The Problem With Paras
Ash and friends has arrive at Mossgreen Village. It's a quaint cute place but it's so small it doesn't even own its own Pokémon Gym.
Everyone was looking at the town from the forest.
"There's no use stopping here." Ash said.
"I wouldn't say that, Ash." Seth said.
Ash turns around and sees Brock holding an empty First Aid bag.
"We don't anymore Potion and Antidote in the bag." Slade said.
"Let's take the time to stock up on supplies while we're here." Seth said.
"Sounds good to me." Jovan smiled.
"I'm dying for a cheeseburger." Ash said.
"No way." Misty said. "I want to eat at a nice restaurant."
"Cheeseburgers are nice." Ash argue.
"Are not." Misty argue back.
"Are too."
"Will you two knock it off?!"
Pikachu, Dragonair and Eevee looks at each other and sighs.
"Let's go." Seth said as everyone followed him and Brock.
"Come on, Dragonair." Jovan said.
Pikachu, Eevee and Dragonair follows their friends. They didn't know they were being followed.
Say, what's rustling behind those bushes?
Jessie and James poke their heads from the bushes.
"The brats are heading into town." James said.
"Let's sneak ahead of them." Jessie said.
Jessie and James began crawling for a couple seconds until Jessie stopped.
"Aren't we forgetting something?" Jessie asked.
They turn their heads to see Meowth who was sick, laying against the trunk of a tree. Libby and Sam were standing in front of him as Justin was sitting in front of Meowth. Jessie and James stands up and walks over them.
"Come on, Meowth." Sam said to him "You can take your nap after we've caught Pikachu."
"You want to see me angry." Jessie said. She bends down and felt Meowth's head. "Ow!" she screams.
"He doesn't look too good." Sam said, looking at Meowth.
"I don't feel so great." Meowth groans.
"Well we can't wait around for this." Libby said, beginning to walk away.
"Hold it." Sam said, stepping in front of her. "If we leave Meowth here, he'll collapse from that fever."
"Meowth is a cat and he has eight lives left." Libby said to him.
"You've got a point." Sam said.
Jessie and James grasps their hands.
"This time we're going to catch Pikachu." Jessie said.
"Pikachu for me and you." James said before they were about to walk away.
"Hold it!" a voice shouted.
They turned around and saw a girl sitting next to Meowth with an angry look. She was wearing a short white shirt, red pants and white shoes. She has pink ribbons in her hair and she looks at Meowth with her red eyes, placing her hand on his forehead. "Oh you poor thing, you're hot." she said before looking at Jessie, James, Libby and Sam.
Justin was so busy looking at Meowth, he didn't notice the girl.
"How could you think about abandoning your Pokémon when its overheated like this, you irresponsible trainers?!" she shouted.
The four of them looks at each other.
"Does she really think that we're Meowth's trainers?" Sam asked.
The four of them began laughing except Justin.
"Why are you laughing?!" the girl shouted.
Jessie and James stops laughing and pointed finger at her.
"You must be joking if we're the trainers of that thing." Jessie said.
"Don't you recognize superheroes when you see them?" James asks her.
"You're superheroes?" the girl asks them.
"Sometimes the four of us go undercover." Jessie said, acting serious.
"But our enemies soon discover." James said, acting serious.
"We're the Team Neo Rocket Super Squad." Jessie and James said together.
The girl stands up to them. "You're super losers if you leave a sick Pokémon!" she shouted angrily.
Team Rocket and Team Neo fell onto the ground with their butts.
"Sorry." Libby apologizes nervously.
"Don't worry." she said to Meowth as she sits back down. "I'll make something to cool you down." She began to look through her basket.
Meowth slowly turns his head to look at her. "Meowth..." Meowth said in a weak voice.
Team Rocket and Team Neo watches the girl make a medicine tea.
"Here, drink this." she said bringing a pot to Meowth's lips.
"Thank you." he groans, drinking it.
After drinking the liquid, his fever disappeared.
"His fever is gone." Justin said, amazed. He and the girl stands up and she walks by him.
