Pokémon Shipwreck
Holy Titanic! Just when a Pokémon pirating plan has been prevented by Ash and his friends, catastrophe strikes the St. Anne. The cruise ship capsized with them trapped on board. Team Rocket also faces the same horrible faith as the once proud St. Anne plunges deeper and deeper into the dark depths of the sea. Could this be how it ends?!
As the sun rises over the sea, a small police boat has stop in the middle of the wreckage. Officer Jenny stood in the front of the sea with a bouquet of flowers in her arms as her men stood behind her. Amongst them were Storm, Will, Amy and Kevin. Storm and Amy cried with tears in their eyes as Kevin tries to comfort the two girls.
"At first we thought all the passengers gotten off safely off the ship, we have just discovered thirteen people are missing." Officer Jenny announced."Ash, Brock, Misty, Jessie, James, Jovan, July, Anna, Seth, Slade, Libby, Sam and Justin. It makes us sad to think these young Pokémon Trainers had their promising career cut tragically short. May these flowers honor in your memory."
Officer Jenny throws the bouquet of flowers into the water.
"A salute." Officer Jenny ordered, saluting to the ocean.
All of her men saluted as one of her men plays the trumpet. The bouquet of flowers begins to sink into the sea and vanishes into the dark depths of the ocean.
Jovan slowly's opens his eyes.
"Where am I...?" Jovan muttered.
He gets up and notices he was on top of a roof of stone. Jovan looks up and sees a hole in the sky as dark storm clouds surrounded the palace.
"I must be in the eye of the storm." Jovan said. "But how did I ended up here? Wasn't I on board the ship?"
Jovan turns around and notices his sister and his friends are missing. He can hear lights turning on behind him and he quickly turns around. Several feet below was a stadium with Pokémon fighting against each other. There were three Pokémon with darkish colored marks all over their bodies.
"What's going on?" Jovan thought.
He looks above and notices a black sphere and a white sphere attacking each other in the air. The next thing he knows, Jovan was falling in the air. He quickly notices angry black flames and white flames, surrounding two creatures. The two flames attacks from both sides and Jovan was engulfed inside the blast.
"AAHH!" Jovan screamed.
Jovan opens his eyes fast and sat up quickly.
"Are you alright, Jovan?" July asked.
July was kneeling down on the left side and Anna was on the right side of Jovan as Dragonair was sitting behind Jovan's head. Seth and Slade was leaning on the wall to the left behind July.
"Ye-yes..." Jovan said, trying to catch his breath.
"That's a relief." Anna smiled, giving him a hug.
"But it look like you were dreaming about something." Seth said as he walks over to him.
"I was." Jovan nodded, turning his head to the left as he looks at Seth.
"What was it about?" Slade asked.
"I was on a stone roof, in the eye of the storm." Jovan explains. "There was a palace in the ocean and a stadium inside the palace. There were Pokémon fighting against each other and there was this black sphere and white sphere attacking each other. The next thing I know I'm falling through the air and getting hit in from the two blasts."
"Sounds scary." Slade said.
"So what happened?" Jovan asked.
"Look behind you." Anna pointed over his shoulder.
Jovan got up and turns around to walk over to the window. There was some fish swimming by.
"We're underwater." Jovan gasps.
"The entire ship sunk." Slade said, crossing his arms over his chest.
Jovan turns around to look at him. "Let's get out of here." Jovan said.
They all entered the hall and took a left. As they exit the hallway, July notices the water in the stairwell.
"The water made found its way into the ship." Seth said.
"Let's stay calm." Slade said. "We have air and the water will rise in time."
"And we'll use that time to find an escape." Jovan said.
"Should we head up or down?" July asked.
"The deck is completely underwater." Anna said, looking at Jovan. "And the storage is above our heads."
"Then we should head to the deck." Jovan suggested.
"That's not a good idea." Seth said. "If we transform and remove something underwater, this place will be filled with water quickly."
"Good point." Jovan said.
"I'll go." July volunteered. "I can transform into a Golduck and find something useful."
"Be careful." Jovan said.
"I will." July said.
July transforms into the light blue Golduck and dove into the water. July came across the first hallway underwater. She swam pass by some clothes and books and saw some debris blocking the way.
"Duck?"July asked herself.
July turns around and notices Libby, Sam and Justin floating in the water.
"July is taking a while." Jovan said.
They notice that a body floated up to the surface in front of them.
"AAHH!" They all screamed.
July pushes Sam, Libby and Justin out of the water and onto the staircase.
"It's Sam, Libby and Justin." Jovan said, surprised.
