Hypno's Naptime
After winning a Rainbow Badge from Erika, Ash and his friends find themselves in a new city.
Jovan looks up at the buildings they were walking by. The buildings that they pass are very tall.
"I'm surprised that these buildings are very tall." Jovan said.
"You can hardly see any sky." Misty said worried.
Slade turns his head towards Brock who was looking at a map. "What's the name of the city that we're all in, Brock?" Slade asked.
"Uh, HopHopHop Town?" Brock tried to ask.
Everyone stops and looks at him.
"That's the name of the city?" Jovan asked with a confused look.
"I wonder why they call it HopHopHop Town." Anna wondered.
"Arnold!" a new voice shouted with relief. A woman with long brown hair, black eyes, was wearing a blue short sleeved shirt, a orange T-shirt, a pink dress and orange shoes ran passed Misty and Pikachu to hug Ash. "Where have you been, Arnold? Mother has been very worried."
Ash looks up at her. "Excuse me but my name is Ash." Ash told her.
"And my name is Misty." Misty smiled, coming up to them.
Brock grabs her shoulders from behind. "She wasn't talking to you, Misty." Brock said.
"I guess not." Misty said with embarrassment. Brock pulled her away from them for a couple of feet.
"Oh!" the woman gasps as she realizes what she was doing and let's got of Ash. "I'm so sorry." she apologized. "But you look just like my Arnold."
"We haven't met someone name Arnold before." Jovan told her.
"Is something wrong?" Anna asked.
"Yes there is." Arnold's mother answered.
"Let's talk over there in the park." Seth suggested.
They walk down the stairs and Ash, Brock, Misty, Pikachu and Arnold's mother took a seat. Seth sat down in between Brock and Ash while Slade stood behind Brock. July and Anna stood behind Misty while Jovan and Dragonair stood behind Ash. All eyes were on Arnold's mother.
"I'm so upset." Arnold's mother said. "Because my son Arnold disappeared, he's been gone for three days. I can't find him anywhere."
"And you haven't heard from him since he disappeared three days ago?" Seth asked her.
"Not a word." she answered.
"Did he went on a journey as a Pokémon Trainer?" Jovan asked.
"My son loves Pokémon." Arnold's mother answered. "But he never said anything about a journey as a Trainer."
"Don't you think he'll probably just come home soon?" Misty asked.
"Hm hm." she answered, shaking his head. "My son is not the only one who's been disappeared recently."
"What?" Brock asked shocked.
"Do you see those posters over there on the wall?"
Brock turns his head to the wall. On the wall, there are poster's of children.
"Posters?" Ash repeated.
"Those are the posters of the children that disappeared." Arnold's mother answered.
"That many?" Misty asked.
"Then this town maybe very dangerous." Ash said.
Misty close her eyes with a dreamy expression on her face. "My picture is going to be on posters when I'm a big star." Misty said with a dreamy look. She notices that Ash was looking at her. "Excuse me!"
"Heh." Ash chuckled, rubbing Pikachu's head. "Maybe in horror movies."
"Pikachu." Pikachu agreed.
"They certainly were nice children, all of them." a familiar voice said.
All of them sees Officer Jenny on her bike, looking at the wall. "Disappearing one by one like that." Jenny said, getting off her motorcycle. "I don't understand about this." She walks towards the wall and stops. Jenny was looking for a good spot to put up this poster. "Now where should I put this?"
"Excuse me, are you the cousin or the cousin of Jenny at Maiden Peak?" Ash asked, running up behind her.
Jenny turns around to look at him. "Actually I'm her cousin's cousin." Jenny answered.
"Go figure." Jovan sighed.
"This one is the most beautiful one." Brock said with a dreamy look on his face.
"They all look the same, Brock, no matter where we go." Anna said to him.
Brock moves Ash out of the way and grabs the officer's hand. "It must be terrible for searching these lost children." Brock said. "I'll be very happy to help you in your search."
"Huh?" Jenny asked confused.