"It'll be better soon." she said, taking out a pill. "Give it one of these pills after each meal."
"Ok." Libby said as the girl handed the pills to Jessie.
"See you later." the girl smiled and begins to run by them.
Meowth watches her leave, falling in love. "She really cared about me." Meowth said in a dreamy voice, his face turning red.
"Are you ok?" James asked him.
"Is your fever back?" Libby wondered.
"I'm not sick!" Meowth shouted angrily, scratching their faces.
The four of them had scratch marks on their faces.
"He's back to normal." Sam said before they fell backwards on the ground.
Everyone found a small Pokémon Pharmacy.
"Is someone home?" Jovan called as they all walked inside.
It was dark and gloomy. There were several jars of medicine on the cabinets. Jovan can see an old lady with a hood on, grinding something.
"Pardon me." Jovan said.
"We like to buy some Potions and Antidotes please." Anna said.
"Keh heh." the old lady chuckled. "Got some snake roots that cure Insomnia and grow hair on your nose and tongue." The old lady takes out a few yellow roots and showed the kids.
"I don't think we need that." Anna smiles nervously.
"Is any of your products hair free?" Seth asks her.
"Granma." the girl scolded her grandmother as they all turn to look at the girl. "I've asked you before not frighten the customers."
"I didn't mean to scare anyone." Lucy apologizes to her granddaughter.
"I know, but we're here to help trainers with our Miracle Potions, not scare them away." the girl said.
Jovan, Anna and July looks at each other in confusion before looking back at the girl.
"My name is Brock." Brock introduce himself as he stands in front of her. "Are you the owner of this Pokémon Pharmacy?"
"Yes." the girl answered. "With my grandmother. I'm Cassandra."
"I'm interested in Pokémon Potions." Brock said. "If you're not doing anything tonight, we can have dinner and talk about them.
"Are all of you Pokémon Trainers?" Cassandra asks them.
"They are except for me." Slade said.
"Instead of dinner, how about a Pokémon Battle?" Casandra proposed.
"Okay." Ash answers her with a smile, sticking his hand up. "You can battle me."
"And me after." Jovan added.
"That's great." she smiled. "We can battle out back."
Meanwhile Team Rocket and Team Neo were spying on them from a branch.
"To protect the world from devastation." Jessie whispered.
"To untie all people within our nations." James whispered.
Jessie and James were whispering the motto.
"Let's unite the people after this girl comes out." Justin said.
"What girl?" Jessie asked.
"Who?" Sam wondered.
They watch them leave the tent with Casandra following them.
"There she is." Meowth smiled. "It's the nice nice-"
"Hang on, Meowth." Libby said, looking up at them on the branch.
"We're on a mission here." Sam reminded him.
"She captured his heart, you guys." Justin said to his teammates.
The four of them got annoyed by his comment and sighed.
Ash and Pikachu stood across from Cassandra and her Pokémon. It is a orange, insectoid Pokémon that resembles the nymph stage of a cicada. Its ovoid body is segmented, and it has three pairs of legs. The foremost pair of legs is the largest and has sharp claws at the tips. There are five specks on its forehead and three teeth on either side of its mouth. It has circular eyes with large pseudopupils. Red-and-yellow mushrooms known as tochukaso grow on this Pokémon's back.
"This Paras will be your opponent." Cassandra said to Ash.
"Paras?" Ash asked confused as everyone takes out their Poké Dex.
Paras, the Mushroom Pokémon. Rare mushrooms grow on its back.
Pikachu walks up to it as Dragonair slithers besides him.
"Pikachu." Pikachu said, wishing Paras good luck.
"Paras." Paras whimper backing away from Pikachu to Cassandra.
"Paras." she said, kneeling down next to it. "You can't give up already."
"I don't think Paras wants to battle us." Jovan said to her.
Cassandra looks at them. "You're right." she said. "I would love for Paras to evolve into Parasect very soon. Cassandra looks at the Mushroom Pokémon. "But it's too cowardly to battle."
