May rubbed her eyes as she woke up from her sleep, after doing so and allowing her eyes to adjust to the morning sun, May looked around only to see her teammates were asleep as was Dr. Oobleck.
'Is Jaune still taking watch?' She asked herself
She got up from her sleeping bag and headed upstairs to see if Jaune was still awake. As she got up to the second floor, she saw no sign of Jaune.
'He's not here?' May thought
She quickly went back down to the ground floor and grabbed her rifle before she walked outside and looked around the nearby streets of the ruined city, but still no sign of Jaune. Now she was beginning to worry, she rushed back in and alerted her team.
"Guys! Guys!" May cried out
Her yelling slowly or abruptly woke up her team and Oobleck.
Oobleck put on his glasses and looked over at the sniper. "What appears to be the problem, Ms. Zedong?" Oobleck asked her
"It's Jaune, he's not here!" May said
"What?" Oobleck asked
"Jaune! He took watch last night and now he's not here!" May cried
"Before we assume the worst, let me try and contact Mr. Arc on his scroll," Oobleck said as he grabbed his scroll. Oobleck called Jaune but there was no answer, Oobleck tried one more but once again, there was no answer. "There's no answer," Oobleck said
"Oh great!" Brawnz said, "We lost him!"
"Not exactly," Oobleck said, "As long as his Scroll is not destroyed, we can track him, by an app that is installed into each student's scroll
"Beacon has something like that?" Roy asked
"Yes, this was a safety precaution that Ms. Goodwitch had come up with," Oobleck said. Oobleck activated the tracking app and where he saw Jaune's scroll surprised him, but also made his eyes widen with the realization of a crucial detail that he had forgotten about the city itself. "Of course! How could I have forgotten!?" Oobleck cried
"Doctor?"
"It explains why we haven't seen any criminal activity in the day! Long ago! When Mt. Glenn's upper settlement was being attacked constantly, but not wanting to move, many of the locals moved underground!" Oobleck cried
"Whoa! Are you saying that beneath us is an underground city!?" Nolan asked
Oobleck nodded, "Precisely! However, that's not all!" Oobleck told him "The underground city also developed a train system that connected right to the main kingdom for trading dust and other supplies, however, after breaching a cave that was filled with tons of subterranean Grimm, they closed off the system, I suspect that some criminals are using the underground city and train system as we speak!" Oobleck cried as he zipped all over the place
"Doc, What are you saying!?" May asked
Oobleck zipped over to her and looked right into her face, "My girl we're not just looking for an underground crime network! We're looking for an underground crime network!" Oobleck said
"What do we do?" Roy asked
"If Mr. Arc is down there, most likely taken hostage by these Criminals in the underground cave system, then we have no other choice," Oobleck began, suddenly, his thermos turned into a flamethrower staff, "We must go and get him back!"
May nodded in agreement and the other quickly took what they needed and followed professor Oobleck through the city to find a way into the underground city. Oobleck and BRN had a new mission, they would rescue the blonde knight!

Jaune had no idea where he was, all he could see was darkness, but worst of all, he felt as if he was sinking. Sinking deep down into the dark abyss.
"W-Where am I?" Jaune asked himself "Am... Am I dead?" Jaune asked himself
"YOUR LIFE..."
Jaune was shocked when he heard the deep and growling voice, he looked around for the source of it in the surrounding darkness, "Hello?" Jaune asked, "Who's there?"
"YOUR LIFE... YOUR FRIENDS... YOUR FAMILY... I WANT IT!"
Jaune looked around in the darkness for the voice but he still could not find it. "Where are you!? W-Who are you!?" Jaune asked as he still continued to look around, though this time, he felt sacred.
"I WANT IT! JAUNE ARC!"
Jaune finally realized where the voice was coming from, and he looked down into the abyss of the darkness. Suddenly, rising out of the darkness was the head of the Dragon Grimm and Jaune could tell that its eyes stared at him, Jaune was horrified as he stared back at the Grimm.