"We can work together hand in hand." Brock smiled.
"Hm." Jenny said, removing her hand from Brock. "Just don't get in the way."
Brock was delighted to hear it from her. Jovan walks to Misty. "Misty." Jovan said.
"What is it, Jovan?" Misty asked.
"July, Anna, Seth, Slade, Dragonair and myself will look for the missing children while you go with Jenny." Jovan answered. "We'll catch up with you later."
"Alright." Misty nodded her head. "Be careful."
Jovan, July, Seth, Anna and Dragonair left their friends in the courtyard as they were walking by some buildings. July notices that her brother stops walking for some reason. "What is it, Jovan?" July asks.
"The woman back there reminded me of our mom." Jovan said, looking up at the sky.
"Yeah." July nodded. "She's always worried about us."
"That's what's moms are for." Jovan said, looking at his sister.
"Nair." Dragonair said, nuzzling Jovan's cheek.
"Now let's solve this case." Jovan said.
"Right." July nodded her head. July felt her body beginning to transform as she transforms into an Eevee. "Vee." July said with cuteness.
"Nice." Slade said, bending his knees next to her. "July transformed into an Eevee."
July tackles into Dragonair by accident before she transforms back into a human. "Sorry about that, Dragonair." July apologize to Dragonair.
"Nair." Dragonair said, rubbing July's hair with her tail.
"I still can't believe you guys can transform into Pokémon." Slade said.
"Maybe we're just special." July suggested.
"So where should we start first?" Jovan asked.
"We'll start asking the children at the Pokémon Center if they know anything about the missing children." Seth said.
"How far is it to the Pokémon Center, Seth?" Anna asked.
"I would say a couple of more blocks." Seth answered.
"Good." Jovan smiled.
They continued walking down a couple more blocks until they reached the Pokémon Center. There a lot of children and adults inside the Main Lobby.
"Let's all split up and ask some of the children." July suggested.
Seth and Slade walks to two little boys.
"Hi there." Seth said, kneeling down in front of them.
"We're looking for a young boy name Arnold." Seth said. "Have you seen him around?"
"No, we haven't." the first boy said.
"Sorry." the second boy said.
Jovan and Anna walks up to the counter.
"Hi." Jovan said.
"Hello." Nurse Joy greeted them. "What can I do for you?"
"We're here about the missing children." Anna informs her.
"The kids that disappeared all of a sudden." Joy said. "I saw it on the news."
"Is there anything that you have that can help us?" Jovan asked.
Before Nurse Joy can answer, a couple of kids ran up to the counter. "Nurse Joy!" a boy exclaim. "Something's wrong with Charmander."
Joy looks over the counter and see's that the Charmander's tail could go out any minute. "I'll take care of it." Nurse Joy smiled at the siblings.
"Thank you." The little boy thanks her. His sister gave Charmander to Jovan and walks away.
"And another mystery appears once again." Nurse Joy said, watching the two siblings walk away before looking back at Jovan and Anna.
"A mystery?" Anna asked. "Is there a problem?"
"Yes." Nurse Joy answered. "Bring your friends with you."
Anna left the counter and got her friends and came back to the counter. Everyone followed Nurse Joy into a big room. On the table was Cuebone, Oddish and Magikarp. Judging by their looks they all look tired. Nurse Joy gently laid Charmander on a table behind them.
"All of the Pokémon here are not feeling well." Nurse Joy said. "Magikarp is affected and it's always full of life."
Jovan stares at Magikarp. Usually it would flop around.
"But this one is in terrible shape." Nurse Joy said, picking up a Pokémon and setting it down on the table.
"Psyduck." it said. It was a yellow Pokémon that resembles a duck or bipedal platypus. Three tufts of black hair grow on top of its head, and it has a wide, flat, cream-colored beak and vacant eyes. Its legs, arms, and tail are stubby and its webbed feet are cream-colored. There are three claws on both of its hands.
Jovan took out his Poké Dex. "Psyduck, a Water Pokémon. Uses mysterious powers to perform various attacks."