"The best way to evolve Pokémon is winning battles." Brock said, with his arms crossed.
"The more battles Paras will win quicker, it will evolve." Seth added.
"But why do you want Paras to evolve into Parasect?" Anna asks Cassandra.
Cassandra looks at them. "Because I have to have Parasect's mushroom." Cassandra answered.
"Why do you need Parasect's mushroom?" they all asked.
"You see." Cassandra said, rubbing Paras's back. "After Paras evolves into Parasect, I'll use its mushroom to make a new Potion ,especially for Pokémon, and I'll use the new potion to help Pokémon all over the world.
Team Rocket and Team Neo takes a peek from behind the tree. Meowth was moved of what she said as tears were rolling down his face.
"She's too terrific to be human." Meowth smiled. "That's it. I'll give up all nine lives to help Cassandra's dream come true."
"He's going to make a fool out of himself." Jessie said.
"Oh, I understand now." James smiles slyly. "You must think this Cassandra is the cat's Meowth."
Sam snickered as Meowth stares at James and Sam.
"That ain't funny!" Meowth shouted, jumping a step back.
"Don't be shy." James said as they kneel down next to Meowth.
"I know exactly how you feel about her." James smiled.
"You two don't think I'm an idiot?" Meowth asks them.
"You can say Cassandra have ways to treat a feline since she's a girl." Sam said.
"If you ask me, he's unprepared for love." Justin whispered to Jessie.
"Well, cupid's arrows strikes." James said. "Love strikes when you least expect it."
Jessie takes out a paper fan and smacks James, Meowth and Sam unconscious.
"How can we catch Pikachu, you lovebird brains?!" Jessie growled.
Libby and Justin looks at each other.
"At least they weren't expecting that." Justin said to her.
Jovan looks at Dragonair, Aqua and Charmeleon. as Ash was talking to Pikachu. "We're going to let Paras win, everyone." Jovan said.
"Nair." Dragonair nodded and watches Pikachu walks off.
"Good luck Paras." Cassandra wish it luck. "All the Pokémon on earth is counting on you."
"Pa." Paras said nervously, walking towards Pikachu.
The two Pokémon stops and looks at each other.
"Pikachu, electric... I mean..." Ash was about to give an order but he stops himself.
"What's the matter, Ash?" Misty asks him.
Ash turns his head to look over his shoulder. "Electric shock might be overdoing it." he said.
"You have a point." Anna said.
"Para is making its first attack." Seth said.
Everyone looks at Paras.
Paras shakes its mushrooms and an orange powder comes out of them and at Pikachu.
"Pikachu, Thunder Shock!" Ash ordered. "Uh maybe just a tiny static bolt!"
"Chu?" Pikachu asked confused, sending out a tiny bolt.
"Paras!" Paras whimpered as it got hit, rolling around and fainting.
"Oh no." Ash moans.
Team Rocket and Team Neo watches the battle.
"Hey." Meowth said angrily. "That wasn't fair."
"It was humiliating." Libby said.
"How pathetic." Sam said.
Cassandra walks over to Paras and kneels down. "How will Paras ever get experience?" Cassandra wondered.
"This is a tough one." Ash said, scratching his head. "What am I supposed to do now?"
"Look up Para's type." Brock said, making Ash to look at him. "Just choose a weaker opponent."
"Sounds good." July said as everyone takes out their Poké Dex.
Paras has qualities of both Bug and Grass Pokémon.
"Grass type have a huge advantage over Water Pokémon." Misty said.
"Right." Ash smiled. "A Water Type. Squirtle, I choose you!" He throws the Poké Ball and Squirtle appeared.
"Squirtle." Squirtle said.
"That Squirtle is a Water Type." Cassandra smiles, looking at Squirtle then back at Paras. "Maybe you can win Paras."
"Paras?" Paras asked confused.
Ash kneels down behind Squirtle. "Squirtle, use your Water Gun." Ash said. "But just enough to sprinkle the mushrooms a little."
