AndrewEMack: I am sorry to say that it will just follow the path of Jaune as Team RWBY and (J)NPR will not be in beacon but will make an appearance later in the story, (Ruby, Yang, and Blake have already made an appearance.
Reader: Trust me, Jaune's not strong enough yet to stop a train like spider-man, also Adam being like Kenpatchi is only one of his traits, as he admits he loves to fight, but that's not the only thing that defines him.
Queztlecoatl: You are right bout the overuse of "attack" in the fight and I will try not to use it too much in later fights, but I am glad you liked the chapter!

X3runner: Yeah, as I said, In a way, Adam now has respect for Jaune in a sense, seeing that he is a strong and worthy opponent, but still has a hatred for him as Jaune isn't honest with his love for fighting, and because he is Human, but Adam hates him mostly because he is what Adam use to be.

Dredgon: Jaune will be a Grimm Hybrid but not like Salem, Cinder, Or The Hound. Jaune will have some powers related to the Wyvern (some that I've made up as well). Since you didn't read the notes, Yes, Favnear is based on Fafnir, and yes Favnear does have Fafnir's Greed, but Favnear's Greed is not the evil Greed.
Xerzo LotCN: Most of what you said will be answered later down the line in the story but as for Adam playing mind tricks with Jaune, I thought that it was a pretty good way to show that even Jaune, despite how firmly he believes in his ideals, can doubt or question them, like how we can some times question our own ideas or beliefs.

Jaune rushed to help as many people as he could. Jaune used Aura Step to appear in front of a group of people who were about to be attacked by a King Taijitu, Jaune unleashed an Arcus Mortis on the Snake Grimm, cutting its head clean off. Jaune made sure the group of people were clear to move and told them to go, which they did.
Jaune turned back to the Grimm that were invading the City and prepared for what he could only assume was the biggest fight of his life. Jaune appeared in front of a whole pack of Beowulfs only to unleash a 2nd Arcus Mortis on the pack, killing most of them, the rest of the charged at Jaune and the blonde knight, dodged a claw attack from one, and then quickly stabbed the Beowulf through its jaw, and then narrowly avoided another attack from another Beowulf. The Beowulf went for another strike but Jaune blocked it with his shield and then stabbed the Grimm in its chest.
The rest of the Beowulfs charged at him, and Jaune prepared to fight them off, only for a fireball to hit them and kill them in a single blow.
Jaune looked up only to see a Bullhead carrying Arslan and the rest of her team. Seeing them, Jaune smiled as they jumped down from the Bullhead and landed in the city, and they stood tall and Arslan looked over to Jaune with a smirk on her face.
"Need some help?" She asked
Jaune smiled, "Like you wouldn't believe!" he said
Arslan nodded and she and her team got to killing the Grimm in the city.
Reese rode her hoverboard around a few Grimm before she black flipped and her board transformed into her pistols, when she landed, she caught them and began unleashing a fury of bullets on the Grimm. Reese then heard a growl and turned around and kicked an Ursa right in its jaw, causing it to stagger backward before she shot a few rounds right in its face, killing the beast.
Nadir saw a few Creeps running at him and he took aim and shot a few fire rounds at them, exploding and killing them on impact, he then quickly turned around only to see a Deathstalker coming his way, and he switched the mode of his gun and shot ice rounds at the ground in front of it, causing the large Grimm to slip and slide to him, he quickly changed the mode of his gun and shot a gravity round right in its mouth, causing the beast to shoot backward a crash into a building.
Bolin was surrounded by a few Borbusk and they rolled at him only for him to easily dodge them, another one rolled at him but he used his staff to fling it up in the air and when it was falling back down, he hit the balled up Borbusk in midair and sent it flying at an Ursa Major, knocking it over as if it was bowling pin. Another charged at him and he quickly waited till it closed in, when it was close enough, he hit the Grimm square in the head with his staff, and suddenly, the Grimm began to swell up, and then explode.
Arslan threw her rope dart at a fleeing Beowulf and the dagger stabbed the Grimm in the shoulder and hook it.
"Get over here!" Arslan cried as she pulled on the rope with all her might.
This caused Grimm to be pulled back toward Arslan and she quickly used her semblance in one hand, so that when Beowulf was close enough, she could it with a fireball. And when the Grimm was in range, she threw a fireball right at the Grimm's back, causing an explosion and killing the Grimm.