"That's not hard to believe." Anna said.
"How did this happen?" Slade asks Nurse Joy.
"Three days ago." She answers him.
Anna looks at Jovan. "That's the same time when all the missing children disappeared." Anna said.
"Is there some sort of connection between the missing and the Pokémon's lack of energy?" Jovan asked.
"Perhaps we should look around the city for some clues." July suggested.
They said goodbye to Nurse Joy and was standing outside of the Pokémon Center.
"So what's the plan when we find the source?" July asked.
"Wait for everyone to catch up with us." Seth said. "That way we'll have an advantage."
"Got it." Jovan nodded. "Let's go, Dragonair."
Jovan took a couple steps forward and bumps into a well-dressed man. He has short brown hair and was wearing glasses over his black eyes. The man was wearing a white shirt underneath a blue jacket with a red tie and was wearing light blue pants and black shoes.
"I'm sorry I bump into you sir." Jovan apologize.
"Don't worry about it." the man said.
"Thank you." Jovan said.
"You kids have a nice day now." the man said. "I don't want to be late now." He quickly left them in a hurry.
Slade looks at Jovan, July and Dragonair. "Where will you three go?" Slade asked.
"Jovan, Dragonair and me will fly all over the city to find the source of all this." July answered.
"Then the three of us will look for the missing kids." Anna smiled.
"So what's the signal when we the source of the kids?" Slade snickers at Jovan and Anna. "Will the signal be that Jovan admits his feelings to Anna?"
"Dude!" Jovan growled angrily at him, his face turning red.
Anna was blushing and turns away.
"The signal will be Jovan's Hyper Beam or Dragonair's Ice Beam." Seth said. "Once we see the signal, all three of us will come running."
Jovan transforms into his Black Dragonite and July got on her brother's back. Jovan and Dragonair flew high into the air, overlooking the city. July made sure to hold on tightly so she wouldn't fall. "Let's land on the top of that building there so we can figure out where to find the children." July said, pointing to a building.
Jovan, July and Dragonair landed on the top of the building. July got off of her brother's back and walks past her.
As July was deciding where they should investigate the source, Dragonair spoke to Jovan.
"I hope we find the kids soon, Master." Dragonair said.
"Yeah." Jovan said. He felt this was the right time to ask Dragonair some questions. "Dragonair, were you the one who spoke to me when met Bulbasaur and Bulb?"
The Dragon Pokémon nodded her head. "That's right." Dragonair said.
Jovan's eye's went wide. "How can I able to talk to you?" he asked.
The Dragon Pokémon looks up at him. "I can talk to you when you're in this form." Dragonair said. "But when you transform back into a human, you can only hear me saying my name. You look quite impressive as a Dragonite yourself, Master."
"Thanks." Jovan blushed.
"But I must say," Dragonair said, eyeing him, "A human, such as yourself, transforming into a Pokémon with a different color is very interesting."
"I don't know what to say." Jovan said.
July was overlooking the city while her brother was talking to Dragonair. "The children shouldn't have gotten far." July said.
Jovan transforms back into his human form and walks up to his sister. "So where do you think the children have went?" Jovan asked.
"I'm not sure." July said. "But let's fly above the city down the middle and go over areas we haven't went."
"Got it." Jovan said, transforming into his black Dragonite form and July got on his back. Jovan and Dragonair flew high above the city.
They flew straight at the center of the city. Before Jovan, Dragonair and July can fly off, Jovan looks down and sees a mansion. There was a mansion on top of the skyscraper. July notices it as well.
"Do it." July said.
Jovan opens his mouth and releases a orange beam into the sky. The two Dragon Pokémon and July flew down to the roof at the center of the roof. July turns around and sees her friends coming out of the elevator with Officer Jenny.
"We saw your signal and met up with the others." Slade said.
"Good." Jovan said, who back in his human form. "Let's go."