"Squirtle?" he asked confused, looking at Ash before looking at Paras. Squirtle releases a tiny stream of water at Paras.
"Par!" it shouted, rolling on the ground and fainted.
"Paras!" Cassandra gasps, picking it up. "Are you hurt?"
"Paras." Paras responded.
"Please give it one more try." Cassandra said, putting Para down.
"Squirtle." Squirtle said, sweatdropping.
"Squirtle, return." Ash said.
Squirtle transforms into red energy and went back inside the Poké Ball.
"I'm not giving up until Paras evolves into Parasect." Ash said angrily, taking out another Poké Ball. "I choose you, Charmeleon!" He throws the Poké Ball and Charmeleon appeared.
"Your turn Charmelon!" Ash called to him.
Jovan looks at his Charmeleon. "Go easy on Paras when you battle it." Jovan told her.
"Char." Charmeleon growls at him.
"Nair?" Dragonair looks confused.
"I don't think Charmeleon wants to feel like a loser." Seth said to Jovan.
Charmeleon looks his opponent and growls at it.
"Paras?" Paras whimpered.
"It's okay." Cassandra assured Paras.
But Charmeleon was about to release a Flamethrower.
"No, stop, Charmeleon!" Ash commanded, but it was too late.
Charmeleon releases a powerful Flamethrower at Paras. Paras covered in soot.
"Paras." it said, blinking its eyes.
Charmeleon slams his tail into Paras into the air, making everyone gasps. Paras hits the ground on its back, fainted. Para wakes up and runs away crying.
"Paras wait!" Cassandra shouted, running after it.
"Charmeleon, cool it!" Jovan tells his Charmeleon dodging a Flamethrower. But he didn't dodge the second one as his face was covered in soot. "Uncool."
"Meleon." Charmeleon spits out a small fire.
"She's out of control." Seth said.
"Nair!" Dragonair shouted, releasing a Bubblebeam on Charmeleon, making her faint.
"Return." Jovan said.
The two Charmeleon transforms into red energy and went back inside the Poké Ball.
"Are you ok?" July asks her brother.
"Yeah." Jovan answered, getting the soot off his face.
"Oh dear." Cassandra said, worried. "Paras ran away."
"I'm sure Ash didn't mean to beat it." Jovan said to her.
"It's my fault for challenging you to a Pokémon battle." Cassandra said.
"I'm happy that Charmander evolved, but I'm not sure I was ready for him." Ash said.
"Worry about your stupid Charmeleon later." Misty said to Ash.
"We need to look for Cassandra's Paras." Seth said.
"Let's start searching for it now." Ash said.
Paras was still running in the forest with its eyes close. It kept running until it bumps into something. Paras opens its eyes and sees Meowth looking down at it.
"Paras?" Paras asked confused.
"Hm." Moewth said.
Everyone met up back at the Pharmacy.
"Did you find Paras?" she asks them as Slade's friends transform back into their human forms.
"No." Anna answered.
"We didn't find a sign of it anywhere." Brock said.
"I'm really sorry." Ash apologizes. "This is all my fault."
"No, Ash." Cassandra said, shaking her head. "It's not you. Poor Paras doesn't have any confidence in its own abilities."
"So what about this Potion you need?" Seth asks her. "What's it supposed to do?"
Cassandra smiled and kneels down to rub Pikachu's chin. "I'm trying to come up with a Miracle Potion." Cassandra answered. "One that will not only heal a Pokémon's defensive power, but their attack power, determination, concentration as well and make it smarter."
"You're trying to make a Smart Potion?" Ash asks her.
"You can give Ash a taste when it's done." Anna joked.
"Ha ha." Ash laughed sarcastically.
Cassandra stand up. "I want all Pokémon to grow and stay healthy." Cassandra said with a smile. "That's why I need Paras to realize how important it is and to believe in itself."
Somewhere in the forest, Jessie, James, Libby, Sam and Justin looks at Meowth and Paras. Justin was sitting in between Jessie and James as Sam was standing behind Jessie and Libby was standing behind James while Jessie and James were laying on their side on the ground.