Suddenly, large black feathers shot down from the sky and the group tried to dodge them and looked up to see four or five large Nevermores.
"Crap!" Nadir cried "How are we gonna deal with them!?" he asked
Jaune unleashed an Arcus Mortis upward toward the flock of Grimm, but they managed to narrowly dodge the attack.
"Oh come on!" Jaune cried
Suddenly a Bullhead flew overhead just across from the Nevermores and the side opened to reveal Team CFVY. Coco held Gianduja and unleashed a hell storm of bullets at the large Grimm, hitting and killing the flock of Nevermore.
"Hell yeah Coco!" Reese cheered
Suddenly the group heard a sound coming from the hole and looked to the breach's opening and saw a Mech coming out from the ground, and it stood tall and faced the students. They were prepared to unleash their attacks on the Mech, but before they could, a spear lodged into the Mech and electrocuted it, causing it to shut down and fall to the ground with a loud boom.
Jaune and the others turned around and looked to see Neptune and Sun standing behind them. Neptune held out his hand his spear returned to his hand, and they smiled at the group.
"Junior detectives are on the scene!" Sun cried, pulling out a badge
"We have the badges so you know it's official!" Neptune said with pride
"Man am I glad to see you guys!" Jaune said with a smile,
"Don't be glad just yet, we still got more Grimm coming out of that hole!" Neptune said
They all turned back to the hole and saw more Grimm crawling out and attacking the city.
"Then let's do what we've been trained for!" Jaune said as he ran to face the Grimm.
The others all agreed and followed him to fight off the rest of the Grimm and protect the city. Jaune saw a Deathstalker and he powered up and Arcus Mortis before releasing it in a downward strike, cutting the large scorpion Grimm down the middle.
Sun dodged a few attacks from a pair of Beowulfs before he used his staff to hit them so fast that it almost looked invisible to the naked eye, and finally, after forcing the pair to back up, she undid his staff and shot the two Beowulfs in the chest, sending them flying and then crashing back into the ground.
Arslan jumped over an Ursa and then quickly threw her rope dart at its legs, stabbing into one of the Grimms legs, and she pulled on the rope, tripping the Ursa, and she then jumped at the Ursa on the ground and then pushed her Aura into her fist, she reeled it back, preparing for a devastating attack, and when she landed, she slammed her fist into the Ursa's gut, causing the ground beneath the bear Grimm to crack, and the Grimm went limp.
Jaune was now faced to face with an Alpha Beowulf, however, a pair of saw blades cut off its head, and Jaune was surprised, but when the body of the Alpha fell Jaune saw Roy standing in front of him, and then the rest of his team emerge from the hole, along with Dr. Oobleck.
Jaune was thankful that they had made it through the crash and smiled, "Guys! Doctor! You made it!" he cried with Joy
"Hell yeah!" Brawnz said "Now let us get in on some of this action!" she said
Jaune nodded and let the group fight as he continued to slay the Grimm. However, from his side, he noticed a red crescent-shaped attack coming his way, Jaune quickly raised his shield and blocked the attack successfully, but the force pushed him back and sent him flying. He crashed into the side of the building and slowly, he got up and looked up only to see none other than Adam Taurus making his way toward him.
Jaune glared at him, "Adam," Jaune growled
"Arc," Adam said as he sheathed his blade
"You made it out of the crash alive?" Jaune asked
"Sadly for you, yes," Adam said "Now, I would like to pick up where we left off," He told the blonde knight.
"With pleasure," Jaune said
Jaune unleashed an Arcus Mortis at Adam, but the Bull Faunus unsheathed half of his blade and used it to absorb it. Adam charged at Jaune and swung his blade at him, but Jaune blocked it with his shield and then went to try and stab Adam, but Adam side-stepped his attack and then swung at Jaune again, this time at a downward angle. Jaune used Crocea Mors to block the attack, but Adam used that to his advantage and kicked Jaune in the gut, sending the teen stumbling back, and Adam quickly swing at Jaune yet again, but thankfully, Jaune saw him coming in for another attack, and bent back a little, and narrowly avoided the blade. The tip of Adam's blade was only a mere few inches from his face.
