Theanimemaster9000: It's a bit of both actually. Jaune is afraid of going all out in fear the Favnear will appear because he doesn't want to hurt anyone, especially since they're in Beacon, where a lot more damage can happen, but Qrow is just that powerful. If you read the 2nd Databook on this story, which is on here, Qrow is an S-Class Ranked Huntsmen, a rank just below headmaster, and when Ozpin fought Jaune, he couldn't land a hit, it's pretty much the same thing here, Qrow's is much more powerful then Jaune, Winter, and even Adam. While Winter is a specialist and also an S-Class Ranked huntsmen, she is still new to the rank, much like Marrow, and Adam is only a Pro-Huntsmen rank, which is still very much a higher rank than Jaune is, he's still rather powerful, but nowhere near the rank of S-Class Huntmsne like Qrow. Also, Adam was not holding back, he was intending to kill Jaune during their fight, but with Jaune's Aura control, techniques, and quick thinking, Jaune was able to put up a good fight. But Qrow, much like his sister, is one of the most powerful Huntsmen in the World of Remnant (at least in this story). Jaune is famous in this story what with him being the only 1st year at Beacon, helping save Vale during the breach, and capturing Roman, however, he is still a novice, as he still hasn't mastered his Aura Techniques, his King's Aura isn't as powerful as his Grandmothers, still hasn't awakened his semblance, and of course, hasn't controlled his Inner Grimm yet, but should he be able to do all of this, in time, he has the potential to be more powerful than both his grandmother and Ozpin in this story.

Reader: Thank you, as for an Arslan V Winter, well something like that might happen in the sequel because trust me, it is an interesting fight and one I'll definitely add in the sequel! Betty will definitely add to the chaos, while she's old, she's still young at heart, but we won't get to see her fight just yet~!

X3runner: I haven't watched Yu Yu Hakusho yet! No spoilers! But Betty is meant to be the typical funny and foul-mouthed old lady but is sweet to her family and very, very, protective. "Mama Bear" is the nickname that her husband, Johnathan Arc, gave her.

I am sorry for the Long wait, but here's the chapter that you all have been waiting for!

Also, just watched "Puss in Boots: The Last Wish" and man I gotta say what a fucking great movie! Goldie and the 3 bears made me tear up, The wolf/death put the absolute fear of god in me! (my sister's been trying to whistle like him all day!), and oh my god was that a Shrek 5 teaser at the end!? The Animation looked like Into the Spiderverse, which I actually kind of like!

Fun fact of the day about me, I'm a big movie lover and before I got into writing, I originally wanted to be an actor so I went to film school, and while there I learned how to write a script, act, and a couple of other things about film, hell I even watched really old films like the "7 Samurai" which actually inspired the popular western movie "The Magnificent 7".

Another fun fact that I learned was that one of the actors from 7 samurai, Toshiro Mifune, was considered for the role of both Obi-Wan and Darth Vader, but he refused because he was concerned about how the film would look and that it would cheapen the image of samurai, which George Lucas had based a lot of the character and fighting styles on.

Anyway, enough of that nerd stuff let's dive into the chapter! I hope you all enjoy today's Chapter!

Outside in the clear patch of the forest, Jaune along with ABRN, CFVY, Sun, and Neptune, stood in front of Ozpin, Glynda, Ironwood, Qrow, Winter, Shion, and Betty.

Betty looked at her grandson with a smile, "Now I'm sure you're wondering why I'm here kiddo," She said.

"YEAH!" Jaune cried with a bewildered look, "Grandma, you never told me you were huntsmen!"

Betty shrugged, "I'm really not a Huntsmen in the traditional sense," Betty replied.

Jaune looked at her but was now confused, "Ok, but you never told me you were a war hero! Or that you use to be a teacher at Beacon! Does Grandpa know!?"

Betty smiled, "Of course, he knows sweetie, you really think I'd keep that from your grandfather?" Betty asked, "The only reason you and your sisters don't really know is that your dad and I agreed to hide my past due to who I am and how many people might use you to get to me," Betty said.

"But how is it that you know so many powerful people?" Jaune asked.

"Powerful?" Betty asked with a smile, she then let out a hearty laugh, "Please, the only real powerful person here is Ozpin! Glynda here could have been on my level if she actually got the stick out of her ass!"

Glynda looked a little hurt by Betty's words but at the same time was furious at how she phrased them.

"If James wasn't such a good little soldier he might have been someone who I could actually fight with, instead he likes to take it up the ass from any council because he thinks he's right than everyone else!"

Ironwood hid behind his hand and sighed, not wanting to hear Betty's words.

"Qrow's an excellent fighter but he's a drunk and he's cocky, hell his sister give me more of a fight and she's a coward!"

