckled.
Sam and Libby drops two more flash bombs.
"There's two more headed your way!" Anna shouted.
"Go save yourself." Jovan said. "Don't worry about me."
Squirtle releases two spirals of water at the two flash bombs and the two flash bombs exploded. But the second Squirtle didn't notice the purple energy sphere coming towards them. All of a sudden, the mysterious hood figure and Vaporeon appeared.
"Vaporeon, Ice Beam!" The mysterious hood figure ordered.
Vaporeon opens her mouth and fire a stream of water at the sphere and it freezes instantly. Then the frozen sphere destroys itself, making another huge explosion. The second Squirtle hops onto Jovan's back and they flew towards the others with the mysterious hooded figure and Vaporeon.
Everyone didn't notice that there was a little bit of smoke coming from the trees on the hill.
"No more Squirtle Squad." Jessie said. "The town will give us medals and we'll be heroes."
"Not so fast!" A voice shouted.
"Who said that?" Jessie asked.
Jessie and James notices Ash and the first Squirtle on the hill.
"Where they...?" Jessie asked.
"Didn't they...?" Sam asked.
"How did they...?" Justin asked.
"Water Gun attack, Squirtle." Ash ordered, looking at Squirtle.
"Squirtle." Squirtle nodded.
Squirtle releases a spiral of water at Team Rocket's Meowth balloon, making a hole in the balloon.
"Come back here!" James shouted as Pikachu fell out of the basket, followed by Dratini. Jovan flew quickly below Dratini and Dratini landed safely as Jovan flew back to the others.
"I'm coming Pikachu!" Ash shouted.
Ash ran down the hill and jumps into the air, catching Pikachu with both arms and landed on the ground.
"Looks like Team Rocket is blasting off again!" Team Rocket shouted as their balloon took them away somewhere else.
"Are you alright Jovan?" The mysterious hooded figure asks Jovan, looking at the black Dragonite.
Jovan nodded.
"Good." The mysterious hooded figure said.
They couldn't move their bodies due to the purple energy covering them. The creature growled as everyone was about to faint.
"We've got to hang on." Seth grunted.
"Look at Anna!" July gasps.
Everyone notices that Anna's body was glowing.
"ROAR!" Anna roared.
Her body was being covered by a thick, luxurious reddish-orange fur as her long brown hair dissappeared. Nine long tails begins to grow above Anna's butt, each tipped with a light pale red. There was also a fluffy crest atop of her head, and a small mane around her neck.
"What's happening to her?!" Slade shouted.
Anna's green eye's began to gleam with blue eyes. Her ears became pointy and her arms began to transforms into long slender with three-toed paws and so did her feet.
"Anna became a Ninetails." The mysterious hooded figure said.
Anna looks up and growled at the creature. Anna opens her mouth and an orange stream of fire is released from her mouth at the creature, who was caught off guard.
"Was that...?" July wondered.
"Flamethrower." The mysterious hooded figure said.
"Fall back!" One of the pilots shouted over on the radio.
The black helicopter turns around and flew away and the armored creature teleported.
"Let's get back to the others." Slade said.
They all nodded and met up with Ash. Due to the flash bombs, the forest were set on fire. Misty, Brock and the first half of the Squirtle Squad joins them.
"A fire." Brock said. "The blasts must've set it off."
Officer Jenny pulled up behind them and Anna's Pidgeotto landed right next to the red Ninetails.
"If this keeps up, the whole town will go up in smoke." Officer Jenny said.
Ash turns his head around. "Don't worry, Jenny." Ash said. "I've got an idea." Ash looks at whole Squirtle Squad. "Listen. Together, you can use your Water Guns to put out the fire."
The Squirtle Squad nodded their heads together. The Squirtle Squad made their up the hill and were ready to take out the fire. The two Squirtle released spirals of water out of their mouths at the fire, followed by the rest of the Squad. The fire was put out half an hour later.
"And so." Officer Jenny announced, reading a certificate in front of her police station. "We gratefully award this certificate to the Squirtle Squad. Thank you for saving our town from the fire. Because of your skill and bravery, we proudly appoint you the town firefighters."
Ash, Brock Misty, Pikachu, Jovan, Dratini, July, Anna, Seth, Slade and the townspeople clapped and cheered for the Squirtle Squad as Officer Jenny hands over the certificate over to the Squirtle Squad. The townspeople and Officer Jenny gave them all small black coats and help the Squirtle Squad to put them on.
"It looks great on them." Ash smiled.
July turns her head to the left and notices Jovan and Anna transforming back to their human forms.
"I'm glad that's over." Jovan said, rubbing his head.
"Are you okay, Jovan?" Misty asked.
"Yes." Jovan nodded.
Anna was about to fall over, but Jovan caught her.
"What happen...?" Anna asked, dazed as Jovan put her right arm around his neck.
"You've transformed into a Red Ninetails." The mysterious hooded figure said, walking up behind them with Vaporeon.
"But how?" Jovan thought.
"You and Anna have a strong bond together." The mysterious hooded figure said. "But for now, we'll save that for later."
"Who attacked you, Jovan?" Anna asked.
"Some group called Team Neo." Jovan said.
Officer Jenny walks up to them. "You were attacked by another group?" Jenny asked.
"That's right." Jovan said. "Somehow I was captured but I managed to escape."
"I better let the Pokémon League know about this." Officer Jenny said as she turn around walks inside the police station.
"I was also attacked by that armored creature." Jovan said.
"Hhmm." The mysterious hooded figure said. The mysterious hooded figure and Vaporeon disappeared.
Everyone left town as they headed towards their next destination.
"Pi Pi Pikachu." Pikachu hummed, walking on the path.
Misty turns her head around and notices something following them. "Hey, Ash, Jovan." Misty said. "Those two Squirtle are following us."
"Squirtle." The first Squirtle said as the group turns around.
"Squirt." The second Squirtle said.
"Would you like to come with us, Squirtle?" Ash asked.
"Squirtle." The two Squirtle nodded, removing their shades. The two Squirtle finally have new trainers.
Ash and Jovan knelt down as the two Squirtle ran and jump into their arms.
"Welcome to the team Squirtle." Ash said.
"Squirtle." Squirtle said happily.
"Good to have you with us." Jovan said.
"Guess Jovan and I caught a new Pokémon." Ash smiled.
"Pika Pika!" Pikachu cheered.
"Tini!" Dratini cheered.
"Caught?!" Misty growled angrily. "What you mean "caught?"
"Oh what's the difference?" Ash asked, looking at Misty. "They're on our side now."
"So Jovan." July said, looking at her brother. "What are you going to name Squirtle?"
"I'll name it Aqua." Jovan said, looking at the second Squirtle. "How's that?"
"Squirtle." Aqua smiled.
One more adventure, one more new friend. But there's much more excitement waiting around the corner. With the appearance of Team Neo and the armored creature in the Kanto Region, things will be a lot difficult now. But what is Team Neo looking for and why did Anna transform into a red Ninetails.
Back inside the black helicopter, the woman wearing her Team Neo uniform handed over some papers to her boss.
"Here are the results, sir." She said.
The woman handed over the papers to the man who sitting down in a black leather armchair. It was the same man that Jovan didn't notice.
"Excellent." The man said. "That is all. Tell the captain to head back to base."
"Yes sir." The woman said, giving him a salute before leaving.
The man looks at the papers in his hands.
"Project D.P. is growing stronger everyday." The man chuckled evilly.

I'm glad to be back. Sorry for the long wait everyone. My old laptop was running extremely slow, so I didn't get the time to update this story and I had to rewrite this entire chapter all over again. But now that I'm back, I can continue to work on this story.