Everyone ran to the front of the door. Jovan and Seth kicks the door in and everyone ran inside. After the doors open, Ash and Brock ran past them and stops. Inside the room was a bunch of people wearing fancy clothes. In the center of the room was two Pokémon. The first one is bipedal Pokémon that resembles a tapir. It has tired-looking eyes, a short trunk above its mouth, and triangular ears. The upper half the body is yellow and the lower half is brown. A wavy line separates the two halves. It has a round belly and short legs. Its feet are brown, except for its two toes, which are the same yellow as the upper half of the body. The bottom of each foot has a small, round, pink pad in the middle of it. There are three fingers on each of its hands.
The second one is a bipedal, humanoid Pokémon that has yellow skin. It has two triangular, ears on the top of its head and two sleepy looking eyes with a large nose underneath. On its neck, it has a ruff of white fur. It has five fingers on each hand and holds a pendulum in its left. There are three toes on each of its feet, which have a pink pad on the undersides.
"What is this place?" Brock wondered.
"What's going on here?" Ash wonders as well.
Jovan notices the same man from before in front of the Pokémon Center. "I know you." Jovan said. "I've bumped into you at the front of the Pokémon Center."
"That is right." the man said. "Are all of you new members?"
"New members?" Jovan repeated.
Jenny moves past Brock. "We've been monitoring some sleep waves that was coming from up here."
"Sleep waves?" the man muttered. "Oh, I know." He turns around to look the Pokémon that was sitting on the table. "This Hypno must be emitting them."
"Hypno?" Ash asked as everyone took out their PokéDex.
"Hypno. A hypnosis Pokémon. It carries a pendulum device to perform hypnotic attacks."
"And who's that?" Slade wondered.
"Drowzee. Said to be a descendant of the dream-eating tapir. It was the first Pokémon to use a combination attack like Hypnosis and Dream Eater."
"Hypno is the evolved form of Drowzee, if I'm not mistaken." Seth said.
"That's right." the man said. "Our Drowzee evolved into Hypno three days ago."
"I knew it." Jenny said, looking at them. "That's when the children went missing and the Pokémon losing their energy."
Another man holding a drink spoke. "We've been using the Pokémon instead of taking sleep medicine."
"Who do you mean by "we"? Misty asked.
"The members of the Pokémon Lover's Club." the man said.
"Pokémon Lover's Club?" Misty asked.
"Precisely." the man smiled. "All of our members adores Pokémon, you see. And Hypno has become our favorite Pokémon."
Jovan looks past him.
"Everyone's hard work has paid off when Drowzee evolved into Hypno." the man explains.
"Hm." Jovan sad.
"Living our lives in the city has been stressful." the man continued. "All the members suffer from insomnia we rely on Hypno's power to help us sleep well at night."
An elderly man sat down and Hypno began its work. "Hypno." it said, swinging its pendulum in front of the man's face.
"Hypno's sleep wave must've affected all the other Pokémon and zapping their energy." Ash said.
Jovan has said nothing as Misty pulls Pikachu out of Ash's backpack.
"Take a look at my Pikachu." Ash said.
"Pika." Pikachu muttered.
Anna looks at the man. "The same thing happened at the Pokémon Center as well." she told him.
"It must be a side effect." Brock said.
"What do you mean, Brock?" Ash asked, turning his head to the left to look at him.
Brock looks at the raven haired trainer. "Hypno's hypnotic power are only used on other Pokémon. "If the wavelength is changed to humans, it's creating a side effect on the Pokémon."
"Hm." Jovan said, rubbing the back of his head.
The man turns around to look at Hypno. "Somehow we accidently caused a terrible situation." he said.
"I bet that this wavelength has an effect on children who are sensitive to it as well." Brock said.
"You mean the missing children?" Ash asked.
"Yeah." Brock said.
Misty walks over to the table and gently lay Pikachu down on a soft chair. She walk in front of Hypno and knelt down in front of it. "Let's see." Misty said.
Hypno began to wave it pendulum back and forth in front of Misty. Jovan watches as Misty's eyes were closing halfway. Then Misty turns her back on Jenny and started clapping her hands.