"Wh-Who Are You!?" Jaune cried
The Dragon Grimm opened its mouth widely, showing off its rows of fangs and just how wide big its mouth was.
"I... AM... FAVNEAR!"
Suddenly, Jaune's eyes opened and his vision was blurred a first but they soon adjusted, and he looked around, only to find himself in what appeared to be a train cart.
"Well, Well, Well, looks like our friend is finally up"
Hearing that familiar voice, Jaune looked over to his right only to see the last two people he had ever expected to see standing side-by-side. Roman Torchwick and Adam Taurus.
"Roman!" I should have known you were behind this!" Jaune said
Romans smiled, "Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know," Roman said, "What are you doing here kid?" Roman asked as he took a puff of his cigar
"They've been reports and rumors of Criminal activity going on in Mt. Glenn," Jaune said
"So they are on to us," Adam whispered to Roman
Roman then looked at him, "But how?" Roman asked, still whispering "We make sure nothing happens during the day, and at night, we check for any passing Bullheads, so how are they on to us?"
Adam thought about it and then looked to Roman, "A spy or a traitor among us?" Adam asked
"Maybe, but who?"
"That I don't know, but I will search inside my ranks, and you do the same,"
Roman nodded in agreement as he took another puff of his Cigar and looked back at the tied-up blonde teen.
"So what are you planning now Roman?" Jaune asked
"And why would I tell you that?" Roman asked "You've caused me and most of all my boss a lot of trouble, so this is why you aren't going to be leaving here alive," Roman finished
Roman raised up his cane and aimed it at Jaune, but Adam stopped him bu grabbing his arm, causing Roman and Jaune to look at the bull Faunus.
"What are you doing?" Roman asked
"I want to fight him," Adam said
"What?" Roman asked
Adam turned his head to the Crook, "You heard me, Torchwick," Adam said "I want to fight him... I've heard so much from you and the witch that I would like to see his strength for myself,"
"You can not be serious!?" Roman cried
"I am," Adam said
Roman lowered his cane and let out a sigh, "Fine, fight him and make sure you kill him! Because if this comes back to bite us in the ass! I'm making sure you're to blame," Roman said
Adam nodded and then ordered two White-Fang guards whose names were Perry and Deery, to pick him up and take him outside. They did so and in a clear space, they stood Jaune up and Adam stood across from him, he also ordered them to untie him and give him his weapon. As Perry began to cut his bonds, Jaune noticed that they were loading up a bunch of stolen Atlast weapons and more mechs, as well as more dust.
Deery fetched his weapon, and she quickly handed it to him. Jaune took Crocea Mors and unsheathed it and activated the shield. Adam unsheathed his weapon, a red blade called Wilt. Jaune took his stance, as did Adam, both preparing to fight.
"Jaune Arc, correct?" Adam asked
"Yeah," Jaune said, "And your Adam Taurus, right?"
Adam nodded, "I am," Adam said "I have a question for you, Jaune,"
Jaune was a bit confused but decided to go along with it, "What?" Jaune asked
"Do you enjoy fighting?" Adam asked
Jaune was confused, "What?" Jaune asked
Without an answer, Adam charged at Jaune and swung Wilt at him, Jaune blocked his attack with his shield but the force behind him caused him to skid back and managed to knock him a bit off balance. Jaune was a little stunned, not because he was pushed back or because he was thrown off balance... but because the blow had rattled his arm, something that didn't happen anymore.
He had fought Yatsuhashi, Sun, Arslan, Yang, Tai, and Ozpin, they were the strong and the heaviest hitters he knew, and he had actually become accustomed to their blows, which helped up in defense with his shield.
But Adam... his attack had a lot more force behind it, a hell of a lot more force.
Jaune decided to attack, he pushed Aura into Crocea Mors and unleashed an Arcus Mortis at the Bull Faunus. Adam saw the attack and quickly blocked it with Wilt, which glowed red and absorbed the attack!
Jaune was shocked by this, he had never seen anyone ever tank his attack, and even Yang with her conversion semblance was still wounded by it.