"They all look awful." Seth said.
Sam, Libby, and Justin begin coughing for a few seconds and open their eyes.
"Huh?" Libby asked confused. "You!"
The three of them got up and faces them.
"We have you now." Libby snickered, taking out a Pokéball.
"You guys had to follow us." July groaned.
Sam, Libby and Justin threw their Pokéballs in the air and Spearow, Pidgey and Weedle appeared.
"Let's go!" Jovan and Seth yelled, throwing their Pokéballs and Bulb, Charmander, Auqa and Raticate appeared.
"A match." Jovan said. "Good."
Before either of them can make a move, the ship began to tilt to the right and everyone fell into the hallway and slid on the other side.
"The ship is going to tip over!" Anna yelled.
"Bulb, Charmander, Aqua, Raticate, Pidgey, Spearow, Weedle, get to the other side!"Jovan ordered.
The Pokémon reaches to the other side of the ship and everyone slid to the left side.
"The other side!" Jovan ordered.
As their Pokémon was making their way to the other side, the ship began to shake.
"What's with the shaking?!" July grunted, holding on to her brother.
"The others must be awake now." Seth said, looking at Slade.
"Call back your Pokémon." Anna said, hanging on the railing.
"Fine by me." Jovan said.
Jovan and Seth took out their Pokéballs and their Pokémon transformed into red energy and went back inside their Pokéballs.
"What are you three waiting for?" Anna asked, looking at Libby, Sam and Justin, who was on the other side of Jovan.
"Fine." Libby said as the three of them did the same.
The ship stops shaking as the ship becomes completely still. Everyone got up and made their way to the center.
July stood on Jovan's left side and Anna stood on Jovan' right side as Seth and Slade stood behind them.
"Instead of fighting, we'll have to work together." Anna suggested.
Jovan and Libby shook hands.
"Fine." Libby said. "We'll work together."
"So where do we go from here?" Slade asked.
"We make our way to the hull." Anna said to them.
"Look, up there!" Justin alerted them.
Above them was a staircase. Seth notices some rope laying right next to him.
"Jovan." Seth said. "Do you think you can throw me up there?"
"Yeah." Jovan said looking at him.
Jovan places his hands together and brought his hands next to his stomach. Seth backs up and ran at Jovan quickly. Seth jumps onto Jovan's hand's and Jovan raises Seth over his head. Seth caught the edge with both of hands as he climbs on the platform.
"Here we go." Seth smiled.
Seth untangle the rope and hang it over their heads. They all climb onto the rope and joined Seth before walking into the dark hallway.
"It's dark in here." Seth said.
"Let's go, Charmander!" Jovan called.
Jovan threw his Pokéball and Charmander appeared.
"Charmander!" Charmander said, happily.
Everyone begins to follow Charmander.
"Any idea where this corridor leads us?" Jovan wondered.
"Maybe the engine room." Anna said. "We should be there now."
They came across a metal door and July opens the door. On the other side of the room was the door that lead to the hull on the other side
"This isn't good." Jovan said. "We can't get through the engine room like this."
Sam and Libby hugs each other.
"We're done for." Libby said sadly.
"Not yet we're not." Anna said, looking over her right shoulder.
"Anna, look." Seth said.
Anna looks above and gasps. Hanging above them was several machines.
"If one of those machines drop, it'll start a fire." Slade said.
"Then we have to move quickly." Jovan said. "Go, Bulb!"
Jovan opened his Pokéball and Bulb appeared.
"Bulba!" Bulb shouted.
"Bulb, use Vine Whip." Jovan ordered. "Extend your whips to the other side so we can cross."
"Saur." Bulb nodded.
Two dark green vines came out on either of the bulb and Bulb extend her whips to the doorway on the either side.
"Alright." Jovan smiled. "Good job."
"Let's get out of here!" Justin cheered.
Jovan got on the vines followed by July, Seth, Anna, Libby, Sam and Justin. Dragonair simply flew past by them and made it to the doorway. Jovan, July, Seth, Anna, Sam and Libby made it. Justin was a couple feet away before he heard something snapped. He looks up to the and notices several machines falling.
"Hang on!" July shouted.
She quickly transformed into the light blue Golduck. Her eyes glow blue and so did the several machines.
"Quick thinking." Jovan said, looking at his sister.
"Hurry!" Sam called.
Justin wasted no time as he made it with the others.
"Bulb!' Jovan called. "Hop onto the machines to get to the other side!"
"Quickly." Seth said to Jovan. "I'm not sure if July can hold on much longer."
Bulb nodded as she hops on each machine and made it to the other side.