"Seel Seel." Misty said, clapping her hands.
"No way." Jovan gasps.
"Misty is being controlled by the sleep waves." Brock said.
"We've got to do something." Ash said, looking at Brock.
Misty stands up and ran past her friends.
"Let's go." Jovan said to his friends. Before he can run, Jovan can feel his body beginning to change and he changes into Arcanine. "Nine." Jovan said, lowering his body as Anna and Seth get on his back.
Everyone chases after Misty into a park.
"Why didn't we notice there was a park this big in the city?" July wondered, running besides Slade.
They all continue to chase Misty and everyone stops running and gaps. There was a lot of children running around the park. Misty was clapping her hands near a pond. The children were acting like they were Pokémon. A little girl was running, flapping her arms if she was a Butterfree.
Jovan notice a little girl slithering on the grass.
"Tini." the little said.
Jovan transforms back into his human form.
"What's happening?" Ash wondered. "Why are they acting that way?"
"Pokémonitis." Brock answers.
"Pokemonitis?" Ash asked, looking at Brock.
"With that new wavelength, the kids who were exposed to Hypno's sleep waves think that they're Pokémon now." Brock said.
"And it got Misty too?" Ash wondered before looking back at Misty.
"Yeah." Brock said.
The man was surprised. "How on earth could a thing like this happen?" he asked.
No one has said a word. Every where they see in the park was children who think they're Pokémon. Jovan wanted to say something but no words came out of his mouth. He watches with interest to see a little boy acting like a Growlithe. Jenny claps her hands, getting their attention.
"Alright, wake up, children." Jenny said, walking up to the children. "It's time to wake up. All of your mothers are worried sick." She tries to pull a little girl on her feet but the little girl pulls her arm away and continues to splash in the puddle.
"It's just no use." Jenny said.
"What can we do?" Ash asked.
"Say, I know." the man said. "Why don't we use Drowzee to wake up the children?"
Everyone turns around to look at them.
"Drowzee?" Ash asked.
The man nodded. "Sleep in its dream wavelengths may counteract Hypno's wavelength."
Brock smiles at this idea. "It might work." Brock said.
"Let's give it a try." Ash smiles.
"Anna and I will get Misty." Jovan said. He and Anna ran over to Misty. But the two of them didn't notice a little slithering in the grass and the two trainers trip into the pond. Jovan and Anna were wet.
July walks up to them. "So, are you going to confess your feelings to each other?" July chuckled.
"July!" Anna said angrily, her face turning red.
Everyone went back to the Pokémon Club and Drowzee was sitting in front of Misty. The man stood behind Misty.
"Drowzee, emit your wavelengths and focus them on this girl." he said to it.
"Drowzee." it said. "Drowzee." Drowzee waves its hands, releasing multiple multicolored circles from its face at the hypnotized Misty.
Misty stops clapping her hands and closed her eyes.
"Hm." Jovan said.
"She must be in a pretty deep trance." Brock said.
Drowzee claps its hands and Misty opens her eyes.
"Where am I?" Misty wondered.
"Gee, Misty, you're looking beat." Ash joked.
Misty got up from her chair and walks up to Ash. "If I want your opinion, I'll ask for it!" Misty shouted angrily.
"I'm glad to see that Misty is back to normal." Jovan smiled.
Jenny nodded her head in agreement. "Now we got to use Drowzee's power to wake the other children in the park." Jenny said.
Ash picks up Drowzee with his hands and sets Drowzee's arms on his hat. "Okay." Ash said. "Now we got to wake up those other kids so they can get back to normal."
Everyone followed Ash outside onto the roof.
"You mean I thought I was a Pokémon?" Misty asks Ash while they were running.
"Yeah." Ash said, looking at Misty. "You've turned completely into a Seel."
But something caught Brock's eye in the sky. "What's that?" Brock asked as he stops running.
Everyone stops running and notice it too.
"Whatever it is, its coming this way." Misty said.