"There was no power behind that attack," Adam stated "Allow me to show how to use such an attack..."
Adam's blade and hair glowed before he unleashed a red attack from his blade, similar to Jaune's Arcus Mortis. Jaune's eyes widened and he quickly blocked that attack with his shield, but the attack was so powerful that Jaune was sent flying backward and crashed into the side of an empty dust shipping container.
'W-What the hell!?' Jaune asked 'That was like Arcus Mortis but at the same time it wasn't... it packed quite of a punch... but what the hell was it!?'
Jaune decided to hatch a plan, so he stood back up and decided to go all out. Jaune activated Aura Sight and Aura Step. He quickly vanished from Adam's sight, shocking some of the White-Fang who were watching the fight.
"What the-!? Where the hell did he go!?"
"Did he turn invisible?"
"Does he have some sort of teleporting Semblance?"
Adam paid no mind to their theories, as he waited for the boy to appear. From behind, Jaune appeared, which actually shocked Adam for a split second, but Adam turned around and narrowly dodged the attack. Adam quickly backed up, but Jaune disappeared again, Adam was confused once more before Jaune appeared to fight in front of him with his blade pulled back, ready to stab Adam. Adam stepped to the side just as Jaune thrust his blade. Adam grabbed Jaune's sword arm and looked closely at the boy, Jaune was stunned but glared at the Bull Faunus.
"I'll ask you again, Jaune," Adam began "Do. You. Like. To. Fight?" Adam asked
"No. I don't" Jaune told him
Adam stood silent for a few moments as he looked deep into the blonde's eyes. "Liar," Adam said
Adam swung his blade at Jaune while still holding his sword arm, but Jaune managed to dodge the attack thanks to Aura Sight. Jaune broke free from Adam's grasp and backed up. Jaune then unleashed another Arcus Mortis and Adam once again absorbed it, but what he failed to see, was Jaune appearing to his side, and swinging at him. Jaune hit Adam, and Jaune noticed that his Aura activated, protecting him from the blow, but his attack still sent Adam stumbling to the side a little.
Jaune then unleashed another Arcus Mortis at Adam, Adam saw this attack coming, and once again, absorbed the blow, and Jaune once again appear to his right side, however, this time, Adam was ready, as he took out his scabbard, also known as Blush and aimed it at Jaune, Jaune saw this and quickly realized that it wasn't an ordinary scabbard, Adam fired Blush it off just as he finished absorbing Jaune's Arcus Mortis, but Jaune dodged the attack and gained distance between him and Adam.
Adam looked at him and Jaune looked back at him.
"You're really disappointing me, Jaune," Adam told him
Jaune glared at him, "Sorry to disappoint you," Jaune said
"Your fighting as if this was a spar," Adam said, "you fighting as if your life doesn't depend in it! This is a battle with swords, not some puny fist fight! As long as you and I are still standing and breathing, the fight isn't over!" Adam declared
"You're making this a fight to the death!? Why!? What for!? There's no reason to kill each other!" Jaune cried
Adam gripped Wilt tighter, "Are you telling me you need a reason to fight?" Adam asked
Adam vanished and appeared right in front of Jaune, shocking him. Adam swung at Jaune but Jaune blocked his swing with Crocea Mors, the two now locking blades.
"You should admit to yourself," Adam told him
"Admit what?" Jaune asked with a glare
Jaune pushed Adam back and Adam backed up but he then once again vanished and appeared to Jaune's left, Jaune quickly raised his shield up to block an attack, but Adam kicked his shield, causing Jaune to stumble to the side
"That you enjoy fighting," Adam, "I see that gleam in your eye, you crave power, right, Jaune? And you like to measure that power when you fight, don't you?" Adam asked
Jaune wanted to rebut but he stopped himself as he let Adam's words sink in. Jaune would admit, that he always got a slight rush when he fought, even during spars, but he always thought it was just a rush of adrenalin, but now... the more he thought about it when he fought against people he could measure his skills against, like Tai or even his friends, he enjoyed the fight.