"And?" Jessie and James asked.
"And what?" Meowth asked.
"And if we help, what do we all get out of this?" Libby asked.
"If all of you can help Para evolve, then you can be rich beyond your wildest dreams." Meowth smiled. "Cassandra's Miracle Pokémon Potion would be millions or zillions."
"And how do we get rich from her?" Libby wondered.
"She'll make me her company mascot." Meowth smiled.
"I knew you were going to say that." Sam growled.
"And we won't get rich."
"I was planning to make you all business managers." Meowth said, turning around. "Because that would be alot of money to manage." He looks over his shoulder. "If you rather not, I understand."
As Justin's team was thinking about all that money, Justin was in a deep thought.
"With that much money..." Justin thought. He chuckled at the thought when he heard Meowth.
"I'm going to need your Pidgeotto with your team's Pokémon." Meowth said.
"What for?" he asked.
"To lose." Meowth said. "That's their specialty."
"He's got a point." Jessie said, looking at James.
"How did we get stuck with such rejects?" James moaned.
Team Rocket and Team Neo called out Arbok, Weezing, Pidgeotto, Fearow and Kakuna as the five Pokémon looks at Paras.
"Before we begin, Arbok and Weezing will go first before your Pokémon." Meowth said to Team Neo.
Team Neo stood with Team Rocket. As they watch the "fight", Justin looks at Meowth. "Think this plan will work, Meowth?" Justin thought.
After "winning" six "fights", Paras climbs onto a tree. "Paras!" it shouted.
"A few lousy wins later and it thinks its Tarzan." Jessie smiled as they all look up at Para on the branch.
"It got confidence." James said.
"Hey Paras!" Ash called.
"Them again!" Sam exclaims.
"Maybe they can help us to have Paras evolved." Meowth smiled as they ran and hide.
Cassandra and everyone stops running and looks up to see Para in on a branch.
"It's Paras." she smiled.
"I'm glad we found you." Jovan smiled.
Paras jumps down to them.
"I wonder how it got up in the tree." Misty wondered.
"Paras Paras." Paras said with cofindence.
"I've never seen Paras act like this before." Cassandra said.
"What do you think happen, Slade?" Seth asks him.
Paras walks over to Pikachu. "Para Paras." it taunted Pikachu.
"Seems like Paras wants to battle." July said.
"I'm happy you finally understand my dream." Cassandra said
"Excellent." Ash smiled as he bent down next to Pikachu. "Pikachu, it's time to help Paras evolve into Parasect."
"Pikachu." Pikachu nodded.
Peeking behind a tree, Team Rocket and Team Neo watches them.
"My plan is going to work." Meowth smiled.
"And we'll be rich when we win." Libby added.
Ash and Pikachu stood several feet away from Paras and Cassandra.
"Get it, Paras!" Cassandra cheered.
"Remember Pikachu, go easy on it." Ash said.
"Pikachu." Pikachu said, turning around to look at Ash.
Paras walks over to Pikachu and jabs his tail.
"Pika!" Pikachu yelp as he jumps in the air and landed. "Pikachu!" he shouted angrily, preparing to attack.
"Pikachu!" Ash calls to him.
Pikachu turns around and sees Ash with his arms crossed shaking his head. Pikachu sighed and fell backwards, waving a white flag.
"Par?" Paras smiled. "Paras Paras!" It cries out for joy and jumps up and down.
"That's great, Paras wins!" Cassandra smiled.
"Looks like its proud." Anna said.
"If Paras keeps battling like this, it will evolve in no time." Brock said.
Ash takes out a Poké Ball after Pikachu returns to his side. "Charmeleon, one more time!" Ash shouted, throwing the Poké Ball and Charmeleon appeared.
"I'm counting on you, Charmeleon." Ash said to Charmeleon.
"Char." he growls, looking at Ash before spitting out a small flame.
"What's the matter?" Ash wondered as Charmeleon sits down and scratching his face with his foot. "Charmander was totally obedient."