Qrow looked at his former teacher with a hurt expression, "Ouch teach," Qrow said.

"As for little Ms. Speacialist over there," Betty said pointing her thumb at Winter, "Hell she isn't even close to her Grandfather or her mother, which is a damn shame, her grandfather was one of the best fighters I knew, and her mother, well, It's a shame what my god-daughter turned into," Betty said.

Winter somewhat flinched when Betty mentioned both her grandfather and her mother. She looked up to her grandfather, he was one of the most fearless, brave, kind, and amazing huntsmen of his time in Atlas, and her mother, her mother was a sore subject.

"As for Shion, well, they weren't always a fighter, but at least they still know how to fight and remember my lessons," Betty said, "But as for why I and Shion are here, we're here to help you control the Grimm inside of you,"

"How?" Jaune asked his grandmother.

Betty smiled, "Shion has a semblance that allows them to send the hearts of others into a sleeper's dream, they give coins to lucid dreamers after they enter the sleeper's dream, the coins then can be used to create telephones for communication, a marker door, a decoy, a map showing where the dreamer has been up to that point or get sent back to the real world," Betty explained, "However, since this isn't a normal situation for their semblance to be used, they'll have to send you in yourself, and you'll be the one going in, once inside, you'll be fighting the Grimm while on the outside we'll be fighting the Grimm in your body, Winter and Qrow are here to help as are your friends,"

Ozpin then stepped forward, "Betty are you sure you should be fighting? Your fight with Raven lasted almost 4 days," Ozpin told her.

Betty looked at the headmaster with a smile, "Raven put up a decent fight but she's still nowhere close to beating me," Betty said, "But I think I should sit this one out, give me a good chance to see what my old students are able to do," Betty said with a smirk.

Qrow stepped forward with his hand half raised, "I call dibs on going first," Qrow said.

Winter looked at him, "You don't even have a weapon anymore," She said.

"Ain't no problem little Schnee," Betty said with a smile, as she unsheathed her blade and threw it at Qrow, who caught it.

Qrow looked at the blade and smiled, "I always wanted to hold this," He said as he gave the blade a few twirls and swings, "I remember my time and I trying to get our hands on it back when we were students,"

Shion then stepped forward and looked at Jaune, "Mr. Arc, this must be done quickly," Shion told him, "So are you ready?" they asked.

Jaune looked back to his friends and they gave him a look, telling him they were ready for whatever they needed to do, Jaune then looked over to his teachers and saw Ozpin and his grandmother smile at him. He looked back to Shion and gave them a nod. "I'm ready," Jaune said.

Shion nodded, and she used her Semblance on Jaune, the young knight closed his eyes, but then his eyes shot open and he looked up to see a blue sky, not a cloud in sight, and then he sat up and found himself in Beacon's courtyard, but it was empty, no student or teacher in sight, there wasn't even a sign of noise, just the wind, it was all rather peaceful.

"So, you arrived," came a familiar voice.

Jaune turned around only to see something he was not expecting to look at. Before him, stood a man, he wore no shoes, a black tattered robe around his waist, his torso was naked, his red hair was as long as Yangs, but more straight, his skin was as pale as ash, his eyes were black and red, and it didn't take Jaune long to figure out who this really was.

"Favnear," Jaune seethed.

Favnear looked at him with an expressionless face. "I was hoping you'd come," Favnear said.

Jaune took a step forward as he glared at Favnear, "We can do this the easy way or the hard way, but whichever way it goes, I'm getting my body back!" Jaune declared.

Favnear then held out his hand and a sword appeared in his hand, it was Crocea Mors, but the blade was black. Jaune quickly unsheathed his Crocea Mors and activated the shield, preparing to fight.

Favnear pointed Crocea Mors at him, "You can try, but I will have your life," Favnear told him.

Jaune charged up his aura as did Favnear and they both swung their swords at each other, unleashing a black and white Arcus Mortis, and the two attacks clashed, neither overtaking the other, as they blew up.

Jaune and Favnear looked at each other and charge at one another, however, Jaune disappeared and then reappeared behind the Grimm, slashing at him, but Favnear quickly turned around and blocked that attack, the two Crocea Mors clashed, before the owners broke apart and stared down one another. Favnear disappeared and then appeared right in front of Jaune, but his blade was pulled back ready to stab Jaune.

The blonde knight activated Aura Sight and quickly dodged the thrusting attack, Jaune then quickly went for an upward slash, but Favnear blocked it. Jaune then quickly pulled back and swung again, and then again, however, Favnear kept blocking or parrying his attacks.