"It's ok if you do, it's like this for everyone, even if they don't realize it! We, People like you and I, should never deny this part of us! You and I were born to fight! We're born to fight and we always will! We do it instinctively!" Adam told Jaune, "The question now is do we fight to gain more power? Or do we gain more power to fight?" Adam asked him
Adam swung at Jaune again, but Jaune dodged his attack, he then tried to attack Adam but Adam also dodged his attack.
"I will tell you Jaune that I am someone who fights in order to gain more power!" Adam declared "Because when you have power, the power to crush and slaughter those that stand in your way, you are the strongest! Power is what makes our dreams a reality!" Adam declared
Jaune unleashed an Arcus Mortis at Adam but Adam dodged it this time and saw Jaune vanish before reappearing and trying to swing at him, but Adam blocked his attack and pushed his blade back. Adam swing at Jaune this time, but Jaune blocked it. The two continued thrashing their blades at each other
"I don't fight for power!" Jaune cried
Adam grimaced at him, "You are still denying it, Jaune!" Adam cried
The two then blade locked before Adam pushed Jaune back. Adam swing at Jaune furiously, but Jaune saw all of his moments as they slowed and he was able to dodge them with ease.
"Your when you say you don't fight for power! If that is true then what do you Fight for!?" Adam asked
"For my friends! For my family! For those closest to me!" Jaune told him, "I fight to protect them! That's it!"
Jaune unleashed an Arcus Mortis at Adam, but the Bull Faunus quickly absorbed the attack through Wilt, however, Jaune vanished and appeared right behind Adam and sent another Arcus Mortis his way, however, Adam vanished too and appeared to the side as Jaune's attack missed and Adam turned back to face him.
"Then you're a fool to still think that you don't fight for power!" Adam cried "Do you not seek power to protect!? Do you not seek out power to fight your enemies who threaten the lives of you and your friends!?"
Jaune let his words sink in... And realized that Adam was right. Ever since his first fight with Roman, Jaune wanted more strength... More power, in order to protect his friends... But was it actually to fight? To satisfy some type of lust for battle? Did he enjoy fighting? Or was it truly to protect his friends? To not be so weak and be the reason they got hurt? Was he... Was he like Adam?
Adam could tell that his words were having an impact on him. And why would they? Adam knew had the boy thought... Because he had thought the same way a very long time ago.
Adam wanted nothing more than to have rights, not just for himself, but for those he cared about. He once believed that he could change the world through his words and his feelings like Ghira did. But as he remembered what humans did to him, what they were capable of, the pain they caused... He didn't believe in such a peaceful way. Words and speeches meant nothing... If they wanted to change, they had to take action.
Which is why he was angry. Cinder had told him everything about This Jaune Arc, most were awful things and he knew some of them were lies, which is why he spoke to Roman. Despite what he thought, Roman didn't lie to him, Roman told him the truth, and Adam, for once in his life, found a human, who he respected.
It was odd and angered him, how could he respect someone from the race he was supposed to hate? How could he think that a naive human teen could anger him so much... Because it reminded Adam of his former self.
Jaune was making the same mistakes. Fighting with enemies as if this was a spar when Adam wanted to kill him.
He reminded Adam of what he used to be... And that angered him.
All people ever saw him as a monster, that's one of the reasons why he started wearing a Grimm Mask. If the world wanted a monster, Adam would give them one.
Before they could continue the fight, they heard a few gunshots going off, they looked over to the same direction, only for Jaune to smile as he saw Dr. Oobleck and team BRNZ making their way toward him.
Adam growled, his fight was interrupted by them, however, when he saw Jaune smile he realized that he and Roman were fools to believe that Jaune showed up here alone!
Adam sheathed Wilt and ran to the front of the train while contacting Roman.
"Adam, start the train, we have more visitors," Adam told him
Roman sighed on the other end, [She isn't going to like this...] Roman said
"We have no other choice," Adam said

Nolan stunned one White-Fang grunt with his prod before he quickly turned around and dodged a bullet from another grunt. The grunt took aim at him again, but he was shot off his feet. Nolan smiled, knowing that his partner had his back.