"Do you think can put them down gently?" Anna asks July.
"Duck!" July groans as her eyes stop glowing blue. The machines stops glowing as well and fell on the floor, creating a fire.
July took a knee down, trying to catch her breath. "That was..." July said, trying to catch her breath. "A little... too... much for...me..."
"You did a good job, July." Anna said kneeling down next to July.
Anna helps her to get back on her feet and they all made their way to the center of the room.
"Now we have to wait for the others." Jovan said.
"We're here!" Ash called.
"There you are." Jovan said turning around and smiled.
"Now we just need to escape." Misty said, looking at Ash.
"Right." Ash said. "Charmander, I choose you!" Ash threw the Pokéball and Charmander appeared.
"Char!" Charmander said.
"Charmander, we need you to weld through the metal hull of the ship with your flame." Ash said to Charmander.
"Char Char." Charmander nodded.
Charmander turns halfway and raise his head.
"Mander!" Charmander shouted, releasing a red-orange flame at the floor above their heads.
"Ok, listen up." Misty said to her friends. "Grab hold of a water Pokémon and swim to the surface."
"Yeah, right." Brock said. "Got it, Ash?"
"I'll be alright with my Squirtle." Ash said, turning around to look at Brock.
"Slade, you'll be with me since I can transform into Golduck." July said.
"Dragonair will help you swim to the surface." Jovan said to Seth and Anna. "I'll be ok with Aqua."
"What about us?!" Jessie complains behind them as Libby, Sam and Justin walks over to Team Rocket.
"Just grab a water Pokémon." Misty said, turning around to look at them.
"Water Pokémon?!" Meowth shouted.
"Get ready." Jovan said, looking above him.
Water began to come in fast.
"You're crazy!" Meowth shouted.
Charmander started running with his tail in front of him, away from the water.
"Return, Charmander!" Ash shouted.
Charmander transform into red energy and went back inside the Pokéball. Misty, Brock and Ash was finished tying themselves to Goldeen, Starmie and Squirtle. Slade tied the rope to July's waist as Seth and Anna was done tying themselves to Dragonair and Jovan finished tying the knot on Aqua's shell.
"Let's go, Squirtle." Ash said.
"Squirtle!" Squirtle agreed.
Misty and Goldeen swam up first, followed by Brock and Starmie, Ash, Squirtle and Pikachu, July and Slade, Anna, Seth and Dragonair then Jovan and Aqua.
"Hurry!" Jovan called out to Team Rocket and Team Neo before disappearing.
"We don't have the right Pokémon!" Jessie yelled.
Making it out of the ship, they all quickly swam to the surface.
"I hate water!" Meowth complained, trying his best not to get wet.
"We're doomed!" Libby yelled.
"Ha ha!" James and Sam started laughing.
Jessie and Libby turns around to the two boys laughing.
"I don't see why it's so funny, you two." Jessie said.
Meowth hops onto her left shoulder. "They must be cracking up, just like the ship." Meowth said.
"All of you made fun of us." James said, without looking at them. "Who has got the last laugh now? A true genius is never appreciated until now."
James and Sam turns around with a gleam in their eyes.
"I knew we need this in a tight spot." James said. "Behold!"
James and Sam took out their gold Pokéballs.
"Magikarp!" Jessie exclaims, kneeling down and bowing her head.
"We're not worthy." Jessie and Meowth said together, as Libby and Justin stares at them.
"Feast your eyes on the king of Karp, Magikarp." James said.
Jessie raise her head to look at them. "You guys are the best." Jessie smiled.
"I take back the fish jokes." Meowth apologizes. "We'll treat you the respect you deserve."
"Better late than never." James said.
James and Sam threw the gold Pokéball and the two Magikarp appeared.
"Karp Magikarp." The first Magikarp said.
"Lucky for me and James that we bought it."Sam brag.
"Enough bragging and tie yourself." Libby growled.
Jessie, James and Meowth tied themselves to the first Magikarp and Sam, Libby and Justin tied themselves to the second Magikarp.
"Let's go Magikarp." Sam grinned. "Freedom awaits us."
Eight seconds passed by as they notice that the two Magikarp isn't swimming.
"It can barely make a splash." Justin said.
"We're doomed!" Libby groaned.
The water begin to come down fast as Team Rocket and Team Neo were swept away into the water. The ship lost its balance and fell into the darkness of the abyss.
Ash, Misty, Brock, Pikachu, Jovan, Dragonair, July, Anna, Seth and Slade were all standing on a raft, looking towards the sea.
"What's taking them so long?" Jovan asked. "They should've reach the surface by now."