"It's them again." Ash said angrily.
"Prepare for trouble!"
"Make it double!"
"To protect the world from devastation!"
"To unite all peoples within our nation!"
"To denounce the evils of truth and love!"
"To extend our reach to the stars above!"
"Jessie!"
"James!"
"Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light!"
"Surrender now or prepare to fight!"
"Meowth! That's right!"
"Let's steal that hypnosis Pokémon!" Justin shouted.
Team Rocket and Team Neo were gliding through the air in red paragliders. Jessie, Meowth, Libby and Justin landed behind them on their feet while James land on his butt and Sam lands on his face.
"Nicely work on the landing." Meowth said, looking at James.
Jessie stands up, looking at them. "Team Rocket and Team Neo is here to steal Hypno and Drowzee." she said.
"You're dreaming." Ash growled.
"We'll se who's dreaming after this." Jessie pointed at him She takes out something. "If Hypno can put anything to sleep, try this." Jessies turns around to face Hypno and removes the rag, revealing a mirror.
"Don't!" Jovan warns her.
"If you have pride as a hypnosis Pokémon, you'll do it." Jessie smiles evilly.
"This is not a trick." Justin said. "This is a Team Rocket and Team Neo, "Mirror Mirror on the wall, who's the sleepiest of them all" strategy!"
James walks up to it holding the mirror. "Just don't hypnotize me." James said nervously, placing the mirror in front of Hypno. "Okay, do it."
"Hypno." it said. "Hypno." It swung its pendulum back and forth in front of the mirror. The pendulum glows, releasing multi-color rings at the mirror. The rings bounce off the mirror and hits Hypno instead.
"You've got to do something, Ash." Misty said to Ash.
"I'm way ahead of you!" July shouted as she transforms into Eevee. July tackles into the mirror, destroying it. She runs back her brother as Hypno woke up.
Libby growled angrily. "And we thought so hard to come up with that plan."
Jessie and James pulls out two black whips and captured Drowzee and Hypno.
"We've got them!" Justin cheered.
"Why didn't we do this from the beginning?" James asked.
Ash was doing his best to pull Drowzee away from Jessie.
"Hang on, Ash!" Misty shouted, taking out a Poké Ball. "Go Staryu!" She throws the Poké Ball and Stayu appeared.
"Hah!" it said, flying towards the whip and cutting it half.
Jovan, in his Arcanine form, bites the whip in half, freeing Hypno.
"Ahh!" Jessie and James yelled, falling backwards.
Ash saw his chance and takes out a Poké Ball. "Pidgeotto, go!" Ash shouted, throwing the Poké Ball in the air and Pidgeotto appeared.
"Geo!" it chirped.
"Pidgeotto, powerful Gust!" Ash ordered.
"Pidge Otto!" It shouted, flapping its wings and creating a strong gust of wind.
"Aahh!" Team Rocket and Team Neo yelled, trying to hold on.
"Give them your best blast!" Ash ordered.
"Geo!" Pidgeotto shouted, flapping its wings faster.
Anna transforms into Vaporeon. Her tailfin began to glow white and multiple yellow stars with golden sparkles around them come out from its her tail and hits Team Rocket and Team Neo. All six of them couldn't hold on as they were all blown away into the sky.
"Please tell me we're dreaming!" Libby yelled.
"We're not!" Sam shouted.
"It's a nightmare!" Justin shouted.
"Looks like Team Rocket and Team are blasting off again!" Team Rocket and Team Neo fell back down in the city, landing somewhere.
"Let's go, guys!" Brock yelled.
"Right." Ash nodded hi head.
Everyone made it to the park and Drowzee stood in front of them.
"Drowzee." it said. "Drowzee." Drowzee waves its hands, releasing multiple multicolored circles from its face at the hypnotized target, causing the children to fall asleep.
"They're all dreaming." Brock said.
Ash looks at his sleeping Pikachu on his right shoulder. "Even Pikachu is dreaming too." Ash said with a smile.