May shot a few White-Fang grunts that were trying to close in on her, however, from behind, a grunt rushed at her, she turned around to see him charging and her, and she had no time to take aim, so she transformed her rifle into its Axe mode, she blocked the grunts attack, pushed him back, and kicked him away hard.
They continued making their way to Jaune, as he was dealing with the White-Fang grunts that surrounded him, though, from the looks of it, he was doing alright.
Jaune used Aura Step to get behind most of these grunts and knocked them out before they could react. Jaune dodged a few attacks from those with blunt or bladed weapons, he made quick work of disarming them and then knocking them out. As Jaune was beginning to figure out, compared to Adam, most of the White-Fang weren't trained to battle Huntsmen,
After knocking out the last two grunts, who were Perry and Deery, the others had met up with Jaune.
"Mr. Arc! Are you alright?" Oobleck asked
"I'm Fine!" Jaune told him, "But we have to stop Roman and Adam, they got that train loaded up with all kinds of weapons and dust!" Jaune cried
"Impossible! The train system has been closed off for years!" Oobleck cried
Just then, they heard the train start and began taking off slowly.
"It's obvious it's going somewhere!" Nolan cried
Jaune opened his scroll to try and let the others know, but it said low signal, "Crap! I can't get any signal!" Jaune cried
Oobleck sighed, "Then it appears it's up to us to stop that train!" Oobleck said "Now Quickly! Onto that train!" Oobleck cried
They all rushed as quickly as they could and hope onto the end of the train. They quickly entered the last boxcar and Oobleck knocked out a guard who we letting Roman and the others know that they had boarded the train, and then quickly got onto the top of the boxcar.
"Alright children! We must get to the front and stop this train!"
Meanwhile, Brawnz and Roy opened the top of the train only to see a device that they didn't recognize.
"Um, Doc?" Brawnz called
"Yes?" Oobleck replied as he turned to Brawnz
"What the hell is that?" Brawnz asked pointing to the device in the opening.
"That my dear boy... appears to be a bomb,"
All of the teens quickly backed away from it.
May looked ahead only to see more grunts coming their way. "White-fang! 12 O'clock!" May cried
They all turned around to see many White-Fang grunts getting up on top of the boxcars.
"Well, I did expect them not to-" Oobleck began but was got off when he heard the Bomb beginning to activate, and he looked at it with a distasteful look, "-Easy on us" Oobleck continued.
They quickly jumped onto the next boxcar, but Jaune went down to the hatch to cut it off before it could explode, however, before he could, he unhatched itself and drifted away. This confused Jaune as he quickly got back up to the top of the boxcar.
"It unhatched itself!" Jaune told Oobleck
Oobleck looked at Jaune before he looked at the boxcar they were just on, as it was farther from the train, it exploded. "That's not good," Oobleck said
"Neither is this!" cried Nolan
Oobleck looked over to Nolan and May only to see another bomb in the boxcar.
"Another one!?" Roy cried
Jaune looked over to Oobleck and Oobleck looked back at him, both quickly figured out what was going on, but needed to make sure, so they quickly ran to the other boxcar.
"No, no, no, no!" Oobleck said
Both of them arrived at the hatch and Jaune opened it only to see another bomb.
Jaune looked away and over to BRNZ, "They all have bombs!" Jaune told them
BRNZ was stunned but was quickly taken out of it when the bomb on the boxcar activated. BRNZ quickly rushed to the other boxcar just as it unlatched itself from the train.
Jaune watched as the boxcar rolled away and looked to Oobleck, "This doesn't make sense! What the hell are those two planning!?" Jaune asked
However, they didn't speak as the White-Fang grunts closed in on them. Jaune Unsheathed Crocea Mors and put as much Aura as he could into it and then unleashed a large and much more powerful Arcus Mortis, pushing some back and cutting them deep in the process. Meanwhile, May took aim and shot a few of the grunts off the top, as Nolan jumped over to the Boxcar and blocked a punch before stunning him with his prod, he then stunned another one before pushing the grunt into another one, knocking them both off the boxcar.