"Seems like they're still trapped inside."Anna said as Anna looks at Jovan on her left.
"There's nothing we can do." Brock said. "Except to look for dry land."
"Let's see." Ash said, taking a couple steps forward. He looks to the left then to the right. "There's nothing but ocean in every direction."
"I remember the story of Noah." Brock said.
Everyone looks at Brock.
"He sent a bird to find land and the bird returns with a branch." Brock explains.
"Great idea." Ash smiled. "We're going to do the same things Noah."
Ash and Jovan took out their Pokéballs.
"Pidgeotto, I choose you!" Ash shouted.
"Go!" Jovan yelled as they threw the Pokéballs and their Pidgeotto appeared.
"Geo!" Jovan's Pidgeotto said.
Ash's Pidgeotto and Jovan's Pidgeotto looks down at them from the air.
"Pidgeotto, we need you to bring back anything that you can find." Jovan called up to them.
"Pidgeo!" Ash's Pigeotto said as the two bird Pokémon turn around and flew off.
"We're counting on you." Ash said.
"Cha." Pikachu nodded.
Ten minutes has passed since the two Pidgeotto went off to find anything. Jovan's Pidgeotto looks down at the ocean hoping to find anything out here.
"Geo!" Ash's Pidgeotto shouted.
The two Pidgeotto flew down several feet above the water and notice Team Rocket and Team Neo floating in the water as the two Magikarp were splashing around.
Another ten minutes has passed since the two Pidgeotto brought Team Rocket and Team Neo back to the others.
"They didn't make it..." Misty said.
Jovan didn't say anything.
"The only thing we can do is to give them a burial tradition at sea." Brock suggested.
"It's our duty, even if they were our enemies." Ash said.
Ash, Brock, Misty and Pikachu proceeded to push Team Rocket back into the water. July knelt down next to Libby's body and puts to fingers on her wrist.
"She's alive." July gasps.
"Zombies!" Ash, Brock and Misty screamed.
July turns her head around and notices Jessie and James were alive and angry.
"We are not zombies!" Jessie growled.
July looks back at Libby as Libby opens her eyes.
"Welcome back to the land of the living." July said as Sam and Justin open their eyes.
Night came by as the raft was floating across the sea. Ash, Pikachu, Brock, Misty, Jovan, July, Anna, Seth and Slade was sleeping on the left side of the raft as Jessie, James, Meowth, Libby Sam and Justin were sleeping on the right side of the raft. The two Magikarp were flopping around in the center of the raft.
Morning came as the sun was shining above the sea. Everyone's stomach's was growling.
"I'm so hungry." Ash whined.
"It seems like forever since we ate." Brock said.
"If I known I would be starving, I would've stuff my face on the St. Anne!" Misty complained.
"I want food..." James whined.
"Stop whining." Libby growled, turning her head to the right to look at him.
"It only makes you feel hungrier." Meowth muttered.
Ash and Brock was staring at the two Magikarp.
"Got to eat something." Ash said.
"Like fried karp." Brock said staring at them.
Ash, Brock, Pikachu, Jessie, James and Meowth were staring at the two Magikarp with watery mouths.
"Dinner is served!" Meowth shouted.
Meowth pounces at James Magikarp as he bit the Magikarp.
"Yeow!" Meowth yelled in pain, letting it go.
"Check your Pokedex." Misty said, with arms folded. "Magikarp are just scales and bones."
"You've gotta be kidding me..." Jovan moaned.
"I can't believe these things aren't good for eating or swimming." Sam growled.
"Buying them was stupid." Jessie said looking at James and Sam.
James and Sam stand up.
"We don't want to be your master!" James yelled.
The two boys kick the two Magikarp and they both landed in the water.
"Karp!" The first Magikarp shouted.
"Good riddance." James said.
Everyone felt sorry for the two Magikarp.
"Oh great!" Slade complained.
"Look at the bright side, at least it won't get..." Jovan was saying before everyone gasps.
The two Magikarp was shining brightly. The light disappear and two Pokémon appeared.
It was a serpentine Chinese dragon-like Pokémon. It is mostly blue, with a yellow underbelly and yellow spots along its body. It has a three-pointed, dark blue crest on its head and four white, dorsal fins. Its mouth is very large and gaping, bearing four canine teeth. It has one barbel on each side of its face.
"AAAHHH!" Everyone screamed as they stood up.
"What is that?!" Sam gasps.
"The two Magikarp evolved into Gyarados!" Misty shouted.
"I miss Magikarp." Jessie said, scared.
Slade looks at Jovan.