Drowzee then claps its hands together, waking up the children and freeing them from hypnosis.
All of the children open their eye and sat up, wondering how did they get into the park.
"Hey, how did I get into the middle of the park?"
"Me too. I should be working on to be a Pokémon Trainer."
"I want to be a fireman."
"I'm going to be a doctor."
All of the kids left the park.
"Pika." Pikachu muttered, opening his eyes.
Ash gasps as Pikachu shakes his head and Pikachu is fully awake. "Sounds like you're back to your old self." Ash smiled.
"Arnold!" Arnold's mother cried out.
"It's that mother we've met." Misty said.
Arnold and his mother embrace each other in a hug.
"We should get to the Pokémon Center to cure the Pokémon." Slade said.
"Right." Ash nodded.
Everyone heads to the Pokémon Center. Drowzee stood at the end of the table and did its work. After Drowzee claps its hands, Cubone, Oddish, Magikarp and Charmander woke up.
"Cubone." Cubone said.
"Oddish!" Odish shouted in joy.
"Charmander." Charmander said with a smile.
Slade chuckled to see Magikarp flopping around with full of energy.
"The Pokémon are all back to normal." Nurse Joy smiled.
"Sometimes I wonder what the Pokémon dream about." Misty said.
"Same here." Jovan smiled.
Brock nodded his head, crossing his arms over his chest. "The Pokémon must've been dreaming of evolving and getting stronger." Brock said.
"I'd dream about that too." Misty said.
"That's just one more case solved by Ash Ketchum, master detective." Ash said, smiling.
Misty and Brock looks at Ash with an annoyed look on their faces.
"Excuse me, but you didn't solve anything." Misty said with an annoyed look.
"Are you joking?" Brock asked.
"Ha ha." Ash laughed nervously.
"Ah." Nurse Joy sighed.
"Nurse Joy?" Slade asked, walking up to her. "What's wrong?"
Nurse Joy was looking at Psyduck. "All of the Pokémon are better and this one is still holding its head." Nurse Joy said.
"Leave it to me." Brock said, walking up to her. "Caring for Pokémon is my sole purpose. The reason I exist."
Nurse Joy looks at Brock. "Then maybe you can help it." Nurse Joy said before looking back at Psyduck.
Everyone left the Pokémon Center with Psyduck following behind them.
"Psyduck." Psyduck said.
"You did say "Leave it to me", Brock." Jovan said.
Brock turns his head around to look at it. "But Psyduck is a Water Pokémon." Brock said. "You better take it, Misty."
Misty was walking backwards with her arms behind her back, looking at Psyduck. "Why would I want such a boring Pokémon?" Misty asked.
Jovan takes out his PokéDex.
"Psyduck. Contently gets a headache."
"You mean this thing always gets a headache?!" Misty yelled angrily, pointing at it. But she fell backwards and her Poké Ball rolls out of her Pocket. "My Poké Ball!"
The Poké Ball rolls up to Psyduck.
"Psy." Psyduck said, tapping the sphere.
The Poké Ball grew.
"Duck." it said, tapping the Poké Ball again.
The Poké Ball open and Psyduck transforms into red energy and went inside the Poké Ball.
"Oh no." Misty groans. "Now its inside my Poké Ball?!"
"Good work, Misty." Ash said, turning his head to the right to look at her. "You've captured Psyduck."
"Now I've got the headache." Misty moaned, rubbing her head and hanging her head.
And so, Misty effortlessly captures Psyduck and the mysteries were all solved. Congratulations!
"Don't congratulate me!" Misty yelled angrily.
Jovan looks at July, Anna, Seth, Slade and Dragonair. "Sometimes I wonder if this is a dream that we're all having." Jovan said.
"I know." July nodded.

That's another chapter finished. I bet all of you weren't expecting Dragonair speaking to Jovan, heh. I'm glad that two OC's has some Pokémon transformation. It's still a long way to get to the Indigo League. How I'm going to explain how Dragonair can speak to Jovan will be mentioned sometime later.