Jaune then disappeared and reappeared right next to Adam and bashed him with his shield, causing the Faunus to stagger to his side, and Jaune quickly went in for another attack, but Adam ducked under the swing of Crocea Mors and then swiped his feet across the ground, tripping Jaune onto his back. Jaune looked up only to see Adam swinging down at him, so Jaune quickly used his shield and blocked the attack, and Adam pulled back to swing down at Jaune again, but Jaune rolled over to his side just in the nick of time as Adam's blade struck the pavement. Jaune quickly got up and then he unleashed another Arcus Mortis in an upward swing. This time, Adam didn't see it coming and was hit by the attack, sending him back, and crashing into the ground. But the Bull Faunus quickly got up and stood his ground once more.
Jaune wasn't going to let up, and he quickly unleashed an Arcus Mortis at Adam, but as soon as the attack was sent toward the Faunus, Jaune swung and unleashed another.
Adam saw two attacks coming and he sheathed half of his blade and prepared to absorb the attacks. As soon as the first Arcus Mortis hit his blade, he felt the impact but stood his ground as he began to absorb it, however, the second Arcus Mortis also stuck his blade, and this time, the impact of the attack doubled and while he tried to stand his ground, the power of the two attacks was too much and they sent him back, his feet skidding across the ground.
He grunted as he felt the impact and could feel his arms almost giving out, but thankfully, he finished absorbing the two attacks and let out a heavy breath of air.
'Those two attacks of his were really something... I better watch out in case he does that again,' Adam told himself, he then felt his own aura and realized that he could now unleash his most powerful attack and he smirked.
Jaune saw Adam smirk and felt a wave of uneasiness inside of him, as he then saw Adam sheath his blade and take a stance that looked as if Adam was preparing to unsheath his blade rather quickly. The red on Adam's clothing, as well as his hair, began to glow red and the rest of Adam almost seemed to become pitch black, like a shadow.
Adam smirked as he prepared to unleash his attack, "Chi no Mikazuki" Adam stated.
And in a split second, without even a sound, Adam was behind Jaune, his blade now unsheathed and up in the air as if he had just swung his blade. Adam then stood straight and lowered his blade and slowly sheathed it, and when the blade was finally fully in the sheath, the bottom part of Jaune's armor fell to the ground and Jaune stumbled forward a little but he turned around and smirked at Adam.
"You almost got me with that one," Jaune told him
Adam turned around only to see Jaune was still standing and Adam would admit that he was more shocked than he had ever been. Adam looked at Jaune's chest only to see that he had indeed cut the lower half of his chest blad off, and while there was a cut, it didn't bleed as profusely as it should have.
"How did survive that?" Adam asked
Jaune just chuckled, "It was a gamble," Jaune said "I even managed to figure out your semblance as well," Jaune said
"Have you now?" Adam asked
"You convert energy from any damage or attack inflicted onto your blade, you can convert that energy into stronger attacks, but that's not all, you can convert that energy into stamina and strength, but there's a major flaw to it," Jaune began
"Which is?" Adam asked, truly wondering if Jaune had figured out his semblance as well as his weakness so fast.
Jaune smirked, "Without your sword, you can't convert energy, meaning that any damage you take will be serious and possibly even deadly," Jaune said
"You are smart, you managed to figure it out, however, that still doesn't explain how you were able to survive one of my most powerful attacks," Adam said
"Well, when I figured out your semblance, I also realized that with enough power, you can cut through Aura and inflict damage to the body, so once I figured that out, I centered as much our as I could to my chest and hoped for the best, my chest plate is broken and I was cut, but thankfully not badly, so all-in-all, everything went ok," Jaune said with a smile
Adam smirked, "Truly, you are quite the foe," Adam said "You figured out my Semblance and its weakness rather quickly and even managed to survive "Chi no Mikazuki", my quick draw attack, not only that you have a similar attack to my "Carga de Toro", Your "Arcus Mortis" correct?"