"My turn then." Jovan said, taking out a Poké Ball. "Charmeleon!" He throws the Poké Ball and his Charmeleon appeared. "You're up."
His Charmeleon yawned and sits down on the ground.
"Heh." Lucy chuckled, walking up to them as they turn around to look at her. "The two of you need experience. If you two boys are poor, they will not follow your commands and orders."
"Call it back, we quit!" Cassandra shouts to Ash. "Charmeleon is too strong!"
Ash turns around. "Charmeleon, return!" Ash commanded.
Both Charmeleon fires a Flamethrower at the two boys. Their faces were covered in a black soot.
"You see?" Lucy pointed out.
"They won't obey them." Misty said.
Ash's Charmeleon looks at Paras and fired a few Flamethrowers.
"Paras!" Paras cried as it was startled while avoiding getting burned.
"Knock it off, Charmeleon!" Ash ordered him.
"Please stop!" Cassandra pleaded.
While watching the battle, Meowth couldn't stand it. "I got to do something to help Paras." Meowth growled.
"He's right." Sam said.
"Our money depends on it." Libby said as they prepared to move.
They quickly changed clothes and up Paras's side. Team Rocket and Team Neo were wearing black clothes as James was holding a flag.
"Paras, you can beat it." Meowth encourages it.
"What are you all doing here?" Cassandra asks them.
"It's Team Rocket and Team Neo." Jovan said.
"We are the official Pokémon Pep Squad." Meowth announced. "Here to cheer on our hero."
"Go Paras, go Paras!" Jessie, James, Libby, Sam and Justin cheered. They all knelt down to look at Paras.
"Don't forget your training you went through." Libby said.
"You can never lose." Sam added.
"You're the winner." Meowth said.
"They really helped train Paras?" Cassandra mutered.
"Let's give a cheer for the great ace Paras!" Meowth smiled.
"This... is odd." Jovan said as they all watch Team Rocket and Team Neo cheering.
Team Rocket and Team Neo stops cheering as they all saw Charmeleon.
"Char!" Charmeleon shouted, firing a Flamethrower at them.
Team Rocket and Team Neo was covered in soot from head to toe.
"Paras." Paras sweat drop. The Tiny Mushroom Pokémon sees Charmeleon walking toward it, making Paras run away. Paras keeps running until it bumps into a tree and rolls backward. It gets back on its feet and screams as it sees Charmeleon ready to attack one more time.
"Ah!" Cassandra gasps.
"Don't do it!" Ash shouted.
As Charmeleon was about to attack, Paras screams, jabbing the Flame Pokémon in the stomach.
"Char!" Charmeleon gasps and fell backward near Team Rocket and Team Neo.
"Paras?" Paras looked confused before Paras started glowing in a white light.
Everyone gasps. They all watch in amazement.
The light stops glowing and a new Pokémon appeared. It is an orange, insectoid Pokémon that has been completely overtaken by the parasitic mushroom on its back. It has a small head with pure white eyes and a segmented body that is mostly hidden by the mushroom. It has three pairs of legs with the foremost pair forming large pincers. The fungus growing on its back has a large red cap with yellow spots throughout.
"Parasect." it said.
"Ah!" Cassandra smiled.
"Amazing!" Misty smiled.
"Paras evolved!" Seth exclaims.
They all took out their Poké Dex.
"Parasect, the Mushroom Pokémon. It battles using poison spheres that spread from the mushroom canopy on its back."
"Congratulations, Parasect." Jovan said to it.
"I never doubted you." Cassandra smiled as she walks up to it, kneels down and hugs Parasect. "Great job, Parasect."
Team Rocket and Team Neo stands up with smiles on their faces.
"Sweet!" Libby cheered.
"Let me get a ticket for that train." Sam joked.
"Ha ha." Meowth chuckled.
They all notice Charmeleon looking at them with an angry look.
"Charmeleon!" Chameleon growled, slapping his tail at them to be sent flying in the air.
"Looks like Team Rocket is blasting off again!"
Charmeleon looks at Parasect.