Oobleck turned around just as he heard the explosion and saw the top of the tunnel open up to the surface as well as the sides. falling down from the hole and emerging out from the sides... were Grimm. King Taijitu, Death Stalkers, Boarbatusks, Creeps, and Ursai.
Oobleck's eyes widened with horror, "Oh Dear..." He said, Oobleck then turned to look over at his students, "He's leading Grimm to the city!" Oobleck cried
Jaune's eyes widen, 'Damn it! If they get to the city with all these Grimm, Vale will be breached!' Jaune thought, he turned around and looked at Team BRNZ, "Guys with me! To the Front!" Jaune said
"What are we going to do?" May asked
"We're going to stop this train!" Jaune said
They all rushed to the front as more boxcars detached and exploded. However, on the other side, some grunts were activating a few mechs. The Mechs jumped onto the top of the Boxcars, and Oobleck and Jaune saw the Mechs, Jaune was about to attack it but Oobleck stopped him.
"You go on Mr. Arc, I will deal with them," Oobleck said
Jaune looked a little worried for his professor but Oobleck gave him a smile.
"Don't worry, Mr. Arc, I'll be fine," Oobleck said
Jaune nodded and went down with the others. Meanwhile, Oobleck took a quick drink from his thermos and looked at the Mechs that were in front of him.
"Surrender Human!" Said one of the Mechs.
Oobleck wiped his mouth, activated his flamethrower, and looked at the Mech's eyes remaining obscured by his glasses as he adjusted him, "Allow me to introduce myself, I am Doctor Bartholomew Theodor Oobleck, I am the History teacher at Beacon Academy, and a pro-Huntsmen, However..." Oobleck Began "You may be too young to remember this but I was once known as "The Green Inferno," Does that name ring a bell?" Oobleck asked
"The Green Inferno?" Asked one Mech "Never heard of anything like that!
Oobleck took his staff and the flames roared to life, finally, his eyes were not obscured by his glasses and his deep green eyes glared at the Mechs, "Then allow me to educate you..." Oobleck said
Back in the main boxcars, Jaune and BRNZ made their way to Roman and Adam, however, standing in their way was Bane-Saw, Adam's right-hand man.
Nolan stepped forth and charged at the large man, "Go on ahead! He's mine!" Nolan cried
The others ran behind him, as he attacked Bane-Saw The others managed to make it to the other car, and Nolan up his voltage to 200 and struck Bane-Saw, however, what surprised Nolan was that he was unfazed by it. Bane-Saw swung his Chainsaw at Nolan but Nolan flipped backward and was able to dodge his attack.
"How the hell?" Nolan muttered to himself
Bane-Saw popped his shoulders and neck and prepared to continue the fight, "Electricity won't work on me," Bane-Saw said as he revved up his Chainsaw.
Nolan glared, as he now knew that this wasn't going to be an easy fight.
Back with the others as they continued to make their way through the train, they entered another one only to be confronted by a Bat-Winged Man and a girl with silver hair and grey hands and veins in her arms. These two were Yuma and Trifa.
"Sorry, but we can't let you go any farther," said Trifa
Before another word could be said, Brawnz and Roy charged at the two. Yuma blocked Roy's Saw-Blades with his knives and Trifa tangled Brawnz's fist with her webs.
Jaune and May quickly ran to the next car as Brawnz and Roy backed up and prepared to fight.
"This isn't going to be easy, fighting two-on-two in such an enclosed space," Roy said
Brawnz nodded, but sighed, "Yeah, but we're gonna have to work around it," Brawnz said
May and Jaune continued making their way to the but before they could, Jaune was hit by an invisible force and sent back.
"Jaune!" May cried
May looked around only to be hit back as well, Jaune and May quickly got up and looked around, and Jaune quickly stepped in front of May and blocked an attack and seemingly strike at the air, but then they saw the Aura glow, it was a dark pink.