Jaune nodded
Adam kept smiling and nodded, "We are similar yet so different... it was as if it was fate that we met today," Adam told him
"Maybe, but I'm not much a believer in fate or anything like that," Jaune said
Adam just nodded, "Neither am I," Adam replied
Suddenly, Adam turned around and behind him, he saw Sun appear and was going in for an attack with his staff. When Adam turned to him Sun was surprised, but he still went in for his attack, but Adam dodged the swing of his staff and backed up. He then looked up only to see a fireball shooting down at him. Adam unsheathed his sword and unleashed that red crescent attack, or his "Carga de Toro", at the fireball, causing an explosion above him. Adam then quickly moved out of the way just as Arslan landed, her fist hitting the ground and destroying the pavement underneath her.
Arslan stood up and she was joined by Jaune to her right and Sun to her left.
"Guess that's my cue to go," Adam said
He then took out two dust crystals, one fire, and the other water. He then threw them up in the air and cut them, causing a burst of fire and water, creating a vale of mist in between him and the three. When the mist cleared, the three looked around for the Bull Faunus, but it was too late, Adam Taurus had escaped.
"Damn it, he got away," Sun said
"Don't worry about it Sun," Jaune told his friend, "I have a feeling that we haven't seen the last of him,"
Arslan nodded in agreement, "Now, with the breach taken care of, we can take care of another problem," Arslan said
Back at the hole, Roman slowly emerged from the wreckage but as soon as his head peeked outside, his face was met with the tip of a sword and his eyes widened with worry, so Roman slowly looked up to see Jaune, Sun, and Arslan looking down at him. Knowing that there was no way out of this situation, he let out a heavy sigh and raised his arms up in surrender.
"Is it too late to switch sides?" Roman asked with a smirk

Ozpin was in his office and that's when he heard the elevator ding and he looked to see Ironwood enter his office. "How is Vale?" Ozpin asked
"Safe," Ironwood said "Thanks to Mr. Arc and the rest of his friends, we captured Roman Torchwick and managed to get the hole sealed thanks to Glynda, I also have some men down in the tunnels working on blocking off the tracks again," Ironwood said
"Good news indeed," Ozpin said, "What about our situation at the CCT tower? Did you find anything?" Ozpin asked
Ironwood sighed, "We didn't," Ironwood told Ozpin, "despite everything, all the scans and even having my best men look at it, there was no virus found in the CCT tower's network," Ironwood said
Ozpin sighed, "There has to be something," Ozpin said "Why else would someone break in there?" he asked
"I thought the same thing, which is why I'm having my top men keep an eye out for any foreign code in the networks system," Ironwood told him
Ozpin let out a sigh of relief, "That's good at least, hopefully, they can be caught red-handed should they use a virus," he told James
"Ozpin, there's something else that you should know," Ironwood said
"Which is what?" Ozpin asked
"The Vale council reached out to Atlas and asked for help due to what happened earlier today... I've been appointed head of security," Ironwood said
"I see..." Ozpin said "Well, that is to be expected, what with the reports you've been sending them over the last few days about how I've been "handling" things here at Beacon," Ozpin said
Ironwood was surprised, "You knew about the reports?" Ironwood asked
Ozpin took a sip of his coffee and nodded, "Of course I did James," Ozpin replied "I've been playing this game far longer than you have, you really thought I didn't know you were going behind my back and trying to take hold of the reigns?" Ozpin said
"Ozpin... this is the right move," Ironwood said
"No, it isn't," Ozpin said
Ironwood sighed, "Fine, be that way, but know that I'm also going to be pushing back the festival in order to prepare and help rebuild the City," Ironwood told him
"How long?" Ozpin asked
"Four Months," Ironwood said
Ozpin sighed, "Very well then, do as you please, you are the head of security after all," Ozpin said "But James... do not forget who runs my school," Ozpin said sternly
Ironwood did not reply and turned away from Ozpin and left his office, Ozpin watched him leave before he turned around in his chair and looked out to the evening sky. He had no idea what was in store for the future, but he at least hoped that the four months would give him time to come up with some sort of plan to fix Ironwood's mistake.
'I pray that nothing else happens that could put our school in danger...' Ozpin thought to himself 'The students aren't ready... Mr. Arc isn't ready... please let this be enough time...'

3 days later:
In the southern region of Anima, Raven Branwen, leader of the Branwen Tribe, looked over at a small camp. She was not alone, of course, her entire tribe was with her and they surrounded the small camp, which only had a small campfire and a single tent.