"Parasect, stay back!" Cassandra shouted, getting in front of her Pokémon, spreading her arms out.
Parasect walks by her and stops. "Parasect!" Parasect shouted, shooting a yellow powder from the hole under its mushroom at Charmeleon.
"Char?" Charmeleon looks confused as it was hit by the powder. It was getting sleepy all of a sudden.
"What's that?" Ash wondered.
"It's Parasect's special attack, Spore." Brock said.
Charmeleon laid on the grass sleeping.
"Interesting." Jovan said.
"If Parasect's Spore attack that effective, it'll definitely be a powerful potion." Brock said.
"Charmeleon, return." Ash said.
Charmeleon transforms into red energy and went back inside the Poké Ball. Jovan's Charmeleon was going to attack Parasect, but she was put to sleep as well, letting Jovan to return her to the Poké Ball.
"Looks like you have to evolve into a better trainer, Ash." Misty said to him.
"I'll be fine." Ash said, looking over his shoulder.
"Pika Pika." Pikachu muttered.
Anna looks over at Jovan. "Looks like you need more experience too." She said.
"I know." Jovan said.
"Thanks, Parasect, for helping me." Cassandra said, petting Parasect before hugging it. "I knew I could be able to count on you. Now it's my turn to help. I'm going make my Miracle Potion to help Pokémon around the world."
They were all back at the pharmacy outside.
"I'm sorry we caused so much trouble for you all." Cassandra apologizes to them.
"Well, losing on purpose was the toughest thing we've ever done." Ash smiled. "Right Pikachu?"
"Pikachu." Pikachu agreed.
"You two will keep losing at that skill level." Lucy said.
"You promised to be nice, grandma." Cassandra scolded her.
"Let us know when you finished your potion." Misty said.

"Bye"! Jovan calls back waving at them. "Good luck!"
And just as Ash and his friends are saying goodbye, guess who's dropping in.
Team Rocket and Team Neo landed behind them.
"Huh?" Cassandra asked confused as she walks over to them.
"He definitely is a lucky Pokémon." Justin said.
They were all inside as they were bandage up. Meowth was enjoying the time of his life as Cassandra was tying a bandage.
"We did good." Libby said.
"Agreed." Sam agreed.
"She's falling for it." Jessie whispered.
"We'll be rich." James smiled.
"Now that fates has thrown us together to help the Pokémon of the world, I guess it's only natural to make me your company mascot." Meowth smiled.
"Never!" Cassandra shouted angrily at him, causing Meowth to stop smiling.
"I'd never care you away from Team Rocket and Team Neo!" she snaps at Meowth before looking at his team. "You're a superhero team, aren't you?"
"Well, we are super." Jessie smiled nervously.
"Plus we're a team." Sam added.
Cassandra looks back at Meowth. "It was super heroic to help out Paras like that." she smiled.
"Then why-" Meowth was about to ask her.
"Because we already have a company mascot anyway." Lucy said, entering the room, causing everyone to look at her.
"Huh?" Meowth asked confused.
Lucy takes out a large, quadrupedal, feline Pokémon. Its fur is pale tan with the exception of its black-rimmed ears. It has a short muzzle with a small, black nose, red eyes with slit pupils, rounded ears, a pair of pointed teeth in its upper jaw, and three whiskers on either side of its face. Its thick whiskers are very sensitive to changes in air movements, enabling it to detect its prey by movement alone. In the center of its forehead is a red jewel. Its long tail has a distinctive curl at the end.
"Persian." it purred.
"I found this Persian snoozing in the backyard." Lucy said.
"It's adorable!" Cassandra smiled before she looks back at Meowth. "Oh Meowth, I promise to pamper this Persian just like you. Now you can go on being a superhero."
"There goes our money." Jessie said sadly.
"Oh man." Sam moaned.
"I'm a hero." Meowth said as his eyes watered. "But I got zero. Wah!"
It was the afternoon as Team Rocket and Team Neo were walking in the sunset.
Cheer up, Meowth. Every dog has their day. You will too... maybe.