"Excuse me, were you going to say "worse"?" Slade asked with a annoyed face.
"No." Jovan said.
"No?" Slade questioned him.
"Absolutely." Jovan said.
Ash took out his Pokédex.
"Gyarados. This Pokémon has vicious temperament so use caution. Its fangs can crush boulders and its scales are harder than steel."
"James and I are your masters." Sam introduces himself. "Obey us."
"GYAAA!" Sam's Gyarados roared.
"Aaiiee!" Sam yelps, jumping into Justin's arms.
"Don't be scared of it." Libby scolded him.
"Goldeen, Staryu, Starmie!" Misty shouted, throwing three Pokéballs.
"Goldeen!" Goldeen shouted.
"Ha!" Starmie shouted.
"Ha!" Staryu shouted.
"How are you going to battle them?" Brock asked.
"My strategy is... run away!" Misty shouted.
Staryu, Starmie and Goldeen had ropes tied to them, pulling the raft while everyone was using oars to get away from the two Gyarados.
"Gya!" Sam's Gyarados roared.
"Faster faster!" They all shouted.
The two Gyarados slows down before stopping completely.
"Da!" James Gyarados called.
They all stop to notice that the two Gyarados stops chasing them.
"What is it doing?" Ash asked.
"Maybe they're tired since they evolved." Brock suggested.
"We made it!" Jesse and James cheered, hugging each other.
"Unless the stories are true." Misty said. She hasn't taken her eyes off of them.
"Huh?" Everyone asked confused.
"What are you talking about?" Ash asked.
"Sailors talked terrible stories about the Gyarados." Misty said. "I think this is... it may be Dragon Rage."
"Dragon Rage?" Ash, Brock, Jessie and James repeated.
All of a sudden, eight Gyarados appeared from the water.
"AAHH!" They all screamed.
"Yara!" The ten Gyarados growled.
"We're Gyarados bait!"James yelled.
"Not for long!" Jovan yelled, transforming into the Black Dragonite.
July transformed into the Light Blue Golduck and jumps onto Jovan's back. Her eyes began to glow blue, trying to hold four Gyarados with her mind. July held on to Jovan dodge a tail attack from Sam's Gyarados.
But Jovan didn't notice the other Gyarados as he was slammed down by the Gyarados's body. July lost her focus as she fell into the water. She swam towards her brother quickly, hoping that's he is ok.
"Where are they?" July thought looking around her.
Without warning, the ten Gyarados attacks them both, catching them off guard.
"Duck!" July shouted in pain as the force of the tackle sent her and Jovan out of the water and landed in front of the raft.
"Jovan!" Anna yelled.
Brock and Seth pulls Jovan out of the water while Anna puts him in the center of the raft. July quickly got out of the water to see if her brother was alright.
"Nite." Jovan groans as he got up.
"Duck." July smiled before looking at the ten Gyarados with an angry look on her face.
She jumps off the side of the raft and her body was beginning to glow brightly.
"What's happening to July?!" Ash yelled.
July's arms and legs disappeared and her body was beginning to stretch and grow huge. A barbel grew on either side of her face. Three-pointed, dark blue crest grew on her head and four white, dorsal fins. Its mouth is very large and gaping, bearing four canine teeth. She has a yellow underbelly and yellow spots along her body, but she had a darker blue color.
"She transformed into a Gyarados?!" Slade asked, shocked.
Ash looks back at the Gyarados and notices were swimming around in a circle.
"Hey, what are they doing?!" Ash shouted.
"Dragon Rage." Misty answered. "Gyarados's ultimate attack."
The Gyarados swam a lot faster and a swirling cyclone appeared as it was moving towards them.
"Here it comes!" Everyone screamed.
"Let's move!" Seth roared.
Anna and Slade huddles next to Jovan.
"No ever survived Dragon Rage." Misty said.
"This is it!" Ash yelled.
The cyclone hits them and destroying the raft. Seth and Slade was hanging on to July's body while July was hanging on to her brother and Anna with the lower part of the body. Dragonair wraps her body on July's dark blue crest.
"Whatever you do July, don't let go!" Anna shouted.
"GYARA!" July roared.
July was doing everything she can, but the power of the cyclone was too powerful. She lost her grip, letting everyone go as her strength was leaving her.
"RAGNIT!" A voice bellowed.
She looks above her and notice Jovan was taking some serious damage.
"YARA!" July roared before she lost conscious.
Their underwater escaped ends our heroes in a water cyclone. Talk about a fiendish faith. With things spiraling out of control, will our heroes ever make it back to dry land again?