A male member of her tribe, a man known as Shay, walked over to Raven. "Boss, you mind telling me why we're surrounding a small camp with all our forces?" He asked
"Because the person in the camp is no ordinary person," came a female voice. A young teen named Vernal, Raven's right hand, looked over to Shay, "We're here to back raven up in case things go south,"
"Ok... but who is this person?" Shay asked
"Shut up," Raven said
Raven watched the campsite and she saw the tent open up and a woman, who appeared to be in her late 50s, walked out and looked right in Raven's direction. She was wearing a black turtle neck jacket, a pair of black dress pants, and a pair of black boots, and wrapped around her was a torn black cloak. She had light blond and grey hair and a pair of bear ears atop her head.
Raven walked out of the forest and walked over to the Woman, and when she was only a few feet away from the woman, Raven took off her mask and looked at the old woman with an emotionless expression.
"Raven, a pleasure to see you again," said the woman with a smile
Raven didn't reply.
"I hope you haven't come looking for a fight, I haven't been sleeping right since I got here so I've been a little... cranky," The woman told Raven with a bit of a cold tone
"You once told me that there would be someone who would surpass you, that he would one day go to Beacon and come to surpass you..." Raven began, she then took out a newspaper from her back and handed it to the woman, who took it. "You failed to mention that the person you spoke of would be your grandson," Raven said
The woman looked to the front page and she read the headline.
"Beacon's only 1st year, Jaune Arc captures Roman Torchwick and saves Vale City!" - By Lisa Lavander
Seeing this, the woman's smile grew and she felt a great deal of pride seeing a picture of her grandson escorting Roman Torchwick to Atlas Soldiers.
"That's my boy," She said proudly.
While Raven Branwen was an s-Class ranked Huntsmen and her name was feared in Anima, Raven was nothing compared to the woman standing before her.
The woman standing in front of Raven was a legend that every kingdom feared, one that no one dared try to fight.
The woman standing before Raven Branwen was Elizabeth Jenette Arc... Also known as the famous Faunus War General and War hero, "Black Betty". One of the only 8 people in the world who is a Headmaster Ranked Huntress.
"I just wanted to inform you about your Grandson, good day, Betty,"
"Ahahah~! Where do you think your going young lady?" Betty asked
Raven turned around only to see Betty pulling out a Cutlass from underneath her cloak. The blade was red, similar to Raven's own blade. This was because they were made out of the same metal, though, Betty's was more legendary. Her sword was one of the first high-frequency blades ever created, the sword's name was Gramandel.
"You've brought my spirits up, Raven," Betty said with a smile, "I feel like celebrating my grandson's achievement with a light spar,"
Raven looked at the woman and put her Grimm mask back on before unsheathing her own red blade. "Vernal... get everyone out of here now, the last thing I want this woman to destroy the tribe,"
"Yes Raven," Vernal said
Vernal ordered the tribe to retreat and also left the area. Betty and Raven stared down the other, ready for the fight that was about to occur. the wind blew and a single leaf from a nearby tree slowly fell to the ground.
"This really brings me back, to when I used to whip your team as well as my son's into shape during combat classes," Betty said with a smirk.
The leaf was still far from the ground but nearly there.
Raven held her blade in front of her with both hands and then took a ko gasumi stance. "Those were good days," Raven said with a sort of fond tone in her voice.
The leaf was inching closer to the ground.
Betty and Raven stared at each other, not saying another word.
Finally, The leaf touched the ground.
The two charged and clashed swords...

Oh Boy looks like we got some interesting things in the future! What will happen now that Cinder's Virus has been mostly removed? Will Jaune and Adam be their final opponents? What will Happen between Betty and Raven!?
A little Info about Jaunes Grandma:
1. Elizabeth/Betty Arc is based on Gol D. Roger from One Piece but is also based on Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto from Bleach/ 2. Her name is related to Elizabeth the Great, and her nickname is a reference to the Song "Black Betty"/ 3. Her sword is a combination of the two legendary swords Durandal and Gramr (fun fact: Gramr is the sword that killed Fafnir)/ 4. As stated, she is one of the only 8 people in all of Remnant that is a Headmaster Ranked Huntsmen.
(also I realized I said Qrow in the last chapter was going to meet Betty, that was my mistake, I meant to say Raven)
Anyway! This chapter ends the Volume 2 Arc! In Chapter 21, we begin the Grimm Eclipse Arc!