"It's useless you know," Favnear said as he parried a left slash from Jaune, "I know all your moves, your techniques, I know everything about you,"

Jaune swung at him again, but Favnear still managed to block it, and seeing this Jaune smiled, confusing the dragon Grimm, but he then realized what Jaune was up to when his blade glowed white, but before he could move, Jaune already unleashed a close ranged Arcus Mortis, which sent the Grimm flying backward.

Jaune smiled as he saw the Grimm land on the stone path of Beacon, "You might know everything about me, even my techniques, but even with all the knowledge, you won't beat me," Jaune said proudly.

Favnear got up and growled, "Fine," Favnear said, "Then it seems I'll have to kick it up a notch,"

Wings then sprouted out of Favnear's back and due to his Aura Sight, Jaune saw the Grimm's black aura rise, and the young knight could feel the pressure from where he stood and it was strong, much stronger than he thought it would be, but then again, Favnear was a large and ancient Grimm.

"Prepare to lose everything, Jaune Arc," Favnear said with a guttural voice, "I will make it... all mine,"

Jaune prepared himself for the fight and knew that things had just got a lot more difficult.

Meanwhile, on the outside of Jaune's inner world, all of them cleared away from the clear patch as Qrow stood across an unconscious Jaune, waiting for him to transform.

Qrow sighed, "Come on kid, I don't got all-"

Before Qrow could finish, Jaune's Aura rose and a mix of black and white aura could be seen, and slowly Jaune's body rose and his features quickly changed. Jaune's hair again became silverish, his scleras were black and his iris' were red, and a pair of folded black bat-like wings with red veins protruded out of his back, and the bone-like mask covered Jaune's mouth and nose, however, it no longer looked like a human jaw, and another different feature appeared on the teen in the form of dark veins, which appeared around his neck and forearms.

Qrow, along with many others was shocked to see the Grimmified form of their friend, however, it was Sun and Arslan that noticed the addition of the veins and the different appearance of the mask.

Sun leaned next to Arslan while keeping his eyes on Jaune and Qrow. "Ars, you see that too?" Sun asked her.

Arslan nodded, "I do," She replied, "The veins are new and the mask is different,"

Sun nodded, "Could it be because he's inside his inner world or whatever, and the Grimm has a bit more control of his body?" Sun asked.

"It's possible," Arslan replied.

Back with Qrow, he got ready to fight the Grimmified student before him but was still taken aback by the transformation. "Whoa, gotta admit, that's a scary thing to see," Qrow said with a smile, "But let's see if you're really as big and bad as they think you are," He said with a smirk.

The Grimmified knight unsheathed Crocea Mors and glared at Qrow. "RAAAAAHHHHH!" Jaune roared as he charged at Qrow.

Qrow quickly unleashed a dark red Arcus Mortis, but the Grimmified Jaune dodged the attack and unleashed its own Arcus Mortis, which was both black at white. Qrow quickly dodged it by disappearing only to reappear away from the attack, but the Grimmified Arc appeared right in front of him and slashed downward, hitting Qrow in the chest and causing his aura to take the full hit. Qrow fell backward and Jaune quickly tried to stab him, but Qrow used both of his feet to kick the young teen back before getting back on his feet.

Jaune landed hard on the ground, but quickly regained his composure and snarled at the S-Class Huntsmen.

Qrow took a quick breath and then nervously smiled, "Ok, time to really get serious," he said.

Qrow then unleashed three quick Arcus Mortis before quickly vanishing and then reappearing behind the boy and unleashing another three Arcus Mortis, the two attacks shot straight for Jaune, and he roared as the attacks collided and caused an explosion. Qrow watched as the dust settled only to see that Jaune wasn't there, much to his and everyone's shock.

"Where the hell did he go?" Qrow asked

A loud roar was heard and they all looked up to see Jaune in the sky, flying due to the wings on his back.

Qrow whistled as he saw Jaune in the air. "He can fly now, eh? I wonder what other trick's he's gonna pull out of his ass,"

The Grimmified Jaune looked down and pointed his index and middle finger at Qrow and a black swirling ball formed, and then it shot down toward the drunk and the ground with blinding speed. Seeing the attack, Arslan warned everyone to move, and everyone, including Qrow, evaded the attack, and once the black ball struck the ground, an explosion occurred, but it was so large that the shock pushed many of them back while the rest, most of the older generation, managed to dodge the shock wave of the explosion.

Once the dust settled, Qrow landed in the clearing, which was now a crater, and then landing hard and cracked the ground underneath his feet, was the Grimmified Jaune.

Qrow chuckled as he still nervously smiled at the Grimm teen, "Ok, ok, been a while since I've had my balls in my throat," Qrow said, "Alright kid, looks like I'm really gonna have to be careful," Qrow said with a chuckle.

The fight both outside and inside waged on...