Suddenly, a figure appear, she was a tan girl with what appeared to be freckles, she had brown hair in a long ponytail. This was Ilia Amitola.
Ilia looked at Jaune with a confused look, "How did you know where I was?" Ilia asked him
"Aura Sight," Jaune told her, "Even if you're invisible, I can see your Aura," Jaune said with a smirk
Ilia didn't make an expression but She tried to attack Jaune again, but she was shot at, which pushed her back. May looked at Ilia with a glare and she looked at Jaune, "Go! I got her!" May said
"you sure?" Jaune asked,
"We need to stop this train right? Both of us can't fight her while Torchwick and Taurus are still driving this train!" May said "So go!" May said
Jaune nodded
"you're not going any-" Ilia began, but Jaune vanished right before her eyes and then reappeared at the door, "-where!?" Ilia cried with a shocked expression.
Ilia tried to stop him but was shit in the back, Ilia turned around with a glare and looked at May. May looked at her with a bit of a smirk, as she turned her rifle into its Axe form.
"Don't forget about me," May said
Ilia glared at her and readied her weapon.
Jaune made it into the car where the controls were, however, the door to the control room was blocked, by Roman.
Roman twirled his cane as he looked at Jaune with a smile, "Hey, blondie, miss me?" Roman asked
Jaune smirked and shrugged, "Eh, maybe like 5%," Jaune told him
"Ouch! Really breaking my heart here Kid," Roman told Jaune, still smiling.
"What are you planning, Roman?" Jaune asked, "Why are you and Adam working together?"
Roman sighed, "Let's just say he and I have something in common," Roman said
Jaune began to think about what they might have in common but nothing popped into his head. Roman took this opportunity to fire at Jaune, but Jaune quickly dodged it and appeared right in front of Roman, Jaune went for an attack but Roman blocked his attack with his cane, Roman pushed him back and fired two shots at Jaune, but Jaune dodged the attacks and he pushed as much aura as he can into Crocea Mors before he unleashed an Arcus Mortis.
Roman's eyes widened and jumped to his side to avoid his attack, But Jaune rushed in and began attacking Roman, the two began trading blows, with no one hitting the other.
Jaune and Roman then blade-locked and Roman looked at him and Jaune looked back at him. but smiled, which made Roman confused. That was until he saw Jaune's sword glow and his eyes widened, realizing what the blonde teen was doing.
'He's going to unleash that attack of his close-range!?' Roman thought
Jaune unleashed another Arcus Mortis at close-range, and this time, instead of blowing them both away, it only blew Roman away and slammed him against the door, and in the process unarmed him.
Adam slowly began getting up but Jaune slammed his foot into Roman's chest and pointed his sword at Roman.
"It's over Roman," Jaune said
Roman looked up at Jaune and sighed, knowing that he was beaten, and not wanting to risk anything, Roman surrendered. However, the intercom came on, and Adam spoke through it.
[Roman! Were approaching the gate! Brace yourself!] Adam cried over the intercom.
Roman and Jaune's eyes widened as they knew what was about to happen. However, before they could react, they felt the harsh impact of the train crashing into the gate that closed off the tunnels...

Jaune slowly got out of the car and looked around, as he did, he coughed harshly and looked around. When he did, he saw buildings, and then he saw the people looking back at him. Seeing the civilians, Jaune realized that he was above ground. In Vale City.
Jaune's eyes widened with horror as he realized what happened, he quickly looked back to the hole and his horror rose. He looked back to the civilians that were looking at him and the destroyed train. "Everyone! Get out of he-"
However, before he could finish, the ground rumbled, and shooting out from the hole, was a King Taijitu. It looked around and saw the civilians looking at it in fear... and it began to feel hungry.
Jaune watched as people began to run away as more Grimm crawled out of the hole and overrun the city. Jaune watched in horror as the city was overrun. Jaune quickly regained himself and picked Crocea Mors up from the ground and ran to save as many civilians as he could.
However, something deep inside of Jaune's soul was becoming hungry as it felt all the fear around Jaune...
